Misty's POV
"In the flesh, Misty.", he said bowing elegantly before he took my hand and kissed the top of it.

"Oh my god, it has been so long.", I exclaimed while giving him a tight hug.

"Yeah I know, but I'm back now!", he said while returning my hug.

Third Person's POV
Misty, being so engrossed about the fact that Rudy is back, Misty failed to notice Ash, a few metres away seemingly glaring daggers at him...

Ash's POV
*Growls internally
That jerk face, who does he think he is? Taking Misty away Misty like that...

Wait, huh?
Why do I care?
Cause she is my friend right?

*Huffs

But she was supposed to spend time with me and that Rudy guy is basically ogling and giving the heart eyes to Misty. He definitely likes Misty.
But she belongs to me...
Okay maybe not and she is just a friend, I was content but why is my heart aching right now?

Kenny's POV
Currently, I am plopped on the bed of my own room, alone at home due to everyone being busy or out. It's time to eat but I'm a little too lazy to get my ass out of bed to go get something to eat.

As I lay in a starfish position staring into the ceiling, my thoughts can't help but naturally drifted to something or rather someone. But as I thought of her, there is something yelling at me from the back of my mind.

Why does Dawn look so familiar?
Barry, Dawn and I all come from the same town. Is it possible that I know her before?

Barry's POV
Bruhhhh.
I'm bored, and apparently, no one else but Kenny and Paul is at home. I'd ask for them to maybe go out with me, to cure my boredom, but Kenny is probably asleep and if I ask Paul, you all know what will happen. I will definitely be rejected in no time flat.
Hmmmm...

Maybe I should ask the girls(Preferably Dawn. *Coughs )
Exiting the apartment I went next door. Knocking on the door thrice, being in luck, Dawn was the one who answered.

"Hey."

"Oh hey, Barry, what's the matter?", she asked.

"Nothing much. You alone at home?", I questioned.

"Yeah. All the girls seemed to have disappeared."

"Oh, I see. I was actually thinking of asking you all if you guys wanted to go out to hang or something."

"Oh."

"You want to come?"

"Yeah sure, why not?" she replied.

But after she said that she disappeared into the apartment before reappearing.

"Where did you go?, I asked feeling confused.

"I just went to grab the keys"

"Ohhhh, okay, let's go then.", I exclaimed.

"Where are we going?", she inquired.

"I was thinking of the mall but on second thoughts, the park seems nice too."

"So to the park it is!", She jumped up while yelling cutely.

Third Person POV
Barry and Dawn had reached the park. There, they now sat on a bench side by side with their hands linked together and with Dawn's head leaning against Barry's shoulders as she breathes deeply with her half-lidded eyes taking in the fresh air, while Barry continuously ran his fingers down Dawn's hair, earning a satisfied hum from Dawn.

What happened?
Well,

Flashback:

Once They both reached the park, feeling slightly exhausted, they both collaspe onto a random park bench, panting slightly. Resting themselves on the bench as they looked at the kids running around playing tag and the parents standing nearby like a bodyguard making sure that their kids were safe. Looking at the sight in front of her, Dawn unconsciously subtly touched the silver pendant around her neck that was hidden behind her clothes and that small action didn't go unnoticed by Barry.

Barry eyed the pendant, finding it so strikingly familiar, that's when it hit him. Without warning the latter hugged the girl beside him tightly with tears streaming down his face whispering, "Dee dee?"

Getting over the shock of Barry abrupt embrace, her mind registered his words. It was him, her berry. But if he was berry, who was the other boy?

"Berry?", she whispered back.

Barty nodded as he rubbed the back of Dawn's head. Breaking away from the hug they both smiled while Dawn leaned against Barry's shoulders.

Flashback end

After a few minutes of peaceful silence with them just enjoying each others presence once again, Dawn asked, "do you know where he is?"

"Yeah, it's Kenny.", Barry replied with ease as if it was the most obvious thing, but Dawn, on the other hand, was not expecting it.

"Kenny?! Is it Kenny? Chic-ken is Kenny?!"

"Yup."

"Woah... I'm speechless. Who knew we would meet like this again?"

"Yeah, but right now, let's enjoy the time we have now together."

Dawn hummed in response as they enjoyed the remaining time together in silence, apart from the occasional chirping of birds and the constant yelling and laughter of kids.
Enjoying each others' presence as the sounds of laughter seemed to drift off to a faraway land...
