After his parent's deaths Bruce Wayne was moved to Riverdale for his own safety, to escape the mystery, the threats, and secrets but unfortunately this was not the right town. Even around his family friends the Lodges, Bruce was shown the true colors, the ugly truth of nearly everything in the town. He took part in every investigation with Betty and Jughead, fought at Archie's side, and becoming business partners with Veronica several times. Despite rough first interactions with the Southside Serpents , losing faith and trust in nearly all of the towns adults he grew to love the town of Riverdale. Acting as an underage detective, vigilante, and business owner like his friends. 

Until one day when he taken, replaced by a double.  Forced into training by a cult like organization of killers that were around for hundreds of years.  By the time he returned he learned how his friends never learned it wasn't really him and killed it, covering up it's death and lying to the town, to Selina, and Alfred and were ready to live their lives never speaking the truth.  That made him lose his trust, that broke him.  

And sent him on a path..his destiny.
