Chapter Nineteen
It had been a week since the heist. While Dayton and his crew were nice to me, it just made me realize how much I miss Tyler and them.
Maybe not Evan, but definitely Tyler. Especially Tyler.
"What are you thinking about?"
I shook my head. "I just miss that group a little bit."
Dayton rolled his eyes. "They haven't even contacted me yet to get you, I don't know if that will ever happen."
I nodded. "Yeah, I know." I said quietly.
"And you know what, it's their loss." He pushed a strand of hair behind my ear. "They don't deserve a pretty girl like yourself."
I blushed. "Dayton..."
Before I could say anything else, I felt a pair of lips on my cheek. My eyes widened.
"Sorry." He said, seeing my reaction.
"It's fine." I breathed out. I didn't even realize I was holding my breath until then. I shook my head. "You're fine. I was just surprised, that's all."
"Well, if that's the case." Before I could question him, his lips collided with mine.
They were slightly chapped, but overall, soft. I couldn't help but compare him to Tyler.
Tyler's done. They don't even want you back. Just accept that you're going to be stuck with Dayton for the rest of this.
He pulled away and smiled at me. His dark eyes were the opposite of Tyler's, but they still held the same expression.
I couldn't help but smile back. It had been weeks since I had any sort of interaction like this with someone.
I missed it.
----- (When I do this, I'm going to change perspective. So now it's in third person instead of first. This is so I can change the POV without changing the POV, if that makes sense. It doesn't. Oh well.)
"I'm sorry, Tyler." Evan stated calmly. "I've done everything I can."
"That's bullshit and you know it!" Tyler yelled back. "You haven't even attempted to get into contact with Dayton to get her back!"
"They'd want something more valuable in return." Evan was eerily calm while Tyler was fuming. "It's been a week, anyway, so let it go."
"Is she not valuable to this gang?"
Evan shrugged. "She really only offered knife skills to the table, she couldn't even take me down."
Tyler rolled his eyes. "You didn't even give her a chance."
It was Evan's turn to roll his eyes. "If you're so bent on your little plaything, go rescue her yourself."
"She's not 'a little plaything', Evan. She's a human being her deserves as much as me to be a part of this gang."
"Tyler, I know how you are with girls. You get in their pants and you book it. You should be thanking me that I stopped it before you could break her heart."
Tyler shook his head. "Pip's not some random from the streets."
"She really is."
Tyler ignored his comment. "I'm going to go get her. I'm going to prove that she can be valuable."
He walked out of the room and started gathering supplies for the rescue mission.

SHORT CHAPTER IM SORRY.
ANYWAY, THE END IS NEAR WHICH IS HUGE FOR ME SINCE IVE NEVER ENDED A BOOK.
I always made the other person writing it end it instead of me.
Or I never finish it.
I don't like to end books, I'm the worst at it.
Anyway, I won't ramble on. I hope you're having an awesome day or night!
