Chapter 4: Trust that Gained and Bond that Formed
There will be violence and triggering words in this chapter. Please be advised that this was made to make the reader feel the emotions in the characters. I also copied the memory from {L_A_Studios} Akatsuki no Yona x Reader book 2 chapter 15. I only copied the part of when the group went to town. I did this because at the time I first made this, I couldn't remember what happened in the manga, I tried searching but I got lost in the many chapters in it.
But since I'm editing this now, I was able to find the chapter in the manga and make a few changes here and there. I did this not because I wanted to get more readers, I did this because It's the only memory in a book that I've found and remembered.
*Edit (8/12/18): L_A_Studios told me that it's okay for me to do this. I want to say that I'm really thankful that a great author like her allowed me to do so. So I want to say that you should really go follow her and check out her amazing books that are greater than mine. So go check her out and follow her. I advise you to read the Chapter of her Book so you'd know how amazing she did it.
3rd POV
It has been a year since (Y/N) met everyone and have been staying in the Wind Tribe. A lot of times, Mun-deok would always bring Hak and (Y/N) in his visits to the Castle for business matters, but he would also allow the two to be dropped off by him in the Castle. The General of the Wind Tribe noticed that Hak and (Y/N) were mostly happier when they get to the Palace to meet their friends. He also noticed that (Y/N) had shown more improvement of expressing her emotions ever since she met Yona and Soo-won, so it made sense to the old General to make (Y/N) and Hak go to the Castle whenever they can.
In this day, there was going to be a Five Tribe Meeting in Hiryuu Castle. So like always, Mun-deok brought with him his two grandchildren to meet with their friends. Mun-deok dropped off the two in the Castle gates when he saw that there were two other children waiting. Immediately when (Y/N) and Hak went down from Mun-deok's horse, they were individually hugged by the other two children; Soo-won tightly hugging Hak while (Y/N) was hugged by Princess Yona.
Mun-deok gave a short greeting to the Princess and her cousin, making them let go of the lifeless children from their death hug. After that, Mun-deok gave (Y/N) and Hak a reminder to stay in the Castle with the other two until he takes them back to their home. The responsible pair of the group nodded their heads, earning a nod back from their Gramps, giving them a goodbye before he went to the Five Tribe Meeting. The two were then dragged by the other pair to Yona's room, where they would sometimes go to if they didn't want to play on the Castle grounds.

"It's always lively outside the Castle. It's brighter than the stars in the sky. I wonder what's happening..." Yona looked out of the open window of her room, a curious look on her face as she was staring at the town.
"The usual maybe, since there's nothing special happening today. They're just being happy with their lives." (Y/N) informed the Princess, laying down on the floor of the room beside her.
She wasn't afraid of her kimono getting dirty, especially since the floor was cleaned everyday, as to be expected from a Princess's room.
"Yona, you've never been to the town of the Castle?" Yona looked to her back to see Soo-won, asking her with a smile on his face.
(Y/N) was still on the floor, just listening to the conversation like she had given up on life and resorted to laying on the ground all day as if she were dead. The (H/C) haired girl just wanted to rest a bit, especially since all (Y/N) and Hak did the past week was train their bodies until they had no energy left; so all (Y/N) wanted to do before they would go back to the house and train again, was to relax and just be with her friends.
"The Princess has no sense of direction, so she'd get lost." Hak teased the Princess, making the said Princess stand up and throw random objects to the male in annoyance.
"Who has no sense of direction?!"
"I'm glad you two are such good friends." This made (Y/N) snicker as to what the oblivious Soo-won said to the fighting pair.
"How can you see it like that, Soo-won?!"
The two went on and on with their fight, ending it in exhaustion after it had been a mere five minutes of ducking and throwing. Yona sat on the floor again beside (Y/N), that was still laying on the ground with a few objects on top of her (F/C) kimono because of their fight. (The picture at the top is what you're wearing today.)
"I've only seen the Castle's town from here. Father says I can't go because it's dangerous." Yona looked down on her lap, a sad expression formed on her face after what she said.
"Is that true?" Soo-won asked the crimson haired Princess.
"Yes."
A moment of silence passed, making Yona take a glance on the window with the sad look that was still on her face. Soo-won then got an idea, making him speak up with his cheery voice.
"Do you want to go?"
"Huh?"
"Do you want to go see the Castle's town?"
"I...I can't! Father has forbidden me from doing that, because it's dangerous outside!" Yona instantly refused the idea.
"If that's the case, then Gramps wouldn't allow us to go with him outside if that is true." (Y/N) raised her (F/C) elbow length gloved hand from the ground, startling the three as they sweat dropped that she still didn't moved from her place on the floor.
"First of all, I don't really...want to go outside." Yona tried to convince them, which the two males only stared at her from her horrible lying.
(Y/N) gave a long sigh, just now sitting up from her place, the objects on her body falling beside her as she looked at Yona that was to her left.
"Shall we go?" (Y/N) asked with a neutral expression, in which the Princess only gave an embarrassed nod for an answer.
This is the moment where four childhood best friends sneak out to play in the Castle's town.

(Y/N)'s POV
The two males of the group smiled as they saw how amazed Yona was at what outside the walls of Hiryuu Castle looked like, while I stared at Yona with happiness showing in my eyes knowing that we made someone very happy today.
"There's so many people!" Yona cheered excitedly.
"There's a Five Tribe Meeting going on right now. Let's play around until the meeting ends." Soo-won cheerfully chirped, in which me, Hak, and Yona agreed.
"But you know some bizarre secret pathways, huh?" I questioned the overly excited blonde.
"It's a daily adventure!" Grinned Soo-won.
"Do you come here often?" Yona curiously questioned her friends.
"Gramps brings me once in a while, we even went here recently with (Y/N). We bought new target practices that someone broke." Hak said before sending me with a weak glare, making me laugh nervously.
"It took us hours to find new target practices, we eventually found one for 5 hours of searching straight and walking tiredly." I said while rubbing my neck awkwardly. Hak gave an annoyed sigh before Soo-won spoked up.
"That sounds great. I want to come with General Mun-deok, too!"
"It's just noisy." Hak stated as he sweatdropped at Soo-won's reaction. This caused a small giggle to escape from me.
"You mean that you two fall into a fight in the middle of town." I stated, having to see this happen on our visit recently.
"How about you Soo-won?" Yona asked, glancing at her cousin.
"I've come just a few times." Soo-won told her.
"Alright then, now let's go, let's go!" Yona said excitedly while pointing at a random direction.
As the group began to walk through the crowd, I held onto the sleeve of Hak's outfit, before tugging on it to gain his attention.
"Take care of Yona-hime." I whispered, motioning towards the red haired female who was trying to see from the taller adults in her way.
I told him this because I could feel that something bad was going to happen and was concerned for my best friends. Hak looked at me, his eyes showing that he was concerned for my well being as well, before nodding as I let go of his sleeve. I watched him go to Yona's side and talk to her.
"Here." I jumped by the sudden voice.
I looked at my side to see Soo-won which made me surprised, seeing his arm held out to me.
"So you don't get lost." He smiled in a shy manner.
I nodded back at the blonde male with a not so noticeable smile while hesitantly grabbing his hand.
"Thank you." I said shyly but with gratitude, he smiled and nodded at me.
I looked around and saw that Yona and Hak were way ahead of us now.
"H-hey, wait up guys!" Soo-won exclaimed, seeing Hak with Yona beginning to get far away, the crowd of people starting to get in the way to separate them.
The two paused, almost instantly, and Soo-won tugged my hand through the crowd, grabbing onto Hak's hand with his hand that wasn't holding mine. I could now see that Hak was carrying the small crimson haired Princess by his shoulders, it was so cute.
"Haha~ It's almost like having an older brother." The blonde couldn't help but to laugh as he grinned giddily at Hak.
"Oh? Oh... Well, in Fuuga, there are a lot of smaller kids. You guys are easy compared to them." Hak admitted, glancing at Soo-won and me seeing that we were holding hands, he just glanced straight ahead with an expression I couldn't read.
"Hey, Hak, what's that?" All of us glanced in the direction that Yona was pointing to see dough balls on a frying pan.
"It's the first time I've seen food like that." The young red haired princess explained while pouting as she heard my quiet giggle of amusement.
"Do you want to try it?" Soo-won offered.
"Welcome! These are deep-fried dumplings, and they're good!" The vendor smiled brightly at the young group that were staring at the food he was selling.
"I can't eat this stuff. The poison taster isn't here either, I'll be scolded by Father." Yona murmured to her friends with a hint of embarrassment.
"Then I'll taste it for you." I offered.
"Huh?!" Soo-won and Yona shouted in surprise.
"Tasting a dumpling isn't that big of a challenge as you make it seem to be." Hak with a dumbfounded face, but I just shrugged my shoulders.
All of us seeming to be completely oblivious to the vendor's confusion about his food being 'poisoned'. As I put one of the dumplings into my mouth, Soo-won suddenly pushed everyone down to the ground.
"Get down!" The blonde exclaimed.
"What's wrong?!" Yona questioned, looking a bit upset that they were pushed onto the ground.
The princess wasn't on Hak's shoulders anymore as she landed on the ground in front of me.
"It's Joo-doh." Soo-won stated, as if it explained everything.
We then glanced from our hiding spot to see the angry expression of a tall man who has brown eyes and a scowl painted on his face. He had messy, short black hair with fringes that is parted in half. The man Soo-won called Joo-doh was marching around, no doubt in search for the lost princess and the three of us.
"Where are those damned brats?!"
"Captain, please watch your tongue..."
"Joo-doh's a quick-tempered person, isn't he?" Hak asked sarcastically.
But when I tried to laugh, I started to choke on my fried dumpling that I swallowed whole while I was still chewing.
"(Y/N)!" Hearing Yona's sudden startled cry, the group glanced at me when I started to cough roughly while holding my neck and covering my mouth, feeling the dumpling stuck in my throat.
"Is this...Poison?!" Soo-won dramatically questioned.
"Is it poison?!" Yona was as shocked as her cousin.
"This is terrible! She has to throw up! Yona! Hold her up so I can hit her in the stomach!" Soo-won then ordered.
"Got it!" Yona immediately grabbed my shoulders, but before Hak could stop the two now idiots, I shouted at Soo-won making him stop his punch.
"Stop!" I choked out then started to cough roughly even more.
As the vendor from the stall offered me a cup of water, I eagerly downed it, looking annoyed at the pair while Soo-won and Yona wailed in happiness that I wasn't poisoned.
"Understood. You guys are more trouble than the kids back home." Hak said in annoyance as he looked at the two that were overly happy after what happened.
"-So?"
We then all froze as we felt a dark aura surrounding us, making us glance at the angry looking vendor.
"You're making a complete ruckus in front of my store with talks of poison and what-not. Do you brats have any money?" He menacingly questioned.
"Money... Soo-won, do you have any?" Hak questioned the royal boy.
"Huh? I always have some but..."
"In other words, you're saying you don't have any now?" The vendor huffed.
"Understood! Come to the castle later-!" I immediately covered Yona's mouth, the vendor, looking shocked at us.
"What did you say about the castle?" The vendor, looking once more completely confused, asked.
"Please wait a moment." Soo-won eagerly stated, before rushing off towards an older gentleman who waved back to him.
We all were shocked as Soo-won eagerly rushed back and handed money over to the vendor.
"Here's eighty Rin. Please give us fifteen more dumplings!" He happily exclaimed.
"What's the deal with that old man from before?" Hak narrowed his eyes skeptically at his childhood friend.
"A kind old man gave it to me." Soo-won smiled innocently.
"Why did that old man give you money?!" Hak and me questioned being the responsible pair of the small group.
But we weren't responsible enough to think about facing hell if Gramps were to know that we went into town.

"It's delicious, what did they put inside?" Soo-won questioned as we were all eating the delicious dumplings that now had filling in it.
"He put plum bean jam inside these right? I've only tried it for a few times, but it's delicious every single time!" I said as I was enjoying the food, smiling widely as I took another bite of the steaming deliciousness.
"Yeah, the jam is good." Hak said with a smile of his own, in which soon changed when it looked like he remembered something.
"Wait, forget that. What about that old man from befo-" But before Hak could continue his sentence, Soo-won cut him off.
"Yona, is it good?" Soo-won asked, making us all look over at the Princess on our side.
Her cheeks were stuffed with the jam filled dumplings, her eyes were so bright with joy. Making her look a bit like an adorable squirrel that was happily eating. I hugged Yona by her back, placing my gloved hands around her neck as I gently placed my chin on top of her head.
"You look like a squirrel, you're so cute Yona~." Soo-won said as he moved to stand beside me as he complimented the cute Princess.
"You're cramming your cheek pouch with the food too much, you'll choke." Hak said towards Yona, making him then look at the older male vendor.
"Old man, give us some tea."
"Aren't you guys unrestrained! You brats..."
I just relaxed on Yona-hime for a minute longer, not placing all of my weight on her as I didn't want to be heavy on her. I smiled as I felt Yona sink into my arms a bit.

"The music of that musician earlier was pretty. I want to let Father listen to it!" Yona happily exclaimed as we once more began to roam the streets.
"I want to listen to it with my father, too!" Soo-won happily cheered, making me confused at Hak's weird expression on his face.
"Umph!" I suddenly grunted as I ran into someone's back.
"Hey, you." A stern voice sneered, causing me to glance up with a confused expression as I stared at the silver haired male.
He doesn't look like he's from our clan, so who is this person? I tilted my head at the male as he spoke.
"Hm? Kids? Don't you have something to say about bumping into me?" He questioned, before glancing at Yona with a look of his own confusion.
"I've seen your faces somewhere." He stated.
"Sorry, she's my cousin. Please pardon her." Hak said while holding his right arm up in front of me and glaring at the man, while Soo-won stood in front of Yona protectively.
"I will not!" The unknown male exclaimed.
"Because I am the second son of the Fire Tribe's general, Kan Tae-jun!" He placed his hands on his hips in a smug style.
But we didn't notice that he had a tickmark that appeared on his cheek as he noticed us playing with an oh so adorable kitten.
"Listen to me, you little brats!" He shouted, before grabbing at the front of Hak's shirt.
"If I tell my father about you, you'll get one-hundred lashings!" I scowled and pulled Hak back, with a strength that made the male before us surprised.
I stood in front of him in a protective stance, while my blank face returned but with anger and my covered arms crossed over my chest.
"Sorry. There, I said it." The coldness would have caused Tae-jun to shudder in fear if I wasn't a child, and if he wasn't stupid.
"It's 'Lord Tae-jun, I apologize. Please have it in your heart that's deeper than the sea to forgive us!' Kneel on the ground!" The older male ordered.
"I'm sorry." I, once more, repeated.
"You're pissing me off, kid!" Tae-jun complained.
"Master Tae-jun, calm down. I'll give you a dumpling." Soo-won attempted to calm me down and the young lord.
"That's a waste of food, though." Hak stated.
"I don't want it, anyways!" Tae-jun shouted at Hak, making his attention to me move to the two males that were trying to calm him down/make him go away.
I then noticed that there was a missing presence and immediately searched for Yona when Hak and Soo-won were distracted by the angry Tae-jun. I saw in the distance that Yona was walking away from us and to a dark alleyway, I could tell that she was distracted by something. I immediately ran in her direction and stopped at her side when she was just standing there.
"Yona-hime, what are you doing?! The others are going to be worried sick that we left without saying anything!" I scolded the crimson haired girl, but I noticed that she wasn't paying any attention at me and kept looking straight.
I looked at where Yona was staring and saw a man talking with someone about kidnapping a crimson haired female and sell her for a lot of money. My eyes widened when I heard that, since Yona was the only crimson haired female here, they were obviously talking about her. I immediately reacted and grabbed Yona's hand and ran to our original place, but I suddenly stopped when I heard a muffled cry. I turned around and saw a large dark skinned man holding Yona's mouth with his hand.
I immediately punched the man's face with rage in my punch. I went to grab Yona when he let go of her, but I was grabbed by the other man. I punched and kicked and tried to call for help, but his hand covered my mouth. The man that was holding Yona before punched her temple hard enough to make her pass out. This made me become worried for Yona and angry that they even dared to do that.
I held my kidnapper's hand that was holding my mouth, not even caring that his sleeve was burning from just seconds of the contact of my hands, and that my right hand was able to burn the wrist part of my gloves. He immediately dropped me from his hold and started screaming from the flames that were on his left arm. I ran up to the bastard than knocked Yona out of consciousness, seeing him freeze up from shock from what I did, giving me the opportunity to grab his shirt and watch it burn. The gloves on my arms burning as well as I could only see the fire increase a bit on my arms but it did by a lot on the bastard's clothes. He started to scream like his partner when I didn't let go of him, the flames only starting to grow and grow on his body.
But before I could even see him burn alive, I felt something hard hit the back of my head. I then fell to my side, my vision going blurry as all I could see was the burning fire at his feet. I could feel myself falling into darkness while I saw the fire disappear, probably because the other bastard somehow got water to put it out.
Hak, Soo-won... Please help us, save Yona... Leave me if it means saving her... I could feel myself losing consciousness on the damp and dirty ground.

I woke up from my unconscious state and was confused to see that I was trapped inside a small bag that was really tight and felt that we were being carried in a vehicle of some sort. I then immediately realized that my knees were pressed against my chest, my wrists were tied together in front of my knees, with my ankles in the same fate as my wrists are in. The bag was wet for some reason, it smelled like some kind of oil, maybe fish oil since it smelled like something died in here. My memories of today flashed straight to my mind, remembering what happened to Yona and what I did to the older men.
So that's why, in case that I tried to burn this bag, I'll be burned alive with them. For people with stupid ways of getting money, they are smart at being a nuisance. It's too bad that I don't know if fire even affects my whole body, I wasn't able to try before. So even if I try now, this bag can burn me alive faster than I scream 'help' at the top of my lungs. I didn't have any better ideas, so I just started kicking the bag and screaming Yona, Hak, and Soo-won's names. I tried screaming louder but the piece of cloth wrapped around my mouth was tied tightly so that you could only hear muffled screams, and I couldn't even remove it due to my tied up state.
I continued screaming, trying to get some help if there were people that could give it. I felt that more liquid, which I assumed is fish oil, being poured in my bag. This made me not being able to scream continuously because I might choke on the oil. I just closed my mouth, biting the cloth down and held my breath. I heard the people carrying us laughed proudly at what they thought and did. I growled at them, but soon stayed quiet when another splash of oil came down on my face to my already soaked clothes.
It was no use... I couldn't even burn free from my restraints, since I could potentially burn myself alive. I couldn't even scream for help because I might choke from the bastards that was trying to drown me with damn fish oil. So this is my faith, I'm going to be trapped in a damn sack, useless and powerless to help Yona, only because I used my damn powers on the men! If only I didn't acted first, I could've still had a chance to burn the ropes tied to me and find a way to escape with Yona.
Fear was starting to take over me; what if they were going to sell us and turn us into slaves? What if they were going to separate me and Yona?! I could feel the bag starting to get very hot as every awful situation that could happen was circling around my inner thoughts. Why did I stopped to scold Yona?! I should've grabbed her immediately when I was at her side, none of this would have happened if it wasn't for me... I will always be a problem to everyone... I didn't noticed that my bag suddenly cooled down as I was crying, knowing that there was no more hope.
Wait, why am I giving up? No one ever gave up on me, I was always the one that gave up on me... I should have hope, I should always have hope. I know that Hak and Soo-won is out there searching for us, not giving up and having hope that they'll find us, because they care. They do and always will... they have from the start. When Hak knew more about me, he started caring for me in his own way, Yona showed me that she cared by including me in their conversations when she sees me left out and showing happiness when I can help her in girl related stuff, and Soo-won showed me by saying it to me and treating me like I was already part of the family when he first saw me. I should have hope and try to find another way to free us. As I was thinking an idea came to my mind, which was a bit stupid, but an idea nontheless.
I started to move the cloth in my mouth, trying to cover my mouth instead of just biting down on it. It fully covered my mouth now, not caring if it had of oil and saliva on it. I took in a deep breath, trying to calm down my nerves to do it properly. I started humming the song as loud as I can, the song that Mommy created for me before everything happened... I quickly ignored my spreading sadness and focused on the song, trying my best to do it in this state. I was actually surprised when they weren't even trying to pour oil on me, I guess they were either enjoying my song so much that they didn't mind, or they thought what I was doing was harmless and that they didn't want to waste anymore oil on me.
I was singing the song so that I could be slightly relaxed and comforted by what's happening, but that wasn't really the case. I could hear that we were on the streets with many people on it, it was wiser to just scream for help, but I was sure that they would just drown me then since I wasn't actually supposed to be kidnapped too. So instead of potentially drowning myself, I was sending a private message to Hak, in hopes that he would hear me hum the song over and over again to help us.
3rd POV
Hak and Soo-won were able to get some help from an adult male named Ogi. Ogi is a scruffy man with long, wavy, light-colored hair that he wears in a messy half-ponytail. He wears loose robes and beard cropped shorts. He was basically the face of the East District's Underside, in other words his help is very much needed from the pair. Soo-won was able to convince Ogi to help him, thus providing them with the help they are now currently receiving.
"We're looking for girls at the age of six and nine. The younger one has curly red hair up to her shoulders and a peach colored kimono, while the older girl has (H/L) (H/C) hair and a (F/C) kimono with (F/C) colored gloves." Ogi placed his palm on his forehead, as he was very stressed.
"So the older one's named (Y/N)... What's the other girl's name?" Ogi looked to his back as he asked 'Won', a different name that Soo-won gave to himself when he first met them.
Soo-won made an 'X' with his hands over his head, a serious expression on his face. He did this because he didn't want them to know that they were actually searching for Yona, the Princess of Kouka Kingdom.
"She's nameless! Do they have any other features?" Ogi asked the young male pair.
"The (H/C) haired one has a stoic or neutral expression on her face, while the other one-" Hak was then cut off by the happy male by his side.
"Has eyes that are large and cute!"
"Is that going to help at all...?" Hak dead panned at his companion's answer.
"Alright boys! Look for two girls with a stoic or neutral face and with eyes that are large and cute." Ogi told his large group that were gathered around them and in different places.
"Yeah!"
"There's a chance they ran into some kidnappers... Move carefully!"
"Yes!"
Ogi's group started to spread out and look for (Y/N) and Yona, with Hak and Soo-won helping them too. Different people would go to Soo-won or 'Won' and tell him any information that they got about the missing girls, as requested from Ogi himself that his group must do. While Hak was searching on a roof, Hak then found out from someone that Soo-won had also requested something of Ogi to do.
"A blockade?" Hak asked the adult male that was beside him.
"Yeah. At the Eastern Gate and Communication Passage. They're going to search people's luggage."
Hak was clearly amazed by what he heard, he knew that Soo-won had talents of his own. It made Hak respect Soo-won even more when he could see that he could get people to listen to him by just a few words. Hak jumped down the roof carefully, going to the direction of where he saw Soo-won crouched down on a solid fence.
"We're currently searching for people around the Eastern Gate and Communication Passage." Soo-won informed his friend as soon as he was in front of him.
"So you're looking for suspicious people?"
"If they really did get kidnapped, they shouldn't be harmed by them."
"We'll definitely find (Y/N) and Yona." Hak said with hope as he extended his fist out to him.
"Of course." Soo-won said with determination as he pumped his fist to Hak's.
'(Y/N). Princess. Be safe...' The two thought with hope in their hearts.

Hak was searching in the crowd of where they made a blockade. He was searching for a large dark skinned man that he was told by Soo-won to be the kidnapper of (Y/N) and Yona. As Hak was in the middle of the crowd, he found a man with the description he was looking for.
'Found him! A large dark skinned man!' Hak thought with a look of anger.
"Stop!" And at once, Hak jumped on the man's back as his arms were wrapped on his neck in case he needed to choke him.
"Wha-?! What is going on?!"
"Hm?" Hak dead panned as he was confused.
The dark skinned man had brown almond eyes and long, untidy, brown hair. His fringe covers most of his forehead and some of its strands hang to the sides of his face.
"What? You're the Earth Tribe's..." Hak trailed off as he was surprised to see the Earth Tribe's chief.
"Aren't you General Mun-deok's brat?" Geun-tae asked as he sweat dropped at the child on his back that was staring at his face.
"What are you doing here? What about the meeting?"
"It finished. I'm going back home now. If you want a piggy back ride, ask General Mun-deok. He'll be happy..." Geun-tae said but Hak wasn't paying any attention to him anymore.
He was staring at another large dark skinned man that was carrying a cart with an annoyed face.
"We should stop by to buy more. The four bottles we bought are already empty."
"Yeah, it's annoying that she's doing it for over an hour already. We need to get more if we want to make it stop."
As soon as the two men walked past the two, Hak heard something that made him go wide-eyed.
•••
"What are you humming too?"
"Why do you ask?"
"I've heard you either sing or hum that song many times now, (Y/N). Whenever you're in your bedroom, I can hear you sing that song."
"So you're saying you're listening to me in my room?"
"I'm in the rooom beside you."
"Oh, right..."
"Are you at least going to tell me what that song is?"
"If it gets you to stop bothering me when I'm cooking, then fine- I'll tell you. This song that I always either sing or hum, I'm actually also trying to practice whistling it. It's actually harder to whistle than people make it look, like-"
"(Y/N)."
"Oh sorry, I got a little off topic there. Hehe... My song was actually made by my mother, she would always sing it to me before I go to sleep. The song has a very special place in my heart, so I sing it everytime I miss them, get a bit stressed out, or when I have a hard time falling asleep. So I'm sorry if it starts to annoy you, but it's mostly the one thing that my mother gave to me that I'm willing to remember for all of my life...
"(Y/N)..."
"I know, I know, I shouldn't cry since I'm trying to cook and all."
"I think you should-"
"But I just wanted to tell you how much the song means to-"
"It's burning."
"Burning? What do you mean it's- Oh no! My chicken strips! It's burning! Quick! Get the piece of cloth by the cupboard before we burn down the house!"
•••
Hak jumped onto the cart with a wooden crate and a tied sack where the humming came from, making him land on it with a loud thud. The two men that the cart belonged to looked surprised at the young black haired male that jumped on it.
"Who's this brat...!" The one with the large dark skinned man asked his partner, only a few people could see that his shoes were for some unknown reason looked like they had burn marks on them.
"I'm going to inspect your luggage."
"Ah! S-Stop it!"
