Landon was walking toward the airport with his partner Saber by his side.

"Here we go, Saber we're soon going to be on a flight to the Kanto Region," Kandon said looking down at his shiny Bagon partner.

"Bagon!" Saber cheered ready for the adventure.

"Hey Landon you finally here," Pamela called out running over towards Kandon hugging him.

"Yeah sorry it took long," Landon said."Apparently, my dad had a final surprise for me, " He said.

"Oh really what was it?" Pamela asked.

"You just have to wait and see, " Landon said smiling.

"No fun, " Pamela said.

"He has never been fun," A voice stated.

Landon and Pamela turned around to see Kendall standing behind them with his hands crossed.

"Kendall, what are you doing here?" Landon asked.

"Bagon?" Saber asked wondering the same thing.

"You didn't think you be getting to the Indigo League without having to get through me," Kendall said."If you plan on reaching the top in the League you have beat me, see you in the Kanto Region," He stated walking past Labdon and Pamela into the airport.

"You can bet I will be taking you down, Kendall," Landon muttered clenching his fist.

"Someone eager for that match that rivalry between you two never changes, " Pamela states with a smile at Landon's eagerness but sighs at Kendall's jerk attitude.

Landon, Pamela, and Saber walked inside the airport to catch the flight to the Kanto Region.

After getting through the security check at the airport. Landon along with Saber and Pamela were getting boarded onto the plane taking them to the Kanto Region.

Saber yawned as Landon returned him to his Pokeball to rest during the flight as he sat down in his seat.

"Now will you tell me what your dad gave you?" Pamela asked glancing at Landon as she placed her bag down on the floor under the seat in front of her.

"Alright he gave me a Pokemon egg he found alone while training with his Pokemon," Landon replied bucking up his seatbelt.

"Really a Pokemon egg," Pamela said.

"Yeah, I don't know what Pokemon it will hatch to but as soon as we get to Kanto I will have my egg checked by Nurse Joy," Landon replied.

"Cool my only Pokemon is Gossplash," Pamela said.

"You catch a pokemon once we get to Kanto," London said."So are you still planning on studying the Pokemon as a professor?" He asked.

"You know I have been thinking about if I want to be a Pokemon Professor, but maybe I should give the league a go even if im not a huge battler."

"I say you do what feels right but you won't know if the league is for you until you try maybe do at least two gym battles and stop if you don't like it," Landon stated.

"I will think about it but might not do the gym challenges," Pamela commented looking out the window as the plane took flight.

"That understandable the path you choose is yours to make," Landon stated."I'm aiming for the Indigo League to get experience to be a gym leader?"

"Yeah I was surprised you won't aim for a champion like your father, "Pamela commented."Also what typing do you want to specialize in as a gym leader?" She asked.

"Nah beating my father for the champion title is my little bro's goal," Landon said with a smile."I don't know for sure yet maybe Dragon or Ghost,  but I know when the right typing comes to me."

"I think a Dragon gym suits you with Saber as your partner but could see you as a ghost-type trainer, "Pamela said with a bright smile.

"Oh yeah," Landon said.

"Yeah."

Soon the plane was coming for a landing as it arrived in Viridian City.

"Everyone welcome to Viridian City!" The pilot announced.

"Where here in Kanto," Pamela said taking off her seatbelt.

"That's right," Landon said unbuckling him and grabbing his bag before standing up.

"Ready when you are," Pamela said grabbing her bag.

"Then let's go," He said as he walked into the aisle and towards the exit and saw Kendall up ahead walking off the plane."The first thing we should call home and let them know we made it safely to the Kanto Region."

"Agree you should get your egg checked out as well," Pamela said.

"I plan to give it to Nurse Joy as soon as we reach the Pokemon Center," Landon said as they walked off the plane and toward the exit of the airport.

Now the duo was walking through the streets of Viridian City toward the Pokemon center.

"Luckily my mother got me a map of the Kanto program in my Pokewatch, " Pamela said showing a red watch on her wrist showing a map.

"Nice," Landon said looking at the cool watch.

"Now the Pokemon Center is just up ahead it that large building over there," Pamela said pointing at the building with a red roof.

"It's sure is huge but makes sense," Landon commented taking in the sight of the building.

"Yeah, it does with it being a hospital for pokemon it's bound to be huge, plus they even offer rooms for traveling trainers," Pamela said.

"That's right my parents told me about it when we visited Hoenn once for vacation," Landon said.

Landon and Pamela walked into the Pokemon center where they saw a pink-haired woman at the front desk.

"Welcome to the Pokemon Center," Nurse Joy greeted."How can I help you today?" She asked.

"Hello Nurse Joy would you please take a look at my pokemon egg," Landon said pulling out his egg from his bag.

"Yes I will take care of your Pokemon egg,' Nurse Joy said with a smile as she headed toward the back to examine Landon's egg.

"Now to call home," Landon said walking over to one of the video phones as Pamela did the same heading to the video phone on the left of where Landon went.

Landon dialed his home and waited a few minutes before his dad answered the phone and was seen on the screen.

"Hello dad," He greeted.

"Hey son how are you?"

"I'm good I and Pamela just arrived at the Pokemon Center in Viridian City."

"Ah, so you made it to the Kanto region."

"That correct and as soon as Nurse Joy is done examining my egg I will register for the Indigo League," Landon said.

"So you're getting your egg check also don't forget to see Professor Oak for useful information on the Pokemon in Kanto."

"I will fo that as soon as my register is complete."

"Alright talk to you later. I  have to check on your siblings. Austin is disappointed he couldn't go with you but your  mom, and I told him when he is six years old we might allow him to travel with you," His dad explained.

"Sounds good let him know he is welcome to hang out with the Pokemon I send to the lab."

"I tell him. Talk to you later."

"Bye."

Landon stood up as he ended the call and saw Pamela was still on her call with her parents. He walked over to the front desk as he was called saying his egg was ready to go.

"Landon your egg is nice and healthy and is not that far from hatching probably about another three days to wait," Nurse Joy said heading the egg to Landon.

"Thank you Nurse Joy I would like to register for the Indigo league."

"I will just need your Pokedex," Nurse Joy said.

Landon nodded and placed the egg on the counter as he grabbed his Pokedex and headed it to Nurse Joy. Nurse Joy took it and placed it into the computer slot.

"Landon Knight from Jade Town in the Calida Region has been officially registered for the Indigo League and possesses 0 out of 8 badges needed to enter the Indigo League," The computer announced showing a picture of Landon and his current team and the number of badges.

"You are now all registered," Nurse Joy said giving Landon back his Pokedex."Now you need to earn eight badges and you will be able to participate in the Indigo League." She then gave him a red and black rectangle case for his badges.

"Thank you," Landon said taking the badge case and putting it in his pocket of his green jacket, before putting his egg back in his bag.

"You all ready to go?" Pamela asked walking towards him.

"Yes let's go," Landon said as he and Pamela left the Pokemon center to head to Pallet Town to see Professor Oak.

Here we go the second chapter of Landon's adventure aiming to enter the Indigo League. Landon and Pamela run into Kendall at the airport. Soon they arrive in Viridian City in the Kanto Region and head to the Pokemon Center to contact their parents before heading off to Pallet Town to see Professor  Oak once Landon is registered for the Pokemon league.
