Roman's POV:

My shift was over at Prince's Palace, a pizza place. I was wearing my red cap to hide my dog ears and oversized blue jeans to hide my tail. I was walking home when I bumped into someone.

They had a grey beanie on, a grey sweater with purple patches and black jeans. "S-Sorry." They stuttered. "Hey, it's alright." I stuck out my hand. "I'm Roman, he/him pronouns." I said. They reluctantly shook my hand. "Virgil... He/him." He muttered.

I smiled. My ears twitched under my cap a little, but I ignored it. "Virgil, pretty name." He blushed a bit. "T-Thanks." He stuttered. I laughed a little. "Is it okay if I have your number?" I asked. He nodded and we swapped phones.

When he gave me my phone back I look at the contact name, 'Virgil💀'. I rolled my eyes and looked up. Virgil was nowhere in site. I shrugged it off and started to walk home again.

I opened the door and walked inside then shut the door. I took my cap off and scratched my ear. "Mom! Dad! I'm home!" I called out. "In the kitchen, sweetie!" I hear my mom call. I walk into the kitchen and see my mom and dad sitting at the table with smiles on their faces.

"What's the smiles for?" I questioned. My dad smiled wider. "We found you an apartment!" I stood there in shock. Slowly, a smile formed on my lips. "No way! What does it look like?" I asked. "Oh, it's beautiful! You'll be sharing it with three people, but I don't think you mind." My mom said.

I shook in place. I grasped both of them in a hug. "Thank you thank you thank you!" I said, bouncing. My dad chuckled and patted my arm. "You're welcome, son." I let them go, thanked them one last time, and ran off to my room. Once I got there my phone went off.

Me: Hello!

Virgil💀: how's it going?

Me: Pretty awesome, I finally found an apartment!!

Virgil💀: niiice

Me: Ikr?

Virgil💀: totally

Right after he sent that mom called me for dinner. I groaned. "Coming!" I yelled.

Me: Gtg, mom's calling!

Virgil💀: baiiii

I looked down at my phone and smiled. "Bye, Virgil..." I mumbled.

"ROMAN!"

"COMING!"
