So this is something pretty different than what I usually tend to write. For once I've decided to try and write something with a focus on humor, and I can say that I've had a blast writing it!

Oh, and I don't usually do things like this, but I'll give a bit of an estimate of how the timeframe is in this story. This story takes place a few months after the events of S/M's post game while taking place a little over six months after the events of Sw/Sh's main story. The point is that Bede is still training to be a Gym Leader here; he hasn't taken over Opal's position like he has in the post game. I think Sw/Sh takes place after S/M, so yeah.

Besides a content warning for mild usage of swearing and some alcohol references, there's nothing else that you readers need to be wary of. This story exists for a good time! Now without further ado, let's get on with the story. I hope you all enjoy Rival Me This.
