Chapter: 50

The following four days in Maheshwari Mansion were filled with the aroma of flowers, agarbatti, diyas, hawan, and delicious delicacies. The walls were decorated with flower garlands and carnations, and the lawn of Maheshwari's had a canopy set up for the Navami Puja where 50 girls and all females of the family were supposed to be worshipped.

Jaiprakash, Vivek, Sameer, Devang, Munna, and Pandit were seen making arrangements for the Puja. Jaiprakash and Vivek stood near the Panditji who was performing the hawan, Pandit and Devang were near the back gate of the lawn, and Munna and Sameer were monitoring the canopy decorations.

Munna: Oh ho Bhaiya! Aaj ho jayega na decoration ya kal ko shift kare function!? Kitna slow kar rahe hai, itne time mein toh humara gabru pura ghar saja deta. Kyun Sameer?

Sameer: Koun gabru? Kya keh raha hai?

Munna: Tu aur koun!

Sameer: Kya bakwaas kar raha hai tu? Tune kab mujhe decoration karte dekha hai?

Sameer smiled and patted Munna's shoulder before replying.

Sameer: Baat toh tu sahi kar raha hai. Mujhe iss saal ki kanyapujan ekdum perfect chahiye!

He started thinking about his favorite ladies when his phone rang and it was his lifeline, his jaan ❤.

Sameer: Hello! Boliye meri jaan!

Naina: Kitni der kamar par haath rakh kar aap decorations karenge!? Zara iss nachis par bhi dhyaan dijiye!

Sameer scrunched his brows in confusion as how Naina knew he was keeping his hand on his waist, and looked around. His eyes fell on the window of their room which opened to the lawn. Naina was standing on the window and waved her hand with a smile.

Sameer: Itni zuraat meri! Jo maine aap par dhyaan nahi diya! Aapka yeh nachis abhi aapke darbar mein pesh hota hai, Mallika-e-Sameer!

Naina giggled and said: Jaldi aayiye.

Sameer ran inside as if he is about miss his train. He knocked on the door twice and entered in. Sameer had adopted this habit of knocking on the door when Naina is inside, from the first day of their marriage. Sameer believed that despite being married, Naina needs her personal space and he needs her permission before entering the room so that he doesn't intrude her personal space. Even though Naina had her asked him not to do so for numerous times now, but Sameer being Sameer remained stubborn.

Entering into their room, Sameer met with an exquisite sight. Naina was dressed in a magenta pink, red, baby pink, dark green, golden, orange, and silver colored multicolor embroidered lehenga, dark green and golden leafed thread work blouse. She was draping her red heavy embroidered thick border bandhani dupatta. Her hair was tied in a messy bun and she was yet to do her hair and makeup. She looked up into the mirror and gave her beautiful smile.

Sameer walked up to her and pinned her dupatta, then wounded his arms around her petite waist, with his cheeks resting on her temple. Naina leaned on him and held his arms.

Sameer: Tum roz roz itni khubsurat kaise dikhti ho Naina?

Naina giggled and shrugged her shoulders.

Naina: Maybe isliye kyunki aap mujhse itna saara pyaar karte hai. Isliye main aapko humesha khubsurat lagti ho.

Sameer chuckled and tightened his hold on her. He nuzzled into her crook of her neck. His nose and light stubble were tickling her soft spot and churning her insides. Sensing her heavy breathing, Sameer started leaving soft kisses on her exposed skin.

Sameer (huskily): Roz roz khubsurat lagti ho aur phir bolti ho ki tumhe chod ke office jaun, bahar jaun, logon se milun. Arre tumhe kya pata, tumhe chodke jaane mein kitni muskil hoti hai mujhe. Mann toh karta hai bas gayab ho jaun tumhare saath. Phir jee bharke tumhare qarib rahunga.

Naina: Toh ruk jayiye! Maine aapko nahi roka hai. Main bhi chahti hun ki aap mere paas rahe. Humesha.

Sameer's fingers started tracing incoherent patterns on her stomach invoking a fire in both of their bodies. Naina was controlling her moans very difficultly as there were people roaming in their house, and anyone could come knocking on their door, searching for them. Sameer's kisses reached near her ear, and his hard kiss behind her ear was the last straw of control for her. The moans which she was controlling, came out and Sameer turned her around swiftly. Her hooded eyes, parted lips, and heaving chest added fuel to the fire of his desires, he leaned on and captured her lips with his. Their lips moved in a sync and so did their feet, hands, fingers, and heartbeats. Sameer guided her to the nearest wall, and pressed into her. His fingers reached the hooks of her blouse and her fingers reached the buttonline of his pink kurta which matched with her skirt. She opened the first few buttons and her roamed her fingers on his collar bone. When his fingers brushed on the rim of her blouse, Naina gasped and Sameer entered her mouth. He started using his tongue which was a new concept for her. Naina held herself back and let him do whatever he wanted.

Since the day they kissed in his office, Samaina have been stealing each other's kisses every now and then.

When it was becoming difficult to breath for them, they left each other, and joined their foreheads. Sameer was still holding her in his arms, and Naina kept her arms wrapped around him.

Sameer: Tum thik ho na?

Naina: Hmm

Sameer kissed her forehead and made her sit on the stool of her makeup table. He knew she would take sometime to get back to her own self. So he started combing her hair. Naina looked at him adoringly.

Sameer: Naina! Ek permission chahiye mujhe tumse.

Naina: Kis cheez ke liye?

Sameer: Tum jo roz raat ko apne baal banati ho, kya aaj se woh main kar sakta hun?

Naina: Kar toh sakte hai. Par karna kyun hai?

Sameer turned her around, and sat near her feet. He held her hands and spoke.

Sameer: Tum din bhar humare ghar aur family ko sambhalti ho. So I want ki jab tum raat ko saara kaam khatam karke aaram karne aao toh tumhe actual aaram mile. Main tumhe pamper karke tumhari din bhar ki thakkan mitana chahta hun.

Naina smiled at him. She brought their intertwined hands near her lips, and kissed the back of his palms and held it closer to her heart.

Naina: Meer, ek hi toh dil hai. Aap kitne baar jeetoge?

Sameer chuckled and said: Woh dil mera hi toh hai. Jaisa yeh dil tumhara hai.

He kissed her forehead and stood up to continue doing her hair. Naina was adoring her husband and started thinking about how did she become so lucky in love that she found the perfect man for herself.

Sameer didn't have much knowledge about hairstyles but he had seen Naina curling her hair few times. So he thought of doing the same today as well. He gave soft curls to her hair and noticed baby breath flowers kept on the table. He tucked them on the two braids he made and attached them to the back of her head.

Naina: Baaki ka main kar lungi Meer. Aap jaldi se taiyar ho jayiye.

Sameer: Taiyaar hi toh hun!

Naina: Aap taiyaar hai? Halat dekhiye apni! Paseene mein dubb chuke hai. Bola tha maine ki jo kurta pehna hai puja mein woh pehenke neeche decorations dekhne maat jayiye. Par aapne kya kiya? Meri baat nahi suni!

Sameer: Abhi AC mein baithunga toh saara paseena gayab ho jayega Jaan. You don't worry!

Naina: Nahi! Aap yeh wala kurta nahi pehen rahe. Main aapke liye dusra nikal deti hun.

Sameer: Par Jaan yeh wala kurta tumhare lehenge ke saath match kar raha hai. Kurta change kar lunga toh tumhare saath twin kaise karunga?

Sameer pouted his lips in sorrow and looked at her with puppy eyes. Naina chuckled and pecked his pout. She held his face in her palm and replied.

Naina: Aapko mayus hone ki koi zaroorat nahi hai. Mere paas ek aur pink kurta hai jo mere lehenge ke saath match karega.

Sameer's eyes glittered hearing this and he hugged his wife tightly. Naina chuckled and rubbed his back.

Naina: Aap bilkul ek bacche jaise hai. Aur mujhe yeh baccha bahut pyaara lagta hai.

Sameer: Aur mujhe tum!

Naina went and brought a mauve pink silk kurta with same color waist coat with gold sequin spiral designs and same color silk pyjama.

By the time she was selecting his outfit, Sameer selected jewellery for her. He selected a pink beads and polki choker necklace and earring set. He also made a bangles set using baby pink, dark green and magenta matte bangles, golden and silver glittered and stoned bangles, and water drop designed golden kangan.

When Sameer came out of the washroom after changing, he noticed Naina giving final stroke to her lipstick. Like always Naina opted for light makeup, and looked heavenly gorgeous!

Sameer walked to her and his eyes met with her eyes. He rotated his palms around her face and cracked his knuckles against his temple. Naina chuckled and turned around. She dabbed her finger on her waterline, and got some kajal to apply on her husband's nape.

Sameer: I love you Jaan

Naina: I love you too Meer

After sharing few moments together, they walked out of their room and went to the backyard where the setup for the puja was getting ready.

Meanwhile in Agrawal House, Bela and Beena were running around to finish their works before leaving for Maheshwari Mansion.

Beena: Yeh kya hai Naresh Ji!? Maine subah aapko bola tha na ki apni files kamre mein rakh dijiye. Abhi bhi yeh sab yahin padi hai.

Bela: Preeti ke Papa! Yeh kya hai!? Maine aapko ek ghante pehle yeh fruits di thi khane apne abhi tak nahi khaya.

Beena: Bela! Yeh dono bhai kisi kaam ke nahi hai. Jo bolte hai uska ulta karna hota hai inhe.

Rakesh: Bilkul! Sahi kaha Bhabhi aapne!

Dressed up in his little princess's favorite baby blue kurta, Rakesh walked up to the fuming Agrawal ladies, adjusting his spectacles. He stood in between both of them and wounded his arms around their shoulders.

Rakesh said teasingly: Kaise pati hai yeh dono? Apni sundar sundar biwiyon ki baat nahi sunte. Ghor kalayug hai bhaiya!

Bela: Dekhiye! Kuch sikhiye apne bade bhai se, Preeti ke Papa! Rakesh bhaisahab taiyar bhi ho gaye hai. Aur ek aap hai! Abhi tak baithe hai balance sheet haath mein liye!

Naresh: Rakesh! Teri bachpan ki adat gayi nahi huh! Bachpan mein bhi jab Maa aur Babuji hume dant lagate the tu beech mein aa jaata tha aag mein ghee dalne aur ab bhi!

Anand: Bhaiya! Bhuliye maat aap humare bhai hai. Bhabhi aur Bela ke nahi!

Rakesh: Dekho Anand babu! Main aap dono ka bhai hun aur inn dono ka bhi. Toh kya hua agar yeh rishte mein meri bhabhiyan hai. Main toh inhe meri badi aur choti behen manta hun.

Beena smiled at Rakesh, and patted his head. Bela was overwhelmed with Rakesh's affection and she too passed a big smile to him. In the Agrawal household, there were no such rules that the brother-in-law and sister-in-law need to maintain distance or can't be free enough with each other. From day one, the bond shared between Rakesh, Beena, Anand, and Naresh, Bela, Rakesh were like brother and sister. They have fun banters and also loving and caring moments.

Rakesh: Iss ghar ka sahabzada kahan hai?

Bela: Apni pyaari bhanji ke liye kuch lene gaya hai.

Naresh: Ek baat kahun! Uss bacchi ne hum sab ka dil apni mutthi mein kar diya hai. Uss pyaari si nanhi si jaan se koi kaise dur reh sakta hai. Pata nahi Poonam ka, Kamlesh ji ka aur Prabha ji ka dil kaise nahi pighal raha hai uss nanhi si jaan ko dekhkar.

Beena: Devang bhi toh inn sab mein piss raha hai. Iss pure situation ka asar uss bechare par sabse zyada ho raha hai. Poonam ko ab apni narazagi chod deni chahiye.

Rakesh: Bhabhi, zakhm dono ko mile hai woh bhi gehre. Waqt lagega bharne mein. Yeh sahi baat hai ki inn sab mein uss maasoom bacchi ka koi qusoor nahi hai. Ab unn teeno ki qismat ki dor waqt ke haathon hai.

Anand: Aaj khushi ka din hai. Hum humari dono rajkumariyon se milenge. Chalo chalo! Jaldi taiyaar hote hai.

Naresh and Anand had gone to their respective room to get their clothes changed, Rakesh sat on the sofa and started reading newspaper, Beena and Bela went to check on Preeti and Pranati who were getting ready in their rooms.

Suddenly the door bell rang, Rakesh stood up and went to open the door. The opened door revealed the Agrawal brothers' cousin younger sister, Gayatri. She was giving Rakesh a sweet smile which he knew, will not spread any sweetness in his house.

Rakesh (to himself): Tyohaar ke din yeh kahan se aagayi?

Gayatri: Kya bhaiya!? Apni choti behen ko darwaze par hi khada rakhenge kya?

Rakesh: Nahi nahi! Woh tujhe itne din baad dekha na toh chaunk gaya tha. Andar aa.

Gayatri nodded and dragged her suitcase inside. She touched Rakesh's feet and sat on the sofa exhaling loudly.

Rakesh: Jamaisa aur Jeevan nahi aaye?

Gayatri: Nahi bhaiya! Inhe chutti nahi mili aur woh Jeevan ko KT lagi hai. Padhai kar raha hai ghar pe.

Rakesh: KT? Phir se? Pichle saal hi toh lage the KT uske 4 paper mein. Phir se iss baar bhi KT lagi? Padhai wadhai nahi karta kya?

Gayatri: Sab aap sabke bacchon ki tarah acche kismat ke saath paida thodi hotehai, Bhaiya. Kuch bacche mere Jeevan ki tarah bhi hote hai.

Rakesh: Humare bacchon ki kismat nahi mehnat acchi hoti thi Gayatri. Pralay aur Naina apni padhai puri sachai aur imaandaari se karte the. Aur Preeti, woh apne bhai behen ki tarah hi lagan se padhti hai.

Hearing Rakesh talking to someone, Bela, Beena, Naresh, Anand, Preeti and Pranati walked into the Hall. Seeing Gayatri inside their home, their happy mood was spoiled a bit. When Gayatri noticed the Agrawal elderly couple, she walked to them and touched each one of theirs' feet and took their blessings. Same was done by Preeti and Pranati.

Gayatri: Yeh kya bahu? Tere saamne teri dono saason ne saree pehni aur tune suit pehna hai. Mummy ne kuch bataya nahi hai kya? Lo! Shaadi ke do saal mein bhi tujhe nahi pata ki bahu ko saas sasur ke saamne kaise rehna hai?

Naresh: Pranati humari bahu nahi, beti hai. Aur iss ghar mein Pranati, Naina, aur Preeti mein koi antar nahi hai.

Gayatri giggled forcibly and replied: Bhaisahab mein toh bas sikha rahi thi.....

Beena: Sikhana hai toh apne bete ko sikhao Gayatri. Suna humne abhi, usko phir se KT lagi hai.

Bela: Din bhar aawaragardi karega toh number kahan se aayenge Bhabhi. Gayatri, tumhe apne bete ko sudharna hi hoga.

Gayatri: Haan haan! Sudhar lungi. Waise yeh batayiye ki aap sab yun banthan kar kahan ja rahe hai?

Rakesh: Naina ke sasuraal. Har saal Navami ke din Babuji mera matlab hai ki Naina ke dadasasur, apne parivaar ki saari auraton aur ladkiyon ka, 50 kanyaon ke saath puja karte hai. Iss saal Naina bhi puja mein sammil ho rahi hai, aur humari Preeti aur Pranati bhi. Toh isliye bulaya hai.

Gayatri (faking her goodness): Oh! Thik hai. Aap log jao, main yahin rukti hun. Mujhe thodi amantrana mila hai.

Rakesh knew she was acting, and to keep respect for his late uncle aunt and parents' upbringing he invited her along.

Rakesh: Tu chal, Naina ko accha lagega tujhse milkar. Aur tu uski shaadi mein bhi nahi aayi thi. Sameer aur uske parivaar se mil lena.

Gayatri: Sameer?

Anand: Naina ka pati.

Gayatri: Aap uske pati ko naam se bulate ho?

Beena: Ussi ne hume kaha hai. Sameer ne saaf saaf kaha tha ki woh humara beta hai damad nahi toh hum usse damad jaisa treatment na de......

Gayatri: Mere inko toh aap Jamaisa bulate ho. Unhe kabhi apna nahi maana.
Khair! Jo karna hai kijiye.

Naresh: Tu zyada patar patar maat kar. Jaake taiyaar ho ja. Hume late nahi hona hai puja ke liye.

Gayatri: Beena bhabhi! Woh......aapki woh blue wali saree milegi kya jo aapne Pralay ki shaadi mein pehna tha. Bahut khubsurat tha woh.
Main nahi mangti par mujhe nahi maloom tha ki aate hi Naina ke sasuraal jaana padega.

Beena (murmured): Aate hi mangna shuru hogaya.

She gave a fake smile to Gayatri and went to her room to get the saree Pralay had got for her to wear at his wedding.

Bela: Bhabhi! Yeh Gayatri ka aana kuch thik nahi lag raha hai. Upar se aaj Naina ka uske sasuraal mein pehla tyohaar hai. Kuch ulta seedha bol diya agar Gayatri ne toh?

Beena: Usko yahan chodke ja bhi nahi sakte Bela. Bharosa nahi hai woh kab humari kounsi cheez par nazar rakh kar wapisi ke waqt le jaaye.

Bela: Baat toh sahi hai. Hum na iss baat ka dhyaan rakhenge ki Gayatri Babuji, Vivek bhaisahab, Sameer, Naina, Devang aur humari gudiya se dur rahe.

Beena: Tyohaar aur khushiyon ka maahaul hoga wahan, iss jalkukudi ki jubaan kadwahat hi phelayegi.

Bela: Mujhe toh yeh samjh nahi aata yeh humesha apne aap ki dusron ke saath comparison kyun karti rehti hai.

Beena: Bhagwaan hi jaane Bela. Mujhe toh shaadi ke pehle din se yeh kuch khas pasand nahi hai. Jab dekho aag ugalti hai.

Bela: Ek baat bataiye Bhabhi, Jamaisa ki naukari acchi khasi hai. Paise bhi thik kamate hai. Jeevan bhi acche college mein padh raha hai. Phir Gayatri ko kis baat ki comparison karni hai? Jab bhi aati hai rone lagti hai ki Jamaisa kuch dhyaan nahi rakhte.

Beena: Babuji ke chote bhai ki eklauti beti hai. Badon ke jaane ke baad tere Bade Bhaisahab sabse bade huye na. Aur jab Chachaji ki death huyi tab Gayatri mere khayal se 12th padh rahi thi. Uske baad usko pucha bhi gaya tha ki padhai karni hai ki nahi. Usne kaha ki usko nahi padhna hai,aur uske liye ladke dekhna shuru kar le. Uske shaadi ke liye ladke dekhna shuru hua, uske kuch hi mahine baad shayad Anand CA karne gaya tha, Chennai. Acche ladke the toh tere bade bhaisahab ne rishta wahan karadiya.
Ussi saal toh Pralay paida hua tha, Babuji aur Amma ki tabiyat susht thi, aur Rakesh Rama bhi ghar par nahi the. Tere bhaisahab akele sab karte the. Woh toh accha hua ki agle saal se hi Rakesh ne tere bhaisahab ki zimmedaari bantni shuru kar di. Uska business shuru hogaya tha. Paise thik thak aa rahe the aur usne Babuji Amma ke ilaaj ka kharcha uthaya.
Sab pata tha usse phir bhi Gayatri roti hai. Aur aaj tak roti hai!

Khair! Ab bahar chal. Warna aa jayegi woh matak matak kar. Tu ek kaam kar kuch din ke liye apne bhai ke yahan ho aa. Jitna tujhe dekhegi utna mann karega isse pakwan khane ka. Aur tu kuch bolti bhi nahi hai isse. Mere saath rahegi toh apni hadh mein rahegi yeh.

Bela: Kaise bol dun Bhabhi? Bhale rishte mein choti hai par umra mein toh badi hai na mujhse....

Before Bela and Beena could talk to each other more, the door bell rang. Beena picked the saree and went out to find Roy Choudhary family in their living room.

Bela: Arre aap log!

Purvi: Namaste Bela Aunty! Namaste Beena Aunty!

Beena: Namaste beta. Baitho na, main abhi aap sab ke liye sharbat leke aati hun.

Purvi: Nahi nahi Aunty, sharbat ki zaroorat nahi hai. Hum toh bas yeh kuch gifts dene aaye hai.

Rakesh: Gifts?

Ruhaan: Ji Uncle. Actually hum har Navaratri ya Durga Pujo mein apne relatives ko kuch na kuch gifts dete hai. Aaj free the toh yahan chale aaye.

Purvi: Subah Vivek Uncle mile the bata rahe the ki unke yahan Kanyapujan hai aur woh shaam tak chalegi.

Ruhaan: Hume bulaya tha but aaj Navami hai na toh Mumbai Bengali community ke pandal mein puja hai aur hume wahan jaana tha.....

Rohan: Hum uncertainty mein the ki aap log honge ya nikal gaye honge Maheshwari Mansion ke liye.....

Gayatri: Par tum log ho koun?

Gayatri's blunt question embarrassed Agrawal family and made Roy Choudhary family little bit apprehensive about coming here.

Naresh: Beta! Yeh Gayatri hai humari chacheri behen.
Gayatri! Yeh Rohan hai aur uske Bhai Bhabhi. Rohan aur Preeti saath mein padhte hai aur yeh teeno Naina ke padosi bhi hai. Isliye jaan pehchan badh gayi hai.

Anand: Purvi Beta! Ruhaan Beta! Hume accha laga ki tum hume apna maante ho but Beta gifts and all....Hum nahi le sakte Beta.

Ruhaan: Uncle! Aap beta bol rahe hai aur paraya bhi kar rahe hai. Aur hum kuch zyada nahi laaye hai. Bas fruits, mithai, aur dry fruits hi hai.

Purvi: Rakesh Uncle, aapke liye sugar free mithai hai. Naina ji aur Sameer ji jab aaye the hume invite karne tab bataya tha ki aapko diabetes hai.

Rakesh: Yeh lo! Woh dono har jagah dhindora peet rahe hai ki mujhe diabetes hai. Chain se jeene nahi denge dono shaitaan.

Naresh: Shaitaan tu hai ya woh dono? Cheating tu karta hai aur bill bacchon ke naam ka phad raha hai!

Rakesh: Bhaisahab! Aap bhi? Aap toh meri team mein the na?

The Roy Choudhary family was surprised seeing the banter between the two Agrawal brothers.

Beena: Tum teeno hairaan maat ho. Yeh toh roz ka hai.

Purvi: Aunty! Gifts le lijiye na. Mujhe accha lagega.

Preeti: Taiji! Boudi itna keh rahi hai toh le lijiye.

Bela: Thik hai! Par beta, hum bhi tum teeno ko khali haath nahi bhejenge. Ruko ek min.

Bela ran inside her room and brought three envelopes. She had put in ₹500 notes inside it and handed one to three of them.

Bela: Ruhaan beta, tum mahine ka bahut paisa kamate ho. Uske aage shayad yeh ₹500 ke note kam ho par.....

Ruhaan: Aunty! Badon ke ashirwaad ke aage duniya jahan ki daulat choti hoti hai. Hum teeno inn envelopes ko sambhal kar rakhenge.

Purvi: Ji! Accha ab hum chalte hai. Aapko bhi der ho rahi hogi. Hum milte hai phir kabhi.

When the Agrawal family entered Maheshwari Mansion, everyone except for one person was adoring the decorations and arrangements with appreciative eyes. They knew that these works were done by their son in law Sameer, Devang, Munna, and Pandit. But Gayatri was eyeing everything with greed and jealousy. She was aware of the fact that Naina was married off in a businessman's family but what she didn't know that her in-laws were filthy rich.

Rakesh, whose eyes were continously searching for his princess, was engulfed in a tight hug. Someone had hugged his waist. And that someone was his new princess.

Pari: Nanu!

Rakesh's face broke with a big smile and he lifted the goofball in his arms.

Rakesh: Meri gudiya! Kab se tujhe aur teri Chachi ko dhundh raha hun. Kahan thi tu? Chup gayi thi kya?

Pari: Pari toh abhi abhi aayi hai. Aur Pretty Chachi.......ammm........haan! Woh dekho! Wahan hai! Big Dadu ke saath!

Ruko main leke aati hun.

Pari wriggled out of his arms and ran towards her Pretty chachi. She tugged Naina's dupatta and grabbed her attention. Pointing towards the Agrawal family, she dragged her Pretty Chachi and Big Dadu towards them.

Naina: Papa!

She hugged her father tightly as if she saw him after decades whereas they met just two days ago. The Agrawal family greeted Jaiprakash and Naina hugged each one of her family member.

Naina: Buaji? Aap?

Just like every other member of her family, Naina too didn't like Gayatri. As Gayatri had been always on Naina's nerves.

Gayatri: Kyun? Nahi aa sakti tere sasuraal?

Naina: Nahi nahi aissa nahi hai!
(To Jaiprakash) Dadaji, yeh humari Bua hai. Papa ki chacheri behen.

Gayatri: Jai Shrikrishna Uncle ji

Jaiprakash gave a small smile to her. He didn't like the way Gayatri had replied to Naina. He could feel that this lady meant only trouble.

Naina: Buaji, yeh Pari hai. Meri bhatiji.
(To Pari) Betu, yeh aapke Nanus ki small sister hai. Namaste karo.

Pari nodded her head and touched Gayatri's feet. Gayatri gave a small smile and patted her head.

Pralay: Pari toh hume bhul gayi hai! Kyun Chote Nanu? Aate hi sidha Nanu ke paas pahunch gayi.

Anand: Aur nahi toh! Pari ke favorite Nanu ka pata chal gaya hume.

Jaiprakash: Arre yeh toh kuch nahi. Yahan bhi bas Sameer aur Naina ke saath rehti hai. Hume toh bhul hi gayi hai.

Pari: Haaw Big Dadu! Lier lier tants on fire! Two days se aapke saath play kar rahi hun.

Naina: Baby woh pants hota hai tants nahi.

Naresh: Waise Babuji, Vivek bhaisahab, Sameer aur baaki sab dikhai nahi de rahe hai.

Sameer: Hum yahan hai......

Sameer gave a big smile to his in-laws and touched their feet. He greeted Gayatri as well and the next moment Pari jumped into his arms.

Pari: Sameer Chachu! Apne see kiya kya?

Sameer: Kya?

Pari: Main, aap, Papa, aur Pretty Chachi matchy matchy hai! Dekho! Mera aur Pretty Chachi ka dress same same hai. Aapne pink pehna hai aur Papa ne green.

Sameer: Arre waah! Aap toh kitne smart ho! Hum mein se toh kisi ne yeh dekha hi nahi tha.

Pari grinned and patted her shoulder herself. Everyone chuckled at the cute goofball's antics.

Naina: Aap log wahan baithiye, puja kuch hi time mein shuru ho jayega...

Bela: Hum mehmaan thodi hai beta jo baith jaaye. Ghar ke hi hai na. Tu bata kuch kaam hai jo hum kar sake?

Sameer: Saara kaam hum ladkon ne kar liya hai Chachiji. Aap sab bas aaram se baithiye aur sharbat pijiye.

After sometime, the Kanya Puja got commenced. Like every year, Jaiprakash and Vivek started off the puja with doing the aarti of Janaki and Vaishali's photo first. Then Naina, Pari, Preeti, Pranati, Poonam, Anjali, and Swati were made to sit on the front row. Vivek did the puja of Naina, Jaiprakash did the puja of Poonam, Sameer did puja of Preeti and Pranati, Devang did puja of Pari, Munna did puja of Anjali, and Pandit did puja of Swati. After their aarti, the men gifted their respective girls, gifts of clothes, jewellery, fruits, dry fruits, make-up, and other feminine stuff.
Following this, the whole Maheshwari family started the kanya pujan of all 50 girls. They were gifted with ₹100 note, dry fruits, fruits, sweets, a gold chain, hairbands, and other stuffs.

Gayatri: Bade raaes ghar mein apni beti beyahai hai Rakesh bhaiya ne! Kanya pujan mein sone ki chain de rahe hai. Naina ke kapde aur jevar toh dekho, usko dekh kar lag hi nahi raha hai ki woh ek middle class ghar se hai.
(To Bela) Bhabhi, ab Preeti ki shaadi bhi ek raees ghar mein karni padegi aapko. Warna log kya kahenge, badi behen ek mahel ko gayi aur choti behen ek kutiya mein gayi.

Naresh: Preeti ki shaadi kahan hogi, aur kiske saath hogi woh hum dekh lenge. Tu ismein apna dimaag na laga.

Anand: Gayatri, beti ke sasuraal aaye hai. Agar accha nahi bol sakti toh aisse adhe tedhe baatein bhi maat kar.

Gayatri: Sach bolne se mirchi lag gayi Bhaiya? Naina naina karte nahi thakte aap. Ab ussi Naina ko bolna apne pati jaisa ameer aur raes aadmi leke aaye Preeti ki shaadi ke liye. Taki kal ko koi yeh na bole ki aapne apne betiyon mein bhed bhav kiya hai.
Kyunki Naina ki Maa nahi hai. Usko humesha se aap sabne favor kiya hai. Jabse Rama Bhabhi gayi hai tabse aap charon ne usko palakon pe baithaya hai. Directly na sahi par indirectly bacchon mein farq kiya hai. Maa ke jaane se jaise uski kismat chamak gayi. Preeti aur Pralay se zyada lad pyaar jo milne lag gaya. Aur ab arabapatiyon ke ghar ki bahu ban gayi. Kismat ho toh Naina jaisi. Aur dimaag Rakesh Bhaiya jaisa. Biwi ke marne par parivaar ke haathon beti ko paal diya, aur ab paise wala damad dhundh liya. Kabhi kuch zaroorat pade toh pahunch jayenge damad ke paas. Life sorted hai dono baap beti ka.

Anand Bhaiya! Naresh Bhaiya! Ab aapko sambhal kar chalna hoga. Kahin kisi din Rakesh bhaiya apne jamai ke paison ki dhonsh na dikhana chalu kar de.

Gayatri's bitter words weren't unheard by Rakesh. And also by Sameer, who was coming towards his in-laws to ask them about what they would like to have. He could see his Papaji's eyes getting moist. He walked to him and held him from behind. Feeling someone embrace him, Rakesh could feel his strength slipping off. He could never think that someone would see his and Naina's situation in this manner.

Sameer: Papaji, aap Bua ji ki baaton par dhyaan maat dijiye.

Rakesh: Kaise na dun Beta? Aaj Gayatri ne yeh socha hai, kal ko agar kisi aur ne aissa socha toh?

Sameer: Papaji! Mujhe aur mere parivaar ko pata hai ki aap ka aissa kuch intention nahi hai. In fact main aur meri family hi rishta leke aaye the.

Rakesh: Beta iss baat ko tum samjhte ho. Par baakiyon ka kya?

Sameer: Baaki log kya bolte hai aur kya nahi uss par aapko dhyan hi kyun dena hai? Papaji, aapke pure parivaar ko aapka sach pata hai. Bas itna hi important hona chahiye. Nahi?

Rakesh: Beta tum bahut acche ho. Sach mein, tum karodon mein ek ho. Main bahut bahut lucky hun jo mujhe tum mile mere bete ke roop mein.

Sameer smiled at his father in-law and took him away from Gayatri. Rakesh and Sameer joined Vivek, Jaiprakash, Naina, and Devang in pampering Pari who apparently tripped over her lehenga and had a small wound. The festivities continued till dusk and thank god Gayatri didn't create any drama.

Jaiprakash: Hash! Bahut accha raha aaj ka program. Nahi?

Vivek: Haan Papa! Bacchiyaan bhi bahut pyaari pyaari aayi thi.

Jaiprakash: Tum sab jaake kapde badal aao. Subah se inn bhari kapadon mein ghum rahe ho.

Everyone nodded and went to get changed. Sameer just sprawled on their bed with his arms and legs wide open. Naina chuckled seeing him jump on the bed. She sat near the dressing table and started undoing her hairstyle.

Naina: Aaj thakan zyada hogayi na?

Sameer: Hmm.....aissa lag raha hai ki kisine meri puri body par bulldozer chala diya hai. Kaise toh karke seedhi chadhke aaya hun.

Naina: Aap jaake garam paani mein shower le lijiye. Aapko accha lagega.

Sameer laid down on his stomach and gazed at his wife through the mirror. He held his face in between his palms and looked at his wife with puppy love eyes.

Sameer: Waise main soch raha tha ki kal koi puja wagerah nahi hai. Toh jaldi uthna nahi padega. Toh kyun na tum aur main long drive par chale? Bahut din ho gaye hai humne akele mein time spend nahi kiya hai.

Naina: Abhi koi keh raha tha ki itni thakkan hai ki jaise bulldozer chadh gaya ho.....Yahin kahin toh the woh. Kahan gaye?

Sameer: Aapki sewa ke liye aapka yeh mulazim humesha taiyaar hai, Begum Sahiba.

Naina: Oh ho! Kya baat hai! Subah se dekh rahi hun, janab ke andaz bade shayarana hai....

Sameer: Ab aap khud chand si khubsurat ban subah se mere aas paas chamak rahi hai. Toh nachis ko shayarana toh banna padega na.....
But jokes apart, Naina. Jab se wapas aaye hai roz kuch na kuch hota rehta hai ghar pe. Life na ho, Ekta Kapoor ki serial bangayi. Mujhe aaj ek raat ke liye selfish banna hai. Inn saari tension ko bhul kar tumhare saath kuch waqt bitana hai.

Naina kept her jewellery on the table, and walked to her husband. She sat next to his elbow, and the next second Sameer had placed his head on her lap.

Naina: Selfish mujhe bhi banna hai. Maine aapke saath, Dadaji ke saath, aur Papaji ke saath sukoon ke pal bitaye hi nahi hai itne dino se. Tension ke mahool mein yeh sab dimaag ko laane ke liye bhi darr lag raha tha.

Sameer: Toh aaj raat ke liye iss ghar aur fikr ko tata bye bye bolte hai. Kyun na hum abhi hi nikal jaaye? Fresh ho jao, phir mast ghum kar aur dinner karke wapis aayenge.

Naina: Amm, kar sakte hai. Waise bhi raat ko dinner nahi banana hai. Papaji aur Dadaji ne kaha tha ki woh salad ya fruits kha lenge. Pari aur Devang bhaiya pizza party karne wale hai. Poonam Bhabhi, Vishakha Aunty, Prabha Aunty aur Kamlesh Uncle.....

Sameer: Main Prabha Aunty se baat kar leta hun. Unko bol deta hun ki woh jo khana chahe order kar le. Warna dopaher ke leftovers se kuch kha le.

Naina: Ammm, main phataaphat kuch bana dun unn charon ke liye?

Sameer: Nahi Naina! Tum kal tak rest pe ho. So kitchen jaane ka sochna maat.

Naina: Accha baba thik hai. Aap Aunty se baat kar lo. But uss se pehle kapde change kar lijiye.

Sameer nodded and went inside the closet to get ready in something comfortable for their outing. He spotted a light blue cotton buttoned shirt and paired it with his denims. When he entered into their room after freshening up, he spotted Naina dressed in a white and pale blue chikankari suit. She was braiding her hair and had cleaned up her face from the extra makeup. Sameer smiled at his pretty wife, and walked till her. He stood behind her and held her shoulders, kissed her head and asked her to come downstairs once done. Meanwhile, he would update Vivek and Jaiprakash about their little outing.

When Sameer descended from the stairs, he noticed Poonam standing near the threshold of the lawn door. He walked further and saw Devang and Pari building a cloth tent in the lawn. Sameer noticed that Poonam was looking at them with longing eyes. He wanted to speak to Poonam but chose to do the opposite.

He went towards Jaiprakash's study room which was on the ground floor and informed him about his and Naina's outing.

By the time Naina came in, the temperature of the car was soothing and her favorite Arijit Singh's songs were playing. She gave a full blown smile to her husband, and gave him a big kiss on his cheeks. Sameer chuckled and ignited the car's engine.

Naina: Hmm, toh kahan le rahe hai aap mujhe?

Sameer: Socha hai ki sea link par drive karke Udupi to Mumbai mein mast dosa khake aaye. Kya bolti ho?

Naina: Phir wapisi ke waqt Naturals ki ice cream? Marine drive pe baith kar khayenge!

Sameer: Ok done!

Sameer drove out of the gates of Maheshwari House, and they went towards the Bandra-Worli Sea link. Passing through the lushy and posh bungalows of richie richs like Maheshwari, the Maheshwari couple reached the soothing Juhu beach and spotted many love birds like them, and happy families like theirs.

Sameer: Naina, ek baat kahu?

Naina: Meer! You don't need permission before speaking.

Sameer: Haan but.....khair chodo. Woh.....Naina, don't mind but mujhe tumhari woh bua kuch khas nahi lagi aaj. I mean, I respect her for being an elder but unke baat karne ka lehza aur specifically unki baatein kuch thik nahi lagi.

Naina: Unhe ghar par koi bhi pasand nahi karta. Bas, humare dadaji ke chote bhai ki beti hai, isliye Papa aur baaki sab bade unhe entertain karte hai. Waise bhi Gayatri Bua ko kisi bhi baat se khushi nahi hoti. Jab dekho tab sirf shikaayaten karti hai.

Sameer: Mujhe laga tha ki tum acche aur caring logon ke beech pali badhi ho, but tumhare naseeb mein bhi ek character thi.

Naina laughed at it and started sharing a funny anecdote of her childhood.

Naina: Main aapko ek mazedaar kissa sunati hun. Gayatri Bua ke alawa humari ek aur Bua hai jo humari dadi ki behen ki beti hai. But woh sabse badi hai umar mein. Unka naam Renu hai. Abhi woh apne dono bete aur bahuon ke saath New York mein rehti hai. Woh bahut acchi hai. Ekdum gud jaisi meethi hai woh hum bacchon ke saath, aur jo koi kuch galat karta toh Hitler jaisi ban jaati thi unke saath. Ek baar humari dono Bua ek saath aa gayi. Pehle ek do chaar din bina kisi drama ke guzre. Bas Gayatri Bua apna dukhda roti thi. Kaise unki shaadi karwa di gayi aur unko padhne ke mauka nahi mila, Fufaji uss waqt bank mein PO the toh jeb thodi tight thi unki, toh thik se kuch kharid nahi pati aur wagera wagera. Renu Bua ke andar itna saara frustration bhara hua tha ki puchiye maat. Renu Bua kuch khas padhi likhi nahi hai, par Fufaji ne aur unke dono beton ne unhe bahut kuch sikha diya. Fufaji bahut acche the. Unko heart attack aaya aur woh chal base. Tabhi shayad Gaurav, Renu Bua ka chota beta jo mujhse 3 saal chota hai woh shayad 5th mein tha. Aur Gautam bhaiya 10th mein the shayad. Toh Renu Bua ne ek chota sa masalon ka business khola tha. Woh ghar par sab banake beychti thi. Aur woh business accha chala aur unhone dono bacchon ko khub padhaya. Bahut sangharsh kiya hai unhone. Aur aaj bahut khush hai apne bacchon ke saath. Dono top ke doctors hai aur unki wives bhi.

Toh hua yeh ki, Renu Bua ko bilkul nahi pasand agar koi apne halat ko sudharne ke koshish ke bajaye usse kosse. Aur Gayatri Bua wahi kar rahi thi. Pehli baar dono saath ek hi chatth ke neeche the. Meri ninth ke exams mein bahut acche marks aaye the. Aur Papa ki aadat thi mere results wale din woh cake banate the. Toh lag gaya pura parivaar celebrations ki taiyaari mein. Gayatri Bua ne cake cutting se thik pehle taane maarne shuru kar diye Papa aur Tauji ko. Kaise bade bhai hone ke naate unhone Chote Dadaji ke jaane ke baad unka khayal nahi rakha. Itna saara paisa tha phir bhi unka future barbaad kar diya. Iss baat par Renu Bua ko chidh macchi. Aur agle din Renu Bua ne Taiji aur Chachiji se kaha ki woh dono bahar ghumne chali jaaye. Aur hum sab bacchon ko bhi bhej diya. Ghar par dono Bua thi. Pata nahi Renu Bua ne kya kiya par jab hum shaam ko wapis aaye, tab Gayatri Bua ki halat kharab thi aur woh baaki jitne ruki utne din kuch negative nahi boli.

Sameer laughed at it and said: Zaroor koi special masale taste karwa honge Renu Bua ne.

Naina giggled at it and looked out of the window. They had finally reached the Bandra-Worli Sea Link, and oh boy! The place looked so peaceful. Maybe due to the ongoing festive season, not many people were out of their homes, which had reduced the number of vehicles on the bridge. Looking at his wife's glittering eyes, Sameer rolled downed the glass of her window, and let the cool play with her face and hair. Naina looked at her husband and gave a big smile to him. He also opened the sunroof of their car and prompted her to stand up and enjoy it.

Naina: Nahi Meer, main khidki ke bahar sar nikal kar enjoy kar lungi. Sunroof par nahi khada hona hai. Koi dekhega toh kya kahega?

Sameer: Kisi ke dekhne ya na dekhne se kya farq padta hai? Tum apne life ke haar pal ko enjoy karo. Logon ka kya hai? Woh toh kuch na kuch baatein banaate rehte hai. Unka sunne gaye toh hogaya.

Naina: Par.....

Sameer: Sshhh! Main hun na tumhare saath! Phir? Ab.....No more discussion! Jaldi se khadi ho jao! Adha bridge khatam hone wala hai!

All Naina needed was a little push from him. Naina stood up and took her head out of the opened sunroof. Her short tendrils were flowing along with the breeze and her eyes twinkled just like the fairy lights of the bridge. Sameer had kept his left arm behind her waist, so that her balance won't be lost if he applies the brake. Sameer could sense the exhilaration of his wife, and he knew the Naina wouldn't have said about opening the sunroof so that she will stand and let the air flow through her. He had many times noticed Naina looking at the sunroof and hesitating to ask him about opening it. So, today, Sameer finally put an end to her hesitation.

Sameer loved seeing Naina enjoy things that she desires. The death of her mother, and the obnoxious ominous things fed by her Aunts' under the influence of their short-term selfishness, had made Naina like this. She always hesitated to ask something from her father as well. But now that she is married to Sameer, all of her wishes would be fulfilled.

When Naina saw the end of the bridge approaching, she lowered herself and sat in her seat. Sameer slowed down the car and parked it aside. He faced his wife and spotted sheer happiness spread all over her face.

Sameer: Toh? Kaisa laga?

Naina: Bahut acchaaaaa! Mujhe laga ki main ek choti bacchi hun. Bilkul tension free aur inn hawaon ka maza le rahi thi.

Sameer: Accha laga na, toh kyun maana kar rahi thi? Log kya sochenge yeh sochna humara kaam nahi hai, Jaan. Humara kaam bas apni khushi dhundne ka hai. Jo cheez hume khushi de usse karne ka hai.

Naina smiled at her husband, and wounded her arm around his, and rested her head on his shoulder.

Naina: Thank you so much! Mujhe force karne ke liye. Agar aap force nahi karte toh main khadi nahi hoti aur mujhe itna mazza nahi aata.

Sameer: Kya tum bhi! Itni choti baat ke liye thank you bol rahi ho! Mera farz hai tumhare dil ke har armaan ko pura karna. Maine tumhe bahut baar sunroof ki ore dekhte dekha hai, bas tumhari hichkichat ne tumhe rok kar rakha tha. Par ab, tumhare hichkichat ko samjhne laga hun. Ab tum bach nahi sakti.

Naina giggled and kept resting her head on his shoulder. Sameer kept his head on top of her head, and started driving further.

After having yummy dosas, Samaina ki savari took off for the Nariman Point where they planned to have Natural's ice cream.

Sameer: Toh kounsa flavor lengi aap?

Naina pouted and looked at her husband, before speaking.

Naina: Jo khana hain woh nahi hai yahan! Chocolate chip ice cream khani hai mujhe.

Sameer: Ruko puchta hun, agar andar aur stock hogi toh.

Naina nodded and went with her husband to the cash counter, by holding his hands.

Sameer: Excuse me! Chocolate chip ice cream available hai?

Salesperson: Sorry Sir! Closing time nazdeek aane ke wajah se, display wale flavours hi available hai. Aap unmein se koi flavor choose kar lijiye.

Sameer: Par meri wife ko chocolate chip ice cream hi chahiye.

Salesperson: Sorry Sir.....

Sameer: Koi baat nahi, thank you!

Sameer wounded his arm around her shoulder, and they walked out of the ice cream parlor. Naina tucked her lower lip out and looked her husband with sad eyes.

Naina: Mujhe chocolate chip ice cream khani thi......

Sameer chuckled at his cute demanding wife's face and hugged her. He caressed her hair and tightened his hold.

Sameer: Kuch der pehle tum isliye sunroof par khadi nahi ho rahi thi taki koi tumhe judge na kare, aur ab choti bacchi jaisi udaas hogayi favorite flavour na milne par.

As Naina's face was dug into his torso, her voice came out muffled and induced the cuteness of her voice.

Naina: Aapke saamne bacchi banna toh allowed hai na! Thodi mein car ke upar chadh kar zor zor se chillake maang rahi hun.

Sameer giggled and kissed her head. He held her face in his palms and brought it out of hiding.

Sameer: Aur bas mere saamne hi bacchi banna. Mujhe accha lagta hai tumhari aissi cute zid puri karna.

Naina gave a big smile to him and kissed his cheeks. Sameer chuckled and they crossed the road as a Kwality Wall's ice cream vendor was spotted by them.

Finally Naina got her chocolate chip ice cream, and both of them sat on the stony pavement to enjoy their ice cream.

Naina: Aaj ka din kitna accha raha nahi?

Sameer: Haan, bahut accha gaya. Puja sahi se hogayi, humari drive acchi rahi, aur tumhari chocolate chip ice cream bhi mil gayi. Itne dino baad ek sukoon bhara din.

Naina: Par yeh sukoon shayad kal shor mein badal jaaye......Kal Devang bhaiya aur Pari phir Udaipur jaane ke liye nikalne ki baat chedhenge.

Sameer: Maine aate waqt Bhabhimaa ko Pari aur Devang bhaiya ko dur se dekhte huye dekha tha. Unke aankhon mein ek alag emotion dekha tha maine.

Naina: Notice maine bhi kiya hai. Poonam Bhabhi Pari ko din bhar ghurti rehti hai. Pari ne bhi 2-3 baar aake bola hai ki Poonam Bhabhi usse ghurti rehti hai aur jab Pari smile karti hai toh woh muh pher leti hai.

Sameer: Bola toh mujhe bhi hai usne. Naina, pehle pehle maine socha tha ki Bhabhimaa ko maana lunga. Devang bhaiya ko ab jaane nahi dunga. Par halat dekhkar unka jaana hi thik hoga. Kyunki yahan ruk kar Pari ki mental health par impact padega.

Naina: Hmm...Acha yeh sab abhi ke liye bhool jaate hai. Hum enjoy karne ke liye aaye hai na. Kal ki kal dekhenge.

Sameer smiled at her and nodded his head. Naina rested her head on his shoulder and wounded her right arm around his left arm. After finishing their respective ice creams, they clicked pictures of each other and with each other, then headed back home.

Upon reaching their home, they found Jaiprakash and Vivek sitting in the living room with carrom board in front of them.

Vivek: Aagaye beta! Kaisa raha drive? Khana thik se khake aaye ho na dono? Bhookh hai agar toh bolo, thoda sa khana aur baccha usko kha lena aur main kuch halka sa bana bhi dunga.

Naina: Papaji!

Naina went near her father in law and sat next to him. She held his hand and smiled at him.

Naina: Humne thik se khana kha liya hai aur bhookh bhi nahi lagi.

Sameer: Haan! Aur yeh kya mere bina carrom shuru hogaya aapka?

Naina: Aapko aata hai?

Sameer: Haan. Carrom khelna kisse nahi aata?

Naina pouted and replied: Mujhe

Vivek chuckled and pinched her nose. Naina pouted more and looked at him in disbelief.

Vivek: Maine kaha tha na ki Mumbai jaake tujhe jo sikhna hai main sikha dunga. Toh tu dekh, kaise tujhe raaton raat carrom champion banata hun.

Naina: Sacchi Papaji?

Vivek: Haan meri bacchi!

Jaiprakash: Toh thik hai! Sameer aur main ek team aur tum dono ek team.

Everyone nodded and the game begin. As Naina was a beginner, her strikes were not accurate enough to put the coin inside the corner pockets. But she had Vivek in her team, he aimed for the coins and put them inside.

Luckily Naina was able to put a coin inside a pocket, but in the next second, the striker too well inside, resulting to a foul.

Sameer: Arre! Yeh kya? Tum uss coin apne paas kyun le gayi?

Naina: Andar gaya tha na. Toh yeh mera hua na.

Sameer: Par woh foul tha! Striker agar andar jaaye toh uss coin aur point dono ko lose kar logi.

Naina: Ohh....thik hai.

Vivek: Arre! Naina, uss rehne de beta. Pehli baar hai. Aage se dhyaan rakhna thik hai. Abhi ke liye iss foul ko overlook kar lete hai.

Sameer: Arre! Par rules toh rules hote hai na Papa!

Jaiprakash: Sameer! Pehli baar Naina khel rahi hai na, toh thik hai. Agli baar nahi legi coin. Thik hai beta.

Naina nodded, and kept the coin near the tower of coins Vivek had made.

Sameer: Dadu! Aap meri team ke ho ya unki?

Jaiprakash: Teri obviously!

Sameer: Toh phir aapko mera support karna chahiye na!

Jaiprakash: Arre, jaane de na. Teri biwi hai Naina, pyaar karta hai na usse. Toh ek baar ke liye usko jaane nahi dega?

And Sameer went quiet. He looked at Naina who was looking at him with innocent eyes. He exhaled loudly and started setting the striker for his next shot. Naina giggled and their game continued.

When Sameer came out of the washroom after getting fresh, he saw Naina sitting on the ottoman in front of their bed with a comb in her hand. She gave a big smile to him and turned around after crossing her legs on the ottoman. He chuckled and went near her.

Naina: Thank you! Mujhe carrom mein cheating karke jeetne dene ke liye.

Sameer: Kya tum bhi! Itni si choti baat ke liye thank you bol rahi ho! Biwi ho tum meri, tumhare chehre ke muskaan ke liye aisse hazar game haarne ke liye taiyar hun main.

Naina grinned and continued enjoying his soothing touches on her scalp. Sameer combed her hair after weaving his fingers across them and giving a light scalp massage. After getting it done, Naina walked to the mirror to have a look at what Sameer did with her hair. Though it was a messy braid, but Naina loved it. She smiled widely at her husband's reflection and went to kiss his cheeks.

Naina: Thank you iss cute chotti ke liye.

Sameer pecked her lips and said: You're welcome meri jaan. Ab chalo, so jaate hai. Lamba din tha, aur kal aram se uthenge. Jaldi uthkar tehelne maat nikal jaana.

Naina: Kya aap bhi! Tehelne thodi nikalti hun. Aapke liye hi aapka chia seeds wala lemonade banane jaati hun jo aap gym se aane ke baad peete hai.

Sameer: Kal main gym nahi jaane wala, toh aaram se uthna. Ab aao, chalo so jaate hai.

Sameer pulled Naina with him to the bed. He made her lie down and then lied down on his place. He covered both of them in the duvet and adjusted the temperature of the AC. After his back touched the mattress, Naina scooted closer to him and snuggled up with him. He wrapped his arm around her waist protectively and the other arm was under her neck. He planted a kiss on her forehead and she kissed him near the corner of his lips.

Next morning, when the sunrays seeped through the curtain and fell on his back, Sameer's slumber broke. His back was facing the window, and Naina was well hid by the duvet and her face dug into his chest. He smiled at his sight, he moved little far from to see her. He moved the duvet a bit to reveal her whole face. Due to the pillow underneath her cheeks, her lips were pouted and the baby hair tendrils fell on her forehead. He tucked them behind her ear and lovingly gazed at her beauty. Naina's morning face is the best sight for his eyes. Her eyelashes resting on her cheekbones, lips pouted, and light breathing, the most soothing and calming thing for him. He kissed her forehead and pouted lips and kept looking at her. Feeling her husband's pecks, she tightened her hold on him and dug her face for into his torso.

Fortunately or unfortunately, last night Sameer didn't put a T-shirt over his regular vest. So when Naina dug her face into his torso, her warm breath tingled his sensory cells and he felt his throat drying up and his skin flaring. His racing breath calmed when Naina kissed on his torso, under which his heart reside and rubbed his back.

She slowly opened her eyes and looked into his orbs. She could see a tinge of nervousness and lots of love for her. Naina gave a beautiful smile to him. She held his face in her palm and rubbed his cheeks with her thumb.

Sameer: Good morning jaan

Naina: Good morning......jaan

Jaan!

This one word from her mouth created a havoc in his body. Sameer slipped his palm inside the slit of her kurti, and rested his palm on her bare waist. He traced her curves with his finger and received a gasp from Naina. His other palm reached her nape and his eyes filled with desires. Her eyes showed the same desire and obligation. Upon receiving the green signal from his wife, Sameer leaned and captured her lips with his. He started off the kiss slowly and slowly increased his speed. His hands moving haywire and so were her's. His palms reached her bare back through the slits and were tracing the outlines of her lingerie. And Naina's fingers were inside his hair and around his nape.

With a swift move, Sameer pushed Naina beneath him and continued with the kiss. He had unzipped her kurti from behind, and had slid the kurta a bit from her shoulder. And Naina was successful in inserting her palms inside his vest. When breathlessness hit them, they stopped eating each other. But Sameer wasn't done yet, he gave wet and sloppy kisses on her cheeks, temple, neck, collarbone, and shoulder. He had nuzzled into her neck and was kissing her earlobes and Naina was tugging his hair. Naina felt unbearable sensations inside her and subconsciously grinding to him with the increasing intensity of his kisses.

The grinding resulted in a stiffness in his demeanor as he could feel a certain tightness down South. But he didn't want to break the moment, so he did what he was doing few moments back. And that is kissing the hell out of wife, and letting her know how much he loves her. Naina was equally involved and didn't want this sensual aura to vanish. So she drew patterns on his skin and pressing him towards her.

The temperature of the room was no longer cool, it had turned warm and sweatbuds started making appearance on their foreheads. Finally, after getting content with the physical touches, they stopped and Sameer pulled Naina on top of him. He was weaving his fingers through her hair and Naina was fiddling with his vest. The peaceful silence in the room broke with the ringing of his phone. Sameer was about to bring the phone but Naina was quicker and got it for him and once again layed on top of him.

Sameer chuckled and kissed her head, and turned his phone to find Devang calling him.

Sameer: Hello! Bhaiya?

Devang: Tu aur Naina jitni jaldi ho sake taiyar hoke neeche hall mein aa jao.

And he declined the call. Sameer looked at the phone and his thoughts started running. Naina got confused seeing lines on his forehead and turned his face towards her.

Naina: Kya hua Meer? Kiska call tha?

Sameer: Devang bhaiya ka call tha. Unhone taiyaar hoke neeche bulaaya hai. Kya baat hogi?

Naina: Woh toh neeche jaake pata chalegi na.

Sameer: Hmmm

Naina held his face in her palms and squished his cheeks. She kissed his forehead and looked through his eyes into his inner turmoil.

Naina: Sab thik hoga. Main hun na. Hum mil kar face karenge. Okay?

Sameer nodded and put her head on his chest. Naina patted his shoulder blade and comforted him. When Sameer felt himself gathered up, he carefully sat up and let his wife mould herself according to his position. Naina didn't want to leave him and go, so she settled herself on his lap and had her arms wrapped around him. She was continously rubbing his back to give him the much needed peace.

After a few minutes, Sameer detached himself and went towards the washroom to get ready. In the meantime, Naina took out clothes for them and kept them in the dressing room, folded the duvet, and neated out the bed.

Naina was drying her wet hair with the towel near the window, when Sameer entered the room after checking on Pari. Naina was wearing a pink striped lehariya saree with coral and golden borders. She had put on a complimenting coral and golden thread work blouse with a square neck, which wasn't too deep.

Seeing her bare waist and slightly exposed back, Sameer wanted to go near her and have his way, but Devang's phone call halted his romantic thoughts. He went near Naina and took the towel from her, he made her sit on the nearby stool and dried her hair. Naina smiled and enjoyed the early morning scenes through the window.

Sameer was wearing her selected white buttoned shirt with beige trousers. When he found his wife adoring him, he chuckled and kissed her nose. Naina's cheeks turned pink, and she pushed him away lightly, to go towards the dressing table. She sat in front of it, and started doing her work. She started off with applying her moisturizer followed by a serum, and then put on some light makeup as today was Dussehra, and people can come to visit the Maheshwari's. She had just kohled her eyes and applied a light brown shade of lipstick. Sameer leaned forward to pick the vermillion box, and filled her hairline with a small pinch of vermillion. Like always, Naina gave a big smile and kissed his cheeks. In the jewellery, she picked up a pair of emerald green drop earrings with american diamonds lining, and wore her regular set of bangles and kangans.

As she was about to do her hair, Sameer held her hand and shook his hair.

Sameer: Baal bandho maat. Khule chod do. Acche lagenge.

Naina shyly nodded and just combed her damp hair. After having a final look at her and her dearest husband, she held his hand and gave an encouraging smile.

Sameer: Thank you meri himmat banne ke liye.

Naina: Dhatt! Yeh bhi koi thank you bolne wali cheez hai Meer? Main aapki himmat nahi banungi toh koun banayega? Mathur Uncle ki beti?

Sameer chuckled and pulled her cheeks. She pouted and looked at her husband with accusing eyes.

Sameer: Hum Mathur Uncle aur unki beti ko itna yaad karte hai ki mujhe darr hai ki kahin hichkiyon ne unko pareshaan na kar diya ho.

Naina's laughter broke out and seeing his pretty wife laughing, Sameer to laughed.

Naina: Ab chale?

Sameer hummed and they went out of the room with positive hopes. When they reached down stairs, they found Vivek and Jaiprakash sitting on the couch, and Kamlesh and Prabha were standing near the TV.

Sameer: Bhaiya?

Prabha: Aaya nahi hai ab tak. Tumhe bhi call kiya tha usne?

Sameer: Ji

Each person present in the Maheshwari's living room, was contemplating different things. Some thoughts were positive and some were negative. The positive thoughts brought peace to their soul but the negative thoughts wrenched it. With each passing second, the silence and uncertainty tied knots in their stomach. Naina who could see these changes in the expressions, wanted to do something.

Naina: Amm, main aap sabke liye chai banake aati hun. Kamlesh Uncle, Prabha Aunty, aap dono chai pee lenge? Ya aapke liye green tea laun?

Before anyone can reply, they heard footsteps approaching. They saw Poonam and Devang descending the staircase.

Poonam and Devang stood in the middle of the living room and said: Humne ek faisla liya hai
