After he had sat contemplating life for a while he proceeded to check his phone only to his dismay there were multiple missed call as messages from his so call 'parents'

You see when Izuku was 4 he was diagnosed quirkless Izuku was heartbroken and although his mother originally stayed by his side although she no longer supported his dreams to become a hero

However, his best friend katsuki Bakugou (or as Izuku reference to him as 'kacchan' who later becomes one of his boyfriends) begins to refer to Izuku as Deku a term meaning useless the name becoming the foundation that the majority of his insults are built off and his father (Hisashi Midoriya) quickly abandoned and disowned him slowly breaking away at Inko midoriya's resolve. Demanding that Inko (Izuku's mother) stops choosing there son over there him giving her tasks to get him to come back

They started 'small' like having her not letting Izuku go out for a day or only refering to him by his real name and no nicknames eventually they got more severe like locking him in a broken down fridge in an unused to 'protect' him from dieing because he wanted to become a hero

Although Inko was a desperate women at the time she truly believe she was helping her son so after Hisashi suggested that she just kills him she refused

And got better for a short period of time before she fell into depression and began to truly hate Izuku for keeping her away from her (manipulative husband) love of her life and began to neglected Izuku occasionally hitting him

After Izuku had turned 6
Hisashi decided that this could be of use to him so he gave Inko a way to communicate with the League Of Villains (LOV) and told her that if she sold her son to them to prove that he is more important to her that the 'quirkless disappointment'

Inko jumped at the chance
And so Izuku was withdrawn reported missing the after one yeah after being taken by Inko's 'bestfriend' requested a wellfair check up on Izuku as a way to stop her son Katsuki Bakugou from asking. She never once suspected anything was truly wrong

Inko claimed that Izuku hadn't come 'home' since yesterday and played the part of a worried mother)
