After Rhea threw such a huge bomb on him, Rajat didn't know what to do. Abhi was like a brother to him, his best friend who he relied on for anything and everything, how can the guy he looked up to at times be this wrong. 

Somewhere in his heart he hoped Rhea was lying, that she was trying to make him and Abhi fight for some stupid reason, but the other part also knew she might be right, he knew all along Abhi was hiding something from him, he just didn't think it was this big, there was only one way to find out. 

"Abhi!".

Abhi looked up from his laptop to see a furious Rajat standing at the door, "Whats wrong Rajat?".

"Is it true?".

Abhi looked at Rajat in confusion, not knowing what Rajat was talking about, "Whats true?".

"Did you make a bet on Shanaya's heart then lie to her by blaming it all on Rohan, and then when you saw Rohan and Shanaya together you announced a competition for her instead of just letting them be?".

Abhi looked at Rajat in shock, he never wanted Rajat to find out about that because he knows exactly what his reaction will be, "Who told you that?".

"Abhi just answer the damn question!".

"Rajat I...", Rajat observed Abhi's reaction carefully, if Rhea could tell what Rajat was feeling from his expressions, then Rajat could also tell Abhi's feelings from his facial expressions, and right now his hesitation and the worry on his face immediately told Rajat that whatever Rhea told him was right, and Abhi kept him in the dark this whole time.

"Oh my God Abhi", Rajat ran his hand through his hair in frustration, "Its the truth, everything Rhea told me was true". 

"Rhea told you all this?", Abhi was furious, there was only one question going around in his mind, why would Rhea bring Rajat into this?

"Yes Abhi, Rhea told me everything, things you kept from you dick!".

Abhi got up from the bed and faced Rajat, "Rajat I didn't tell you because I knew you would try to stop me".

"Fuck yeah I will Abhi, do you even realise what your doing?".

"I'm trying to win the girl I love".

"You want to win Shanaya by breaking her heart?".

Abhi looked at Rajat in confusion, "What?".

"Don't what me Abhi, do you not realise that Shanaya loves Rohan and if you separate them Shanaya will be heartbroken, she might even lose her belief in love Abhi, open your eyes and see how much damage you are causing not only to Shanaya but also to yourself".

"But I can heal her Rajat and Shanaya can heal me, I just need Rohan to leave both of our lives".

Rajat looked at Abhi in disbelief, the person in front of him wasn't his best friend, he was a crazy person, a person whose love is toxic for not only Shanaya but everyone around him, "Thats not how it works Abhi, I've seen Shanaya with Rohan and from even far I can tell how much Shanaya needs Rohan, Abhi take my advice and let go of her, if you love her be happy for her don't snatch her happiness from her, because if you let her be with Rohan then you will still have as your friend in your life but if you separate her from Rohan she will hate you forever, she will herself kick you out of her life". 

"I can't let go of Shanaya Rajat, I'm not as pathetic as you are who let Rhea go to Jeet!".

Rajat looked at Abhi shocked, he never talked to him like that, his love for Shanaya was driving him towards madness at this point, "Yes I let go of Rhea, not because I'm pathetic Abhi because I'm strong enough to let go of Rhea for her happiness, I love Rhea which is why her happiness is the most important thing for me, and if she's happy without me than I will gladly let her go, if anyone is pathetic right now its you, mark my words Abhi your stubbornness is going to cause you a hell lot of trouble in the future".

"I'm pathetic for fighting for my love?".

"Your not fighting for your love Abhi Rohan is, your just being a villain in his and Shanaya's love story".

"As long as I get Shanaya I don't mind being a villain".

"So your not going to let go of Shanaya?".

"No".

"Fine, if your not going to let go of Shanaya then I'm letting go of our friendship".

Abhi looked at Rajat in shock, not believing the words that came out of his mouth, "Rajat do you even realise what your saying?".

"I do Abhi, I fully realise what I just said and I will stick to my word, while you plan your next move to separate Rohan and Shanaya, I'm going to go to Rohan and support him in defeating you".

"Rajat I'm your best friend, your brother, you can't leave me and go support that asshole".

"I'm not supporting Rohan instead I'm supporting Shanaya, I'm supporting my sister, a sister who I have been neglecting because I was too blinded by your friendship, your toxic friendship".

"Rajat..."

"Bye Abhi, I will come back to collect my things later".

After Rajat left, Abhi fell down to his knees, this is why he never told Rajat anything, he knew how good Rajat was and that he would never support him, but he never expected him to leave him and support Rohan.

In his anger Abhi smashed everything he could get his hands on in his dorm, he was angry, not at Rhea, not at Rajat, not at Shanaya, once again he twisted everything and somehow put the whole blame on one person.

"Rohan!!".

After their visit to the temple, Rohan and Shanaya went to Rohan's dorm where Rhea and Jeet were waiting for them. 

As soon as they entered the room, a pillow was thrown at them, "No PDA!".

While Rohan gave Rhea an annoyed expression, Shanaya just laughed at her best friend's words, "This is not PDA Rhea, we are literally just holding hands".

"Thats still PDA in my eyes Nanda, so let go of my best friend now!".

Rohan gave Rhea a challenging look, "Make me".

"Oh no you didn't", Rhea started to go towards Rohan and Shanaya but got stopped when Jeet pulled her back down to the bed.

"Rhea chill".

"He challenged me Jeet".

"No he didn't".

"He gave me the challenging look".

Shanaya shook her head at both Rohan and Rhea's antics, at which Rohan just gave her a cheeky smile.

"She's my best friend, only I can touch her".

"She's my girlfriend Dialdas".

"Ask me how much fucks I give Nanda, oh thats right none".

Shanaya and Jeet both looked at each, pleading the other to do something. 

Finally having enough of Rohan and Rhea's usual bickering, Shanaya decided to finally speak, "Enough you two, stop fighting like kids and tell me why did you call us here?".

"We wanted to know whats the strategy?".

Rohan and Shanaya looked at Jeet in confusion, "What strategy?".

Rhea gave Rohan and Shanaya an are you kidding me look, "What do you mean what strategy, whats the strategy your going to use to make sure Abhi loses the competition?".

Rohan and Shanaya looked at each other wide eye, in all their lovey dovey moments they forget to talk about the competition. 

Looking at Rohan and Shanaya's expressions, Jeet smirked, "You guys have no strategy do you?".

Rhea looked back between Jeet and Ronaya, "Please tell me thats not the truth".

Shanaya gave Rhea sheepish smile, "Would you be angry if I tell you it is the truth?".

Rhea glared at Shanaya in anger, "What is wrong with you two, do you guys want to be together or not?".

"Of course we want to be together but..."

"But what Rohan, if you want to be together than you guys need a strategy your going to use to defeat Abhi, and right now I don't see any strategies here".

"Can I help in making a strategy?".

All eyes turned to the door, where Rajat was standing at the door, very awkwardly.

Rhea and Shanaya turned to each other, asking each other why Rajat is here, however both having no answer for Rajat's sudden appearance. 

"What are you doing here?".

"Rohan I came here to apologise to Shanaya".

Shanaya looked at Rajat in confusion, "Apologise for what?".

"For not being there for you, and even though it was unintentional, I did support the villain of your love story".

Rhea looked at Rajat with a proud expression on her face, she figured out why Rajat was here, "You asked him didn't you?".

Rajat met Rhea's eyes and nodded in response, "I did".

"Ask who what?".

"Shanaya I told Rajat everything Abhi did to you and Rohan".

"Rhea I'm pretty sure he already knew all that".

"No Jeet I didn't, I swear on my life I didn't know Abhi was capable of all this, I admit I knew Abhi loved Shanaya but I never knew when his love turned into such dark obsession".

Rohan gave Rajat a suspicious look, "Why should we believe you, how do we know Abhi didn't just send you here to spy on us, so he can keep an eye on our every move through you?".

Rajat sighed, "You have no reason to believe me Rohan and I totally respect that, I just came here to apologise to Shanaya and Rhea for not being there for them and for supporting Abhi over you two, and to also let you guys know that I support both of your love, if you need my help in anyway I'll always be here".

Rajat turned to leave, but got stopped but Shanaya, "Where do you think your going now?".

"I don't want to intrude, I said what I came here to say so I'll take your leave now".

Rhea and Shanaya gave each other a smile, "Your such an idiot Rajat".

"What did I do this time?".

"You said you want to help Rohan and Shanaya, how are you going to help them if your not even here?".

Rajat looked at both Rhea and Shanaya in shock, "I...what?".

"Rajat you helping me and Rohan or not?".

Rajat looked behind Rhea and Shanaya to see Rohan and Jeet standing there, observing him, "I don't think Rohan and Jeet will want me to be here".

Rohan and Jeet looked at each other with a neutral expression on their faces, no one could tell what they were thinking right now. 

After a few seconds Rohan went forward and put his hand on Rajat's shoulder, "Welcome to the group dude".

Jeet put his arms around both Rohan and Rajat, "Here's to a new found friendship".

Rhea and Shanaya both smiled at the boys in front of them, maybe this competition wasn't all bad after all.

After Rajat left him and he smashed nearly everything his room, Abhi was now sitting in the middle of the room just staring at a picture of him, Shanaya and Rajat. 

Abhi's head was hurting, was fighting for his love so wrong, is he really snatching Shanaya's happiness from her, what the hell is he suppose to do, he had no idea, he was stuck and he had no idea how to get out of the place he was stuck in. 

After her encounter with Rohan at the basketball court, Tanya knew she had to do something huge in order to separate Rohan and Shanaya, messing with Shanaya won't work because she has her personal bodyguard with her 24/7. 

But Tanya knew there was only one person who could help her, she wanted Rohan and he wanted Shanaya, so all Tanya had to do was provoke Abhi to such a extent that under no circumstance would he give up on Shanaya, she has to make sure he succeeds in separating Shanaya and Rohan. 

Which is why Tanya had now come to talk to Abhi in his dorm room, imagine her surprise when she saw the state of the room and Abhi himself. 

"What the hell happened here?".

Abhi looked up from his photo to find Tanya standing at his door, looking at his room in shock.

"Leave".

"We need to talk".

Abhi got up from the floor and stood in front of Tanya, "I said leave".

"Abhi listen.."

"Did you not listen to me, I said leave!", Abhi grabbed Tanya's arm and pushed her out of the door. 

Just as he was about to close the door, Tanya spoke, "Rohan is a horrible person for Shanaya".

Abhi stopped and looked at Tanya in confusion, "What?".

"Listen Abhi, Rohan is a playboy once a playboy always stays a playboy, he will for sure break Shanaya's heart there's no way he loves her, his not capable of love, you need to save Shanaya from his clutches otherwise he will ruin her and you will lose your Shanaya forever".

"Why are you telling me all this Tanya?".

"Because I know you love Shanaya and you wouldn't want her to be a with the wrong guy".

Abhi let Tanya's words sink in, everyone knew about Rohan's ways, everyone knew how he used a girl for a bit and after he got what he wanted from her he would brutally dump them, Abhi did not want Shanaya to go through the same fate as all those girls who made Rohan their everything, only in return for their heart to be shattered into million pieces. 

All the doubt that Rajat had created in Abhi's mind was now disappearing because of Tanya's words, as he thought more and more about Tanya's words, the more determined he got to separate Rohan and Shanaya.  

"Whats in it for you Tanya, cause I know very well you don't help people unless you benefit from it".

Tanya smirked at Abhi, "Isn't it obvious Abhi, I want Rohan".
