You were staying at Jughead's for the night. It so happened to be the night that the Serpents came round after they heard about his dad. You stayed inside, knowing what you've heard about the Serpents, and let Jug talk to them. When you saw the jacket being raised over his head, you called out quietly.

"Jug" you whispered, his head turned to you.

"Er, thanks guys," he slightly smiled. "Appreciate this"

"Come in, please" he heard from you.

"I'm here, it's okay" he closed the door and hugged you.

"I'm fine. Why did you accept that?"

"Because they were being kind. I was kind back"

"Okay, now, where were we?" You smiled.
