In the Calida Region, it was a beautiful late Moonlite evening in Jade Town. A ten-year-old boy with silver hair stopped at his neck and amber eyes wearing black pajamas with a Pokeball logo on the center.

He was reading a book on raising Pokemon like Dragon types as the TV was playing a scene of a match from Kanto of  Bruno from the Elite Four battling last time winner of the Indigo League.  Next to him on the bed was Saber his shiny Bagon.

"Saber I'm finally ten years old.  I can finally get my Pokemon trainer license, " Landon said smiling at Saber as he shut his book." I will soon begin my pokemon journey gaining wisdom in training, traveling, and exploring new places. I will become the greatest Gym Leader of all time!" He stated pumping his fist.

At that moment his mom  Catherine entered his bedroom carrying a sleeping two-year-old girl with short pink hair wearing a purple onesie.

"Landon, you're still awake?  It getting pretty late so you should be asleep along with Saber," Catherine said with a smile as she read the time on the Pokeball clock on the nightstand closest to the door.

"Sorry, Mom.  I guess my excitement of finally being a Pokemon trainer kept me from sleeping, and I was studying to raise dragon types like Saber," Landon said putting his book on the nightstand.

"That may be so,  but you should be sleeping.  You have to be ready tomorrow to get your Pokemon trainer license and catch the plane if you're going to Kanto for your first Pokemon journey, right?" Catherine said.

"Yes, mom. Good night Mom," Landon said as he lay down in bed with Saber in his arms.

"Night my dear prince," Catherine said as she turned off the light and left the room closing the door.

'I just can't wait to start my journey tomorrow.' Landon thought with a bright smile on his face as he dozed off to sleep.

The sound of the alarm clock blaring woke Landon with a groan.  He reached over and hit the snooze button and turned over on his other side mumbling."It's too early to get up," He mumbled.

Saber yawned as he stretched his body and stood up on the bed and rammed his head against Landon's stomach.

"Ah, geez I'm getting up alright," Landon said rubbing his stomach before sitting up in bed stretching his arms, and yawning."Good morning,  but next time don't try to get me out of bed like that your head hurts."

"Bagon." Saber greeted before chuckling at his trainer complaining as he got up from his bed and started getting ready for his journey.

His hair was neatly combed smoothly against his neck after washing it.  He has a dark blue crystal around his neck tucked inside an orange shirt.  He wearing a short-sleeved green jacket. Along with blue pants, grey gloves, red shoes, and black sunglasses.

"Alright time to eat a quick breakfast, before heading off to Professor Redbud's lab," He said looking back at his Pokemon partner."Come on, " He said as Saber nodded as he followed Landon.

Landon walked downstairs and into the kitchen where he saw his mother wearing a pink dress and white apron while standing at the stove.  Meanwhile at a marble table was a four-year-old wearing a white shirt and red shorts sitting at the center of the table with an adorable pink-haired two-year-old girl in the high chair next to him.

"Good morning, Mom,  Austin, and Lizzy," Landon greeted sitting on the side of the table close to Elizabeth.

"Bagon," Saber greeted walking over to and blue bowl full of Pokemon food and berries.

"Morning big bro! " Austin greeted happily getting up and hugging his big brother Landon.

"Morng Landy," Elizabeth said cutely smiling at Landon.

Landon chuckled."It's morning Lizzy and it's Landon, not Landy, " He stated. 

"Landy nice one," Austin said smiling at Elizabeth.

"I agree," Catherine said smiling at her three children."Now the time to eat breakfast is ready." She said placing a plate of toast on the table with a plate full of stacks of pancakes with two empty plates in the middle and a bowl of pudding on the highchair.

"Yes, toast!" Austin exclaimed running over back to his seat as Catherine put two pieces of cut of toast and cut up two pancakes on a plate and put it in front of him.

"Where Dad?" Landon asked filling up a glass of juice. 

"He went out earlier as usual to train with his pokemon, "Catherine replied as she put a spoon in Elizabeth's mouth.

"Of course, " Landon said."He always says a trainer must be prepared for challenges and training is the key.'

"Yeah that right now eat up you don't want to be late," She said. 

"Right," Landon said as he began eating his breakfast.

As soon as he was done he stood up from his seat."Alright, I'm heading on out," He said walking towards the exit of the kitchen.

"Now don't forget to come back and get your ticket to Kanto and backpack," Catherine said.

"I won't forget Mom, " He replied.

Meanwhile elsewhere...

A young ten-year-old girl is seen walking down a dirt pathway towards a large black building located uphill with an overall on the top.  She has porcelain skin and blonde hair reaching down her back and a bang touching her forehead and two side pieces framed against her face. With beautiful pink eyes and wearing a pink, black, and white jacket over and a short-sleeved red shirt. She also had on grey leggings and pink and black shoes to finish off the outfit she had on a pink and white visor hat.

As she walked up the hill she accidentally bumped into a boy around her age with spiky blue hair and green eyes.

"Oh,  sorry.  Excuse me!" She said standing up from the ground and dusting herself off.

"You should watch where you are going," He stated as he looked at the girl."Well if it isn't Pam, so you're the second one here bet you're traveling with him."

"Kendall, it is Pamela, not Pam," She commented."Also, don't disrespect Landon he is a better guy than you."

"Where finally here, " A voice said cutting through the conversation, making Pamlea smile and Kendall glare at space as they recognized the voice.

They turned in that direction as they saw Landon walking towards them with Saber his shiny Bagon near his feet.

"Hey,  Landon.  It's good to see you," Pamela said.

"You too, Pamela," Landon nodded."Oh hi, Kendall."

"It's you," Kendall muttered.

"Well, it seems all three of you are here," A voice said as a tall muscular man in his early 20s with red hair tied back in a ponytail and was wearing a white lab coat over a green shirt.  He also had on black shorts."Come along you three," He said signaling them inside of the lab.

"Alright Professor Redbud," Pamela said as she walked inside with Landon and Kendall doing the same.

Professor Redbud led the three beginning trainers inside a room where three Pokeballs were sitting inside a case."Now that you are all here you can choose your starter," He said."Landon, I know you already have a partner in Bagon, but it is only fair that one of the starters doesn't get stuck behind for next year's new trainers."

"I don't mind taking one, "Landon said.

Professor Redbud nodded as he pushed a button opening the case."Excellent now first up is Budkit,  the grass-type pokemon," He said sending out a small quadrupedal, fox-looking Pokemon with light green fur and dark green leaf patches on its fire head and a small bush tail with purple buds. It has bright pink eyes and pink coloring inside its ears.

"That's cute," Pamela said with a soft smile.

"Next up is Embkid,  the fire-type pokemon, " He said sending out a small quadrupedal-looking pokemon with orange fur with black patches of spots.  It had black hoove feet and brown eyes with a small resist flame at the end of its behind as a tail.

'That one is definitely an interesting pokemon, but I'm not sure if I want the fire type.' Landon thought studying the two Pokemon in front of the Professor.

"Finally we have Gossplash,  the water-type Pokemon," He said sending out a tiny and slightly chubby goose.  If the body was bright blue with white under the belly and facial cheeks.  The tips of its feather wings were black.  It has two large black eyes and a black mouth with black legs.

"Now why don't you go first Pamela, " Professor Redbud said glancing at Pamela.

Pamela walked forward as she looked at the three starters in front of her.

"I'm going to go with Gossplash," She said picking up the water-type starter and hugging it.

"Alright here is the Pokeball for Gossplash," Redbud said heading her to the Pokeball with a waterdrop sticker."Now which one of you wants to choose next?"

"He can go," Kendall said sending a glance at Landon.

"Budkit my choice," Landon said picking up Budkit who stared at Landon deeply as Landon took the Pokeball returning Budkit.

"The best saved for the best," Kendall said."Embkid your mine," He said returning Emberkid.

"Now you will need these as well, "Professor Redbud said giving the three ten Pokeballs and each Pokedex.

"See you later Landy-loser," Kendall said walking off with a smug smile.

"Well he didn't let me finish, but he probably doesn't need it," Professor Redbud said."When you catch more than six Pokemon they will automatically be sent to my lab with your Pokedex with a feature I programmed you can switch out members of your team with the Pokemon here without needing to call me."

"I see the nice feature," He said stareing at his green rectangle-shaped  Pokedex with a large front screen button on the bottom and a port that slides out at the bottom.

"That the transporter port just click transfer on the screen and put the Pokeball on the port and it will transfer," Professor Redbud explained.

"Thank you, Professor," Landon said as he started walking off with Saber.

"Wait aren't we traveling together to Kanto?" Pamela asked.

"We are I have to say get my ticket, and bag and say bye to my family," Landon replied.

"Right I meet you at the airport then," Pamela said.

Landon nodded as he left the lab waving bye.

"Also thanks Uncle Redbud for the Pokemon and Pokedex, " Pamela said leaving as well.

Landon and Saber arrived back at the house where they were greeted by Catherine holding a blue backpack out to him.

"Thank you, Mom," Landon said taking the bag and putting it on his back. "Is dad back?" He asked.

"Yes he playing with your siblings," She replied your tick in the bottom pocket."

"Alright."

"Before you go I have something for you, " His father said walking over towards him.

"What is it?"

"I found this while training in the forest, and believe you should take it with you," Jason said heading to an orange incubator with an egg inside."There wasn't a single parent in sight I figured it was in good hands with you."

"I promise to take good care of it," Landon said taking the egg before leaving and saying his final goodbye."Tell Austin and Lizzy bye for me."

"Will do, " Jason said.

"Landon remember to stop in Pallet Town to see Professor Oak he should have helpful advice for you on the Pokemon and Kanto, " Catherine called out.

Landon nodded before he smiled down at his newly obtained egg as he made his to the airport to meet up with Pamela for their trip to the Kanto Region.

Here we go the first chapter of Landon's adventure aiming to enter the Indigo League set with him and Pamela heading to the airport to go to Kanto. Next chapter Landon and Pamela will be in the Kanto Region ready to begin the adventure. It also looks like he will be dating Cynthia you have until Friday to vote if you haven't done so yet.
