My eyes widened at the view of that thing! It was a huge Wolf like demon with razor like teeth. His crimson eyes stared right Into the pale moonlight and my hands felt tingly, so I tightened my grip on the sword - I had to be patient.

It rose it's nose in the air and started sniffing, it's head whipped over to where Inosuke was, it must have smelled him! The demon started rushing to his tree so I jumped on it's back from above "where do you think you're going?" I growled and stabbed it's throat with my sword. The demon roared loudly and tried throwing me off his back with rolling and jumping around. I held tightly onto it's furr and stabbed it's side once again, to slow it down. Unfortunately I lost my grip when it slammed itself against a tree with me between. The air got punched out of my lungs and I coughed out "YN!" "I AM FINE TANJIRO! GO FOR ITS NECK!" I quickly stood up and dodged some branches that flew in our directions, that demon threw literal trees at us!?

No it didn't throw them? They just came flying..then a rock hit my cheek. That demon controlled the forest!

"WATCH OUT! IT CONTROLLS THE FOREST SURROUNDING US, THAT IS A HUGE DISADVANTAGE!"

They nodded and Zenitsu helped me backing up Tanjiro from the incoming obstacles.

"Water breathing second form: Lateral Water Wheel" I watched how he leaped and horizontally spinned forward in the air while releasing a flowing attack in a circular motion. The slash hit the demons neck but was too weak to decapitate it. But it was powerful enough to push the demon back and to make it stumble. "GET HERE!" I told Zenitsu and Inosuke who were also busy defending  Tanjiro. They quickly stepped behind me " Flame breathing! Fourth form Blooming Flame Undulation!" I quickly swung my blade in a circular motion to defend them from incoming attacks and aimed for decapitating it in the same time.

A happy yell escaped my lips when the slash hit the demons neck and it fell over, but to my surprise it's head was still attached "this is a hard nut to crack - my turn!" And with that Inosuke dashed forward with both his swords and stabbed the neck of the demon who still laid on the floor "are you seriously trying to RIP THE HEAD OFF?" I yelled at him in disbelief "OF COURSE!" He laughed out in menacing chuckles and pulled and thrusted his swords in the neck of the demon, but just as fast as he stabbed the demon he was sent back flying backwards. The demon was now angrier than before.

It roared again and dashed towards Zenitsu, who cowered in fear. I gasped and quickly ran towards him, sliding infront of him and dodging the claws of that demon with my sword, our faces were so close now.

I smelled its breath and it felt mine. We stared at each other with gritted teeth and I pushed it back with all my strength. "DONT YOU KNOW ITS UNFAIR TO ATTACK SMALLER ONES!" I went into stance and glared at it "Mess with someone your size" I smiled and signalled it to attack already. "Zenitsu, help Tanjiro and Inosuke!" And with that he ran off from behind me.

Me and the demon never broke eye contact and I was relived that the boys got my back, I couldn't possibly fight the demon and the flying trees and rocks surrounding me. The blood shot eyes of the demon glared daggers in my soul, I felt my breathing fastening and intimidated.

We walked now in circles, the demon growled loudly at me and I glared at it in response, I waited for it to strike and it finally did. It threw a rock at me and when I dodged that, it jumped me. I quickly jumped aside but it's claws scratched me arm unfortunately. "Fuck!" I yelped and held my bleeding arm. Just when I looked back up it jumped me again, this time I bent lower and took my sword, releaseing an arching sword slash upwards. "Flame breathing Second Form: Rising Scorching Sun!". The slash hit its neck deeply, I just had to push harder and I could do it. Just when I wanted to strike again a branch hit my head from behind, making me stumble forward, "HEY!" "SORRY YN MY FAULT! I AM TRYING MY BEST" Zenitsu yelled while still defending and slicing down the flying obstacles. I darted my attention back to the demon throwing a big rock after me. I quickly jumped aside and used the speed boost to dash towards it. I charged and aimed for its neck once again.

"OKAY NOW LETS END THIS!" I whipped my sword in a downward motion to whip off the blood. I thought about Tanjiros water wheel earlier "well lets try that" I mumbled to myself.

I leaped towards the demon with my high speed and used a tree to jump up. Through that boost i used the opportunity and vertically spinned forward in the air while releasing a flowing attack in a circular motion, just like Tanjiro earlier and created a wheel with these motions. My sword hit its neck and I tried pushing through.

I used all my strength and then finally it's head was sent flying off its neck. I landed on my knees and panted out satisfied "finally" I whispered to myself exhausted. As soon as its head was off, all the flying trees and rocks dropped to the ground. The forest was now peacfully quiet and I walked over to its head and picked it carefully up.

"YN!? What are you do-" Tanjiro immediately stopped his sentence when he saw me placing the head next to its body and me making a prayer. He watched and quietly kneeled next to me, praying as well. "I hope you will rest in peace and be reborn healthy" he mumbled. I smiled slightly "as a healthy human" I added and stood up as soon as it turned into ashes. I stretched and sighed out loudly "well that was something...I will head to my next mission now. It was a pleasure meeting you-" just when I wanted to walk away tanjiro grabbed My wrist "wait!" "HUH?" I frowned and he pointed to my arm "you're badly injured! Let's head back to the motel we stayed earlier and recover." I shook my head no "no I need to keep going. I can't lazily sit around." He laughed at my words "recovering isn't being lazy yn. If you aren't with full strength you could die, and then you can't help anymore people" damn he had a point.

I sighed "fine. I will come back with you and bandage it. But I will leave tomorrow morning." "Sounds good to me, lets go." I smiled a little and walked back with them. We told the motel keeper that the demon was defeated and he thanked us with tears rolling down his cheeks. As a sign of gratitude he gifted us all dinner.

We sat all on our Futons currently and ate Tempura and rice. Inosuke took off his mask for the first time since I met him, and I choked on my food. "THATS YOUR FACE?" "GOT A PROBLEM SHORTY?" I laughed slightly at his response "no no not at all! I am just surprised that you're pretty, I expected...I don't know" I shrugged it off and kept eating again. "So...I noticed you did the water wheel earlier yn...in your style?" I nodded "yes I am sorry. But when I saw you use it I thought about if I maybe could use it in Flame breathing as well and it worked surprisingly well! Without it I wouldn't have been able to kill the demon, so thank you." He smiled brightly "I am glad I could inspire you!". We were caught off guard when his box started making noises. I flinched and reached for my sword "no no! It's okay yn!" "Tanjiro...what's in your box?" I asked nervously. "Nothing bad I-" "AAAH NEZUKO-CHAN WANTS TO COME OUT!" Zenitsu giggled and ran to the box "come out sweet Nezukooo~" I frowned and stumbled backwards when I saw a small demon coming out of the box. I took my sword and stood up quickly. "NO! YN that's my sister Nezuko! She is one of us!" "She's a demon!" "Yes but she never ate a human or hurt one before! I am looking for a way to cure her!" "Cure her? She's not sick She's a demon!!" He shook his head "please! Don't hurt her" I frowned and looked back at the demon who was now playing with the boar mask infront of Zenitsu. "She...never hurt a person you say?" He nodded immediately "Never ever. She even fights with me when she isn't sleeping" I raised a eyebrow and walked towards that demon.

"Let's see" I took my bandages off and ripped the injury open, making it bleed again. "Yn your arm!" Zenitsu called out worried. I put my bleeding arm infront of Nezukos face "you want this?".

The demon girl stared at my arm and I saw drool leaping the bamboo in her mouth. She reached out for my arms slowly and I watched. But she didn't take my arm or what I expected, she took my bandages and pressed them against the wound to stop the bleeding.

I looked back at her in disbelief and she stared at me with big innocent eyes. "She...doesn't want it?" I was in disbelief and watched Nezuko bandage my arm again "unbelievable.." I turned to Tanjiro "Okay...you have my promise that I won't hurt her." He smiled relived and bowed down on the ground "thank you!". I sat back down on my Futon and continued eating, peeking to the demon from time to time "well...good luck with other people accepting her". He nodded and we both watched Nezuko walk around in the room.

"One day...she will be human again" he said confident and I smiled at his words, he must love his sister a lot. My brother would have killed me.

I was ripped out of my thoughts when Love flew in the room through the window "FOOD!" Inosuke yelled. I smacked his head "NO FOOD! That's my dove. NO food" I glared at him and pet her head gently "did you give him my letter?" I asked her and It chirped. I gently removed the letter on her leg "thank you, Love." I smiled and gave her some of my bread. "You got a dove instead of a crow?" Tanjiro asked confused and I nodded "I named her Love. Because it rhymes with dove and because she is so gentle". I smiled at my bird and Tanjiro laughed "you got a letter? From who?". I smiled and opened it "from my almost-brother" "almost?" "Yes. When I was a child a nice man took me into his house because I was an orphan. His son, Senjuro, is like a brother to me." He smiled "that sounds like a really nice man" I just nodded at his words...yeah Shinjuro was a very nice man. "Excuse me" I stood up and walked out of the room to read the letter in peace.

I sat down on the doorway and looked into the night sky before reading the letter.

"Dear Yn,

I am so proud of you that you were successful! I hope you are really as fine as you say! At home everything is as usual, father is in his room and Brother busy with duty. It's lonely without you, but your letters will make me feel less lonely! I can't wait to read more about your adventures and maybe one day I can join you?
