I got out of bed and walked to the bathroom. I showered and washed my hair. I blow dried my hair and curled it into cute beach waves. I got dressed and looked in the mirror.

     I looked pretty cute. I went downstairs and saw Miro waiting in his car for me. I smiled and got in the passenger's seat. 

     "Happy birthday!" I said with a smile.

     "Thanks, you look gorgeous," He said smiling as we pulled out onto the road. 

     "Thanks," I said giggling.

     "Alright, we're going to go get lunch at a place I think you will love!" He said. 

      "Ooh, ok," I said. He smiled and we talked the whole way there. When we got there we walked inside. It was a cute little cafe. I smiled as we walked inside. We ordered some delicious sounding food and began to talk.

     "So, how does it feel being in your 20's?" I asked smiling. I was still eighteen. My birthday was October sixth.

      "It's not as great as people make it out to be. I feel like it will be different when I turn twenty-one. Since I can drink at that age here. I had a drink once in Finland before I moved here since the legal drinking age in Finland is eighteen," He said.

      "What drink was it?" I asked.

      "It was just some vodka," He said.

      "Was it any good?" I asked.

      "It wasn't bad. I'll probably try some other drinks when I turn twenty-one," He said. We continued talking for a while and after lunch we went to my hotel. We went up to my room where I had his present. When we got to my room I sat him on my bed. I made him close his eyes as I went to get the present out of my bag. I pulled out a set of five custom hockey sticks. They all had his last name on the shaft of the stick. I handed them to him and kissed him on the forehead. He opened his eyes and smiled. He looked down at the sticks and smiled. They looked really cool. He turned them over in his hands. 

     "These are so cool!" He said looking up at me.

     "I knew you would love them," I smiled and hugged him. He turned his head and kissed my cheek. I giggled and we sat on the bed talking. As we were talking I looked up at him and smiled.

      "I love you," I said.

      "I-I love you too," He said smiling down at me. I leaned up and kissed him softly. He gently pulled me onto him. I blushed and continued to kiss him. He held me tightly. 

      "You're amazing," He said. 

      "You have no idea," I smiled looking at him.

      "This has been the best birthday ever," He said.
