After Assembly, 

"Shanaya wait!" Abhi yelled, catching up to Shanaya, "Let me drop you to your dorm".

"No thanks" Shanaya said, not looking towards Abhi.

"Your mad".

"I wonder why" Shanaya said, sarcastically. 

"I guess I deserve that" Abhi said, sighing, "Would you forgive me if I say I'm sorry?".

"Not until you tell me why you were so mad at me, despite me doing nothing to you" Shanaya said, in anger.

"Your going to get mad" Abhi said, making Shanaya frown. 

"Even more than I am right now?" Shanaya asked, glaring at Abhi.

"Probably" Abhi said, not meeting Shanaya's eye.

"Now you have to tell me if you want me to forgive you".

"Look I felt left out okay!" Abhi snapped.

"Left out?" Shanaya asked, confused.

"Shanaya we were suppose to be hanging out together, but you invited Rohan and you got lost in your own world with that ass, you excluded me so forgive me if I got mad" Abhi said, frustrated.

"First of all don't call Rohan an ass" Shanaya defended, "Second of all, if you felt left out you could of said something, you could have joined our conversation, but no instead you left and got mad at me for nothing".

Before Abhi could defend himself, Rohan joined the conversation, "Shanaya I hate you for putting the idea of Thailand in my mind, now I really want to go, so tell me when are we studying".

"Are you blind?" Abhi asked, glaring at Rohan, "We are having a conversation".

"And I don't care" Rohan snapped.

"Look how rude he is Shanaya" Abhi said, "How could you help a guy like him?".

"Who asked for your stupid opinion" Rohan snapped, "I honestly don't give a fuck what you think about me, and Shanaya is not a child, she can decide for herself who she wants to help and who she doesn't, stop making decisions for".

Rohan's words flattered Shanaya's heart, being an orphan everyone made decisions for her, thinking she is to naive she can't make decisions herself, sometimes even Abhi made decisions for her, but Rohan was different, he let her make own choice. Abhi expected Shanaya to stay away from Rohan just because he hates him, but Rohan doesn't care if Shanaya is close to Abhi or not, he respects her choices, he gave her the choice of making her own decisions. For other people this isn't a big deal, but for Shanaya its a huge deal. Rohan has made a pretty strong place for himself in Shanaya's heart, without either of them realising. 

"First of all, Rohan is right Abhi, let me make my own decisions" Shanaya said, angering Abhi, Shanaya had always listened to him, but today because of Rohan she won't listen to him, Rohan was ruining their relationship and Abhi didn't like that one bit, "Second of all, Rhea has told me everything about this rivalry you both have going on, at first I didn't believe her, but now I see it, you both listen carefully to me you guys hate each other, good for you, but don't drag me into this, I'm going to be friends with both of you, if any of you have a problem then feel free to leave".

"I don't care if your friends with him Shanaya, his the one whose trying to control you" Rohan said, glaring at Abhi.

"I'm not trying to control her, I'm protecting her from you" Abhi snapped.

"She doesn't need protection from you, she's capable of protecting herself" Rohan defended, in anger.

"Enough both of you, we are done with this conversation, none of you are going to tell me what to do and none of you are going to protect me" Shanaya snapped, "And now back to the main topic, Rohan we can study whenever your free just let me know, and you Abhimanyu Singh next time if you get mad at me for no reason then I won't always be forgiving you for being an ass".

"Language" Rohan teased, making Shanaya smile.

"Now bye, Rhea's going to kill me for being so late" Shanaya said, leaving Rohan and Abhi alone.

Both Abhi and Rohan watched Shanaya's retreating figure, with a small smile on their face. Abhi was happy that Shanaya forgave him, despite him being such an ass to her, honestly he took Rohan's anger out at her, he didn't mean to but he couldn't help himself. But he was still a bit angry, Abhi thought because of their friendship Shanaya would stay away from Rohan, but no it was the opposite, as time went on, Rohan and Shanaya kept coming closer, and the more closer they got, the more apart Abhi and Shanaya got. 

Rohan was happy that Shanaya wanted him to be with her, if he was to be honest when Shanaya told Abhi she wanted him to come, he was hurt, he didn't know why but he was hurt, but when Shanaya told him it wasn't going to be the same without him, he felt something in his heart, now he wanted to go to Thailand with Shanaya, even if he had to do well in his exams, he would work hard, just so he could be with Shanaya, what was happening to the bad boy.

"Okay, let's do this Shanaya Singhania, time to study for business studies" Shanaya said, looking at the mess of books and notes on her bed, "This is going to be a headache". 

As soon as Shanaya started studying the human resources for a business, someone knocked on the door, "Why do people always knock on the wrong time".

Shanaya got up and went to open the door. Opening the door Shanaya saw Abhi standing on the other side.

"Abhi" Shanaya said, shocked, "What are you doing here?".

"You said you will help me study, so here I am" Abhi said casually, if he was to be honest he didn't care about studying, he just wanted to be with Shanaya.

"You want to study now?".

"Yeah, why is it a bad time?" Abhi said, looking concerned.

"No" Shanaya said, quickly, "I'm just surprised, you came without a warning".

"I never warn you, I always just pop up" Abhi teased, making Shanaya roll her eyes.

"Trust me I know" Shanaya said, letting Abhi in.

"I see we are already studying" Abhi said, laughing at the mess of books on Shanaya's bed.

"Yeah I'm studying business" Shanaya said, making space on her bed for Abhi.

"Great help me in business then" Abhi said, sitting down. 

"But your amazing at business studies" Shanaya complained, making Abhi laugh.

"Well help me revise and maybe I can help you if you have any questions".

"You just want to distract me" Shanaya said, sitting down. 

"Shit you caught me angel, I came here to make sure you fail so I can go Thailand by myself" Abhi teased, making Shanaya give him the middle finger.

"Just shut up Abhimanyu Singh" Shanaya said, "I know your ass knows business studies very well and you definitely don't need my help, so quietly sit down there and study and don't you dare think of disturbing me".

"But what if you want help?" Abhi asked, raising his eyebrows.

"If I want help then I will ask you myself" Shanaya retorted. 

"Aye aye captain" Abhi said, mock saluting Shanaya, making her laugh.

Both Abhi and Shanaya sat in silent and started studying, both were engrossed in their books, that was until Shanaya's phone beeped, catching her attention.

Unknown: Hey Nerd 🤓 

Looking at the text Shanaya was confused, who was this unknown person texting her and calling her a nerd. 

Shanaya: Whose this?

Unknown: Who else calls you nerd?

Shanaya smiled at the phone, she figured out who was messaging her, she can't believe she didn't realise it as soon as she received the message.

Shanaya: Bad boy?

Rohan: At your service ✌

Shanaya: Where did you get my number from bad boy?

Rohan: I have my ways, now leave that and tell me are you free in the evening?

Shanaya: Why?

Rohan: Yes or no Shanaya?

Shanaya: Why though?

Rohan: Your so annoying

Shanaya: Okay, okay, I'm free now tell me why?

Rohan: You promised you will help me in going to Thailand, remember?

Shanaya: I remember, meet me at the library in the evening okay?

Rohan: No thats too boring, I can never study there

Shanaya: So where can you study?

Rohan: Meet me at Rocky Cafe

Shanaya: Deal, see you there bad boy 😊

Rohan: Its a date then 😘

Shanaya: Its a what?

Rohan: Bye nerd, see you in the evening 😉

Shanaya: Rohan you said date

Shanaya: Rohan I know you reading this, answer my question

Shanaya: Fine, but don't forget we are meeting in the evening, I won't spare you

Rohan: Cant wait x

Reading Rohan's messages made Shanaya laugh and blush all at the same time, Rohan loved to tease Shanaya, it never annoyed her though it made her laugh, she liked it. But what Shanaya couldn't stop thinking about was Rohan's message about the date, is it really a date or is Rohan teasing her, but most of all why does Shanaya care?

"Why are you smiling at your phone?" Abhi asked, suspiciously. 

"Nothing, just saw something that made me happy" Shanaya said smiling, saving Rohan's contact name as Bad Boy 😊😋.

Rocky Cafe,

Rohan had arrived at Rocky Cafe, and was now siting on a booth waiting for Shanaya to come. Rohan had arrived early, way early, and he didn't know why, can you believe it the Rohan Nanda who made everyone wait for him, was now waiting for a girl, but the question now was is this because he wants to break Shanaya's heart or something else?

Rohan's thoughts were disturbed when someone placed their hands over his eyes, "Guess who", Rohan immediately knew who it was, but he decided to have some fun.

"Anjali?" "No".

"Naina?" "No Rohan come on".

"Oh I know your Aadhya right?" "Oh get lost Rohan".

The person removed their hands from Rohan's eyes and went and sat in front of him, "It's me Shanaya, can't believe you didn't recognise me".

Seeing Shanaya's sulking face, Rohan couldn't help but start laughing, making Shanaya frown, "Oh look now his laughing".

"Shanaya how stupid are you?" Rohan asked, trying to control his laugh, "I invited you here so obviously I'm going to know its you". 

"Okay fine, but tell me something who were all the girls whose names you called me?" Shanaya asked, frowning.

"Just old flings" Rohan said casually.

"You've had a lot of flings haven't you?".

"Yeah everyone has" Rohan said, not noticing Shanaya's discomfort.

"But I haven't, hell I never had any boyfriends let alone flings" Shanaya said, shocking Rohan.

"You haven't had any boyfriends?" Rohan asked, not believing what he had just heard.

"Nope" Shanaya said embarrassed.

"Okay but you have had your first kiss right?" Rohan asked, Shanaya nodded no in response, once again shocking Rohan, "Why?".

"I'm waiting for my soulmate" Shanaya stated, no longer embarrassed.

"You believe in soulmates?".

"Of course I do" Shanaya said, "I believe god has made someone for everyone".

"Sorry to burst your bubble Miss Dancer, God and love don't exist" Rohan said, making Shanaya frown.

"I'm sorry to burst your bubble Mr Rockstar, but God and love do exist" Shanaya argued.

"If God existed then why are so many people in this world so miserable, and why is it that whenever someone falls in love they go through double the pain and heartbreak than any happiness" Rohan argued back.

"If God gives pain then he also gives happiness, plus if everything in this world is perfect this world will be a boring place to live in, because perfect is boring".

"But I bet you want a perfect guy, who has a perfect family, perfect smile, and just an overall perfect life" Rohan snapped.

"Your wrong Rohan" Shanaya said, staring into Rohan's eyes, "I don't want a perfect guy because people aren't perfect relationships are". 

"So your telling me if a guy is broken has many flaws and everyone around you tells you his bad for you, will you still love him?" Rohan asked, not even realising what he was saying, only interested in Shanaya's answer.

"Once your in love the world or anyone in it no longer matter, I will fight the whole world if I have to for my love, despite their flaws and what everyone around me says about them" Shanaya said in determination. 

"The guy you fall for will be the luckiest person ever" Rohan said, looking at Shanaya in adoration. 

"Do you want to know what I think?" Shanaya asked, Rohan nodded in response, "When you fall for someone, it will be magical, it will be passionate, your love story bad boy, is going to create history". 

"Well I guess I won't be making history then since I won't be falling in love, sucks really" Rohan said sarcastically, making Shanaya laugh.

"Mr Rockstar, love is not in our control, you will fall for your soulmate without you even realising it" Shanaya said, making Rohan roll his eyes. 

"How the hell do I know whose my soulmate?".

"You will just know" Shanaya replied, confusing Rohan.

"Will know just like that?" Rohan asked, Shanaya nodded in response. 

"Who knows maybe you have already met your soulmate, maybe she's in our collage, in your class, or who knows maybe she's here right now, you never know" Shanaya said, making Rohan laugh.

"All hail love guru Shanaya" Rohan said, folding his hands in front of her mockingly. 

Shanaya slapped Rohan's hands, making Rohan laugh, "Just shut up Rohan, all I'm saying is don't give up on love or God". 

"Okay I think I've heard enough from love guru Shanaya, no more please" Rohan said, cutting the conversation, he no longer wanted to talk about this anymore, it was confusing the hell out of him, "Let's just do what we came here to do, shall we".

Sensing Rohan no longer wanted to talk about this, Shanaya said, "Let's get to studying then!".
