Your TV show was so successful, the whole crew on set were told to take this year a break to improve their skills, to hopefully top the upcoming season.
The actors have been on many conventions, and meanwhile some of them managed even another project, for example you. The BBC asked you to participate in a historical drama and luckily you could do it. On set you were introduced to Jane Hales. The young blonde woman shared the story how she managed to get the role of the sidekick in the upcoming season. She talked nonstop about her boyfriend she just got. She was not a bad person, just having an annoying character.

"Oh my (y/n), I am so nervous. What should I wear for our first day on set tomorrow? I don't want to be overdressed.",  Jane texted you the night before. You already regret showing the slightest kind of interest. You simply did not answer instead you just stared at your ceiling. It was the same hotel, the same room, where you arrived about two years ago.
Almost everything was the same.

"Oh hey good morning!" Thomas hugged you tightly.
"Do you got your hair cut? Or what is different with you?"
You chuckled, it was so pleasant to work again with him again.
"I've been on vacation recently and maybe it got slightly brighter but whatever. How's it going?"
He turned around and waved at Lizzy.
She hugged you as well. "Good to see you again, honey. Has Thomy told you the big news? I am ... engaged! To the Liam, the son of Benjamin. Weird, I know, but it had happened the day after our last party together. I met him on set, he was picking up his dad, and me as well." Her tanned cheeks got rosy.
But why did she told you that?
"I met Lizzy at a Podcast again and we had some drinks afterwards. (Y/n), you cannot imagine what she told me!"
She interrupted him super excited: "Richard has a girlfriend! Yeah I know! I just wanted to warn you just in case there's still something between you... guys."
That was a bit to fast for you and you were about to stutter: "What do you mean-"
"-Your last night did not end well? Oh I am sorry but, never mind, in this case it may be confusing anyway."
"Stop. Stop. What night?", now Thomas was surprised. You shrugged and looked at Lizzy. She looked at both of you like you were crazy.
"Well, um. You and Richard spend the night together?", you were still confused "I mean the whole crew have seen that things were heating up and after you and Thomas left, Richard wasn't seen this night as well. Obviously you and Richard met because the tension of him at the morning after was kind of intense..."
Your jaw dropped.
"Intense... ?" Thomas touched his stubbled chin. "Lizz, just to make things clear, a man spend the night with (y/n) but it was me. I looked after the completely drunken lady."
You rolled your eyes. "Wait, so in conclusion officially Richard and I-"
"-had Sex. Yes, honey."
Oh hell no. Rumors are horrible in general but this is just hilarious. Should you share it with Richard? No, not the best idea. Maybe he is not so pleased with you at all. After all he had not called you after the fight and you have not cleared the last rumor up. Hopefully they would just shut up about you and your love-life.

The studio you was starting getting ready for the day. The backdrop got some touch ups. The grey steel walls were hidden beneath the cameras and audio equipment. The crew was busy following the commands of different instructors. Benjamin had ordered a dozen new workers for each section. Therefore it was quite confusing for each one.
„Just for reference, I would never date any actor of the set and, no offense, but if I had to, Richard Armitage would be the very last."

You heard a familiar sound behind your back. The fine clicking of high heels accompanied by the bubbly voice of a young lady.
„Hi, (y/n), are those your friends?" It was Jane. On top perfect curled hair a large yellow hat was placed. Her appearance was always stylish but often overdressed because usually you have to wear something completely different on set anyway.
She twisted a red curl around her finger.
„Have you seen my boyfriend? He's tall, handsome a real gentleman and ... oh right there!" You and your squad turned around and guess who the particular one was.
„Rich, come over we were just talking about you!"
He came across the room and found a spot between you and Jane.
„It's great to see you again.", he was looking at Thomas and Lizzy „I heard you got engaged? Congratulations!"
„Let's see who's next, hm?", Thomas eyeballed the new couple.
You were to triggered to even say Hi. Richard was the boyfriend? Urgh, your mind vomited. You had enough of „oh he's so hot and he's the best" for the last few months.
„We can chat later again. Maybe you could show me the town (y/n)? Richard is to busy studying his role to show me anything. Would you mind?"
Before you had the chance to answer Richard responded neat: „I think (y/n) should practice, as well." He could not even  managed to look you directly at your face. Was he still so uncomfortable a year after your dispute?
„I can show you some places. I don't have any text to study." Lizzy poked your side.
They continued the small talk but you and Richard had to leave.

Just far enough you stopped behind one of the green screens and inquired about him staying for just a second.
„Hey Richard... I would like to solve this messy thing between us a bit. The people are talking. It's rumored that you spend the last night of the season with me, however, we know that this is a lie. I am not even sure why people would think that we would consider fucking just after a few drinks. I am really sorry how the party ended and said acted childish. It's-"
„Please stop", he beamed. „First of all, it's just logical to ship main characters and I maybe really had some slight feelings. Everything is okay, really, even Jane is fascinated of you,"
You gulped surprised of his confidence  telling you this.
„I really appreciate your amazing acting. You, as a partner on set, is a pleasant experience. Oh, I was such a jerk."
„No I was the jerk."
The vibrations of his laughter touched a soft spot inside you.
„Well, yeah you were really naughty... - Friends, again?", Richard's smile was so innocent. But full of lies as you would find out very soon.

You two sat next to each other while the makeup-team was doing their job perfectly.
Lizzy entered the messy room. The tables were full of sponges, brushes and uncountable amount of colors and wigs.
„Hey Lizzy," Richard recognized her without opening his eyes. „by the way, how's Liam?"
She squeezed his hand instead of hugging and ruining the whole transformation her coworkers had achieved after an hour. Richard was back again with his long raven hair and his scratched face. He was Rhin again.
„He's alright. Trying to manage the paperwork for Benjamin.", the other make-up-gurus had left the room.
„Your girlfriend is really... sweet.", the beauty added.
Richard was cracking his knuckles talking about her. „Yes, she is indeed. Jane and you worked together, right?" Now he was facing you.
You just nodded.
„Okay guys have fun and I'll see you later."
The door was shut and you walked to the scenery.
„I've seen your movie, (y/n). You did a pretty convincing job. I really hated your role." You both giggled.
"Come, we don't want them to wait any longer. They may talk but we know the truth." And you weren't sure if he winked at you or if you just imagine it.
