Furry's POV

"-YOU KIDNAPPED MY BOYFRIEND AGAIN!! AND I DON'T WANT TO HEAR ANY EXCUSES!! IT WAS YOUR TEAM! YOU SENT YOUR TEAM TO KIDNAP MY BOYFRIEND!" By now, I'm pretty sure Annabeth had finished her long rant about me "kidnapping her boyfriend."

"As much as I would love to keep going with this, I believe your boyfriend is in a dream where he can be killed."

She huffed and stormed off. All of this was stressful. Suddenly, there was a flash of light.

"You have done a great job," A voice said. "Our plan is coming together perfectly."

"Good. So you can you leave me alone now." I told the people in front of me.

"Oh, no. Not yet. You are still of in our service. Getting the gods to change their minds on telling you was...difficult. For now, you are free to do whatever you please. But I will have a task for you soon."

They left and I was alone in my office once again. I sighed and called Spiderman's team in.

🕷👓Peter's POV👓🕷

"I could've lost two of the Avengers because of you!" Fury yelled. I guess he was still pissed.

"Which ones?" I asked.

"THE ONE YOU KIDNAPPED!!! BECAUSE YOU KIDNAPPED HIM, HIS GIRLFRIEND THOUGHT I SENT YOU AFTER HIM AND ALMOST QUIT!!"

"They're Avengers?!" The whole team asked.

"Yes," Fury sighed. He looked stressed. I mean, he always looked stressed, but he looked more stressed than usual.

"Percy finally woke up," A woman's voice said behind us. I whipped around. Standing right behind us was the Black Widow. I wanted to faint. I mean, come on! It was THE Black Widow.

"Thank you, Agent Romanoff," Fury responded. She nodded and left.

There was an awkward silence in the room. Finally, Fury showed us footage from a security camera. "These are the new Avengers." Percy, his friends, and girlfriend were fighting the training robots.

"How come they became Avengers and we got stuck as their backup team?" I complained.

Fury sighed and rubbed his temple, "Most of the new recruits have been fighting at a young age. They all work well together and fight as a team. Not as individuals."

"I still don't see what's so special about them," Nova said.

"You guys want to see what's so special about them?" Fury questioned.

We all nodded. Fury smirked and dismissed us.

🐳Percy's POV🐳

"So let me get this straight," I said for the thirty-seventh time. "You want us-" I motioned to Annabeth, Leo, and Nico. "To fight a bunch of mortal teenagers because they think they're better than us and deserve to be on the Avengers." Fury nodded. I turned to my friends (and girlfriend). "What do you guys say?"

Everyone nodded, and I'm pretty sure I saw an evil glint in Annabeth's eye...oh well. I just hope she doesn't kill anyone.

We were currently standing in a training room in front of the team that attacked me. "So you mortals think you are worthy?" I asked, mocking Thor's voice.

Leo snickered. "In other words," he paused trying to hold in his laughter. "Are you guys ready?"

"So since there are five of you and four of us, I'll take on two. How about..." I looked at the team in front of me. "Big guy in yellow and...Bug Head over there."

Both of them looked at me as if I was crazy. Well, yellow did. I couldn't tell if Spidey was. Big guy asked, "You want to take on two of us?"

I nodded, "Annabeth can take on White Kitty, Leo Vs. Bucket Head, and Nico Vs. Scrawny Green Thor. That sounds good, right? What do you say, guys?" I turned around to look at my friends.

Nico shrugged. "I guess that seems fine."

I helped Spider Dude and Buffy Yellow up. "Great fight, guys." I kicked their butts, of course. "I can't believe you guys managed to put me down earlier!"

"That's not fair! I want a rematch!" Spidey complained.

I shrugged. "Sure, why n-"

"No rematches." I whipped around. "I don't need more people on the Avengers. What I need is for Spider-Man and his team to keep training and for Percy and the rest of the Avengers to go back to Stark Tower."

"Oh, come on, Nicky! Don't be such a party-"

"I said no rematches! Now go before I fire you and lock you up just so I can experiment on you!"

"Yes, sir!" I ran off before anything bad happened.

"Can someone please change the station!" I complained.

"I call choosing the station!" Leo yelled my ear.

I came out of my thoughts as the song ended. "You alright there, Percy?" Annabeth asked me.

Everyone's eyes went to me. "Uh...yeah. I'm just...thinking."

Nico gasped sarcastically. "Seaweed Brain thinking! Wow! I didn't think you could do that."

There was an awkward silence the rest of the ride. No one knew what to say, so everyone kept quiet.

We arrived at the tower a few minutes later. I went upstairs with Annabeth and we took nap.

I went to sleep with a smile on my face, thinking nothing in this world could go wrong.

Boy was I wrong!
