When Mikasa and Eren got off the train they Eren started to look from side to side of the train station to see if his mom was there yet. He had known that his mother was going to be at the station around this time.

He looked and looked but didn't find her anywhere so he grabbed Mikasa's hand. Mikasa gasped and blushed slightly but not enough for Eren to see. He started walking fast around the station looking for his mom.

"E-Eren."

"Yeah?"

"How does your mom look like."

"Well she has golden brown hair. Beautiful bright brown eyes. A-and..." He started to stutter and break into tears.
Mikasa hugged him, tight.

She wanted to let him know she would always be there for him no matter what. Even hugged back and tried to stop himself from crying to not seem weak in front of mikasa. He lifted his face and mikasa wipes his tears gently with her thumb.

He stared, into her gorgeous eyes. Mikasa lowered her thumb and stared back. They both felt something. Something special in those few seconds. They didn't know what but they both felt a warm feeling in their hearts.

Sadly, this only lasted a while because as Eren was staring he saw a lady. Or more specifically, his mother.

He didn't even pay attention as he left mikasa and ran towards the women that he had been separated from for so long. She ran towards him. And in a split second it felt as if the whole world was perfect once again.

They hugged, the tightest you could ever imagine. Neither of them could hold back their tears that they had been hiding for so long. They let them out and the only thing on their minds was the there and then. Eren's mother pulled back and held eren's face as if it were a fragile piece of glass.

"Oh my god, look at you. You've grown into a young man!" She said with tears in her eyes.

"M- mom" Eren couldn't even speak from all the joy and excitement.

"I've missed you so much!" They both exclaimed with such happiness and joy.

They laughed. Never had mikasa seen people as happy as they were. "This is so beautiful" she thought to herself.

Eren turned around and remembered mikasa. He called her over with a wave of his arm motioning for her to go towards them.

Mikasa shook her head as she didn't want to disrupt their perfect family reunion. So eren decided to go towards where she was instead.

He took his mom's hand and motioned to where mikasa was. His mom smiled and nodded.

When they arrived to where mikasa was still seated, Eren said, "Mom, this is one of my only and best friends, Mikasa Ackerman. And mikasa, this is my mother, Karla Yeager."

They both smiled and shook hands.
"Well mikasa thanks so much for being there for my son and for being his friend." She punched Eren's cheeks with adoration.

"Mom! Stop!" He exclaimed and pushed her hands away softly but while laughing. His mom and Mikasa giggled.

"Well, it's really nice to finally meet you, Mrs.Yeager." Mikasa said with a smile.

"The pleasure is mine, Mikasa." Said Mrs.Yeager.

They talked for a while but not long after, they heard someone call Karlas name. She turned her head and there was the Heichou's butler.

She nodded and Eren asked with fear of being seperated from his mother again, "Mom, what's he doing here??"

"I'm sorry son, you have to go."she said with hurt and guilt in her eyes.

"But mom! I'm not leaving I want to stay with you and only you!" He he exclaimed as they both stood up and he latched to her side, hugging her tight.

"Eren, come now." The butler said with little patience.

"No! I'm staying with my mother! And you can't make me go!"

"Eren..." said his mother. He looked towards her with tears in his eyes but not happy tears this time but instead tears of hurt, sadness and loneliness which was how he felt with the Heichou's.
"I'm the one that called him."

"B-But mom you wouldn't do that, you love me." He said sadly, hoping she would say the words just kidding soon.

"No listen Eren, I don't want you with me. you have to go, NOW."she said. Eren slowly detached from his mother and looked towards where the butler was.

"B-But mom-"

"Eren go! I don't want you with me. You're just a distraction and I can't make any money while taking care of you so leave, now."

Eren lowered his gaze and looked over towards where the butler was. He slowly looked away from his mom. Not with a smile on his face anymore.

"Come on Mikasa." He said lowly as he held his hand out for hers. She held his and Mikasa looked back towards his mother slowly. She noticed the pain and hurt in her eyes. Mikasa knew that his mother didn't really want to leave him. "There must be more to this story." She thought to herself.

She looked forward and smiled for Eren. They got in the car. He didn't say anything the whole way home and stared out the window holding back tears and thinking to himself, "Why does no one love me?"
