Chapter: 54

Sameer and Naina spent the next 7-8 days in Agrawal House. During these days, Sameer was getting a lot of pampering from his in-laws and also his loving wife.

He was overwhelmed with the shower of love from his aunt in-laws. Beena and Bela had stuffed his stomach with delicious food by saying that he had shredded lots of weight in London. Sameer's eyes had moistened when Beena had served the food on his plate and lifted a morsel to feed him. Seeing her husband live the moments he had not experienced in years and those he craved for, Naina was very happy and glad that her family welcomed and accepted Sameer wholeheartedly as their son.

As only Sameer and Naina were going to stay in Maheshwari Mansion for the upcoming weeks, Ramdhari was told to go to his village where his kids and grandkids lived with his wife. Naina was happily handling the home and her husband's clinginess. Sameer would steal kisses in between and find reasons to have Naina in his arms.

Naina was busy with decorating the shelves having Janaki and Vaishali's pictures, when Sameer descended the stairs. He smiled seeing Naina diligently working to make his mother and grandmother's space look beautiful. He leaned on the handrest of the staircase and soaked in the heartwarming sight.

His wife was dressed in a simple purple saree with wide magenta pink border, her pallu tuck on her waist, hair tied in a messy bun, wrists having her regular red bangle and the kadha gifted by Jaiprakash ji on Dhanteras. He was lost in the beauty and simplicity of this scene, when Naina got off the stool. She turned around to find Sameer adoring her.

She smiled and walked towards him. Seeing his wife approaching towards him, Sameer stood straight and pulled her into his arms once she was near.

Sameer: Hi wifey!

Naina chuckled and replied: Hi husband! Waise subah se yeh aapka teesra Hi hai. Aur kitni baar Hi bolna hai aapko?

Sameer: Tumhe jitni baar dekhta hun dil se toh sirf haaye ❤ nikalta hai. Jo tumhe Hi sunayi deta hai. Toh bas tum calculate kar do.

Naina chuckled and shook her head in disbelief. She wriggled out of his grip and walked towards the living room shelves, where Janaki and Vaishali's pictures are kept. She lifted the stool away and kept it back in its place.

Naina: Aap aur aapki cheesy baatein! Inka koi ilaaz nahi!

Sameer: Tum hi marz ho mera aur tum hi dawa!

Naina: Issshh! Gym mein galati se workout songs ke badle romantic songs toh nahi play ho rahe the?

Sameer tugged her from her arm and pulled her towards him. Naina got startled and her heart skipped a beat. She clutched his arm and looked at her husband with wide eyes.

Naina: Yeh ky....

Sameer kept his finger on her lips and made her silent. He tucked the loose hair tendrils falling on her face, behind her ear and traced her face with the back of his fingers.

Sameer: Tumhare liye pyaar bhari baatein kehne ke liye mujhe romantic gaane sunne ki zaroorat nahi hai. Tumhe dekhte hi mujhe romance aa jaata hai.

Naina's cheek flared and turned pink. She looked downwards towards his torso, and found that he was wearing a buttoned up shirt. Since the day they have come back to Maheshwari Mansion, Sameer was doing his office work remotely. She scrunched her brows and looked at her husband. He gave a helpless look to her and wounded his arms around her waist. He started swaying her softly and cleared his throat.

Sameer: Naina....Jaan....Mujhe na aaj office jaana hoga. Kuch important meetings scheduled hai jinmein meri physical presence zaroori hai.

Sameer was thinking that Naina would get upset and start sulking. Just the way she did when day before yesterday, the supposed to be 45 minutes virtual client meeting took an hour to conclude. Naina didn't talk to him as cheerfully she does and was playing with her food when Sameer came to her, in their living room. Rather today, she nodded her head in understanding and gave him a bright smile.

Naina: Batao aapko breakfast mein kya khana hai? Lunch ka bhi bata do. Main bana dungi. Aap bas kisiko bhej dena, tiffin unke haathon bhej dungi. Agar subah se bataya hota aapne toh main ab tak bana deti.

Sameer: Naina.....tum.....tumhe koi issue nahi hai? Main office ja raha hun. Tumhe yahan chod ke.....Akele.....

Naina understood what he was implying to. Yes, Naina doesn't like being away from him. But he has to go to office also. If he doesn't work well and efficiently, then the families depending on Maheshwari Industries would get affected.

Naina: Meer! Aap pehli baar thodi office ja rahe hai. Mujhe issue kyun hoga? Bas do teen din se hi toh ghar par kaam kar rahe the.

Sameer: Par tum ab tak akeli kaha thi? Papa aur Dadu ke Bhopal jaane se pehle Dadu rehte the tumhare saath ghar par. Phir tum Papaji ke paas gayi thi, wahan Chachiji, Taiji, Pranati, aur baaki sab the. Par yahan toh koi nahi hai. Accha ek kaam karte hai. Tum bhi chalo mere saath.

Naina pouted and shook her head in No. Sameer stopped swaying her, and gasped seeing her deny. He raised his brows in question and squinted his eyes. Naina gave him a helpless smile and started playing with the buttons of his shirt.

Naina: Woh......Aap wahan kaam karenge aur main itna time wahan rahungi toh bore ho jaungi. Waise bhi agar main jaungi aapke saath toh aapka dhyaan kaam par kam aur mujh par zyada rahega.

Sameer: Par tum yahan bhi toh bore ho jaogi na. Akele bore hone se toh accha hi hai mere saath bore hona.

Naina: Nahi Meer, main nahi aaungi aapke saath. Mujhe bore hone ka mauka nahi milega. Main abhi breakfast khatam karne ke baad aapka lunch banane mein lag jaungi, phir apna baaki ka kaam khatam kar lungi. Soch rahi hun Purvi Ji se mil aaun. Bahut din se woh mujhe bula rahi hai apne ghar. Aaj unke ghar chali jaungi, phir aap aate waqt mujhe pick kar lena...

Sameer: Hmm, toh aapka plan already set tha. Faltu main mujhse meri energy kharch karwa rahi thi tum convince karwane mein. Thik hai! Aaj na sahi par agli baar tum chalna mere saath. Ok?

Naina: Thik hai thik hai. Uske baare mein dekhenge. Filhal aap yeh batao ki tiffin mein kya chahiye aapko?

Sameer: Jo aap banaoge. Mujhe aisse kuch specific nahi chahiye.

Naina pouted and started thinking about what to make for lunch. Sameer smiled seeing his cute wife. He kissed her nose and held her face in between his palms and squeezed it, forming a bigger pout. He pecked on her pout and with a smile replied to her.

Sameer: Itna maat socho. Meri jaan jo banayegi uska jaan woh kha lega. Bina koi complaint ke! Ok?

Naina squinted her eyes at him accusingly and replied: Accha ji! Toh kal raat ko parwal ki sabji kyun nahi khayi aapne? Usko dekh kar achanak se aapki bhookh kaise mitt gayi? Phir aloo ki sabji dekh kar bhookh wapis bhi aagayi!

Sameer left her and rubbed the back of his head in nervousness. He gave a nervous smile to her and before he could say anything, Naina spoke once again.

Naina: Mujhe Pari samjha hai kya? Main sab samjhti hun! Aap bilkul apni bhatiji pe gaye hai! Green vegetables se kosso dur bhagne wale. Par main bhi aapki biwi hun!

Sameer: Haan toh maine kab manna kiya meri jaan! Tum hi toh ho meri one and only wife!

Naina raised her arms and rested her fists on her waist, she gave a fake glare to Sameer and spoke accusingly.

Naina: One and only ka kya matlab hai? Aur bhi biwiyaan chahiye aapko? Ab toh aapko karele milenge! Karele ka juice! Karele ke parathe! Karele ki sabji! Karele ka sandwich! Aur haan! Karele ka halwa bhi jismein main sirf ek chamch cheeni dalungi!

Sameer immediately drew her into his arms, and kept her head on his torso. He weaved his fingers across her hair and began speaking.

Sameer: Naina naina naina! Shaant meri jaan shaant! Yeh kya hogaya tumhe? Eklauti biwi ho, toh one and only hi bolunga na. Sabki one and only biwi hi hoti hai, aur woh unko one and only hi bulate hai....

Naina pushed him away a little and walked towards the kitchen. Actually, Naina wasn't angry or upset in real. She was just messing with him. Naina stifled her smile and rummaged through the fridge to find vegetables suitable for preparing the breakfast and lunch.

Seeing his wifey being in her grumpy zone, Sameer thought of using the brahmastra on her. Slow and feathery kisses! Nowadays, they have been working quite well on Naina and managed to get his favorite color onto her cheeks. With slow steps, Sameer walked towards her and slid his arms around her waist. He held the kitchen slab, caging Naina between him and the slab. She gasped feeling his torso sticking to her bare back and his warm breath hitting her nape. Her grip on the vegetable basket got loosened and her heart started thumping fast. Thanks to her hair being tied in a messy bun, her back and neck were exposed for his mercy. He could see mild goosebumps arising on her skin, and he chuckled mentally. He left the slab and wounded his arms around her waist tightly, making sure that the grip wasn't too tight for her, and pulled her towards him. A loud gasp left her mouth, and she gripped his wrist, which rested just above her waistline. Sameer inched forward, and let his rough lips brush her earlobes. He left a soft kiss on the back of her ear and trailed soft pecks till her collarbone.

Sameer whispered huskily: Jaan, ab bhi naraz ho!?

Naina nodded her head because she knew what was going to come next, and she wanted it. Sameer turned her around, and his fingers moved around her curves. He dipped his head in the crook of her neck and started kissing her exposed skin. Naina's fingers dug into his hair and clutched them when he kissed her soft spot. Sameer changed their position, and now Naina was pressed against the fridge. He leaned forward and kissed her entire face sensually. When he neared her lips, he gave multiple kisses near the corner of lips, and then captured into a soft, long, passionate and toe curling kiss. Naina's fingers crumpled his shirt from behind, and she could feel her arousal. Her fast heartbeats and squirms, made him realize her position. He swiftly moved his fingers towards her belly button, and gave a soft massage under it. Slowly he moved his fingers towards her crotch. He let his two fingers rest there for a while and then massaged her crotch slowly, to release her pressure and make her feel good. Naina was feeling a lot better, and she felt like she was flying on air. She wounded her arms around his neck and pressed herself more towards him.

Sameer stopped kissing when he could feel both of them getting breathless, and joined his forehead with hers. He tucked the baby hair sticking to her cheeks, and caressed her cheekbone with his thumb.

Sameer: Abhi bhi naraz ho apne Meer se?

Naina shook her head in No. She took a deep breath and with a playful smile she looked at him.

Naina: Main aapse naraz thi hi nahi. Bas aapko chedh rahi thi.

Sameer gasped dramatically and widened his eyes.

Sameer: Matlab yeh tumhari planning thi! Mujh masoom se tumne badi chalaki se kisses le li.

Naina giggled at his drama and squeezed his cheeks in between her palms. She pecked the pout which was formed due to his squeezed cheeks and detached herself from him.

Naina: Koi masoom nahi hai aap! Biwi ko manane ke aur bhi tarike hai. Aapne yeh tarika chuna! Ismein meri kya galati?

Naina turned around and started with selecting vegetables for preparing the breakfast and lunch. Sameer smirked and back hugged her. He rested his chin on her shoulder and kissed her cheek.

Sameer: Tumhari galati yeh hai ki tum itni pyaari aur khubsurat ho! Tumhe dekhte hi tumhare husband se raha nahi jaata aur woh tumhari ore khincha chala aata hai.

Naina: Accha!?

Sameer: Hmm! Yakeen nahi ho raha tumhe? Toh wapis se demo dikhau?

Naina elbowed his stomach softly and made him move away from her. She turned around and shook her head in a No.

Naina: Koi zaroorat nahi hai! Aapki meeting hai na! Jaake uski taiyaari kijiye! Main phataphat breakfast aur aapka lunch ready karti hun.

Naina was about to turn around to resume her work, when Sameer held her arm and made her look at him. He held her face in his palms and kissed her forehead.

Sameer: Tension maat lo. Sirf breakfast bana lo. Main office canteen se lunch order kar dunga. Tum par abhi bahut kaam aa jayega.

Naina: Par.....

Sameer: Ssshhh! Chup! Ek din canteen se kha lene se kuch nahi hoga. Main abhi help kar deta hun breakfast banane mein. Phir tum aaram karna aur lunch maat banana. Main canteen se hi tumhare liye bhijwa dunga. Apne aapko thoda ME time do aaj.

Naina smiled at him and shook her head in acceptance. Sameer smiled and pulled out the apron from the drawer, to prevent spoiling his office wear. After sending him to the office, Naina took her time in re-arranging the kitchen and continued reading her book.

Time passed and the clock struck at 6:00 PM. Sameer was trying to reach out to Naina, but neither was she replying to his messages nor his calls. Sameer wasn't in the mood to call Ruhaan to check if he had spoken to Purvi. And to his bad luck, Rohan and Preeti were out of town for attending an inter-college fest in Nagpur.

Sameer: Ghar jaake fresh hoke ek baar phir try karta hun Naina ko. Agar nahi respond karti phir directly Ruhaan ke ghar chala jaunga.

Sameer unlocked the door and was about to turn on the lights, when he heard footsteps approaching towards him. He looked at front, and found Naina coming from the storeroom with two white and heavy blankets in her hand. He noticed that she was wearing a beige kurta set with the dupatta in different shades of green and blue, wrapped around her waist.

Sameer: Jaan?

Hearing his voice, she got startled and immediately left the blankets on the ground. Realising that her husband is standing at the door, she rushed towards him and engulfed him in a hug. Sameer wrapped his arms around her and rested his cheek against her head.

Sameer: Agar tum aa gayi ho toh ghar ki lights kyun off rakhi hai? Mujhe laga ki ab tak Purvi Ji ke saath gaape ladha rahi ho.

Naina realised something and immediately detached herself from his embrace. He frowned at the sudden loss of her warmth and looked at her with confusion.

Naina: Aap itni jaldi kaise aagaye? Woh chodiye! Aap yahin ruko. Kahin jaana nahi! Main abhi aayi.

Naina ran out of the living room towards the lawn, after picking up the fallen blankets. Sameer stepped forward to peep in. But Naina's jingling bangles' voice made him stand still. He stood straight and looked here and there. Naina came and stood behind him. She tried to cover his eyes with her palms but failed. Thanks to their height difference, after tip-toeing, her palms could cover his eyes but she won't be able to walk properly. She sighed in annoyance and pouted. Sameer chuckled at her cute antics. He turned around and wrapped his arms around her shoulder and kissed her pout.

Sameer: Jaan, tum kya karne ki koshish kar rahi ho?

Naina: Aapki aankhein cover! Aap itne lambe kyun ho?

Sameer giggled and pulled her cheeks.

Sameer: Aur tum itni cute kyun ho?

Naina whined and smacked his shoulder.

Naina: Meerrr! Mujhe aapki aankhein cover karni hai thodi si.

Sameer: Karna kyun hai? Aur tum yeh Sultan ki behen banke, do do blanket leke lawn ki taraf kahan ja rahi thi? Raat ko blanket sukha rahi ho bahar?

Naina: Pata chal jayega! Abhi bas aapki aankhein cover karni hai.

She looked around and her eyes glittered when her gaze fell on her dupatta. She immediately unwrapped it and with a big smile looked at her dearest husband. Sameer was busy adoring his wife, who had left her hair open, she had done a light makeup, had put up a small blue bindi and her sindoor had got a little smudged, maybe due to the work she was caught doing. When he saw Naina cutely looking at him with her dupatta in her hand, he gave a smile to his enthu-cutlet and kneeled down. Naina pulled his cheeks and kissed them before tying the dupatta around his eyes.

Naina: Aap yahan thodi der baitho. Main yun gayi aur yun aayi. No cheating, ok?

Sameer nodded and patiently waited for Naina's next instruction. He was able to hear her running around and the jingles of her bangles. He could guess her moving around the house, but couldn't put a finger on the reason behind her rigorous running.

After what felt like an eternity to Sameer, Naina came to him and helped him walk towards the lawn. She opened the blindfold and stood beside him, with her arms around his waist. It took a few seconds for him to adjust to the settings of his surrounding. After his vision got normal, he could see that the lawn had undergone a transformation. In the middle of the lawn, a small tent house was made using white clothes and golden fairy lights. Inside this tent, small makeshift bed was made using cushions and mattresses. In front of this tent house, a small low height table was kept over a thin mattress, which was surrounded by baby pink and golden covered squared cushions. On top of the table, a laptop was kept along with cans of soft drinks and few chips packets. He noticed a blanket lying near the table, and next to it were kept some covered plates and bowls.

Sameer: Naina.....yeh sab?

Naina: Aaj humari movie and dinner date night hai!

Sameer: Par......tumne itna.....sab kyun? Kya zaroorat thi?

Naina: Kyun zaroorat nahi thi? Har baar humari dates aap kyun plan karoge? Kya sirf aapne special efforts aur suprises ka theka liya hai?

Sameer: Naina......

Naina kept her finger on his lips and quitened him.

Naina: Sirf kya main special treatment ki haqdaar hun? Aap bhi toh hai na. Aap hafton ke saaton din bina kisi complain ke apne kaam aur humari family ke liye dedicated rehte hai. Thakkan hoti hogi par aapne kabhi zaheer nahi kiya. Kisi se nahi kehte hai. But husband ki bin kahi baatein jaan jaana hi toh wife ki khubi hoti hai.
Accha yeh sab chodiye! Bataiye ki yeh decoration kaisa laga aapko?

Sameer held her face in his palms and kissed her crown. He looked into her eyes with slightly wet eyes and replied.

Sameer: Bahut khubsurat! Aaj tak mere liye itna pyaara aur haseen surprise kisine plan nahi kiya!

Naina: Haan kyunki aapki life mein main jo nahi thi. Par ab aagayi hun!

Sameer chuckled at her self praising and hugged her lightly. Naina too giggled and snuggled up in his arms. After some seconds passed, Naina detached herself ftom his embrace and pushed him towards their room to freshen up.

When Sameer walked into the decorated lawn, he found Naina was strolling around, inspecting her plants. He shook his head and chuckled. Walking towards her, he noticed that Naina's dupatta which was wrapped around her neck in a haphazard manner, was now properly wrapped her shoulders. Her dark brown wavy hair was cascading down her back and flowed along with the pleasant breeze.

Upon reaching behind her, he wrapped his arm around her shoulder and waist, caging her in his arms. Naina smiled and held his arm. Sameer rested his head on her head and looked at the twinkling sky.

Sameer: Tumhe yeh sab karne ka time kab mila? Mujhse jhooth kaha ki Purvi Ji se milne ja rahi ho?

Naina: Nahi nahi. Maine 12 baje unhe call kiya tha. Pata chala ki woh aur Ruhaan, Purvi Ji ke mayke gaye hai. Unki Mummy ki tabiyat kharab hai aur unke Papa business ke silsile mein bahar gaye hai. Tabhi mere dimaag mein aaya ki kyun na main humari date night plan karun.

Sameer: Par tumne bahar ki lights kyun off rakhi thi?

Naina: Aapko surprise dena ka sochta tha, isliye off kiya tha. Socha tha ki aap aake hall ki lights on karte aur main chilati "Surpise!" But mera saara surprise phoosh kar diya aapne jaldi aake!

Sameer: Still main surprised toh hun. Tumne akele itna sab kuch kaise manage kar liya?

Naina: Bas yun samjhiye ki aapki biwi, Biwi No. 1 hai.

Sameer laughed at her cute reply and kissed her crown. He turned her around to find her face glowing due to her radiant smile and twinkling eyes.

Sameer: Toh Biwi No. 1 ji, apne iss bechare se husband ko kuch khilayengi aap?

Naina: Zaroor! Par uss se pehle, I have something for you. Do second ke liye aankhein bandh kijiye.

Sameer: Kya! Phir se aankhein bandh karni hai?

Naina gave a helpless look and nodded her head. Sameer sighed and closed his eyes. Within few seconds, he could feel pleasant smell enveloping his senses and bringing a smile to his face. Naina tugged his sleeve, signalling him to open his eyes.

Opening his eyes, he saw Naina holding a bouquet of pink roses with white baby breath. She looked at him endearingly with slightly pink cheeks, maybe due to nervousness of doing something for him for the first time. Sameer stepped closer, held the bouquet, inhaled the mesmerizing fragnance and looked straight into her eyes.

Sameer: Thank you for the flowers Jaan.

He kissed her cheeks and forehead. Naina smiled at him and kissed his cheeks as reply. She looped her arm with his and walked towards the makeshift couch she made. Naina eyed towards the covered plates and bowls, prompting Sameer to unravel the mystery beneath them.

Underneath the covers, laid mouthwatering delicacies. All favorites of Sameer. Naina had prepared cupcakes with vanilla frosting, cheese pizza, noodles, and arranged the chips and munchies around the table, in colorful bowls.

Sameer: Yeh sab tumne banaya hai?

Naina: Sirf cupcakes aur noodles. Pizza order kiya hai. Main ghar par pizza banana try karna chahti thi but aaj koi experiment bhi nahi karna tha mujhe. Isliye yeh plan agli baar ke liye postponed hai.

Sameer: Meri jaan ne aaj itni saari mehnat ki hai. Uska reward toh milna chahiye usse.

Sameer held her waist from his one arm and pulled her towards him. Naina gasped and crashed into his torso. Her palms clutched his biceps and she looked at him astonishingly. Sameer tucked the hair lingering around her cheeks, behind her ear and caressed the corner of her lips with his thumb. He slowly leaned towards her and pecked her lips, it's corners, her cheeks, and her forehead. Naina's cheeks flushed with each kiss, with her eyes remaining downcast. Sameer smiled at her shyness, and lifted her in his arms, in bridal style. After sitting on the soft mattress covering the grass, he made her sit on his lap comfortably, making her face him and wrapped his arms around her waist.

Naina: Aap......aap yeh kya kar rahe hai?

Sameer: Kya kar raha hun? Apni sundar si biwi ko apni godh mein bitha raha hun, aur kya?

Naina: Par kyun?

Sameer: Kyunki main usse bahut bahut bahut pyaar karta hun.

And he gave a big and noisy kiss on her cheek. Naina kept blinking her eyes for few seconds, trying to decipher what transpired. When realisation dawned, she gave a shy smile to her husband and hid her face in the crook of his neck.

After munching the crunchy chips and slurping the cool and minty soda, both of them started discussing which movie to watch. Rounds of internet browsing, scrolling of OTT apps, and much deliberations, the couple decided to re-watch the Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif starrer Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani.

Naina was indulged into the quirky and lighthearted rom-com but Sameer's eyes were enjoying the beauty of his wife. Naina was still sitting on his lap with her head against his torso, and both of them wrapped up in the thick blanket. Instead of sitting in the open, they sat inside the tenthouse made by Naina, as the temperature outside was cool enough to help them catch cold or fever.

Sameer moved his hand out of the blanket and started weaving his finger through her hair. Feeling his soft touches over her scalp, Naina tilted her head a bit to look at her husband, she gave him a smile and looked back to the screen. Sameer chuckled at her attentiveness towards the film, and kissed her crown and cheeks, then continued giving her a soothing head massage.

Once the film reached its interval, Sameer decided to grab the attention of his wife towards him. He slipped his arm around her waist, through the side slits of her kurti. Locking his palms over her stomach, he circled her navel with his thumb, Naina who fully concentrated on the running film, could feel her concentration getting wavered. The moment she thought to get back her attention to the film and not on Sameer's fingers, Sameer leaned backwards and made her lean as well. He started to pepper kisses on head and simultaneously rubbed her navel and it's surrounding area, sensuously. Naina's breath hitched when Sameer sucked her earlobe and his palm started trailing towards her bosom.

Even though, they have had numerous make out sessions earlier, but every time Sameer got intimate with her, it seemed a first to her. Long forgotten was the movie, and it's quirky punchlines. Naina was fully attentive towards her husband's touches. Sameer tugged her arm, and being hypnotized under his touches, Naina turned around facing him. Sameer's palm moved towards her back, and he made her lay completely over him, and attached his lips with her lips. His one hand was gently holding her head and the other lingered over the hooks and zip of her kurta. Luckily he unhooked the hooks but the zip was a bit of challenge. Frustrated due to the stubborn zip, he did something which he had never done.

He ripped her kurta. Naina gasped loudly at this, and Sameer entered his tongue inside her mouth. Their tongues were fighting with each other, making their teeth clash with each other. Naina's fingers reached the buttons of his shirt, and swiftly unbuttoned them. Her hands moved haywire and slid the shirt off his torso. Sameer freed themselves from the blankets and slid the kurta's sleeves off her shoulder. Both of them were getting breathless, yet weren't ready to leave each other. The friction between their exposed torso, was raising their temptations. The proof was the scratches on Sameer's arms and Sameer's hold on Naina's hair.

When Naina's break point started approaching, she softly patted his arm and Sameer rolled over, making Naina lay underneath him. He left her lips with a loud pop sound and looked at the mess he created. Naina's lips had turned a shade darker and had got swollen. Her cheeks were flushed and sweatbeads appeared on her forehead and nose. Sameer's lips had also turned a shade darker and few of the hair tendrils were sticking to his forehead. Naina looked at her husband with shy and hooded eyes, and gently pulled his head towards her. He nestled his head in the crook of her neck and used his one hand to part her legs apart, to settle his lower body in between them. He started licking her neck sensuously, and his fingers traced the borders of her lingerie. Naina took a deep and loud breath, and pushed his head more closer. She wrapped her arm around him and moved them all over his muscular back.

Once he was done tasting her entire exposed neck and cleavage, he started off giving wet open mouth kisses on her lower torso and stomach. Sameer licked her navel and peppered multiple kisses around it. Naina's control slipped and she started moaning. She squirmed at her place with his each kiss, and clutched the blanket laying next to her tightly. Sameer slipped his fingers under the waistband of her trouser, and traced her thighs with his fingertips. Naina gasped loudly feeling his gently hold over her clothed moist clit. She looked towards him, to find him already looking at her. Sameer palmed her clothed bosoms and pecked her clothed womanhood. Sameer's gesture uncaged the thousands of butterflies present inside her stomach, and she clutched his hair tightly. Sameer stopped then and there, and rid himself up. He kissed her forehead and her whole face, layed next to her, and pulled her into his embrace, after making her wear his shirt.

Sunrays slipping inside the tent house, due to the sheerness of the fabric, disturbed Sameer's slumber. He rubbed his eyes with the back of his palms, and with closed eyes, moved his hand over the space next to him, to get hold of his wife. But all he received was empty space. Sameer opened his eyes immediately and sat up hastily. He looked for his phone and saw the clock showing 7:35 AM.

Naina had just come out of the bathroom, after bathing, with a towel wrapped in her hair, when Sameer walked in, searching for her. He felt at peace seeing his wife, wearing a simple rustic orange anarkali set. Naina showed her toothy smile to him and walked to him.

Naina: Good morning Meer

Sameer took her into his arms and planted a kiss on her head, before mumbling a good morning to her.

Sameer: Tumne mujhe jagaya kyun nahi?

Naina: Kyunki aap gehri aur sukoon wali neend mein so rahe the. Waise bhi main abhi baal sukha ke, aapko jagane hi wali thi.

Sameer: Thik hai, chalo baitho wahan. Main madad kar deta hun.

Naina: Main kar lungi. Aap jaake fresh ho jao. Phir aapko aapki favorite jagah bhi toh jaani hai.

Sameer chuckled understanding what she was referring as his favorite jagah.

Sameer: Meri favorite jagah toh wohi hai jahan meri pyaari biwi hoti hai.

Naina: Haan haan! Sab maloom hai mujhe. Subah hoti nahi ki aapka mujhe makhan lagana shuru ho jaata hai.

Sameer: Arre! Makhan kahan laga raha hun. Sach keh raha hun.

Naina: Thik hai mere sachai ki murat. Jaake nahake aayiye. Office bhi jaana hai na aapko.

Sameer: Tumhe yaad hai na maine tumhe kal kya kaha tha? Tum bhi chalogi mere saath aaj.

Naina: Main jaake karun kya?

Sameer: Mujhe kaam karte dekhna. Office ke naye employees se milna. Unhe pata chalna chahiye ki unke teeno boss ka boss koun hai.

Naina squinted her eyes and rested her palms on her waist.

Naina: Main kaise aap sabki boss hun? Main toh sabse choti hun!

Sameer lowered her hands and wrapped his arms around her waist. He held her face in between his palms and kissed her forehead.

Sameer: Iss ghar ki toh boss ho. Iss bungalow ko wapis ghar banane wali, yahan ke kone kone ko khubsurat banane wali, aur meri, Papa aur Dadu ki chehre ki muskaan, tum hi toh ho.

Naina's eyes moistened hearing him, and she nestled her head in his torso. She was overwhelmed hearing the importance she has in the Maheshwari household. She hugged him tightly, hiding her face in his torso, she cried.

Sameer: Naina! Ro kyun rahi ho?

Naina: Aap, Papaji, aur Dadaji mujhse kitna pyaar karte ho, aur mera kitna khayal rakhte ho. Yeh soch kar hi khushi ke aanshu aa rahe hai.

Sameer: Pagal wagal hogayi ho kya? Itni si baat pe ro rahi ho. Hum tumse pyaar nahi karenge toh kya karenge.

Naina sniffled and looked at her husband with puppy eyes and pouty lips. Sameer chuckled at her cute face and kissed her puffed nose and pouty lips.

Sameer: Chalo, rona bandh karo.

Naina wiped her cheeks and gave him a kiss on his cheeks and at the corner of his lips. Followed by Sameer showering her face with lots of kisses.

After having their breakfast, Samaina left for Maheshwari Industries. The chit chattering in the lobby stopped when all the employees saw their CEO walking hand in hand with the CEO of his house and his life. Both of them looked elegant and complemented each other. Naina didn't change her suit. She was still wearing the same rustic orange anarkali. She had left her hair open, and had minimal makeup and a small orange bindi on her face. She wore a polki with green beads and pearls earrings and her regular kadha and red bangle in her wrists. Complementary to Naina's simple orange look, Sameer wore a black shirt with beige trousers and blazer. He had paired his outfit with tan leather shoes and a black watch. His sunglasses was tuck in his trouser pockets.

While waiting for the lift, both of them can hear whispering and murmuring about how beautiful they looked together, and their strict boss had a smile on his face while walking in. The new joinees and interns weren't aware of Naina being a Maheshwari and were having lot of questions in their mind. But refrained themselves from asking someone.

Naina and Sameer met Sreeja and her husband on the floor, along with their little daughter, Vaidehi. Sreeja gave a big smile to Naina and hugged her.

Sreeja: Naina! Good to see you yaar!

Naina: Same here.

Vikrant: Aaj hum sab bahut lucky hai jo Naina aayi hai. Aaj humare boss ka gussa aur emotionless face, dekhne nahi milega office mein.

Naina giggled and replied looking at Vaidehi: Aaj toh main bhi bahut lucky hun kyunki humari cute princess bhi aayi hai.

Vaidehi gave a shy smile to Naina and hid her face in her dad's shoulder. Everyone chuckled at her cute reaction, and Samaina left towards Sameer's cabin after kissing her hands.

Naina sat on the chair in front of Sameer's, and took out her book which she has been reading recently, from her bag. When Naina lifted her gaze up, she was awestruck seeing her husband swiftly removing his blazer, and rolling up his sleeves, flexing his veiny muscular arms. She gulped remembering how effortlessly these arms get her wrapped and she finds peace around them.

When Sameer found his wife awestruck, he chuckled and leaned towards her to peck her lips, to bring her out of her thoughts. Naina's cheeks turned pink after releasing what Sameer did. She tucked her hair behind her ear and looked here and there. Sameer smiled at her shyness and sat on his chair.

Sameer: Jaan, tum comfortable hoke couch pe baith jao. Kitni der yahan chair pe baithi rahogi?

Naina: Jab zaroorat padegi tab jaake wahan baith jaungi. Abhi mujhe yahin baithna hai, book padhna hai aur thodi thodi time pe aapko niharna hai.

Sameer chuckled and shook his head in disbelief. A few hours ago, he literally begged her to come along with him, and look now what she is doing.

After sometime, they heard a knock on the door, and Sameer asked the person to come in. It was one of the senior managers, Vijay. Naina stood up and went to sit on the couch, to give both of them their space to talk. Vijay smiled at Naina and greeted her, which got reciprocated with a warm smile and greeting.

Vijay: Sir, yeh last month ki production report hai. Actually main yeh aapko first week mein hi de deta. But kuch gaps nazar aaye toh unko investigate karne mein time lag gaya.

Sameer: Koi baat nahi hai Vijay. It's alright. Waise bhi weekly updates toh aap submit karte hi ho. I had analyzed till a certain end.

Vijay smiled and had an appreciative look on his face. He looked at Naina and forwarded another file towards her.

Vijay: Ma'am aaj main yeh file aapko dene ghar jaane wala tha. But it's great that you've come. Yeh vendors ki list hai jo aapne mujhe banane bola tha.

Now I know you all would be confused as to why Vijay is giving a vendor's list to Naina. So let me take you to a quick flashback.

Flashback (The month of November)

It was Choti Diwali today and Jaiprakash decided to give the responsibility of doing Puja at the office and Mumbai workshops of Maheshwari Industries, to Naina and Sameer.

Naina and Sameer dressed in heavy cream floral saree with emerald green and gold thread work in the borders, and beige silk kurta with mirror work, walked inside the office where it was a normal working day for everyone till lunchtime. After the Puja was done, Naina decided to walked around the office and interact with the employees, just like she did in her father's company.

While interacting with the women of the organization, she realised that many of the married women are working mothers and have no one at home to take care of their kids. Hence they leave the kids at daycare or have hired a help for taking care of their kids. But these women are always worried about their kid's well-being.

Naina: Yeh toh kaafi badi problem hai. In fact same cheez Papa ke yahan bhi hoti hai. Kitna accha hota agar yeh log apne bacchon ko office la paate. Wait! Kyun nahi la sakte? Bilkul la sakte hai. Main aaj hi sabse baat karti hun. Shaam ko toh sab aane hi wale hai ghar.

In the same evening, Agrawal family had come to Maheshwari Mansion, for dinner. After everyone had their dinner, Naina thought to present her idea along with a cup of hot gulab jamun.

Naina was fidgeting the pallu of her saree in anticipation, which didn't go unnoticed by Sameer. He had noticed her hesitation since the past 10 minutes, hence decided to finally put an end to it.

Sameer: Naina!

Naina: Ji Meer!

Sameer: Kya baat hai? Kuch kehna hai tumhe? Kab se dekh raha hun tum apne pallu ke saath khel rahi ho.

Naina: Amm, woh actually......woh main.....

Sameer could see hesitation clearly in her eyes and in her demeanor. He stood up from his place and walked towards her, as he was sitting on the couch with Rakesh and Naina sat near the shelves were Janaki and Vaishali's pictures are kept. Sameer sat next to Naina and held her hand in his his. He gave an assuring squeeze on her hand and looked at her expectantly to continue and speak out her thoughts.

Naina: Woh Dadaji, Papaji! Main aaj puja ke baad, office mein aisse hi ghum ghum kar employees se baat kar rahi thi. Unka haal chal puch rahi thi. Tab maine ek cheez comman payi jo actually thodi problematic hai. Infact yeh cheez, Papa, maine aapke office mein bhi notice kiya hai.

Jaiprakash: Woh kya cheez hai beta?

Naina: Dadaji, humari jitni female employees married hai unmein se adhe se zyada ladies working mothers hai. Chote chote bacche hai unke. Ghar par koi nahi hai unhe sambhalne ke liye. Iss wajah se woh apne bacchon ko daycare ya nanny ke haathon saup ke aate hai. Phir unhe din bhar bacchon ki chinta rehti hai aur unka dhyaan kaam par kam lagta hai. Infact Sreeja bata rahi thi, kitni aissi female employees hai jo maternity leave khatam hone se pehle resign kar di hai kyunki unko na daycare ka option sahi lagta hai aur na hi nanny ka.

Toh main soch rahi thi ki........

Naina quitened before presenting her idea to analyze the facial expressions of Jaiprakash, Vivek, Rakesh, and Sameer before continuing. She could see Sameer giving her an assuring glance.

Vivek: Kya soch rahi thi beta? Aage batana.

Naina: Woh maine aapko aur Meer ko uss din discuss karte suna tha ki office building ke 7th floor pe kya karwa ja sakta hai. Main soch rahi thi ki kyun na hum uss floor ko kids room bana de. Yun kahun toh daycare bana de. Isse humari working mothers ko assurance bhi rahega ki bacche paas hai aur jab unka mann karega woh log apne bacchon se mil payenge. Aur toh aur jo ladies maternity leave ke baad company chodne ka sochte hai, unko bhi benefit ho jayega. Hum yeh facility unke benefits mein add kar sakte hai.
Papa! Humara purana warehouse toh office ke bagal mein hi hai. Woh use bhi nahi ho raha hai. Agrawal Logistics ka daycare hum wahan set kar sakte hai.

Sameer: Idea toh accha hai Naina. Kyun Papa? Dadu? Papa ji?

Jaiprakash looked at Naina and stood up. He went towards his room, leaving Naina in distress. She felt that Jaiprakash was offended with her idea. She looked down and started to play with her bangles. Sameer's grip on her hand tightened and he wounded his arm around Naina's shoulder. Rakesh too gave an encouraging smile to his daughter. Everyone present there was confused due to Jaiprakash's sudden disappearance.

Within 5-10 minutes, Jaiprakash walked in the living room, alerting everyone. He walked towards Naina and circled his fist around Naina 3-4 times, before opening his fist in front of Naina. On top of Jaiprakash's palm layed a silver coin with Maa Lakshmi's engraving. Sameer and Vivek smiled proudly at Naina who was looking towards her husband in confusion.

Vivek: Beta! Papa ko jab kisi ki baat bahut zyada pasand aati hai na, tab Papa usse ek chandi ka sikka dete hai.

Jaiprakash: Par aaj sirf chandi ke sikke se kaam nahi chalega. Aaj meri pyaari bacchi ne itna accha sujhav diya hai. Usse ek aur cheez bhi milegi.

Sameer: Woh kya Dadu?

Jaiprakash: Main agle hafte Naina ko Maheshwari Industries ka Chief People Officer declare karne wala hun. Humare employees ke wellbeing aur benefits se related sab kuch ab Naina handle karegi.

Naina: Par Dadaji! Main kaise? Mujhse aur bahut se log honge jo Maheshwari Industries ke CPO hone ke layak hai. Mujhe experience bhi nahi hai corporate environment ka. Mujhse zyada experience wale ko aapko appoint karna chahiye.

Jaiprakash: Haan yeh tune sach kaha hai ki tujhe work experience nahi hai. Par ek cheez hai tujh mein jo bade se bade experienced insaan mein nahi hai. Woh hai sabke liye care karna. Sabko apna bana lena. Aaj maine dekha tha kaise tune saare employees ke saath personal connection banaya tha. Tu perfect hai Maheshwari Industries aur shayad Agrawal Logistics ki bhi CPO banne ke liye.

Yeh baat toh Rakesh, Naresh aur Anand bhi manenge ki tu sabko bahut jaldi apna bana leti hai aur sabko ek jaise hi treat karti hai. Kyun sahi kaha na?

Naresh: Bilkul sahi kaha Babuji ne. Naina! Apne aapko kam maat ank.

Rakesh: Par Babuji, Naina itni badi zimmedaari kaise......

Vivek: Aapko apni beti pe bharosa nahi hai kya Rakesh bhaisahab? Bhai mujhe toh hai.

Rakesh: Mujhe Naina pe pura bharosa hai, Vivek bhaisahab. Lekin ek pita toh apne bacche ko leke satark rehta hi hai na. Toh bas....

Jaiprakash: Rakesh, shuru shuru main zaroor Naina ko kathinai ka samna karna hoga. Uske liye hum sab hai na. Hum usko sambhal lenge.
(To Naina) Beta tu fikr maat kar. Tere liye tere Dadaji, tera Papaji, tera Meer, tere Papa, tere Chacha Ji, tere Tauji, aur tera bhaiya, sab hai.

Naina: Lekin Dadaji. Employees kya kahenge? Malik ki bahu aur beti hai isliye CPO.....

Sameer: Tum apni mehnaat aur kabiliyat se unka muh bandh kar dena.

Naina: Agar main bhi office chali jaungi toh ghar koun sambhalega? Papaji aur Dadaji ka khana peena, unki dawai, Dadaji akele ho jayenge ghar par.

Dheere dheere office mein rehne ka time badha dena.

Sameer: Naina! Tumhe zyada kuch nahi karna hai. Jaise aaj tumne itni badhiya scheme sochi hai na bas waise hi schemes plan karni hai aur ensure karna hai ki humare employees ke liye sahi sahi benefits plan ho rahe hai ki nahi. I am sure tum ghar aur office dono aaram se manage kar logi.

Vivek: Haan beta! Do alag alag companies ke saath deal karegi toh tera exposure bhi badhega.

Naina thought for a moment and looked at each and every person's face present there. Everyone had an encouraging gaze at her. She took a leap of faith and agreed to Jaiprakash's proposal.

As expected by Naina, the declaration of Naina's appointment as the Chief People Officer, had a mixed reactions from the employees of both Maheshwari Industries and Agrawal Logistics. Some were happy and some were bitching how nepotism had seeped into their office as well. But Naina's idea of setting up a space for the children of employees' had increased the number of her supporters.

End of Flashback

Naina smiled at Vijay and took the file. She kept it aside and looked at him.

Naina: Thank you Vijay ji. Main isko review karke aapko bata dungi ki kuch aur requirements chahiye ki nahi.

Vijay: Thik hai Ma'am.

Naina: Aapki wife abhi kaisi hai? Sreeja bata rahi thi ki unki tabiyat thik nahi hai.

Vijay: Abhi better hai Ma'am. Thanks to your idea of keeping an in-office doctor. Main immediately usko yahan le aaya aur uske symptoms diagnose hogaye. Malaria hogaya hai usse. Doctor ne medicine prescribe kiya hai. 3-4 din mein thik ho jayegi.

Naina: Ismein thank you ki kya baat hai. Hum sab ek family hi hai.

Vijay nodded and left. Sameer was really happy seeing his wife slowly shaping herself accordingly to the needs of the company. He remembers how apprehensive she got before taking each and every decision related to the daycare. He walked towards his wife and gave a big noisy kiss on her cheeks. Naina giggled and gave him a kiss back. He brought his laptop to the couch to start working, sitting beside Naina.

Sameer: Waise kounsi vendor list mangayi thi tumne Vijay se?

Naina: Actually jab main last week Himani se baat kar rahi thi tab usne bataya ki kuch bacche aisse hai jo bade hai aur unko padhne ke liye quiet environment chahiye. Day care ke rooms mein saare age group ke bacche hote hai na. Isliye soch rahi thi ki study room banwa dete hai. Ussi room ke liye furniture aur fittings ki vendors ki list mangayi thi.

Sameer: Idea toh bahut accha hai.

Naina smiled and picked up her book to read. It's been a week since Naina has indulged herself in book reading. Just because her cabin in Maheshwari office wasn't ready, she worked from home. The responsibilities of a CPO is very vast, but few of the crucial things is handled by the HR Department currently, hence the work load for Naina is quite easy. But she plans to slowly lessen the burden of HR department, once the team under her grows. Currently, all the team members under CPO are the employees of other department, who are temporarily working under Naina.

Sameer was engrossed in his laptop and Naina had just finished the current chapter of the book, when Sreeja walked in after knocking on the door.

Sreeja: Naina! I wanted to ask CPO office ke liye interviews kab se schedule karun? Also, tumhe tumhare cabin mein kuch aur changes karwane hai?

Naina: Cabin mein koi changes nahi karwane. Jo layout tumne share kiya tha woh thik hai. Interviews virtual hai ya physical?

Sreeja: Physical hai. Infact HR department se notification aaya hai ki jo interns hai na unke conversion ke liye department allocate karne hai. If you want interns ke interviews aaj kal mein kar sakte hai.

Naina: Hmm, aaj Meer ki meetings hai?

Sreeja: Haan. 12 baje se hai 2 baje tak.

Naina: Ok! Phir abhi 10:30 ho rahe hai. 11:30 baje se interviews shuru karte hai. HR department ke experienced manager ko bulana. Vijay Ji ko bolke unke team se bhi kisi ko bulwa dena.

Sreeja: Thik hai. Waise main free hun, chaho toh thoda ghum aate hai. Feedbacks le sakti ho tum. Uske baad interviews ke liye chalenge.

Sameer: Free kyun nahi hogi. Apne husband ko meri secretary banake, meri biwi ki secretary jo ban gayi ho.

Naina giggled at Sreeja's grumpy face and lightly hit his shoulder. Naina walked to Sreeja and sternly looked at Sameer.

Naina: Aap meri secretary se aisse baat nahi kar sakte hai!

Sreeja: Aur nahi toh! Arso baad mujhe ek sweet boss mili hai. I want to enjoy.

Sameer: Mujh mein kante lage the kya?

Sreeja: Kuch aissa hi samjho. Adhe din muh sadha ke aate the. Galti koi aur kare aur keher mujh par barsate the.

Naina stifled her laugh and looked at Sameer. Sameer looked at his ex-secretary with wide eyes. Before he could say anything, Sreeja ran away with Naina.

Sreeja and Naina were walking around in the floor where all below manager level employees sat. The old faces passed a smile to Naina and Sreeja, and Naina engaged into small conversation with them. A pair of new interns noticed Naina with Sreeja and decided to ask their senior about her.

Intern 1: Ma'am! Woh ladki koun hai?

Senior: Woh toh Sreeja Ma'am hai! Sameer sir ki ex-secretary hai. Abhi humari CPO, Neha ma'am ki secretary hai. Neha ma'am is Sameer sir's wife.

Intern 1: Sreeja Ma'am nahi. Unke saath jo hai. Woh koun hai?

Intern 2: Yahan kaam karti hai kya? Humne pehle kabhi nahi dekha unhe.

Senior looked at Naina and thought about her for some time. The thing is she joined Maheshwari Industries a month ago, and hasn't seen Naina yet and the interns joined this month itself. The times when Naina came to the office, they missed the chance to meet her.

Senior: Amm, pata nahi. Maine bhi pehle kabhi nahi dekha hai usse. Sreeja ma'am ke saath aayi hai toh maybe new joinee hogi.

Intern 1: Chal kar puchte hai. Interaction badhega.

Three of them walked to Naina, who was speaking to a young girl alone, as Sreeja had stepped out to call the HR department and concerned people to inform them about the interview.

Intern 2: Hi!

Naina turned around and gave a smile before replying to them.

Naina: Hey!

Senior: Hi! I am Isha. They are Tara and Payal.

Naina: Hi Tara! Hi Isha! Hi Payal! I am Naina.

Tara: Aap naye aaye ho? Pehle toh kabhi nahi dekha aapko.

The girl with whom Naina was talking to earlier, was about to interrupt but Naina signalled her not to.

Naina: Haan. Main.....HR department mein nayi aayi hun.

Payal: Oh! Tabhi aap Sreeja ma'am ke saath ghum rahe ho.

Isha: Kya matlab?

Tara: CPO office ke liye aaj interviews hai kuch kuch. Sreeja Ma'am, Neha Ma'am aur HR department milke interviews lenge.

Isha: Waise! Ek baat puchun aapse?

Naina: Ji puchiye

Isha: Aap Neha ma'am se mili hai kya? Kaisi hai woh?

Naina: Neha Ma'am?

Isha: Sameer sir ki wife!

Naina (in her mind): Hein? Mera naam Neha kab hogaya?

Tara: Maine suna hai ki Sameer sir ne apne front desk representative ko fire kar diya tha unke liye.

Payal: Main suna hai ki woh bahut sundar hai.

Isha: Aaj tak dekha toh nahi hai but Sameer sir aur Neha Ma'am bahut khubsurat dikhte hai saath mein.

Tara: Maine suna hai ki woh ek business aur lawyer family se aati hai.

Naina: Waise Sameer sir aur unki wife ke pictures internet pe available hai. Aapka mann nahi hua internet pe check karne ka. Sameer Sir ne apne social media pe apni wife ke saath photo bhi dali hai.

Isha: Nahi, kyunki internet pe abhi 36 ladkiyon ki photo aa rahi hai Sameer Sir ki wife ki. Sir aur Ma'am ki saath mein zyada photo bhi nahi hai internet pe.

Tara: Sir ka Instagram account private hai.

Payal: Aap batao na. Dekha hai Neha ma'am ko aapne?

Neha Ma'am ko toh maine bhi nahi dekha hai!

Everyone turned to see Sameer standing at the entrance of the floor, with Sreeja and Vikrant. By the look of Sreeja, Sameer, and Vikrant, Naina and the old employees could understand that they heard what was happening here, and were trying heard to control their laugh. Naina also pressed her lips together to hide her smile.

Isha, Tara, Payal: Good morning Sir!

Sameer walked towards Naina and stood beside her. With amusement in his voice he asked the three of them.

Sameer: Yeh Neha ma'am koun hai?

Isha: Aapki wife Sir! Aap unhe bhul gaye kya?

Sameer giggled and said: Meri wife ka naam Neha nahi hai.

Payal: Hein?

Sameer: Haan. Aur aap apni CPO se already mil chuke ho.

Tara: Kya? Kab sir?

Sameer chuckled and decided to reveal the secret. He looked at Naina and pulled out her phone from his pocket.

Sameer: Tum apna phone mere hi paas chod kar chali gayi thi, Jaan.

Isha, Tara and Payal widened their eyes and looked at Naina who laughed seeing their reaction. She was joined by Sameer and the other old employees present.

Isha: I.....i....i am sorry ma'am. Confusion hogaya tha.

Tara: H...ha....haan ma'am. Hume toh pata bhi nahi tha ki aap humari CPO ho.

Naina: Koi baat nahi. It's ok.

Sreeja: Haan, aur thodi si galati humari PR team ki bhi hai. Humari website pe Naina ma'am ki photo nahi dali hai ab tak.

Sameer: Sreeja! Social media team ko bolo ki yahan office mein jo kuch celebrations hoti hai, uski photos dale humari account pe. I don't want this to happen again.

Payal: Ek baat kahun, if you both allow.

Naina and Sameer nodded at her. With slight nervousness in her demeanor, she stepped forward.

Payal: Aap dono bahut acche lagte ho saath mein. Royal couple jaise!

Samaina smiled at her, and decided to leave after asking everyone to continue their work.

Naina: Aap mujhe bas phone hi dene aaye the na?

Sameer: Ah...haan. Kyun?

Naina: Woh pichle 10 minutes se aap mere saath hi ghum rahe hai. Isliye puch rahi hun.

Sameer: Haan toh.....main apni biwi ke saath apne office mein ghum nahi sakta kya?

Naina: Isiliye main aane ke liye maana kar rahi thi. Aap kaam karoge nahi aur distracted rahoge.

Sameer grinned at her, and wounded his one arm around her waist. He pulled her towards him. Thanks to the hallway being empty, no one saw their boss romancing with his boss.

Sameer: Apni biwi mein khoye rehne ko distraction nahi dekhte Jaan. Usko pyaar kehte hai.

Naina pushed him away, and replied to him.

Naina: Mere pyaare patidev, aapki meeting hai na kuch der mein. Aapko uski prep nahi karni?

Sameer: Karni hai. Par tumhare saath romance bhi karna hai.

Naina: Meer! Yeh office hai. Humara bedroom nahi hai. Jayiye!

Sameer: Toh tum bedroom mein karne dogi? Romance.

Naina: Karte toh hai roz. Ab jayiye! Meeting ko jayiye. Mujhe bhi interviews ke liye jaana hai. Bye!

Naina gave a kiss on his cheek and went towards the lift to go to the floor where the interviews would happen. Sameer kept standing at his place with a constant smile on his face, till she went inside the lift.

Naina was in the middle of the interview of the sixth intern, when the door barged open and a huffing Sameer walked in. He didn't mind the company present with Naina, and simply walked towards her, engulfing her in his arms. He buried his face in her chest, and kneeled in front of her. Naina took few seconds to decipher what happened. When she realised the distressed demeanor of her husband, she signed Sreeja and others to leave. Seeing their CEO, snuggle up to his wife, was a sight not to miss. Hence the innocent intern, secretly took a picture of Samaina. Naina noticed it but didn't react to it. Her central focus was her husband. She weaved her fingers in his hair and murmured soothing words near his ears. She knew something was definitely wrong, through the increasing tightness of his grip around her. She rubbed his back and blew many kisses on his head to calm him down. She knew Sameer would tell what has happened, on his own after sometime. She softly patted his back and decided to move towards the sofa set, as it might cause pain in his knees if Sameer kept kneeling for long.

The moment, Naina sat on the sofa, Sameer snuggled up to her and hid his face in her chest. She leaned on the sofa, and made him lay beside him as well. She wrapped her arms around him and rubbed his back to soothe his tension. After some time, she tilted his head towards her and looked at him.

Naina: Meer, hum yahan se chale?

Sameer didn't say anything and just nodded his head. She messaged Vikrant to get their belongings from Sameer's cabin and told him that they are leaving now.

Naina sat up straight, and made him look at her. She wiped his face with her dupatta which was slightly moist due to sweat, made him drink a glass of water, and kissed his cheeks and forehead.

Naina: Feeling better?

Sameer again nodded. Naina gave him a smile and combed his hair using her fingers. She stood up, making him stand as well, and made him wear his blazer. Tangling her arm around his, she picked up their bag, and walked out of the room. Everyone were looking at them, but they kept walking without bothering the lurking gazes. The picture of Sameer and Naina had gone viral among the employees. Everyone were in awe seeing Sameer showcasing PDA in the office. They joked that maybe Naina should operate the CPO office from office instead of home, and her cabin should be built quickly so that Sameer can be calm and happy in her presence.

Naina drove them to a nearby restaurant, to have Sameer's favorite dishes as their lunch. Seeing him lost, Naina intertwined her fingers with his and started blabbering about how nervous she was, to take an interview. She mentioned how she fumbled few questions for the first two candidates.

Naina: Pata nahi woh ladki kya soch......

Before Naina could continue, Sameer kept his head on her shoulder and wrapped his arm around her waist. She held his arm and rubbed it with her thumb.

Sameer: Mujhse puchogi nahi ki kya hua? Kyun main aisse beech interview mein aake tumse lipat gaya?

Naina smiled and shook her head in denial.

Naina: Mujhe pata hai thodi der mein aap khud mujhe bol doge. Aap woh sab chodo.

And she continued blabbering about each and every candidate. Sameer was able to calm himself, being in Naina's embrace and hearing to her non-stop baseless talks. But the contents of the letter he received back in office, still lingered in his mind.

Bahut jald, tujhse teri sabse keemti cheez. Teri khubsurat biwi chinhni wali hai. Akhri ke kuch din, enjoy kar le uske saath!

These lines revolved around his mind, and he was thinking about who could have sent it to him. And how should he protect his Jaan from this unknown danger.
