"Shanaya why are we playing basketball in the middle of a hot day".

In response to Rhea Shanaya simply threw the basketball at her, which she easily caught, "I need a distraction, and I also need someone to talk to".

Rhea bounced the ball up and down, "Make up your mind women, do you want a distraction or do you want to talk about whatever's bothering you".

Shanaya stole the ball from Rhea's hand and shot it in the basketball hoop, easily making the basket, "I want to talk to you about my problem and then you distract me, deal?".

"Deal", Rhea lied down on the basketball court and gestured Shanaya to join, "Let's talk first, playing and talking isn't really my thing".

Shanaya gave Rhea a small smile and lied down next to her, and for a few minutes just stared at the sky.

"Okay there is something clearly bothering you, spill it".

Shanaya sighed and sat up, "I confessed my love to Rohan".

"Yeah I know, and apparently the whole collage knows it as well because you guys kissed in the corridor, in front of everyone".

Shanaya hid her face in her hands, "I was to excited to realise where the hell we were".

Rhea laughed at Shanaya's explanation, "Well at least you got the confession out of the way, but I still don't see the problem here".

"Abhi saw us".

Rhea looked at Shanaya in shock, something tells her Abhi seeing them wasn't a good thing, "What the hell did he do now?".

Shanaya sighed, "He won't back away Rhea, his so hell bent on getting me that he completely disregarded my feelings, because of which he decided to...", Shanaya stopped talking, she didn't realise how hard it was to talk about this. 

"Decided to what Shanaya?".

"He said there will be a competition".

"Competition for what?", Rhea had some clue of what the competition will be about but still she hoped that Abhi wasn't that evil. 

"Me". 

And there goes that hope, "What the hell is wrong with that guy!".

"I don't know Rhea, I really don't know".

"Please tell me Rohan didn't repeat his mistake, please tell me he refused do be part of this stupid competition".

Shanaya knew now was the time to tell Rhea that she accepted the competition this time not Rohan, but that doesn't mean shes at all prepared for her anger, "Rohan refused the competition but.."

Shanaya's hesitation with every sentence was now annoying Rhea, she hated the suspense, "But what Shanaya?".

"I accepted it".

"What!", Rhea got up shocked after hearing Shanaya, "What the hell is wrong with you Shanaya!".

Shanaya got up slowly, angry Rhea was not good for anyone, may God save her today, "Look Rhea I have a very good reason as to why I accepted it".

Rhea looked at Shanaya as if she grew another head, "No reason can be good enough to justify this stupidity of yours".

"Rhea this was the only way I could think of that would get Abhi off of mine and Rohan's relationship". 

"No Shanaya, this is the way you and Rohan will lose each other".

"Rhea our love is not that weak, Rohan will win I know he will".

Rhea ran her hand through her hair in annoyance, "And what if he loses, then what will your ass do Shanaya, just go and run to Abhi?".

"Rohan is not going to lose Rhea, end of discussion, and God forbid if he loses I will keep fighting for our love, I'm not going to let Abhi win"

"Listen Shanaya..."

"Rhea's right Shanaya".

Rhea and Shanaya both turned around to face the person who just interrupted their talk, and both frowned when they saw Tanya coming towards them.

"Tanya we don't want to talk to your right now, we are discussing something very important, so its in your best interest that you turn around and leave".

"Oh come Rhea, I was just agreeing with you, no need to be so rude".

"Honestly Tanya get a bloody life instead of interfering in other peoples".

Ignoring Rhea, Tanya turned around to face Shanaya, "You know your really an idiot".

"Tanya!".

"Shh Rhea I'm not talking to you, I'm talking to your idiotic best friend here".

"Tanya you do realise I don't care about you, meaning your words have no affect on me".

"I know you don't care Shanaya, but I just came here to say thanks".

Shanaya looked at Tanya in confusion, "Thanks for what?".

"Because of your stupidity, I will now finally have Rohan".

Shanaya looked at Tanya in anger, "Mind your tongue Tanya, Rohan will never be yours".

Tanya smirked at Shanaya, "He will be once Abhi wins the competition and you have to leave him, Rohan will be needing some emotional support and thats when I come in".

"Abhi will not being winning the competition!".

Shanaya looked behind Tanya and saw her bad boy standing there, with anger clearly shown on his face. Seeing Rohan behind her suddenly made Tanya very pale, she was well aware of his anger, which is why she confronted Shanaya when she was alone, she didn't expect Rohan to come here. 

"Rohan.."

"Shut up Tanya!", Tanya flinched at Rohan's voice, yeap he was definitely angry, "What were you saying again?",

"I wasn't..."

"Something about Abhi winning and you having me right?", Rhea looked at Tanya in amusement, it was funny how everyone in St Teresa was scared of Rohan's anger, well everyone expect three people, "Let me get one thing clear Tanya, Rohan is only Shanaya's, and for Shanaya I can go to any ends so defeating Abhi won't be a problem, and even if I do lose, you better bet that I will still fight for Shanaya, I will fight for her till my last breathe, so you can let go of your stupid fantasies, otherwise you very well know what I'm capable of".

Without waiting for a reply from Tanya, Rohan simply held Shanaya's hand in front of her and took her with him. 

Rhea faced Tanya with a smirk on her face, "Guess who looks like an idiot now Tanya".

Tanya glared at Rhea in anger, "Don't glare at me boo, get one thing in your head Tanya separating Rohan and Shanaya will not be easy for you or for Abhi".

Shanaya stood outside looking at the building in front of her in confusion, she had no idea why Rohan brought her here.

Shanaya turned to Rohan and looked at him in confusion, "Rohan why did you bring me to the temple?".

Rohan didn't say anything, just held Shanaya's hand and took her in the temple with him. 

Shanaya quietly followed him by now she's used to mysterious Rohan, because usually wherever he takes her makes her really happy, something tells her this visit to the temple will also be making her happy. 

Rohan stood in front of Ganpati Bappa's idol and folded his hands in front of him, shocking Shanaya. Every time Shanaya brought Rohan to the temple he either didn't come in or if he came in he never prayed, so imagine her shock when Rohan was praying to Ganpati Bappa right now, this proves that miracles do exist. 

Shanaya put her hand on Rohan's shoulder, bringing his attention to her "Rohan are you okay?".

Rohan opened his eyes and turned to face Shanaya, "I'm fine Shanaya, why will you think something's wrong?".

"Well you told me you don't believe in God which is why you hardly enter the temple whenever we come here, but right now your here praying to him, why?".

Rohan gave Shanaya a small smile and held her hand, "Because you believe in him".

"Rohan don't change yourself for me, I love you the way you are, I don't care if you believe in God or not".

Rohan kissed the inside of Shanaya's palm, "I know you don't care, but slowly and surely I'm genuinely starting to believe in him".

Shanaya looked at Rohan in confusion, "How come?".

"Because of you Shanaya".

"Me?".

"I used to hate God because I blamed him for not giving me anyone who would love me for who I am, someone who would love me for me not because I'm Ashok Nanda's son or because I'm the popular guy in St Teresa, I hated him because he only gave me pain nothing else, because of that I also started to hate the concept of love".

Shanaya looked at Rohan with tears in her eyes, who knew the bad boy of St Teresa just wanted someone to love him, "After me giving up on him fully, your God decided to send you to me, Shanaya Singhania the girl who I decided to hurt because I wanted to hurt my rival, the girl who even if I tried to I couldn't hurt, he gave me the girl who didn't give up on me even when I was an asshole to her, he gave me someone who took care of me even I was an stubborn asshole, he gave me the girl who I would take a bullet for without even thinking for a second about it".

By now the tears that were in Shanaya's eyes were now spilling down her face, "Rohan you know you could of told me this in collage you didn't have to bring me here".

Rohan smiled and wiped Shanaya's tears, "I know I could have, but I wanted your God to be there when I say this".

"Say what?".

"Shanaya Singhania I love you so much, so much that I could never express in words, and today in front of your God I say that I will make Abhi lose, because without Shanaya Rohan is nothing, you are only mine, and I promise you infront of your God that I will fight for you till my last breathe".

Shanaya smiled and hugged Rohan, "I'm only yours".

While Rohan and Shanaya were busy hugging, they failed to see the flower fall from Ganpati Bappa's idol, looks like they have God's blessing.

After studying in the library for hours, all Rajat wanted to do now was go to his dorm and just sleep for as long as he can, but apparently his ex girlfriend couldn't let that happen. 

"Rajat!".

Rajat turned around to see a furious Rhea coming towards him, "Rhea, how can I help you today?".

Rhea glared at Rajat, "For the love of God Rajat, how can you let Abhi do such evil things to Rohan and Shanaya, I thought you were good dammit!".

Rajat looked at Rhea in confusion, having no idea what she was on about, "What the hell are you on about Rhea?".

"Oh don't pretend Rajat, your Abhi's best friend there's no way he didn't tell you about the bet and now this stupid competition he made".

"Rhea I genuinely have no idea what your on about".

Rhea looked at Rajat in shock, she has always been able to tell when he was lying to her, and right now she could tell he wasn't, "I can't believe this".

"Believe what".

"He didn't tell you, that mother fucker didn't tell you".

"Rhea chill with the swear words and tell me what didn't Abhi tell me".

"The guy who you call your best friend, who you think is a fucking Saint, is really a devil in disguise".

"Rhea either tell me everything clearly or leave because I don't have time for all this bullshit".

"You want to know then listen, do you remember when Abhi and Shanaya had a fight and Rohan went to confront him?", Rajat nodded in response, "Well your best friend was so insecure that he decided to make a bet, in which whoever makes Shanaya fall in love with them wins her and the other leaves her life forever, like she's an fucking object, and he forced Rohan to accept it".

Rajat looked at Rhea in shock, he couldn't believe his ears, that doesn't sound like Abhi at all, "And if making a bet wasn't enough, he heard Shanaya tell me and Jeet that she's in love with Rohan so you know what he decided to do, he decided to lie to Shanaya and blame the whole thing on Rohan, but even after all that Rohan and Shanaya become one, but how could Abhi let that happen because then he announced a competition, a fucking competition to snatch Shanaya from Rohan".

Rajat's mind went hazy, all this information was to much for him to handle, he had no idea if he should believe Rhea or not, his known Abhi for so long, he always wanted Shanaya to be happy, he couldn't be the reason as to why Shanaya's happiness gets snatched from her, right?.
