You walked into Cheryl's room as a tear slid down her cheek. You were used to seeing her like this even months after Jason died. You quietly closed the door and tiptoed over to Cheryl's side. Your right hand touched hers as you closed the picture book. Your head rested on her shoulder and you kissed her neck.

"No, it's not, (Y/N)" she replied.

"It will be, I promise. I'm going to be here through all of it. You don't have to face everything alone"

"But he's gone" a tear fell.

"Physically, but he'll still be here in your heart"

"It still hurts"
