The minute I reached home I took out the gift he gave me from my bag. A broad smile made it's way upon my face.

I carefully opened the gift wrapper without tearing it.

It was a novel. Just like we had discussed! "Everything I never told you" by Celeste Ng and a few chocolates. Just as I was about to throw the empty package, a small box fell down. It had bookmarks. I lifted it and noticed they were handmade! HE HAD MADE THEM!!

The first bookmark read "Thank you for being such a great friend."

The second read, "Who could have guessed we'd be friends?"

The third read, "August has passed. But now that we are good friends, happy friendship day".

I called him again and thanked him. I told him how much I loved these gifts. He said "I'm happy you liked them."
I replied "Rahul, like would only be an understatement. I love them."

A few days went by and we used to talk regularly on phone. We became so close that I would tell him every bit of information of my day!

So much was happening between the two of us and I believed it was love. Every time I looked at his smiling face on my phone's screen when he'd call me, I'd get so excited and would blush.

I decided to tell him about my feelings towards him.

Something was wrong with my whatsapp so I had to uninstall it. I installed kik. And he installed it too to chat with me. I made my mind to tell him everything tonight.
