Izuku needed an escape from his ,'family' and from the pressure he pushes upon himself to o achieve in school as no one else could care less about the quirkless kid especially the teachers who pointedly ecnore him only somewhat exknowledgeing him to mark him down on tests or punish him from work he did multiple times due to it getting destroyed being stolen and not given in or going ' missing in questionable at best curcomstances'

For him his boyfriends offered that escape a chance to feel wanted and not the useless hindrence that his parents made him feel like.a chance to feel human

That was until recently, his boyfriends have been acting differently recently they have been distancing themselves from him and while he hoped that it was nothing Izuku knew that it wasn't.

But just because it wasn't much of a suprise to him when they broke up with him claming that he was hiding secrets from them and that they couldn't trust him it didn't make it any easier.

And at the end of the day he couldn't bring himself to explain his mental state to them he couldn't bring himself to risk losing them completely and have them finally understand how much of a hindrence he truly was and abandon him like so many had before

So here he is laying in his bed staring at his seeling looking seemingly emotionlessly if not for the steady stream of tears falling from his bloodshot eyes

trying to yet again escape, escape from the looks of discussed, pity or just from his reality.

Resisting the erge to slice his wrist in hopes of gaining some sort of control over the pain he was feeling and block out the voices in his head
