"Abhi where the hell are you taking me?" Shanaya asked, "I wanted to spend time with Rhea not you".

"Shanaya your Rhea's roommate, you can spend time with her whenever you want" Abhi said, "But I haven't seen you for so long, and I want to spend some time with my best friend, is that too much to ask for?"

"First of all I see we are using my words against me" Shanaya teased, "Second of all whose fault is it that we haven't seen each other for so long". 

"I know, I know, its my fault, but in my defence I've been busy" Abhi said, "Now enough chatting, let's go".

"And go where exactly?".

"Right about that" Abhi said, rubbing the back of his neck, "I didn't plan that ahead".

"My best friend is an idiot" Shanaya said, hitting the back of Abhi's head. 

"Why do I have to plan everything" Abhi complained, rubbing his head, "You should plan things time to time as well Shanaya". 

"So we are going to start arguing on this now?" Shanaya said, narrowing her eyes at Abhi.

"Since its your first day here and I'm a good friend, I won't start a argument today" Abhi said, "Now let's go somewhere". 

"Well I'm hungry, so show me the canteen".

"Of course your hungry" Abhi teased.

Abhi and Shanaya started walking towards the canteen, when Shanaya spotted Rohan sitting on the bench with earphones in, away from everyone in his own little world. 

"Abhi, look its Rohan" Shanaya pointed. 

Before Abhi could stop her, Shanaya ran up to Rohan and tapped his shoulder. 

"Hey Rohan" Shanaya said, smiling at him.

"Shanaya hey" Rohan said, surprised. Rohan stood up, when he saw Abhi approaching him, he really didn't want to fight right now, "Do you need something?".

"Nope" Shanaya replied, "Me and Abhi were going to the canteen and I saw you sitting here alone so I thought to come and ask you, want to join?".

"No!" Abhi yelled, making Shanaya frown.

"Why not?".

"I don't think its a good idea" Rohan said, hoping to avoid Abhi.

"Of course its a good idea" Shanaya said, "I'm not hearing no for a answer".

"His busy Shanaya" Abhi said glaring at Rohan, making him smirk.

Rohan knew if he stayed Abhi will be very annoyed, and how can Rohan let such a golden opportunity pass by, "Alright you win Shanaya, I will love to hang out with you". 

"Yay!" Shanaya clapped, jumping up and down. Looking at Shanaya's enthusiasm both Rohan and Abhi couldn't help but smile, even though both of them didn't want to be near each other, Shanaya's excitement made them feel happy.

"Oh my God, guys this collage has a cotton candy stand?" Shanaya asked, pointing to the cotton candy stand, which was located in the middle of the campus ground.

"Yeah, its always been there" Rohan said, confused as to why Shanaya was so excited. 

"I love cotton candy, let's go we need to go eat some" Shanaya said, without listening to the boys reply, Shanaya held both their hands and dragged them to the stand. 

"Hey, can I please have two blue and one pink cotton candy".

"I'm good, I won't be eating one" Rohan said.

"Don't be boring Rohan" Shanaya said, grabbing Rohan's hand and placing one of the blue cotton candy in his hand,  "It won't kill you".

"His boring, he can't help it" Abhi taunted, making Rohan glare at him.

"I'm way more interesting than you" Rohan replied, angering Abhi. 

"Alright boys let's not argue like a married couple" Shanaya teased, making both the boys roll their eyes, "Let's just enjoy a ton of sugar, thats probably not healthy for us".

"Shanaya we both are football captains, we should be eating healthy and sugar is definitely not healthy" Abhi explained.

"One cotton candy, won't make both of your six packs go away" Shanaya said, handing Abhi the other blue cotton candy.  

"Actually.." Rohan started, but got interrupted when Shanaya stuffed his face with the cotton candy.

"Both of you shut up and enjoy this goodness" Shanaya said, trying so hard not to laugh at Rohan's face.

Rohan looked at Shanaya in shock, he couldn't believe what this girl has just did, no one in St Teresa dared to cross Rohan Nanda and here she had the nerve to shove cotton candy in his mouth, even though Rohan wanted to be angry really angry he couldn't help but laugh at what Shanaya had did, if it was someone else who had shoved cotton candy in his mouth he would have shouted at them, probably would have made them cry, but for some reason he couldn't bring himself to shout at Shanaya, instead he fell into a hysterical laugh. After seeing Rohan lose control, Shanaya also couldn't help but laugh, resulting in both Rohan and Shanaya falling into a never ending laughter.

While Rohan and Shanaya were laughing for no absolute reason, Abhi was fuming, he wanted to spend some alone time with Shanaya, but here he was with Shanaya and Rohan, feeling left out. If anyone was to see all three of them together, they would assume Rohan and Shanaya are best friends, and Abhi is nothing but a third wheel, and Abhi did not like being the third wheel, not one bit.

While Rohan and Shanaya were busy laughing, Abhi had left without informing them, and when Shanaya realised he was gone, she left Rohan and she went to go look for Abhi, but he was no where to be found, so giving up she returned back to her dorm, exhausted. 

Entering her dorm, Shanaya saw a note on her side table from Rhea. 

Hey new bestie,
don't panic when you don't find me here,
I'm spending sometime with the boring boyfriend
Love Rhea <3

Reading Rhea's note, Shanaya couldn't help but laugh, if Rajat saw this no doubt he would be extremely pissed. Putting the note down, Shanaya looked around the dorm to see what she could do to pass time, thats when her eyes landed on the posters of one direction and why don't we, lying on her bed that she was going to put up before Abhi took her outside.

The posters were pretty huge and required two people to put them up, and since no one was here to help and Shanaya is very impatient to wait for someone to come help, she decided to put the posters up herself. 

"This is going to be torture" Shanaya said, picking her why don't we poster up, "A sensible thing to do is wait for someone to arrive so they can help me, but I'm not sensible and I need my baby's up so I could stare at them while I study, so here's to putting these posters up and most likely breaking a bone".

Shanaya grabbed a chair and placed it near her desk, grabbing her why don't we poster, she climbed on to the chair. Shanaya pinned the left side easily, but in order to pin the other side, she would need to lean a lot. A normal person would just move the chair to the other side, but Shanaya wasn't normal, instead she started leaning to the right side, not noticing her chair shaking. As soon as Shanaya was about to pin the poster her foot slipped.

"Ahh!" Shanaya screamed closing her eyes, and waiting for the impact. Not feeling any pain, Shanaya opened her eyes, only to see herself in Rohan's arms. 

"If you know your going to break a bone by putting the posters up alone, why even try to put them up alone?".

"You heard everything?" Shanaya asked embarrassed, Rohan nodded in response, "All of it?", Rohan nodded again, "What are you even doing here Rohan?".

"I was going to the music room and coincidentally I have to pass your room to get there, quick tip you shouldn't leave your dorm room wide open" Rohan said, amusement clearly shown in his voice. 

"If I didn't leave my door open then you wouldn't have seen me fall, and you wouldn't have saved me and then I would have gotten seriously hurt, maybe even ended up in the hospital" Shanaya explained, giving Rohan the most innocent look she can give. 

"I can't believe we are having this conversation while your still in my arms" Rohan said, making Shanaya laugh. 

"Well you know you can put me down and then help me with my posters".

Rohan helped Shanaya stand, "And why will I help you".

"Because your a good guy" Shanaya said, making Rohan frown. 

"I'm not good, I'm bad Shanaya, your Abhi is the good guy not me" Rohan said, turning his face.

"I don't think your the bad boy" Shanaya said, making Rohan stare at her, shocked. 

"You don't know me".

"Your right, I don't know you" Shanaya replied, "But call it my gut feeling or call me stupid, I don't think your bad, I think your just misunderstood".

"Your trusting nature is going to be the cause as to why people to take advantage of you" Rohan said, while looking away, cause he knew he is going to one of those people. 

"I'm not too trusting" Shanaya replied, "Its just that I feel comfortable with you, its weird I know don't judge me find me crazy since I only just met you, but I trust you".

Shanaya's words shocked Rohan, this girl only met him recently and she already trusts him, while he was planning to break her heart even before he met her. Now Rohan was in serious dilemma, does he keep Shanaya's trust or ruin Abhi's life, does he choose trust or rivalry?

"Oh hello" Shanaya said, snapping her fingers in front of Rohan's face, bringing him out of his trance, "Come on bad boy help the good girl out".

"Yeah fine whatever" Rohan said, deciding to help Shanaya out so he can leave her presence quickly.

"One direction have broken up, get over them" Rohan teased, looking at Shanaya's one direction poster.

"Listen don't say anything about one direction, otherwise we will have a serious problem" Shanaya said, with fake anger. 

"Oh my God, I'm so scared, please forgive me Shanaya" Rohan said, fake apologising.

"What's going on here?" Rhea said, entering the room, and seeing Rohan and Shanaya laughing.

Seeing Rhea, Rohan knew it was time to leave, he could deal with Shanaya, but not Rhea. He wanted to leave as soon as he was done helping Shanaya, but for some reason he couldn't bring himself to leave, this was his opportunity to leave and get some thinking time. 

"Nothing" Rohan said, "I was just leaving".

"Wait, what?" Shanaya asked, shocked. 

"I will see you later Shanaya" Rohan said leaving, without looking back at Shanaya.

"So you and Rohan" Rhea said, lying on Shanaya's bed, "What's going on there?".

"Nothing is going on there" Shanaya said, lying next to Rhea, "I just think I made a new friend".

"But what about Abhi?" Rhea asked, confusing Shanaya.

"What about Abhi?".

"Abhi is going to freak out when he finds out you consider Rohan as your friend".

"Why the hell will he freak out?" Shanaya asked, confused.

"You don't know Abhi and Rohan's history, do you?".

"They have history together?" Shanaya asked, shocked.

"Wow" Rhea said, "I'm surprised Abhi hasn't told you yet".

"Rhea cut the suspense and spill the tea".

"Well" Rhea started, "Ever since both their times at St Teresa they have hated each other, no one really knows how this rivalry started or why this rivalry started, everyone just assumes its because of football, but you should know that whenever Rohan and Abhi are in the same room a fight will happen for sure, I have lost count on the amount of fights they have been in, both verbal and physical". 

"But they won't fighting today".

Rhea looked at Shanaya in confusion, "Today?".

"Me and Abhi were hanging out and I saw Rohan so I asked him to hang out with us, and then I forced both of them to eat cotton candy with me, and the whole time they didn't fight".

"Did you pay attention or just eat your cotton candy?".

"Okay I admit they did argue a bit, but I shoved cotton candy in Rohan's mouth so they didn't get a chance to really fight I guess" Shanaya said, smiling at the memory of her and Rohan eating cotton candy.

"You shoved cotton candy in Rohan Nanda's mouth?" Rhea asked, Shanaya nodded in response, "How much did he shout at you?".

"He didn't shout at me, instead we both fell into a laughing fit" Shanaya said smiling, shocking Rhea.

"Rohan Nanda didn't shout at you for shoving cotton candy in his mouth?" Rhea asked, not believing what she was hearing.

"Nope" Shanaya said, not knowing why Rhea was so shocked, "Leave that, you tell me this, because I'm Abhi's best friend, does that mean I should stay away from Rohan?".

"Well I would have said yes" Rhea said, making Shanaya frown, "But after seeing you and Rohan together, and you telling me that he didn't shout at you when you shoved cotton candy in his mouth, I think your the one who can finally change the bad boy"".

"I'm not here to change anyone Rhea".

"So you accept the bad boy the way he is?".

"This good girl likes the bad boy, just the way he is".
