summary
Lucia wasn't a perfect child. Definitely not for a wizarding family, to say at least. For the first nine years of her life everyone around thought she was a squib, and even when she learnt how to use magic - it was more than obvious she won't be a powerful witch.

That's also why she never went to Hogwarts - her parents decided it will be better for her to study at home.
She was sure that one day she is going to marry a muggle and live as one.

During summer, when Potters decided to pay a visit to her family, she grew closer to James, slowly falling in love with him, even though deep down she knew she would never be able to live as he did.
