Next Day:

Eren's thoughts were interrupted with a familiar cheerful voice.

"Hey there Eren. What are you doing out here again in the fountain?"

"Oh um I... I was bored so I came out here. And you?"

"Same. So you never told me your last name or if you came here with your family."

"Oh right. You can sit here besides me while we talk."

"Sure."she sat down besides Eren.

"Ok so my last name is Yeager but I recently moved in with my dad's other family, the Heichous. And what about you"

"My last name is Ackerman and I'm living here with my mom and dad but wait, y-your from the Heichou family?!"

"Yeah, why do you find it so shocking?"

"Just because I could never imagine you being related to Levi. He's way too mean to be your brother or, I mean your step-brother."

"Actually I just met my step family including my dad yesterday."

"So who did you live with before."he stiffened at that question and Mikasa noticed that.
"S-sorry I shouldn't have asked that cause it clearly made you uncomfortable."

"No it's fine you don't have to apologize I just have trouble thinking about my real family that cared for me a lot but I can still talk about it.  I used to live with my sister and mom. My sister was just going to enter college but we didn't have the money. Although she had told my mom many times it was fine if she didn't go, my mom kept telling her she would find a way. My theory on why I'm here is that my dad told my mom he would pay for college for my sister if I lived with him but that's just my guess so I'm not sure."

Mikasa sat there in shock of how smart Eren was in order to guess a theory like that.

"Earth to Mikasa, you ok?"

"Wow, your really smart."

"Haha you just met me." Eren started laughing.

"I know but you seem so smart." Mikasa smiled warmly at him and started giggling herself.

"And you seem so nice, I bet you are. You're the only one that has accepted me since I arrived here."

"Well of course I have accepted you cause we're friends, right?"Mikasa smiled at him

Eren was in shock because of the question. He had never had a true friend before.
"Yeah friends, forever." He smiled back.

They both smiled at eachother and laughed but little did they both know Levi was looking at them from his room, jealous of the new friendship. And so was Mrs.Heichou not getting why Eren was smiling when he had destroyed the whole Heichou family.
