Keiji, Akira, and Haru are stuck in a cage made of sand that's eating away at itself, causing the cage to shrink and squish its victims. Keiji and Akira will die if they don't find a way to get out, Haru on the other side will be sent back to the Summon Realm, along with Isamu if he becomes too exhausted in battle.

"Damn!" says Keiji as he grits his teeth. "What are we going to do?"

"All we can do now is hope," says Akira as she holds Keiji's hand and gives him a soft smile.

Keiji's cheeks turn a tint of pink as he agrees.

Tamaki rushes through the village, running in the opposite direction of the people. She stumbles upon Kichi instructing an old couple.

"Kichi!" yells Tamaki as she latches onto Kichi's arm and barries her face in it to get a good whiff of her scent. "You smell nice."

"Are you- Never mind, where have you been?" questions Kichi.

"Animal contract huntin', duh," scoffs Tamaki. "Anyways, what's goin' on?"

"Ocha Island is being attacked by a member of the Namida Organization, aka, the organization that Rain and Fuji are in," explains Kichi.

"What!?" yells Tamaki. "Then what are we waiting for? Let's go!"

Before Tamaki could start running, Kichi grabs her from behind and says, "Oh heck no. We were instructed to help the villagers get out of here as soon as possible, are you crazy?"

"Is that even a question?" questions Tamaki with a grin.

Kichi facepalms and sighs, "Jeez, why are you so optimistic, even when we could die?"

"Why are you such a stick in the mud?" questions Tamaki with another big grin.

Kichi sighs once again and says, "Alright, I will fight alongside you Tamaki, but only because I want to protect you."

"And there's nothin' wrong with that as long as you help me do the same for you, and everyone on this island. We don't trade lives for lives," replies Tamaki as she and Kichi begin running in the direction of the previous explosion.

"Isamu!" yells Keiji as his hands reach for his friend throughout the bars.

Isamu breathes heavily as he slowly gets up, "K-Keiji...I'm sorry..."

Buryuri grins as he lifts his right hand to create a spear made of sand.

"This may not kill you, but it will surely send you to the Summon Realm. You failure, you couldn't even sink your teeth into my skin to send your venom through my veins to activate your ultimate," scoffs Buryuri as he waves his right hand towards Isamu, sending the sandy spear to Isamu's chest.

Keiji moves his right hand to pull up a wall of rock. As Keiji's wall of rock rises, the sandy spear goes through it, still going to its target.

"Damn it... why am I tired all of a sudden?" mumbles Keiji as he slumps onto Akira's body.

"Keiji?" questions Akira as her eyes glance at Isamu, and back at Keiji.

. . .

A spear of water crashes into the spear of sand, causes both spears to disperse into the ground. Tamaki and Kichi jump in front of Isamu with a kunai in their right hand.

"Tamaki, Kichi?" questions Akira with shock.

"Don't worry Akira-Sensei, Tamaki and I are here to help," states Kichi a she throws her kunai at Buryuri.

Buryuri only smirks as he moves his right hand, causing the kunai to turn around and go after Kichi. Before Kichi could react, Isamu gets in front of Kichi and deflects the kunai with his stomach.

"He manipulates objects... careful..." grunts Isamu as his body disperses into particles.

"Isamu!" cries Akira-Sensei.

As Tamaki and Kichi look at Buryuri and vice versa, Akira tells Haru to return.

"But Miss Akira, I must continue to try and gnaw our way out," protests Haru.

"Haru, return, now," states Akira boldly.

"As you wish," says Haru.

POOF

A cloud is left from where Haru once was. Akira holds her right earring to summon Haru once again, except Haru appears outside of the cage in his human form.

"You're brilliant Miss Akira!" exclaims Haru as he holds Akira's hands and gives her a smile.

"Thank you, but it took me too long to realize that I could do that, however..." Akira falls next to Keiji's exhausted body.

"Miss Akira!" yells Haru with fear.

"However, I figured out that the cage damages a ninja's spiritual wave little by little. But when a ninja uses an ability that requires them to focus their spiritual wave, their spiritual wave is destroyed quickly," mumbles Akira as her eyes slowly blink.

"Oh no! Miss Akira, why didn't you have me heal both of your spiritual waves?" asks Haru frantically.

"Go... save them... first," mumbles Akira as she falls asleep.

"Miss Akira... I will not let you down," whispers Haru to himself as he glares at Buryuri with determination.

Haru runs over to Tamaki and Kichi and gives them the rundown on what Buryuri is capable of, and what is going on with Keiji and Akira-Sensei.

"Thank you, and may I ask one thing, who the heck are you?" questions Tamaki.

"I'm Haru, Akira-Sensei's mouse summon," answers Haru.

"Oh, okay, anyways, how do we beat this blind dude that can detect our presence?" questions Tamaki.

Another spear of sand is thrown at the little group. Haru kicks the spear away, and runs towards Buryuri. Buryuri waves his right hand multiple times, trying to catch Haru and stop him in his tracks. Buryuri fails to catch the agile rodent and is kicked into the water. Haru jumps back to create distance between him and Buryuri.

"Just as I thought," mumbles Haru.

Tamaki and Kichi run up to Haru's side.

"How can we help?" questions Kichi.

"Try to get him in the water, but please do not take any risks. Miss Akira and Keiji-Sensei would not appreciate such things," answers Haru.

"Yes sir," says Tamaki as she watches Buryuri walk out of the water completely soaked.

"Also, Kichi, if you're confident enough, use the water to your advantage. That water spear was excellent," notes Haru as he watches Buryuri immerge from the ocean and come back onto the shore.

"Huh? When'd ya learn how to manipulate water like that Kichi?" questions Tamaki.

"It's not guaranteed at the moment sadly enough. I'll explain more later when lives aren't on the line," answers Kichi as she pulls out a kunai and throws it at Buryuri, causing him to lose focus on the sand that he was controlling to attack Haru.

"You two should get out of my way while you can. I don't usually like picking on children, but I just might make an exception for you pests if you linger any longer," says Buryuri with an annoyed look.

"No way blind bat! You're the one that has to get outta our way!" yells Tamaki, not realizing that she was throwing gasoline into the already lit fire.

In other words, Tamaki was just making it worse by smack-talking Buryuri.

"Tch, suit yourself," mumbles Buryuri as he waves his hand, causing thin pillars of sand to rise in a circle around Tamaki and Kichi.

"No!" yells Haru in distraught as he starts to panic.

The difference would be that Tamaki and Kichi would not have a stone pillar clashing with the cage of sand, leading to the death of both of them.

"Boom," mumbles a familiar voice as balls of bread are thrown at the thin pillars that are still in the process of being made.

Multiple explosions occur; the cause being the balls of bread.

"The heck!" yells Tamaki as she turns to see Hammy. "What are you doing here?"

"Hiori told me that you two came over here, so I wanted to check if y'all were dead yet," stoically says Hammy.

"You're talking as if you had no faith in the beginning!" screams Tamaki.

Hammy only grunts before saying, "I'll keep his sand off of y'all."

"But can you keep it off of you?" yells Buryuri as a wall of sand begins to emerge from the ground surrounding Hammy.

Hammy quickly throws slices of bread at the sand coming for him and mumbles, "Boom." The sand rapidly falls to the ground. Tamaki and Kichi watch as Buryuri throws more sand at Hammy to only have the sand fall due to Hammy's bread-tastic explosions. However, Hammy wears a worried expression that Kichi can read.

Kichi makes eye contact with Tamaki, then moves her stare to Hammy and repeats the process. Then, after doing that four times, Kichi takes the palm of her hand and smacks the area above her chest and looks at Buryuri. Finally, she looks at Tamaki once again. Tamaki nods as if she understood what Kichi was implying.

To put it simply, Kichi figured out that Hammy was worried due to him being low on his explosive bread. So, she told Tamaki without saying a word so that Buryuri would not find out that Hammy is running low and take advantage of such misfortune on Hammy's side. She also signaled for Tamaki to back her up if anything goes wrong.

Before Kichi could do anything, Tamaki yells, "Hey blind bat! Pick on someone with your own idiocy!"

Buryuri stops the sand going for Hammy and directs it towards Tamaki.

"I'll go for you, you troublesome, ignorant, moron!" yells Buryuri with rage due to being called a blind bat once again.

"Are you an idiot?" questions Kichi with anger as she watches the sand fly through the air towards Tamaki.

"Nah, I'm Tamaki!" exclaims Tamaki as she grabs Kichi's wrist and drags her to the ocean.

"This seems very familiar," mumbles Kichi as she peels Tamaki's hand from her wrist and yells, "You don't want anything with her! Besides, I'm the one who came up with the idea of calling you a blind bat, you blind bat!"

"Shut up!" yells Buryuri with rage as he redirects his sand toward Kichi who splits from Tamaki and runs straight at Buryuri.

"The truth hurts! Doesn't it blind bat?" yells Tamaki once again, causing Buryuri to forget about Kichi and go after Tamaki once again.

Tamaki only stands as she watches the sand fly towards her. While Buryuri is blinded by rage and transfixed on Tamaki, Kichi runs as fast as she can towards Buryuri. Although Tamaki was idiotic and made herself a target, she knew how to distract Buryuri so that Kichi could easily make her way to Buryuri to strike him down.

Kichi Joten was not only known by her stinging roasts but her powerful punches too. It would make more sense for Kichi to be the one who would deal a sum amount of damage to Buryuri.

"You're mine!" yells Buryuri as he grins maniacally.

"Not today!" yells Kichi as she dashes at Buryuri and punches him into the water.

As soon as Buryuri hits the water, the sand that nearly killed Tamaki stopped immediately and fell.

"Oh wow, that's fun," mumbles Tamaki.

"Talk about cutting it close, Tamaki. What if I didn't make it in time? You know I would never forgive myself if anything happened to you," argues Kichi.

"I feel the same about you too, Kichi. But, I trust you- one-hundred percent. I know you'll always be there to help me," smiles Tamaki.

"Are you two love birds done? The sand resided and the cage is down, let's get Akira and Keiji-Sensei," yells Hammy.

"Shut up Hammy!" yells Tamaki with laughter.

Kichi meets up with Tamaki at the shoreline to high-five her while Hammy and Haru go over to Keiji and Akira-Sensei. Kichi's back is facing the sea while she and Tamaki are about to high-five. As Tamaki's hand is in the air with a smile plastered on her face, Kichi watches her ecstatic expression quickly turn panicked and wonders what is wrong. Tamaki motions her left arm to grab Kichi and pull her firmly while her other arm wraps around her blind spot to act as a shield.

Tamaki screams in pain as she feels a sharp blade pierce her right forearm. Everyone had completely forgotten Buryuri; giving him a chance to pop back up from the ocean and make an attempt to stab Kichi and possibly take her life. Tears pour from Tamaki's eyes as she tries her best to smile the pain away. She lets go of Kichi and firmly grips Buryuri's left wrist that holds the blade.

"See my smile? Of course you don't. It's not because you're physically blinded, it's because you're blinded by hatred and evil. Will going off on the power of hatred and evil last you forever? At least with happiness, you genuinely smile, even through the pain. It's because you know you're not alone, and that is why... I'm smiling," says Tamaki as she loosens her grip on Buryuri.

Before Buryuri could reply back, Kichi tackles him into the water and deals the final blow with a powerful punch to his head. This causes him to faint and just lay floating in the water. Kichi rushes over to Tamaki while calling Haru over. Haru quickly dashes to the two girls; leaving Hammy watch over the two sensei.

Haru analyzes the sharp blade and labels it as a small dagger.

"Bite on this," says Buryuri as he hands Tamaki a handkerchief that he pulled out of his pocket.

"Oh, is this gonna numb the pain through its magic or something? I bet the summon world has some weird magical stuff there," says Tamaki as she bites on the cloth.

Haru quickly takes out the dagger; causing Tamaki to flinch only a little. Haru takes the cloth from Tamaki's mouth and wraps it around her wound; safening it.

"That should keep it safe for now. We must go to wherever you guys were staying so that I can let Keiji and Akira rest while I clean and heal whatever I can of your wound. The bone should only have a small fracture, I was extremely careful and precise with the way I took out the blade. It'll only need a few days to rest, so do not do any tasks with this arm, or else it'll take it longer to heal," explains Haru as he walks over to Akira and Keiji-Sensei with Tamaki and Kichi following him.

Haru picks up Akira-Sensei and puts her on his back while Hammy does the same for Keiji-Sensei.

"We'll be at wherever you guys were staying- lead the way, Tamaki. Kichi, go find the others that were assisting with the evacuation and bring them to the meeting place. We will discuss things once Akira and Keiji wake up," says Haru as everyone does what they are told.
