After helping Rohan with his studies, Shanaya returned to her dorm only to see Rhea lying on her bed, waiting for her. 

"Look who finally showed their face" Rhea teased, making Shanaya roll her eyes. 

"Look whose here and not with her boyfriend" Shanaya teased back, this time making Rhea roll her eyes. 

"Yours truly" Rhea said, making Shanaya laugh, "Forget all that and tell me where the hell were you, even Abhi had no idea where you were, I thought you got kidnapped or something".

"You asked Abhi?" Shanaya asked worried, she was worried how Abhi would react once he finds out she was with Rohan, he would lose his shit.

"Well yeah, you won't answering my calls so I got worried, so I called Abhi thinking you were with him, but turns out he didn't know where you were either, so spill where were you?" Rhea asked curious.

"I was with Rohan" Shanaya said, not looking towards Rhea, scared of her reaction.

"You were with who now?" Rhea asked, not sure if she heard Shanaya right.

"I was with Rohan, helping him study for the exams starting tomorrow".

"But where?" Rhea asked, "Abhi checked the library and you won't there".

"We weren't at the library" Shanaya replied.

"So where were you?" Rhea asked impatiently, Rhea wanted all the details on the outing of the bad boy and the good girl.

"Rocky Cafe" Shanaya said, shocking Rhea.

"You and Rohan were alone at Rocky Cafe?" Rhea asked, Shanaya nodded in response, "Why not just study at the library?".

"According to Rohan, he can't study at a library its too boring" Shanaya said, smiling at the memory.

"Oh God" Rhea said, "Abhi is going to freak out".

"Why would Abhi freak out?" Shanaya asked, confused, "He knew I was going to help Rohan study, we had that conversation right infront of him".

"But he didn't know you and Rohan would have a study date at Rocky Cafe".

"It wasn't a date" Shanaya said, remembering she forgot to ask Rohan why he said it was a date, "I was seriously just helping Rohan so he can go to Thailand, thats it nothing else".

"Doesn't seem like nothing" Rhea said, raising her eyebrows.

"It is nothing Rhea" Shanaya stated, "Also about Abhi freaking out, I made it clear to both Abhi and Rohan that they need to keep me out of their rivalry, just because Abhi hates Rohan doesn't mean I will stay away from him, its as simple as that, I won't be breaking my friendship with one for another".

"But what if Abhi tells you to end your friendship with Rohan?".

"My answer will be no".

"But Abhi is your best friend, you have known him since your childhood".

"Exactly Rhea" Shanaya said, "Abhi has known me since my childhood, he knows I don't break friendships, he should know never to tell me to break my friendship with anyone, even if the guy is Rohan".

"Thats true" Rhea stated, "But I think Abhi might get a little insecure with your closeness with Rohan".

"Why would he get insecure?" Shanaya asked, confused, "There's legit nothing to be insecure about".

"Your so oblivious Shanaya Singhania" Rhea said, smiling at Shanaya's oblivious.

"Oblivious about what?" Shanaya asked confused.

"Nothing" Rhea said, shaking her head, "Go freshen up and then let's have a Disney marathon, I think you've done enough studying for today".

"I agree with that" Shanaya said, going into the bathroom.

"Your so oblivious to Abhi's feelings for you Shanaya, but not only that your also oblivious to Rohan's attraction towards you, the good boy and the bad boy chasing after the nerd, the biggest cliche of all time, I have never really liked Rohan, and call me a bad friend, but when it comes to whose going to steal the nerds heart, my bets on the bad boy".

Shanaya comes out of the bathroom expecting to see Rhea setting up for their Disney marathon, but instead she saw Abhi sitting on her bed with a blank expression on his face and Rhea no where to be seen. 

"Abhi when did you come?" Shanaya asked, confused as to why was Abhi sitting on her bed with such a expression, "And where's Rhea, I thought we were having a Disney marathon".

"Rajat took her with him" Abhi said coldly, standing up. 

"Oh" Shanaya said, flinching at Abhi's cold tone, "Well me and you can have a Disney marathon instead". 

"Me?" Abhi asked, staring at Shanaya, anger clearly shown in his eyes, "You sure you don't want Rohan to come instead?".

"Rohan?" Shanaya asked, "Where did Rohan come in this?".

"Rohan didn't come in this Shanaya, but I came in between you and Rohan" Abhi snapped.

"Abhi what are you saying?" Shanaya asked, not understanding Abhi's words. 

"Were you ever going to tell me about your little date with Rohan?".

"Date?" Shanaya asked, confused, "Abhi I didn't go on a date with Rohan, I was helping him study".

"Bullshit Shanaya!" Abhi yelled, "I heard Rhea telling Rajat you and Rohan were at Rocky Cafe, the number one place where people go for dates".

"What the hell is wrong with you Abhi!" Shanaya yelled, "Why are you acting like this?".

"Whats wrong with me?" Abhi said, holding Shanaya's wrist tightly, "Whats wrong with you Shanaya, tell me did you actually go to Rocky Cafe, or just like every other girl you slept with Rohan and are using studying as an excuse".

"Abhi!" Shanaya yelled, pushing Abhi away from her, "Do you even realise what your saying, your overreacting for no reason!".

"I'm overreacting?" Abhi said, "I know you slept with Rohan, I'm not stupid Shanaya just admit it!".

"Abhi!" Shanaya yelled, slapping Abhi, "You disgust me Abhimanyu Singh, your a disgusting person, just disgusting!".

Shanaya ran out of her dorm, not wanting to be near Abhi. Her eyes were clouded with tears and she didn't see where she was going, causing her to bump into someone.

"I'm sorry" Shanaya said, not looking at the person.

"Shanaya".

"Rohan" Shanaya said, seeing the person she bumped into.

"Hey whats wrong?" Rohan asked, worried seeing Shanaya crying, "Why are you crying, did something happen, did someone do something to you, tell me Shanaya, I swear if someone did something I won't spare them".

"Rohan" Shanaya said, hugging Rohan, "Rohan why does Abhi think I slept with you, I was just helping you study, I even told him that, but he made stupid assumptions about me just because we went to Rocky Cafe, his suppose to be my best friend, his suppose to trust me, I hate him Rohan, I hate him".

Listening to Shanaya, Rohan was shocked, he couldn't believe Abhi would say such words to Shanaya, he wanted to go break his face, but right now he needed to calm Shanaya down.

Rohan hugged Shanaya back, "Shanaya calm down, don't waste your tears for an asshole like Abhi, your tears are precious, don't waste them like this". 

"Abhi is my best friend Rohan, I have spent my whole life with him, why would he make such disgusting assumptions about me" Shanaya cried, still hugging Rohan. 

Rohan broke the hug and put his hand under Shanaya's chin, making her look at him, "Look Shanaya I don't know whats going through Abhi's mind, all I know is your one of the purest people I have ever met, don't let anyone bring you down, even that asshole who claims to be your best friend".

Rohan's hand dropped to Shanaya's wrists, not noticing her bruises. "Ouch" Shanaya said.

Rohan looked at Shanaya's wrist and was shocked to see the bruises on her both her wrists, "Did Abhi do this?".

When Shanaya didn't reply and stayed silent, Rohan had gotten his answer, "I'm going to kill that bastard".

Before Rohan could go anywhere, Shanaya stopped him by grabbing his hand, "Please don't go, please stay with me, please".

Seeing that Shanaya was vulnerable and needed him right now, Rohan decided to stay and will deal with Abhi later, no matter what anyone says, he won't be leaving Abhimanyu Singh for hurting Shanaya. 

"Fine, but we need to apply something to that to soothe the pain" Rohan said, taking Shanaya with him.

"Rohan where are we going?" Shanaya asked, confused as to where Rohan was taking her.

"A place that will calm both of us down".

"Rohan why did you bring me to the music room?" Shanaya asked confused.

"I bought you to the place that brings me peace, maybe it will  bring you peace as well" Rohan said, "Plus we can finally start your guitar lessons".

"Rohan not today maybe some other time, I'm really not in the mood right now" Shanaya said, making Rohan frown. 

"Shanaya I know your in pain" Rohan said, taking Shanaya's hand and applying the ointment he picked up on the way, "And music is the best way to forget the pain, go into a whole different world". 

"This pain is to much to go away by music Rohan" Shanaya replied.

"You can't make an decision without at least trying it out first" Rohan said, giving Shanaya a small smile. 

"Does music help you forget?" Shanaya asked curious. 

"Music puts me into a whole different world, it helps me create my own little world, where there is no problems, only me and my music" Rohan explained. Shanaya could see the passion Rohan has for music in his eyes, and it made her want to try Rohan's technique out, maybe this would actually help her forget, but she doesn't know if she's in the right mind state to be playing music right now.

"But my mind is really messed up Rohan, I don't think I will be any good playing a guitar".

"Well I'm a very patient person" Rohan said, grabbing his guitar. 

"I feel like thats a lie" Shanaya said, making Rohan laugh.

"Oh you caught me" Rohan said sarcastically, "Now come on nerd time to play some guitar". 

"No bad boy" Shanaya said, confusing Rohan, "I want to hear you sing and play the guitar first".

"This isn't about teaching me how to play a guitar, its about teaching you".

"You want me to forget and feel the music right?" Shanaya asked, Rohan nodded in response, "Then you can help me forget by finally letting me listen to your music". 

"Your emotionally blackmailing me" Rohan said, glaring at Shanaya in amusement. 

"Please Rohan" Shanaya pleaded, "I really want to hear your voice".

"Fine, but only on one condition".

"What condition?".

"I will be playing the guitar, but we will be singing a duet".

"I can't sing Rohan".

"Well too bad" Rohan stated, "Either we both sing, or I just teach you how to play guitar and you won't be hearing my voice, so deal or no deal?".

"I really want to hear your voice" Shanaya said frowning, "So its a deal I guess, but don't blame me if I burst your earbuds, I warned you, and you didn't listen so not my fault".

Rohan smiled at Shanaya and just started playing his guitar.

Hearing Shanaya's voice, Rohan was mesmerised, honestly he didn't believe Shanaya when she said she has a horrible voice, he thought she was being typical Shanaya, and thought she would have at least a decent voice, but Rohan was wrong Shanaya didn't have a decent voice, she had the most beautiful voice he has ever heard, she had a voice of an angel.

"Your such a liar Shanaya" Rohan said, confusing Shanaya, "You said you have a horrible voice, but your voice is so angelic, why do you always have to underestimate yourself?".

"I'm not as good as you" Shanaya said smiling, "Your such a great singer, I swear your going to be singing to me every week". 

"You know where to find me whenever you want to hear my voice" Rohan said. Rohan never sang in front of anyone, he always liked being alone with his music, but he liked Shanaya's company, and for the first time in forever, he wanted to share his music with someone, his music that was once reserved for only him.

"I assure you I'll be coming here as often as I can" Shanaya said smiling. Rohan couldn't help but feel very flattered, for the first time in his life someone was supporting his dream, someone was encouraging his dream, and he couldn't help but smile. 

"Can't wait" Rohan said, "Now that we have had our duet, its now time to teach you how to play a guitar Miss Nerd".

"Your so adamant on teaching me how to play the guitar" Shanaya said, grabbing Rohan's guitar, which was shocking because once again for the first time in his life Rohan was letting someone touch his precious guitar, this was a big deal. 

"Because it was your wish" Rohan said simply, "And your wish is my command".

Rohan then got engrossed in teaching Shanaya how to play the guitar, during this whole duet and guitar playing, Rohan had succeeded in making Shanaya forget about what had happened with Abhi to a extent, he had helped reduce Shanaya's pain without her even realising, but that doesn't mean he was going to spare Abhi.
