    Stella was standing face to face with her dream school: Sakura High. She hadn't even stepped foot through the gates but could already feel the excitement rushing through her veins. It was the first day and she was already very much prepared. She was wearing her uniform and had her suitcase in hand. She looked around for a bit without moving to take in the scenery. She then took a step forward about to enter the gates and—

Stella's Bedroom
11:15 AM

    *BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!* The sound of an alarm clock could be heard as Stella groaned to turn it off. "Ugh, what time is it?" Stella asked while reaching for her phone while still half-asleep. "11:15 AM?!" She said in shock before sitting up on her bed. "I need to get ready quickly! I don't want to be late!" She rushed out of bed before putting her slippers on to head to the bathroom. She had 45 minutes left before she would be in the air, and on her way to Japan.

    Jung Stella, currently 15 and about to be late for her flight to attend a prestigious boarding school, Sakura High! Her brother is currently attending the school and finally, after a year of hard work, she will be following as well. Sakura High is known to be the top International school there is and only the best of the best could get in. She had to convince her parents to let her apply and if she was late they would regret letting her go.

    Stella was getting ready in the bathroom and thinking about how this was the chance of a lifetime and she couldn't pass it up. She was nervous but she knew that her brother would be there as well to support her. She looked up at her bathroom mirror and thought for a second. 'I got this! It may be a new place with new people, but I can do this!' She thought about trying to pump herself up so that she wouldn't be so nervous about a new school. She finished up in the bathroom and headed back to her room.

    "Ok! All done!" Stella said before looking at her clock which read 11:30 AM. She had no time to do her whole routine and also had to put on the first things she saw, if she didn't she wouldn't be able to make it in time. "And just in time as well!" She then hurried out the door with her suitcase to head to the airport.

Toudu Enterprise, London
11:20 AM

    There was currently a meeting going on discussing a business deal. Hibiki was sitting in for his Father who had to be somewhere else. He was tapping his fingers on the desk thinking about something while checking the time. He was getting impatient and wanted the meeting to end so that he could make his flight. "Now that, that is settled what do you say Mr. Toudu?" Someone had said which made him look up.

    "Since we're all in agreement, let's do it." Hibiki said, folding his hands and looking up at them. Hibiki Toudu, currently 16, is the son of a wealthy businessman who runs Toudu Enterprise. Toudu Enterprise has many headquarters across the world, including in London, Tokyo, Seoul, and The United States. Hibiki is also a second-year at Sakura High and one of the most well-known students. But he is currently in London attending a meeting in his father's place.

    The meeting soon drew to a close and Hibiki stood up causing everyone else in the room to stand as well. "Now, I have a plane to catch. I wish you all well." He said before bowing and leaving the room. He was on the top floor and had to head to the bottom. Once he was at the bottom he was handed his suitcase before leaving the building and getting in a car to the airport.

    "Are you sure you have everything?" Stella's mother was nagging her daughter, worried for her safety. Patting her head, shoulders, and even her pockets. Her husband was trying to pull her away but had given up as there was no use in trying to. She then took a deep breath before speaking once again. "I'm just worried about you, Japan is a new unfamiliar place for you and I just want to make sure you are alright."

    "Don't worry Mom, I have everything I need," Stella said, patting her suitcase and reassuring her mother. "Besides, Ren will be there as well and he will be picking me up at the airport so there's no need to worry." Stella then gave one last hug to both of her parents. "I'm going to miss you." She said before taking her suitcase and walking towards the boarding gate. She noticed someone walk by with a strong aura but shook it off and continued on her way.

    Hibiki had just arrived at the airport, got out of the car, and hurried to get his ticket checked. The company was a bit far so he was close to being late and had to hurry. He checked his watch to ensure he still had time and had 8 minutes left. He then grabbed his suitcase and headed to a boarding gate passing by a family that he thought looked familiar but ignored it and continued on his way.

11:55 AM

    "FLIGHT BA007! May all passengers please be seated for takeoff! Next stop, Tokyo, Japan!" Stella heard over the intercom before quickly putting her suitcase above her seat and sitting down buckling her seatbelt. It was going to be a long flight with no layover so she knew the best idea would be to take a nap. She was super excited but couldn't help but feel nervous as well but knew it would be gone after she got to Japan.

1:45 AM???

    Stella had just woken up from her nap 15 minutes ago and was looking out the window in awe. She could already see Tokyo and she was amazed by its beauty but was confused at why the sun was already up. She had searched beforehand that it would be a 13-hour and 50-minute flight since there would be no layover. The flight took off at 12:00 PM so to her calculations it should be around 1:40 AM currently.

    Stella checked her phone to see what the time was currently to make sure that she wasn't going crazy. When checking her phone she realized that the time was 9:47 AM, not 1:47 AM. "Wait..." She said thinking for a bit before lightly hitting her forehead in realization. "Stupid time zone differences." She said forgetting that Tokyo was 8 hours ahead of London. 'No wonder why Ren agreed to pick me up.' She thought, realizing that it all made sense and he wouldn't have agreed otherwise.

On A Plane
9:48 AM

    "ALL PASSENGERS, please buckle your seatbelts and get ready for landing!" A voice said from the intercom. Soon the plane was pulling up to the boarding gates. "I hope you all had a nice flight and please enjoy your stay here in Japan and make sure to be careful on your way out!" The voice said over the intercom causing the passengers to all unbuckle their seatbelts and start to head off the plane.

    Stella opened the cupboard that was above her seat and was struggling to get her suitcase as she realized that she had pushed it too far back. She wasn't able to reach the handle quite so much and had to stand on her tippy toes to try and get it. She then noticed a hand reaching in front of her grabbing her suitcase for her and handing it to her. "Here you go." Stella noticed it was a man who looked around her age and he had a smile on his face. Before she could say anything he had turned around and left. Leaving her standing in awe and speechless but with a smile on her face, before she two headed off the plane.

Tokyo Airport
9:50 AM

    Ren was leaning against a pole near the airport entrance looking down at his phone waiting to pick up his sister. He had arrived at the airport about 30 minutes prior and took the time to get some food and was currently holding the bag. He knew she would be getting off anytime now and didn't want to take a seat just to have to get up again a second later. So he was killing time by playing a random game he found on an ad and thought it would be interesting.

    Jung Lorenzo goes by Ren and is the older brother of Stella whom she has not seen for a little over a year now. He is currently 16 and in his second year at Sakura High like Hibiki. He is very protective of his sister and even though he hasn't seen her in person for a little over a year, he tries his best to call every day to check up on her. Even making time to pick her up from the airport first thing in the morning even if that meant he had to get up early.

    He texted Stella that he was near the front entrance for her to meet him. Once Stella got to the entrance she looked around to see if she could spot her brother. Ren noticed and waved over at her. "Stella! Over here!" He called out which made her notice and she walked over towards him with her suitcase. "Is this really my little sister?" He said once she had walked over while patting her head. "Did you get taller?" He teased continuing to pat her head.

    Stella pouted, she had just arrived and her brother was already teasing her. "I don't know? Are you really my brother?" She teased back while removing his hand from her head. "For all I know you could just be an impersonator in the place of my brother." She said, turning her back towards him and shrugging. "I did, not see you for over a year." She said turning a bit to the side while folding her arm and shaking her head.

    "Fine, fine I'll stop with the tease." Ren said, closing his eyes and pinching the top of his nose, sighing. He then opened his eyes and noticed his sister fully facing him while sticking her tongue out and winking. He knew that she was purposely trying to annoy him by teasing her. 'Why did she have to take after me so much?' He thought, sighing and shaking his head in regret. He then noticed Hibiki near the entrance and waved over. "Ohayō Hibiki! Kotchida yo! (TRANS: Good morning Hibiki! Over Here!)" Stella was a bit confused as she hadn't learned Japanese yet.

    Hibiki noticed and walked over to the two. "Ohayōgozaimasu, koreha daredesuka? (TRANS: Good morning, and who is this?)" Hibiki had said to Ren while Stella stood there in confusion and felt awkward. For some reason, Hibiki looked familiar and then it hit her that he was the one who had helped her get her suitcase before heading here.

    "Kore wa watashi no imōtodesu, kanojo wa mada nihongo o benkyō shite imasen. (TRANS: This is my sister, and she hasn't learned Japanese yet.)" Ren said to Hibiki who nodded in understanding. Hibiki then took a closer look at Stella, putting a finger on his chin and thinking for a second. This made Stella's sweatdrop as she was nervous about what he would say.

    "Oh, you're the girl who needed help getting your suitcase, right?" Hibiki asked with a slight chuckle but smiling at her which made her eyes widen. He was looking at her bending forward a bit so that he could get a closer look. After he had said that she quickly put one of her hands over his mouth and a finger over hers, motioning for him to be quiet.

    This caused Ren to break out into laughter. "You" "had" "to get" "help" "getting" "your suitcase?" Ren said between laughs which made Stella get mad. "I didn't realize my sister was so short." He added before his laughing calmed and before he knew if he had gotten kicked in the leg by Stella.

    "I'm not that short, you giant!" Stella said back at him after kicking him. She was getting pissed and impatient and folded her arms once again. "Shouldn't we be heading to the dorms now? It's already past 10:30." She added while tapping on her wrist which didn't have a watch but she knew they got the idea.

    "Perfect timing, The cab should be getting here just now then." Ren said before taking Stella's bag and heading outside to the cab with her and Hibiki. Hibiki put his suitcase in the trunk while Ren put Stella's there as well and the three go into the cab. Ren sat in the middle with Hibiki on his left and Stella on his right. "Sakura kōkō no minasan, yoroshikuonegaishimasu. (TRANS: To Sakura High please and thank you.)" Ren said to the cab driver who nodded and took off.

Sakura High

    Stella, Ren, and Hibiki soon arrived in front of Sakura High. Ren had given Stella the bag of food that he bought while they were in the cab so that she had something to eat. Ren and Hibiki got the suitcases out of the trunk of the cab before it drove away. Stella stood in front of the school in awe and was speechless. She had dreamed of this moment but couldn't believe that she was finally here after all this time. Hibiki turned to Ren and motioned his head towards the school campus signaling for them to walk in.

    Once the three started walking onto the campus Hibiki and Ren started heading toward the dorms with Stella following closely behind. Once they reached the dorms Stella noticed that there were two separate dormitories and they both had different labels. The Dragons dormitory and the Phoenix dormitory, which made her wonder what it meant, especially since it was the first time she could read something since arriving in Japan. "Why are the dorms labeled Dragon and Phoenix?" Stella asked out of curiosity.

    Ren and Hibiki looked at one another before and Hibiki shook his head before they turned to look at Stella once again. "It's just the name of the dorms, Phoenix are the girl dorms while Dragons are the boys." Hibiki explained, though to Stella it looked like they were trying to hide something from her. "Anyways we would head up with you to help unpack, but we promised to meet up with our roommates when I got here. Your dorm number should be in an email you got." Hibiki said to Stella as Ren handed her her suitcase and she nodded. Stella then watched as Hibiki and Ren left to go into the Dragon's dorm before she went into the Phoenix dorm.

Phoenix Dorm Room 307

    Yozora was currently in the room unpacking, she had arrived a bit earlier than her dormmates as she heard that they were coming from different parts of the world. She was a bit worried about how they would communicate with each other if they didn't all speak Japanese. The room was sort of like a suit style since it had 2 rooms with 2 beds each and a bathroom connected to the suit itself as well as a living room area. Yozora had decorated the living room a bit but wasn't 100% sure if her dormmates would like it as well.

    Yozora Kaneko is currently 16 and a first-year attending Sakura High. She is excited to be going to a new school and meeting new people. She is very open-minded and likes to experience new things, Even though she is from Osaka which isn't that far from Tokyo it seems like a new place to her. This is her first time being outside of Osaka, Japan since living there all her life. She grew up helping out the people around her and even started working at a young age and taking care of her younger siblings. Even though she was worried about leaving them, they convinced her to attend high school here in Tokyo.

    There was soon a knock on the door and Yozora went to open it, hoping that it was one of her dormmates. Stella entered the room with her suitcase and quickly scanned the room before turning and facing Yozora. "Hello, I'm Stella." Stella said bowing politely since she learned that bowing was the most common gesture when greeting. She was surprised that the room was empty at the moment since she had thought that others would already be there. "Um, is it just the two of us?" Stella asked in curiosity while holding up 2 fingers.

    "Kon'nichiwa, Yozoradesu! (TRANS: Hello, I am Yozora!)" Yozora said slowly so that Stella could understand better since she noticed that Stella may not know Japanese. Yozora then thought for a second trying to make out what Stella asked her. "Ā! Īe, watashitachi wa yon-ridesu. (TRANS: Ohhh! No, there are four of us.) Yozora said very slowly while holding up 4 fingers and motioning at Stella.

    "Ah! I see, I see." Stella said, nodding in understanding. "Are you a first-year or a second-year?" Stella asked showing 1 finger and then 2 fingers right after and did that a couple of times to see if Yozora understood. Stella was taking mental notes of what people say in Japanese so that she could slowly learn and hoped that by Monday she would know enough Japanese for classes.

    "Watashitachiha zen'in ichi-nenseidesu. (TRANS: We are all first-years.)" Yozora said slowly, understanding what Stella was trying to say while making a circular motion with her finger and then putting 1 finger up. The language barrier was a challenge but they thought that as long as they understand what the other is trying to say it'll be fine. Stella was also hoping that her roommates and even her brother could help her learn.

Dragon Dorm Room 525

    Ren and Hibiki finally got to their dorm after Ren was stalling them for a bit which made Hibiki a bit annoyed. When they walked into the room Nozomu, Klaus, and Taehyung were in the room and set off confetti tubes. "Welcome back Hibiki!" They all said in unison with a banner that read 'WELCOME BACK!!!' that dropped behind them. They were excited to have him back but it seemed like they were trying to hide something.

    Hibiki nodded and dropped his suitcase in his room before coming back out. He went over to the couch crossing his arms before looking at the guys with a sigh. "OK, what did you do while I was away?" He asked knowing that they were trying to hide something. They all looked at one another, not sure who should speak first. "Don't all talk at once." Hibiki added, rolling his eyes.

    "Well, you see it's actually a funny story." Nozomu was the first to speak while he was fake laughing. Nozomu Hayashi is currently 16 years old and is in his second year like the rest of the guys. He isn't usually one for trouble and is more often the one who fixes problems than causes them. He is from Kyoto, Japan but thanks to his dormmates he has learned English. "It all happened right after you left." He added before nudging Taehyung to speak next.

    "You see Haru had bought a few gadgets and wanted to test them out but the field was off-limits due to construction." Taehyung started to explain while the other four nodded. Kim Tae-hyung is currently 16 and is from Busan, South Korea. He learned English thanks to Hibiki letting him tag along with him to London. Taehyung is usually one to go with the flow no matter what. "That's why Haru isn't here right now." Taehyung added, pointing out the obvious.

    "So we flew a drone in here and were playing pass with a ball and we accidentally broke a window." Klaus told Hibiki, who was listening in disappointment. Niklaus Hughes goes by Klaus and is currently 16. He is from Warwick, a town located in England. He isn't the best at Japanese which is why the guys usually speak English in the dorms. "So we called maintenance to come and fix it but it wasn't done until not too long ago so we had Ren stall. But we didn't realize that they would deduct money from your account." Klaus added, finishing the story for them.

    "That explains why I got a notification about 44,000¥ (297.67$) being deducted from my account." Hibiki said while interlocking his hands on the table in front of him and looking up at the four guys, which made their sweat drop. "Now, what are you going to do to pay me back the money?" Hibiki asked, raising an eyebrow and waiting for one of them to speak.

    "How about we buy you whatever you want at the convenience store nearby and we'll do whatever you want for the whole month?" Ren asked while Nozomu, Taehyung, and Klaus nodded in agreement. Hibiki thought for a bit then smiled which made the other guys smile in relief knowing that he agreed. The room the guys had was the biggest room on campus, having 6 separate rooms for each guy and 2 bathrooms for them all to share. It gave each of the guys a lot of space to decorate however they liked.

Phoenix Dorm Room 307

    Stella got settled into the dorms and noticed that Yozora was her roommate which made her relieved that Yozora was the first one she met. Their other 2 dormmates hadn't arrived yet so the 2 were playing some games to pass the time. Yozora was about to move a piece when they heard a knock at the door so she went to open it. She saw Nina standing at the door with a suitcase in hand and invited her in.

    "Nǐ hǎo, wǒ shì nī nà. (TRANS: Hello, I am Nina.)" Nina said then quickly corrected herself. "Matte, iya, tsumari. Kon'nichiwa, Nīnadesu. (TRANS: Wait, no, I mean. Hello, I am Nina.)" She fixed it while pausing between the first few words and bowing while greeting herself. Nina Lai, currently 15 is from Taiwan and had taught herself Japanese a few weeks prior. She is a very quick learner and is known as a prodigy which is why the school had invited her to attend. One thing she always enjoys is learning something new.

    "Nihongo o hanasemasu ka? (TRANS: You can speak Japanese?)" Yozora asked and Nina nodded, confirming that she did. "Watashi wa yozora, kochira wa Suteradesu. Kanojo wa mada nihongo o shirimasenga, eigo o hanashimasu. (TRANS: I am Yozora and this is Stella. She does not know Japanese yet, but she speaks English.)" Yozora explained to Nina hoping that she might be able to help with the language barrier.

    Nina was nodding in understanding and was thinking about something then had an idea. "Ā! Kore wa dō? (TRANS: Ah! How about this?)" Nina asked after bringing up something on her phone and showing it to the girls. "Imanotokoro kore o tsukatte tsūshin dekimasu." Nina said, speaking into her phone. "We can use this to communicate for now." Her phone spoke back to the girls. "Moshi yokattara, apuri o daunrōdo shite mo īdesu ka? (TRANS: I can download the app for you guys if you want?)" Nina asked and her phone translated for Stella to understand.

    Stella and Yozora nodded in agreement and gave their phones to Nina so that she could download the app for them. There was then a knock at the door and when they turned to look they noticed that they had left the door open. Reina was standing at the door. "Musume-san-tachi wa jikai wa doa o shimeta kata ga yoi to omoimasu. (TRANS: I think you girls may want to close the door next time.)" Reina said while pointing at the door before walking in.

    "I'm Reina." Reina said, putting her suitcase next to the couch and looking up at them. "And don't worry about introducing yourselves. I heard the whole conversation. Jiko shōkai ni tsuite wa shinpaishinaide kudasai. Kaiwa wa subete kikoemashita. Ō! Soshite watashi wa eigo o hanashimasu. (TRANS: Oh! And I speak English)" Reina added while the other three stood in shock that she could speak both Japanese and English.

    Reina Phiseux is currently 15 and is from Thailand but grew up in The United States. She has come to Japan a couple of times before so she has picked up the language. She doesn't have an exact reason why she is attending the school but she is willing to try anything at least once. She isn't much into rules and prefers to do her own thing even if she may get in trouble for it. But all in all, Reina is one of the best leaders there is, as she can make anyone listen to her and she is very persuasive.

    "Now, how about we worry about unpacking later and go get some food? Sate, kaikon no koto wa atode shinpai shite, tabemono o kai ni iku no wa dōdesu ka?" Reina asked the girls since she was hungry herself. She also thought it would be a good way for them to get to know one another. The girls thought for a bit about what they wanted to do.

Convenience Store Near Sakura High

    The guys had all bought something and instead of them paying for it Hibiki had offered to pay. They all sat down at a table in the store and were eating what they each had gotten. "Why didn't you tell my sister about the whole thing?" Ren asked Hibiki in curiosity since all that they mentioned to Stella was about dorm names. "You know she hasn't been a kid for a while now, and she does go to this school now." Ren added while raising an eyebrow while Klaus, Taehyung, and Nozomu looked up at him.

    "She'll find out eventually, but it's best not to mention anything yet, especially since it's not even the first day and the Phoenix don't have a leader yet." Hibiki said while he stopped eating and put his fork down, crossing his arms and looking at the 4 guys. "Also it's not my decision to decide, it's the schools, they make all the final decisions." Hibiki added with a sigh that made Ren understand.

    "Oh, is she the sister that you're always mentioning?" Taehyung asked Ren who nodded which made Taehyung think for a second. "I'm guessing Principal Watanabe will invite her to compete then since she makes a lot of siblings compete especially if they get high scores." Taehyung added, which made them all worried. With school starting soon that just means that there is a week before competitions begin and the real important stuff happens.

A Small Cafe In Tokyo Near Sakura High

    The girls had all agreed to get something to eat at a cafe that was close to the school. They were using the app Nina had to be able to communicate with one another so that Reina wouldn't have to translate everything for them. They were enjoying the evening to the fullest and found out a lot about one another including their birthdays and where they were from or where they grew up. Yozora, Nina, and Reina all agreed to try their best to teach Stella as much Japanese as they could before Monday. They all also agreed to clean up and decorate the dorm once they got back. They had a feeling that it would be a fun year and there would be so much awaiting them.
