It was his message! He had messaged me!

After a few minutes I clicked on the new message with his name.

"Hello Riya☺
Thank you so much for inviting me to perform in your fest. It was a wonderful experience.
Also I found out that you had to deliver a cheque to me. Can you hold on to it for a while as I'm not in station right now. I'll collect it myself.
Thanks once again"

OMG! After reading his message for almost 5 times I decided to check his profile.
This person who I expected to be in his mid 20s, but he was just older to me by an year! He's 21.

He had the most beautiful smile. His eyes were dark and calm. His lips were full and pink. He had a calm yet charming face. The look on his face could melt any girl's heart easily. He was staring into my soul in his profile picture.

Once I realised I hadn't replied after reading his text I went to messages and clicked on his name again. This time the butterflies in my stomach seemed to have a marathon race.

"Hello,
I don't know if I should be calling you 'Sir' or 'Rahul'.
Anyway, you are welcome. It was an honor to see you perform. The crowd enjoyed your performance too. Thanks for coming. And sure I'll keep it safe until you return.
Take care."

I re read the message I typed and clicked on 'send'.

Within a couple of seconds he saw my message. There was a 'seen' below the message.

I expected him to reply which made me feel anxious. I waited eagerly.

Even after 10 minutes he did not reply. I was disappointed. Well,  disappointed is just an understatement! I logged out.

I switched on the television but did not find any shows interesting so I decided to read "The fault in our stars" for maybe a hundredth time!

Every time I read the novel it made me feel good. But this time, today I felt different. I actually pictured him as Augustus!
