Part 2

Pop's:

Betty gave herself a.... makeover in order to seduce Chuck to where she and the others can take him. Knowing the perverted scumbag, it should actually be quite easy.

She enters Pop's where she eventually finds him in a booth. Chuck notices and tries to ignore Betty, but her alluring outfit forces him to glance once in a while, that's good.

"Hey Chuck." Betty calls to him in her sweetest voice. She rubs her hand on the other side of the table. "Can I sit?"

"Not if you want to discuss Veronica." Chuck replies with a shrug, continuing to eat his meal.

"Only in so far as...." Betty sits down, you rehearsed this personality many times in the mirror girl, you got this. "I've been thinking lately.... how I wanna be more, like her."

"You wanna be a bad girl?" Chuck asks with an amused face. Betty does her best to stare into Chuck's eyes without retching.

"Maybe..." She whispers suggestively.

"Like your sister Polly was?" Chuck asks, though not as some kind of taunt, but as a reference.

What does he mean by that?

Did he just call your sister a slut?

What kinda nerve does he have?!

"Oh yeah, Jason told us all about Polly." Chuck mentions, guess that makes since given his connection to the playbook. "Prissy Proved by day, freak in the sheets by night, and bad girls have more fun right?"

Was your sister like that?

He's listening to rumors.

This fucking asshole

Forget the whole plot, JUST KILL HIM!

"Yeah..." Betty lets out, regaining control of herself and getting back into character. "Maybe you can show me."

Chuck stares at her chest, swallowing hard. "Yes, yes, I-I can do that." He surprisingly stutters, causing her to suspect this might be the first time he's actually gotten any action without lying. "Uh, when?"

"Tomorrow night."

"Your place or mine?"

"Ethel's." Betty answers, to which Chuck understandably finds rather strange. "She and her parents will be out, she'll leave us a key. But we're friends and and she has a pool.... and a hot tub."

Chuck raises a seductive brow, got him. "I'll be there, definitely." He promises, no doubt looking excited for the night. "And uh... don't worry, I'll be gentle."

Betty forces a smile, she bets you will creep.

"Can't wait."

Ghostface then leaves his viewing point of the window. Betty doesn't know it yet, but after their little 'plot' the killer will take care of Chuck soon after.

Muggs House:

Chuck walks around to where the inside pool resides. He knocks on the door, makes sure his hygiene is correct, and the door opens to show Veronica standing there for him. "You're not Betty?" He points out, confused.

"Betty and I talked it over, and we decided it's time to stop fighting over Archie." Veronica then slowly steps back to him walk in. "And start learning... to share."

Chuck rubs his hands and licks his lips before stepping inside himself, before closing the door, an excited smile on his face. (Dang it man, that physically hurt to write) He looks around the place, fairly lighted and having it be inside gives them lots of privacy. "Nice..."

"Isn't it?" Veronica adds, revealing her swimwear which is standard, but knowing teenage guys, any type of female swimwear could work. "It gets very, very, hot." She walks to the hotub, staring seductively at Chuck. "Come on... let's get wet."

"Uh, should we wait for Betty to get here first?" Chuck asks before a door opens revealing...a girl in black lingerie, wig, and skirt. This stunning not only Chuck, but Veronica as well.

"Betty could make it, so she sent me instead."

Ethel idly sits in the coach, her brain distracting her of the scene going down in the pool room. It's someone weird trying to wait while whatever is happening, is happening, but....

Suddenly, her phone rings. She checks her cell to see it's an unknown number, but she picks up anyway, since she has nothing else to do. "Hello?"

"Hello there, Ethel." Cheryl's voice rings out on the other end. Ethel never expected her of all people to find the time to call her.

"Cheryl?"

"Bingo, how's Raven and Starfire on their little revenge scheme?" Cheryl asks, seemingly calling to check on what's going on.

"Uh, they're fine." Ethel answers with a shrug.

"Good, good." Cheryl says with a pleasant tone. "Anyway, I'm bored out of my mind over here, and I decided to watch child's play on HBO, reminded me of Chuck, then reminding me of the whole 'let's get revenge' thing."

"Huh...." Ethel hums, walking around her living room as she listens to Cheryl go on.

"Have you ever watched Child's play?" Chery then queries her.

"Um, no I haven't, sorry." Ethel nervously admits. "I'm..... not really a fan of horror movies, I never really see the appeal."

"Have you ever seen one?" Cheryl then asks next. "You know, before you turned on all the lights and hid behind the blankets?

"Um, I think so..." Ethel thinks, uncertain as she tries to recall it. "It was that one that took place during Christmas time..... and someone was giving weird calls on the phone?"

"Black Christman, yes!" Cheryl gleefully identifies it, clearing familiar with the movie. "I liked that movie, it was scary~"

"Well, I never really understood why people get off on getting frighted by monsters or serial killers." Ethel voices her opinion as she checks the window, seeing how dark it's gotten. "There's always so much blood, and people dying, and I don't really get it."

"Oh, I get it Ethel, believe me, I do."

Betty and Veronica prepare themselves a couple 'drink's where the former takes the opportunity to easily slip a little something to Chuck's cup. "What is that?" Veronica asks, curiously.

"Muscle relaxer, mix it with booze, and it lowers your inhibitions, hello truth serum." Betty explains, and Veronica is starting to feel like they're turning into a C.I.A interrogation.

"Maybe we should slow it down a little." Veronica suggests, not wanting to go overboard with this plan of hers.

"It's fine." Betty assures before turning to their target, who's getting very comfortable in the hot tub. "Right Chuck? You don't want to slow down, do you?"

"Oh I'm too fast and furious baby." Chuck quips as his answer, slightly shaking his hips.

"Good. Good boy Chuck."

"What do you mean?"

"I was scared too once, but I eventually found more charm in what the movies showed me." Cheryl explains, Ethel still doesn't entirely get it. "It was like popping my cherry. Sorry, I'm rambling on. You probably don't want to talk to somebody like me..."

"No, no, it's fine Cheryl." Ethel assures her, slightly surprised to hear her apologizing. "I'm just not much of a talker."

"Oh, Ethel, you're so sweet." Cheryl then note, though the girl doesn't how she should take that. "It's just... there's an itty-bitty issue going on here."

Ethel is confused. "What?"

There's a click.

"I'm not Cheryl." An entirely different voice rings out, Ethel is shocked by the sudden change in both tone and gender of the voice. "Do you really think she of all people would talk to someone so entirely fucking pointless like you?"

"W-Who is this?"

"Guess...." Ghostface teases her. "That's the game, after all, can you figure out who it is?"

Ethel doesn't know how to respond, she now feels more anxious, like whoever's on the other line is going to hurt her.

"I-I-I..."

"No, of you can't, you're only a simple minor character in this little film of mine." Ghostface continues to degrade her, and they can tell it's working. "You think you and the girls were able to get play this little scheme, and I wouldn't find out?"

The stranger knows, but how? Ethel glances around, feeling eyes staring at her from somewhere, but she can't tell how.

"Here's a little clue, that key you 'left' for Betty and Veronica? The one you thought was so well hidden?" Ghostface brings up in a taunting voice. "Yeah, well guess what, it's in my hands right now.

A chill goes down Ethel's spine, the caller is in the house. Then, before he realizes, the phone hangs up.

Someone appears behind her and hits her in the back of her skull, hitting her occipital lobe and making her lose consciousness....

Chuck wakes up, handcuffed to the hot tub. "What?" He utters, extremely confused. Veronica stands in front of him with her phone out and Betty towers over him with the remote that controls the temperature in her hand. "What the hell?"

"Start recording." Betty gives Veronica her cue as she hovers over their now captive. They now have him right where they want him.

"Hey guys, it's really hot in here." Chuck complains as he starts pulling on his handcuffs, unable to break free.

"And getting hotter by the minute." Betty adds as she raises the temperature. "Time to squeal pig tell us the truth about what happened between you and Veronica."

"We had a good time, she had a good time-"

"The truth Chuck!" Betty demands, not taking any bullshit from this guy. She raises the temperature again. "Or so help me, I will boil you alive."

"What?" Chuck mumbles before catching on. "We made out."

"And then?"

"And then I took her home." Chuck admits, confessing fairly easily. "And I didn't give her a sticky maple."

"That is all you had to say you ass!" Veronica swears at him before pressing the stop record so they can show this to the principal. "And now everyone will know."

Chuck sighs defeated but Betty isn't done quite yet. Ghostface slightly tilts the inside door open, watching the show. "You like shaming people, Chuck?" She angrily questions before pushing him down to the boiling waters.

"Woah, hey-"

"You like dehumanizing them?"

"Okay-"

"Christy Prude by day, freak in the sheets by night?" Betty presses her foot farther down as Chucky is unable to stop her from putting his head underwater.  Veronica is taken aback by Betty's aggressive behavior.

"Calm down-"

"Say you're sorry!" Betty demands. In the background, Ghostface tilts his head, curious about this hidden side of Betty he's never seen before.

"OKAY!" Chuck gives in, unable to take the water's increasing heat. "Okay! I'm sorry! I'm sorry for all of it."

"Good job pig! Now time for your reward." Betty says as she grabs a nearby maple syrup bottle and corks it open. "A sticky maple of your own."

"Wait, what?" Jason utters, what the heck is she-?

"Apologize, for ruining Polly." Betty demands the red-haired jock as she then pours it down onto Jason's head. "Do it Jason! Say your sorry for destroying me! Apologize for what you did to me!"

"Look, I'm not Jason!" The man screams as the maple syrup covers his face and hair. "I'm not Jason."

Make him pay, make him pay, MAKE HIM PAY, MAKE HIM PAY, MAKE HIM PAY!

"Betty, that is enough, stop!" Veronica shouts at her, shocked by what she's become.  Betty snaps out of it as Jason morphs back to Chuck and he winces at all the syrup he's now been covered in. "It's over, we did it! You did it!"

"You are crazy." Chuck exclaims at Betty, just wonder what the fuck kinda episode she just went through. "Oh my gosh, you're crazy as hell!"

"Betty...." Veronica voices staring at Betty.

"I'm fine." Betty replies, adjusting her wig, although Veronica takes it with a grain of salt. "We're done here."

Veronica shakes her head, deciding to just walk back inside where the living room is, where for some reason, the lights are all turned off. "Ethel?" She calls out for, but gets no response, she finds her way through the darkness to where the light switch should be... and finds Ethel on the ground, knocked out cold.

However, she fails to spot the figure sneaking behind her and going through the door she came in.

Betty's about to retrieve to the handcuffs, when she hears Veronica. "Betty!?" The girl screams and black-wig wearing girl turns around, only to meet Ghostface who punches her square in the eye. It's strong enough for her to black out.

Chuck watches, slightly scared as the killer then slowly turns to the jock when causes him to feel uneasy. Ghostface then brings up his voice changer. "Do you love de-humanizing me Chuck?" He speaks in Ethel's voice, perplexing him.

Then, Ghostface walks up and pulls out his knife....

"Betty?!" Veronica calls her name again after a dozen minutes, but instead hears a hum from her phone which she sees is a text from the unknown number.

Unknown: Betty isn't really about to respond right now -_-

The killer. Worried for her friend, Veronica runs into the pool room to see only Betty in the room, still knocked out from Ghostface's punch. Not only that, but Chuck is completely gone but her hand covers her mouth in horror.

She sees that the hot tub has been dyed a crimson red.

Riverdale Police Station:

"So let me get this straight." Sheriff Keller recounts the testimony that the girls have given him, leaving out Betty's crazy interaction with Chuck. "This person snuck in the house, caught two of you by surprise, then possibly killed Chuck Clayton and somehow managed to carry the captain of the football team outside without you seeing them?"

Veronica, Ethel, And Betty all glance at each other, the Cooper now wearing her usual blond hair and aesthetic. Now that he says it out loud, it's quite impressive how quick this person pulled all of that off. "Yeah, I guess."

"Well, that's just great..." Keller mutters, their killer just went in and out, disappearing like a ghost, at least according to the story of these three.

"Are we.... suspects, sheriff?" Betty hesitantly asks, and Keller gives them a professional look.

"I'd be lying if I said you weren't, given what happened between you and Chuck." Keller mentions honestly, but he then shrugs. "However, since there's no concrete evidence pointing you to the crime itself, you're all free to go. Just keep in mind you'll be under the police's eye from now on."

"Thank you, sheriff." Betty nods as the three stand up to leave the interrogation room. "We understand."

Keller nods as everyone else, Jughead, Archie, Y/N, and Kevin wait for them at the front. "Oh my gosh, you guys!" Kevin exclaims once he spots the two and everyone stands up. "We came as soon as we heard, what happened?"

Betty and Veronica share another glance. "I...." Betty hesitates, and everyone sees the mark Ghostface left on the girl.

"Betty, your eye." Archie points out, rubbing it just like she did his yesterday, only she doesn't pull back. "Are you okay?"

"She's fine." Veronica answers for her. "Seems like whoever snuck in didn't want to.... kill her." She guesses, hesitating with the strong k-word.

"Yeah, clearly someone wanted a much stronger kind of revenge against Chuck." Jughead remarks, it's the conclusion everyone's coming to, especially the police. "I guess that means your suspects right?"

"Yeah..." Ethel mutters, speaking after three hours. Archie scoffs, finding the idea Betty killing someone ridiculous.

"That isn't the only thing." Y/N then brings up, and everyone watches him pulling up his phone. "Someone posted the playbook on social media, and now everyone's pretty much screaming for the school to act."

Not only that, it's coming from Jason's account. "Holy shit..." Kevin swears out loud, upon seeing it. "Wait, why does everyone in the comments think it's Jason's ghost?"

"I have no idea." Y/N shrugs as he puts his phone back in his pocket. "But, although I'm sure we don't want to admit this, better this guy then you three, else the school staff might criticize you for 'insulting the dead' and not do anything."

"It gets worse I'm afraid." Jughead chimes in. "The teacher at Southside high, is also reported missing, along with his car. Sound familiar?"

The group all share a knowing look, if it's anything like Jason's case... too tired to want to worry about it they all decide to head home, although some offer to eat at Pop's before hitting the sack. Crazy day it's been.

Betty and Veronica, two sides of the same Janus coin. Given the unknown's post across the web, Weatherbee needed a sacrificial lamb, needed to make an example of someone. Only problem is, he couldn't. No one could figure out who posted the entire playbook online.

Y/N, mask off but still in costume, finally tosses Jason's phone in the trash, he won't need it anymore.

After constant pushing of the student body, the victims of Chuck Clayton, Coach Clayton, to save his job, to save the school's reputation was forced to cut the rest of the goon squad from the team. If Chuck was still around, maybe it would have brought deadly consequences. But since it was done in a horrible deed, it will go unpunished.

One thing was certain, Betty and Veronica, now B and V, and maybe forever, had been forged.

Y/N then tosses the playbook in the trash next, drenching the insides of the can with flammable liquid before tossing a lighter inside. He watches as everything inside burn and melts with a emotionless expression, tilting his head.

We crave absolutes, they comfort us, but life is infinitely more complex than that.

During everything, Jughead's interrogation has led him to figuring out that the gun fired on July Fourth was from an accident caused by Dilton Doiley, who was only teaching his boy scouts about survival.

"If you publish the story saying I fired that gun, my life will be ruined, I'll be banished from the adventure scouts and charged with a misdemeanor." Dilton mentions with a pleading tone. "So what if I have a better story? If I tell you what I know promise the gunshot stays between us."

The three all glance at each other, and Betty moves to stand in front of him. "You have our word, as a journalist." Betty promises with a assuring smile, Y/N focuses closely on what the boy scout says next.

"I saw something at Sweetwater River, something nobody else saw." Dilton reveals, almost as if he's waiting for some kind drum roll or music cue. "Miss Grundy's car, by the river's edge. She was there."

Despite all of our recent troubles, I would have done anything to protect Archie. But Dilton Doily had just opened pandora's box, and now there was nothing I could, or anyone could do to save him. Or in better words, what anyone could to do save the one he is attracted to.

Because that person was the killer's next target.

(A/N) And Episode three is done. I'm kinda glad I've made it this far given how long this could be.

Since I don't wanna go through the entire episode each time, I will stick mostly to whatever plotline Y/N finds himself in and stick with that. Also, I'm sure you don't wanna go through stuff your character has no part of.

Anyway, plz vote and comment, and I'll see you in the next episode.
