Someone Is Probably Going to Die For This
"What on Earth-!"
Hestia jerked awake. "What is it?" She called to her sister, who slept into he room next to her.
"Zeus! Did he think this was a good idea?" Demeter was yelling. Hestia got out of bed, quickly changing out of her pajamas and heading for the hallway.
"What is it, Demeter?" She called.
"Come see for yourself!" Demeter snapped. Hestia pushed Demeter's door open and went into her sister's room. Her eyes widened.
"What the hell? Demeter-"
"Yeah, I know! I look like a teenager again!" Demeter turned. "Oh! So do you!"
Hestia hurried over to the mirror and looked at her reflection. She gaped at her now teenaged self. She looked like... Well, she looked like her siblings. Her and Demeter were almost identical now, except Demeter's hair was blonde and hers was black.
"Okay, we need to talk to our younger brother. C'mon!" Hestia pulled her sister to Zeus' section of the palace. She knocked on her brother's door.
"Zeus!" She called. The door opened.
"What's going on- oh, gods." Hestia faltered upon seeing her brother.
"What? Uh, why do you look like a teenager?" Zeus demanded.
"Uh, Zeus? Looked in a mirror lately? We though you did it... but obviously you didn't!" Demeter blurted out. Zeus narrowed his eyes.
"What do you mean?" He rushed into his bathroom to look in his mirror. "I-" He whirled around, enraged. "Is this some kind of-!"
Suddenly, Hades burst into the room. "What's going on, and why am I here?" He demanded. "And why do I look like a teenager?"
Persephone was following behind him. "Mom! I'm a teenager again!"
Hades sighed, looking over at her. "I told you to wait outside with-"
Poseidon barged in. "I'm a teenager again! And more importantly, my hair is blue!" He yelled.
Hestia winced. "And you just woke up all of Olympus."
"Okay, why are we all in my room? Everyone to the throne room!" Zeus called.
And so, all the Olympians met in the throne room, plus Persephone, Hades, and Hestia. Everyone was back to their teenage phase- Artemis and Apollo looked alike again, both with their blonde hair. They were arguing, of course. Hermes was scrawny, Hephaestus looked more or less the same, just a bit smaller. Dionysus looked like a demigod again, though Hestia was fairly certain he was still a god. Hera looked a lot like Hades, just not a pale, and her hair was longer, of course. Hades sat next to Hestia by the hearth, his arms crossed. Persephone sat at the foot of her mother's throne.
Zeus stood. "Okay, who is responsible for this?" He demanded. Silence. You could hear crickets chirping in the background. Artemis hissed at her brother to stop with the ridiculous sound effects. "No one here? Well, what could we do? I don't actually know how to reverse this." Zeus said.
Athena, whose hair was longer, and blonde, stood. "We should all stay here until we've mastered our powers again." She said pointedly, glancing around the room. "It's dangerous to try and strike out on our own. We don't know who's behind this. They may be trying to weaken us. It's imperative that we regain our former strength."
Artemis nodded. "Speaking of which, any ideas on reversing this? I've already tried to age myself back up. I don't think any of us will be able to."
"I know someone who might be able to," Demeter shifted uncomfortably as every eye in the room turned to her, "but I don't know where she is. Not here, it seems"
"Are you going to tell us who or just leave us in suspense?" Dionysus snapped, his voice full of sarcasm.
"Hecate, she's the goddess of magic. Titaness, technically. We're friends, so hopefully she will agree to help us." Demeter responded.
"I agree, this is something she would be knowledgeable about." Hades nodded in agreement.
"Alright, then. I suppose that will do. Demeter, you try and contact Hecate. In the meantime, we'll all see how much control over our magic we retained and try to master our abilities again." Zeus said confidently. "Dismissed."
And with that, the gods of Olympus dispersed.
