[Oddish, the Weed Pokemon. A grass and poison-type pokemon. During the day, it keeps its face buried in the ground. At night, it wanders around sowing its seeds. It may be mistaken for a clump of weeds. If you try to yank it out of the ground,it will shriek horribly.]

"An Oddish so that's its name," Pamela said as she put away her Pokedex.

"Yeah, you going to catch it?" Landon asked.

"Of course let's do this Pidgey!" Pamela said sending out her newly captured Pokemon.

"Good luck," Landon said.

"Start this off with Tackle," Pamela ordered.

"Pidg!" Pidgey cried out as he flew into the air and flew towards Oddis and successfully landed a Tackle.

"Oddish!" Oddish cried out as it stood up shaking off the attack.

The next moment multiply Oddish appeared in front of Pidgey.

"It knows Double Team," Landon stated.

"Alright hit all of them with Gust!" Pamela commanded.

"Pidgey!" Pidgey cried out as he flapped his wings rapidly creating a powerful gust and sending Oddish smacking into a tree.

"Now Pokeball go!" Pamela said throwing a Pokeball straight at Oddish as a red beam sucked in on the inside of the Pokeball.

The Pokeball shook five times until it stopped and made a click sound signaling that Oddish was successfully captured.

"Nice job Pam you got your third Pokemon," Landon said smiling at his best friend.

"Thanks now our team is even," Pamela said returning her Pidgey and putting both Pidgey and Oddis's pokeballs on her belt.

"Let's go we travel for another two hours and then call it a night," Landon said looking up at the sky and seeing the sun was lower meaning it was getting close to evening.

"Sounds like a plan to me," Pamela agreed.

Landon and Pamela stopped in a clearing after two more hours of traveling through the Viridian forest.

"This should be a good place to rest for the evening," Landon stated.

"I will set up the tent," Landon said taking off his backpack and pulling out a black bag.

"Your tent is one for multiple people, right? Pamela asked as she pulled out three cans from her bag along with three bowls.

"Yes it even has separate areas with a zipper door to keep the privacy like the old one we used for camping trips," Landon said as he set up a large dark blue tent.

"I remember that tent very cozy," Pamela said as she pour food into the bowls from the cans."I see it blue this time wasn't the old one green?" She asked.

Landon nodded."That correct that one worn out so my parents got me an new tent for the journey."

"Ah," Pamela said sending out her three Pokemon. 

Once the tent was setup. Landon began perpareing dinner for his Pokemon as well before perpareing dinner for himself as Pamela worked on making some noodles for dinner.

"Eat up my friends," Landon said sending out his three Pokemon.

"So you think we will reach Pewter City by tomorrow?" Pamela asked heading Landon an bowl of soup.

"Yeah I don't think it will take much longer as long as we follow the path," Landon replied taking the bowl.

Pamela nodded as she and Landon peacefully ate there dinner in silence along with there Pokemon.  Once they were all done both of them clean up the dishes and headed on inside of the tent to get some sleep for the night.

The following morning Landon and Pamela woke up to the beautiful  sound of the flying type pokemon singing.  

They both stepped out of the tent fully dressed and ready to go.

"That was an great sleep," Pamela said yawning as she stretch her arms.

"Let's have an nice quick breakfast and then we can get start with today traveling, " Landon said as he put tent folded back up in the bag it was in.

"Good plan what's the plan for breakfast today?" Pamela asked glanced over at Landon.

"How do you feel about jelly filled donuts?" Landon asked pulling out an bag of jelly filled donuts.

"Yummy," Pamela said as she grabbed four of the jelly-filled donuts before sending out her three Pokemon. 

They cried out happily seeing the sight of food.

"Donuts for you all as well who says Pokemon need to eat Pokemon food everyday, " Landon said giving food to Pamela's Pokemon before sending out his own Pokemon to eat as well.

Pamela smile and laugh at there Pokemon excitement of having donuts for breakfast.

Once all the Pokemon were happily feed and Landon and Pamela done with there breakfast.  They both returned there Pokemon and began making there way deeper through the Viridian forest.

As they were walking through the forest a cry of pain was heard coming from up head.

"Hey what was that?" Pamela questioned.

"It came from that way," Landon said pointing ahead. 

The  duo followed the sound to see an  boy around there age kneeling near an lake in front of an small pink dopey looking Pokemon. 

"Hey is everything okay?" Landon asked as he walked over towards the boy near the boy with Pamela following him.

"Ah, hello my name Desmond," The boy said with an friendly smile."Yes it should be if you can help me patch up this Slowpoke," He said.

"A Slowpoke so that it's name," Pamela commented."Here let me help you," Pamela said taking out an potion from the side pocket of her bag.

"Thank you so who are you two and where you from since you don't seem to know anything about Slowpoke you must be from an different region," Desmond sated. 

"I'm Pamela and the boy next to me is my best friend Landy but his official  name is Landon," Pamela said spraying potion on the Slowpoke's injured tail 

"Yes I'm Landon and we're from the Calida Region," Landon said. 

"Ah, Calida Region  believe i heard of it,' Desmond stated. 

"Well it an great place you surre explore it sometime," Landon sated.

"Well we got to get going take care of Slowpoke," Pamela said as the boy captured the Slowpoke who seem eager to go with him.

"Hold on what do you say we travel together?" Desmond asked.

"Sounds good to me what about you Landon?" Pamela asked. 

"Sure nice to have an new friend  to travel with," Landon said.

"Then welcome to the group Desmond," Pamela said.

"Gald to be part of the group, " Desmond said. 

Now with Desmond apart of there group the newly  formed trio  continued the way through Viridian forest when they cam across an strange samurai who ask if they were from Pallet which all three trainer told him no.

"Ah, I'm looking for trainers from. Pallet Town after battling three others from that place and the last one said there was an fourth," The Smaurai explained. 

"Sorry not us now if you excuse us we be leaving," Landon said.

"Yes of course I won't keep you if your heading to Pewter City then your almost there but beware of the Beedrill close by," The Samurai warned. 

"Thanks we will be careful," Pamela said. 

After thanking Samurai for the heads up the trio continued there path to Pewter City in peace.

Here we go the sixth chapter of Landon's adventure aiming to enter the Indigo League. Pamela captures a new Pokemon being Oddish.  Pamela and Landon soon meet an new guy name Desmond who ends up joining them in there travels and continue there journey through Viridian forest with Pewter City coming closer to there reach. In the next chapter they finally be in Pewter City where Landon will attempt to earn his first gym badge.
