The silent screams and invisible scars
That fought with my mind.

Tell them i was a dreamer,
Believing in a future brighter than my past,
Hoping for a love that would heal,
And a peace that would last.
Don't tell them about the days I felt invisible,
Lost in the crowd, unheard, unseen,
The times I wished to disappear,
Yet yearned for someone to notice.
Tell them I was strong,
Stronger than I appeared,
A warrior in a battle unseen,
A survivor of the storms within.
