Chapter: 33

Naina: Aur kitni der Sameer ji?! Baithe baithe thak gayi hun!

Sameer: Thodi der aur.......Tum batao main kya karun jo tum entertained raho.

Naina: Gaana gaye na. Aap bahut accha gaate hai. Mujhe bahut pasand hai aapki awaaz.

Sameer: Accha! Aur kya pasand hai tumhe mujh mein?

Naina: Sab kuch! Haan ek cheez nahi pasand woh hai aapka mere mamle mein panic kar jaana. Baat itni si hoti hai aur usse itna bada bana dete hai!

Sameer: Naina, tum mere care ko baat ko bada banana nahi keh sakti ho!

He looked at her for a brief second and pointed towards the place where his heart lied before continuing.

Sameer: Tum iss dil ka ek tukda nahi ho, pura ka pura dil ho! Tumhare mamle mein fussy nahi banunga toh kya humare padosi Mathur uncle ki beti ke liye banu?

Naina: Thik hai! Aap karo fuss. Main kuch nahi bolungi! Phir aapko bhi mere instruction follow karne padenge. Main bhi nahi chodne wali aapko!

Sameer: Main toh chahta hun ki koi mujhe instructions de. Toke mujhe kuch cheezein karne se. Pyaar wali dant de. Meri bewakoofi par mujhe samjhaye. Main agar naraz ho jaun toh manaaye. Taras gaya hun inn sab ehsaason ke liye.

Naina smiled and rubbed his cheek with her thumb and replied: Main aagayi hun na! Aapko kisi bhi cheez ke liye taras na nahi padega. Main aapki saari adhuri khwaahishein puri karungi. Waada!

Sameer looked at Naina for sometime, and gave her a smile before looking at front and resuming the drive.

He cleared his throat and started singing.

O karam khudaya hai
Tujhe mujhse milaya hai
Tujhpe marke hi toh
Mujhe jeena aaya hai.

O tere sang yaara...
Khush rang bahara
Tu raat deewani
Main zard sitaara

O tere sang yaara
Khush rang bahara
Main tera ho jaaun
Jo tu karde ishara

Kahin kisi bhi gali mein jaaun main
Teri khushboo se takraaun main
Har raat jo aata hai mujhe
Woh khwaab tu...

Tera mera milna dastoor hai
Tere hone se mujhme noor hai
Main hoon soona sa ek aasmaan
Mehtaab tu...

O karam Khudaya hai
Tujhe maine jo paaya hai
Tujhpe marke hi toh
Mujhe jeena aaya hai

O tere sang yara
Khushrang bahara
Tu raat deewani
Main zard sitaara.

O tere sang yara
Khushrang bahara
Tere bin ab toh
Na jeena ganwara.

Maine chhode hain baaki saare raste
Bas aaya hoon tere paas re
Meri aankhon mein tera naam hai
Pehchaan le...

Sab kuch mere liye tere baad hai
Sau baaton ki ik baat hai
Main na jaunga kabhi tujhe chhod ke
Ye jaan le

O karam Khudaya hai
Tera pyar jo paaya hai
Tujhpe marke hi toh
Mujhe jeena aaya hai.

O tere sang yaara
Khush rang bahara
Tu raat deewani
Main zard sitaara.

O tere sang yaara
Khush rang bahara
Main behta musafir
Tu thehra kinara.

Their drive to Udaipur got complete with Sameer's melodious voice. By the time, they entered the main market of Udaipur, Naina had dozed off once again.

Sameer: Lo! Bolti hai ki mera gaana accha lagta hai. Aur dusri taraf mere gaane sunke so gayi. Khair, thak gayi hogi. Sone deta hun. Din bhar ghumna bhi hai.

He was driving through the beautiful streets of the beautiful town. He was following the instructions of the GMap voice assistant and had just entered into a colony of bungalows when the car abruptly stopped.

Sameer: Yeh kya hogaya!?

Sameer ensured that Naina's seat belt was tight and the pillow was at the right place, and stepped down. He checked the tyres, and found them fine. He opened the bonnet and tried to find fault in engine but couldn't point finger on what was wrong. He decided to call Jaydev Ji when he heard car horn.

He turned around and saw a white sedan behind his car, and a man was peeking out of the window of the driver's side. Sameer ran to him.

Man: Bhaisahab, car aisse kaise aap kisi ke ghar ke saamne park kar sakte hai. Please hatiye.

Sameer: I am sorry. Actually meri car kharab hogayi hai. Tyres puncture nahi huyi hai. Engine mein shayad kuch gadbad hai.

Man: Ohho......Apne mechanic ko bula lijiye na.

Sameer: Main yahan ka nahi hun. Main aur meri wife yahan Mumbai se aaye hai. Hotel ki car hai jo Jaipur se drive karke laaye hai. Kya aap mujhe mechanic kahan milega bata sakte hai?

Man: Haan ek sec.

The man turned to another guy sitting at the backseat and started instructing him few things. Meanwhile, Sameer passed a smile to the woman sitting next to the driver's seat man. She too smiled back at him.

Man: Jab tak mechanic aa nahi jaata, main aur aap milke gaadi ko dhakka laga dete hai. Ghar actually mera hai. Aur meri wife thak gayi hai.

Sameer: Sure. Aap ek minute rukiye. Meri wife car mein so rahi hai. Main unhe jaga deta hun.

Sameer ran towards his car, and woke Naina. She wasn't sleeping too deeply so she woke up quickly.

Sameer: Naina, thodi der ke liye car se utro. Gaadi kharab hogayi hai. Aur jinke ghar ke saamne ruke hai, woh help karenge dhakka lagane mein.

Naina: Kya hogaya car ko!?

Sameer: Pata nahi. Engine mein problem hai. Tyres thik hai. Tum utro. Woh log intezaar kar rahe hai.

Naina nodded her head and stepped out of the car. Sameer had already searched a place for her to sit, and made her sit there.

Sameer and those two men were able to push the car a little forward. When done, Sameer was thanking them when the three of them heard a loud squeal.

They turned around to see the lady of the other car running towards Naina, with an excited face. And Naina's face reflected that excitement.

Naina/Women: Akshu! /Nainu!

Sameer and the lady's husband looked each other in confusion as they saw their wife talking to each other non stop. And sharing a tight hug.

Sameer walked towards Naina and softly called her name. Naina looked at him and gave him a wide smile.

Naina: Sameer Ji! Aayiye main aapko kisi khas se milwati hun.
(Pointing towards the lady) Yeh meri school best friend hai, Akshu! Pura naam Akshara Goenka hai. Maine bataya tha iske baare mein.....

(Towards Akshu) Aur Akshu, yeh hai mere husband. Sameer Ji. Sameer Maheshwari.

Sameer looked at Akshara and smiled at her. He folded his hands and greeted her with a Namaste. And Akshara replicated it.

Akshara: Bahut khushi huyi aapse milkar. Maine suna tha ki Naina ki shaadi ho rahi hai. Par aa nahi payi aapki shaadi mein. Actually Mimi yaani meri badi dadi ki tabiyat kharab ho gayi thi. Aur upar se main aur mere husband shift karne wale hai toh usmein phas gaye the. Iske liye hum aa nahi paaye, I am sorry.

Sameer: Koi baat nahi Mrs. Goenka. I understand. Aap finally apni best friend se mil rahi hai. That's what matters. Aur maine aapke baare mein bahut kuch suna hai.

Akshara: Mrs. Goenka nahi, Mrs. Birla. Aur aap mujhe Akshara bula sakte hai.

Sameer: Toh aapko bhi mujhe Sameer bulana hoga, aapki best friend ki tarah Sameer Ji nahi.

Naina glared at Sameer and Akshara giggled, before she could reply, her husband jumped in, and stood next to her and started blabbering.

Man: Hello Ji! Kaisi hai aap? Ghar par sab thik hai na? Aapki saas apko tang toh nahi kar rahi na? Aur sasur baar baar chai toh nahi banawate na. Aapke husband aapko pyaar se rakh rahe hai na?

Akshara shook her head in disbelief and looked at confused Samaina, and explained.

Akshara: Yeh mere husband ka style hai attention grab karne ka. I am sorry.....

Sameer: Sorry kis baat ka!? Mujhe yeh tarika bahut accha laga. Please mujhe bhi sikha dijiyega.......Woh kya hai na, meri wife mein kabhi kabhi kho jaati hai. Toh attention seeking ke liye.....

The man smiled at him and forwarded his palm for handshake.

Man: Abhimanyu urf Abhi. Dr. Abhimanyu Birla. Inka husband. Aur woh hai mera bhai, Neil Birla. Aap mujhe Abhi bula sakte hai.

Sameer shook his hand and replied: Sameer! Sameer Maheshwari, aapki wife ki best friend ka husband.

Abhimanyu looked at Naina and greeted her with a Namaste.

Naina: Namaste.

Akshara: Ek dum sahi time pe aagayi tu. Mujhe laga tu naraz hogi teri shaadi mein nahi aayi thi isliye aur tu nahi aayegi.

Naina: Huh? Matlab?

Akshara: Matlab kya?

Naina: Main kuch samjhi nahi! Main aur Sameer Ji yahan ghumne aane wale hai, tujhe kaise pata tha? Papa ne bataya?

Abhimanyu: Ghumne? Aap toh Kairav ki shaadi attend karne aaye hai na? Akshu ne aapke yahan shaadi ka card bheja tha.

Samaina: Shaadi ka card?

Naina: Mere paas koi card nahi aaya hai Akshu! Konse address pe bheji thi?

Akshara: Tere ghar par. I mean Andheri mein bheji thi. Tere sasural ka address nahi maloom tha.

Sameer: Shayad shaadi ki bhagdaud mein kisi ne card par nazar nahi di. Isliye.

Abhimanyu: Khair, jo hua so hua. Ab aap log yahan aagaye hai. So masti double hogi. Jabse Akshu ne Naina Ji ko card bheja hai tabse bawali hogayi hai. Din bhar inki baatein karti rehti hai.

Naina: Please mujhe sirf Naina bulayiye. Naina ji nahi. Aur Kairav bhaiya ki shaadi hai, toh dhamaal masti toh hogi hi. Par hum..... Hum saath mein shaadi layak kapde nahi laaye hai. Aur Kairav bhaiya shaadi kar rahe hai, pata nahi tha. Toh ghar par humne parso wapasi ka bola hai.

Abhimanyu: Toh kya hogaya? Shopping kar lenge. Waise bhi saare functions kal se shuru honge. Toh aaj time hai shopping ka.

Akshara: Exactly! Aur tab nahi bataya toh ab bata dijiye. Ticket cancellation ka extra charge nahi girega. Please Sameer, Nainu......Shaadi mein part lijiye na.

Naina: Sameer ji......

Sameer smiled at her and cupped her cheek in his palm, and replied: Main Dadu aur Papaji se baat karke aata hun.

Naina nodded her head slowly and waited for him to complete his conversations. She was very excited to attend Kairav's wedding and that too along with Sameer. After few minutes, Sameer came to her with a smile on his face and revealed that Dadu has agreed and Papaji was about to call her to inform about the card.

Akshara: Badhiya! Ab aap log chaliye humare saath andar.

Sameer: Andar...... Nahi nahi Akshara Abhimanyu, hum hotel mein reh lenge. Aap dono kyun taklif uthayenge.

Abhimanyu: Taklif kaisi? Akshu aur Naina kitne dino baad mil rahe hai, aur shaadi wala mahaul hai. Aisse kaise aapko hotel mein rehne de de.

Akshara: Abhi bilkul sahi keh raha hai. Aur waise bhi Naina ko Kairav bhaiya choti behen mante hai. Goenka Villa mein agar ek room khali hota toh wahan aap dono ko rukwa dete par koi nahi. Aap log humare saath humare ghar aa jayiye.

Naina: Par Akshu..... Tere sasuraal mein....

Abhimanyu: Koi kuch nahi kahega. Aap tension free rahiye. Neil! Andar se staff mein se kisi ko bula la. Samaan andar rakhwana hai.
Aur Sameer, aap tension maat lijiye. Gaadi main thik karwa dunga.

Naina looked at Sameer in apprehension, and he nodded his head in acceptance. Sameer didn't miss the shine in Naina's eyes the moment Akshara ran to her, and pulled her into a tight hug. So, he immediately cancelled the hotel booking, and followed the Birlas along with his beautiful wife.

The Birla house was a three floored bungalow, with a small garden at the opposite side of the main door. The main door was a huge metallic opaque door. And the walls had few antique wall hangings.

Abhimanyu: Darwaza bandh kyun hai? Abhi staff samaan andar leke ja raha tha na. Toh khula rehna chahiye na.

Just after Abhimanyu finished speaking, the door opened and a middle aged lady with a calming smile, clad up in a simple yellow and green saree stood in front of them with aarti ki thaal.

Neil: Maa! Mujhe laga hi tha aapne darwaza bandh karawaya hoga. Aarti ke liye.

That's when Samaina got to know that she was Abhimanyu and Neil's mom and Akshara's mother in law. Samaina touched her feet and took her blessings.

Abhimanyu's mom: Hmmm! Meri Akshu ki dost pehli baar aa rahi hai uske ghar, aarti toh utarni hi hai. Nahi toh kya kahenge uske dost, Akshu ki saas woh TV serial wali saas ki tarah hai.

Everyone giggled and Abhimanyu and Neil's mom lovingly did Samaina's aarti.
After the aarti was done, Mrs. Birla guided them inside the home. From the main door, one directly enters the hall which is huge, with a antique sofa set in the middle and a fireplace with a brown long single seater sofa and a low height coffee table in front of it. And to the right of the main sofa set was a stairs to rooms at the first floor. Behind the sofa set, there was an open space which lead to a mini fountain and there was dining area there maybe.

Naina: Aunty aapka ghar bahut sundar hai ❤

Mrs. Birla: Thank you beta. Baitho na tum dono. Main tum dono ke liye kuch laati hun khane peene ke liye.

Sameer: Aunty aap zyada stress maat lijiye. Humne raste mein heavy breakfast kar liya tha. Toh aap aayiye aur humare saath baithiye.

Mrs. Birla: Nahi nahi beta. Kuch toh laana hoga na. Sharbat laati hun.

Akshara: Sameer aap jitna bhi keh lijiye. Maa peeche nahi haatne wali. Woh sab ko khilaye pilaye bina chain se nahi baith sakti.
Saari maa aissi hi hoti hai. Aapki bhi toh aissi hi hongi.

Sameer's face got dull and it hit him hard that he is a motherless child from the past 18 years. Even though he had Poonam and Bua dadi in his life who were mother figure for him, but they were mother figure and not mother. There's a difference between the two.

Before Sameer could reply, two middle aged men and women along with another young couple entered the hall.

Man 1: Manjiri! Manjiri!

Mrs. Birla came running in the hall and with quivering lips and shaking hands she looked at the man, whereas Abhimanyu glared at the man. That's when Samaina got to know that Mrs. Birla's name is Manjiri.

Man 1: Ghar mein humare jaane bagair log aa jaate hai aur tum hume batana zaroori nahi samjhti!

Manjiri: Ji, woh.....yeh Naina aur Sameer hai. Naina Akshu ki bachpan ki dost hai aur Sameer uska pati hai. Kairav ki shaadi ke liye aaye hai.

(To Samaina) Beta, yeh Abhi aur Neil ke papa hai, Dr. Harshvardhan Birla.

Abhimanyu: Yeh mere Tauji Dr. Anand Birla aur yeh meri Taiji cum Masi hai, Dr. Mahima Birla. Yeh inke bete Dr. Parth Birla aur inki wife Shefali Birla.

Samaina greeted everyone with a smile and sat on the sofa when Anand asked them to.

Anand: Toh beta aap dono kya karte ho?

Sameer: Uncle main businessman hun. Aur Naina kuch hi mahino mein apna MBA commence karegi. Uske baad mere saath business mein involve hone ka plan hai uska.

Anand: Oh that's really nice! Waise kya business hai aapka?

Sameer: Textile aur jewelery ka. Maheshwari Industries. Ammm, apne shayad naam suna hoga.

Harshvardhan: Maheshwari Industries.....Jaiprakash ji ka......

Naina smiled and replied: Ji uncle! Jaiprakash Ji humare dadaji hai.

Harshvardhan: Ohh! Arre bade dino se tammana thi unse ya tumse ya tumhare Papa se milne ki beta. See what a coincidence! Accha hua tum yahin mil gaye.

Sameer looked at Naina in bewilderment, when Harshvardhan had reacted seeing them, both Sameer and Naina had understood that he wasn't happy with them being there. And now the sudden change in his demeanor, was understood by Sameer and Harshvardhan definitely wants something from him.

Abhimanyu and other Birlas too understood what Harshvardhan would be implying and where about to interrupt when Sameer spoke.

Sameer: Uncle, if you don't mind. Agar aapki humse milne ki wajah agar work related hai, toh please aaj nahi baat karte. Hum baad mein formally meeting karke baat karenge. Actually main aur meri wife yahan shaadi aur humari holidays enjoy karne aaye hai.
Humare yahan rule hai, no work during family time. So..... I'm sorry if I sounded rude.

Sameer's reply bluntly pricked Harshvardhan, but as he wanted to have good business relationship with Maheshwari family, so he had to gulp down his anger and smile at Sameer.

Anand: Maine toh suna tha ki tum bachelor rehna chahte the humesha. Shaadi kab hogayi?

Sameer chuckled and replied: Jabse maine Naina ko dekha hai, bachelor rehne ka mann nahi hua aur. Uss din se bas sehra, ghodi, mandap aur Naina dikhne lagi mujhe 😅
Aur shaadi ko bas ek hi hafta hua hai.

Parth: Love marriage?

Naina: Ji, love cum arranged marriage.

Sameer looked at her and smiled.

Mahima: Ghar par koun koun hai?

Sameer: Humari Maheshwari family mein jaisa ki aap janti hongi, Dadu hai, Papa hai, Bua dadi hai aur......Papa ki dusri wife aur unke bhaiya bhabhi hai, aur unki bahu hai.
Aur Agrawal family yaani Naina ke mayke mein Papaji hai, Tauji Taiji, Chacha ji Chachiji, Naina ke tauji ke bete aur bahu aur Chacha ji ki beti hai.

Shefali: I really liked the way aapne meri family aur Naina ki family kehna avoid kiya aur humari families kaha.

Neil: Exactly! Main pehli baar kisi husband se aissa sun raha hun.

Sameer: Woh kehte hai na ki 'shaadi do logon ke beech nahi, do parivaaron ke beech hota hai' aur shaadi ke baad ladki se expect kiya jaata hai na ki woh apne husband ke family ko bhi apnaye. Aissa ladke se kyun nahi kaha jaata? Infact ladke ke liye uski wife ki family sabse zyada azeez honi chahiye kyunki woh apne ghar ki beti de rahe hai usse.
Toh bas. Jaise maine Naina ki zindagi mein apne saath mere ghar aur gharwalon ko laaya waise hi usne meri zindagi khudke saath apne ghar aur gharwale laaye hai. Aur hum sab ek bada parivaar hai.

Akshara: Kitni acchi baatein karte hai aap! Naina! Kitni lucky hai tu jo itna understanding aur samajhdaar husband mila hai tujhe.

Abhimanyu: Toh kya main accha aur samajhdaar nahi hun?

Akshara: Tum bhi ho Abhi. Main bas Naina ko compliment de rahi thi ki uski choice kitni acchi.

Naina: Haan, aur aap bhi bahut acche hai. Akshu aapke saath bahut khush hai yeh baat uske chehre ki chamak se pata chal rahi hai.

Manjiri: Naina! Sameer! Beta tum dono thak gaye hoge. Aaram karlo jaake.

Sameer: Aunty ji, aaram kaise karun? Shaadi wala ghar hai aur Naina ne bataya tha ki Akshara ki family usse apni beti maante hai toh mera bhi unki taraf kuch farz hai. So, main woh saare farz nibhaunga. Toh no aaram!

Naina slowly whispered in his ears: Par aap itni dur aur itni der drive karke aaye hai. Aaram jaroori hai.

Sameer: Naina, shaadi wala ghar hai. Aaram waise hi nahi kar paate gharwale. So chill. Aur meri thakaan tumhari smile se dur hoti hai. Toh bas muskurati raho. Mere aaram ke liye utna kaafi hai.

Naina shook her head in disbelief, and didn't argue any further as she knew her husband is damn persistent. And won't budge.

Naina: Akshu, aaj ke saare rasm khatam hogaye? Ya kuch baaki hai?

Akshu: Aaj koi rasm nahi tha. Kal roka aur ganesh puja hai. Parso jamai pujan aur sagaai hai. Uske baad mehendi aur sangeet. Aur phir haldi aur shaadi.

Abhimanyu: Aap dono fresh ho jayiye. Lunch ke baad chalenge aapke kapde laane.

Samaina: Thik hai.

Sameer and Naina were in one of the guest rooms of Birla house. Naina had changed herself to a simple off white saree with golden small stone all over with blood red sleeveless blouse. She was sitting in front of the dressing mirror and was applying moisturizer on her face when Sameer came out of the washroom with his trousers and had a towel around his neck, which was somewhere not successful in obstructing the view of his bare torso. His semi-naked form made Naina gulp her saliva and had flustered her.

Sameer: Naina! Tumne meri yellow shirt dekhi hai?

Naina was not in a zone of replying. All she could think and see was Sameer's chiseled abs and muscular arms. She knew he hits the gym on every alternate day. So it's pretty obvious that he would be having great physique. But this great! It just blew her mind.

Naina (in her mind): Sameer Ji..... Itne.... Hot hai...... Naina! Tu itne hot aadmi ko dhokha dena ka soch rahi thi! Chi! Accha hua sahi time pe inhone teri akal thikane par laga di.
Sameer Ji ek ideal husband hai. Acche dikhte hai, tujhse itna pyaar karte hai, itna khayal rakhte hai, tere parivaar ko apna mante hai, aur tujhse jude saari baaton ko apna lete hai. Aur toh aur! Tere favourite hero Hrithik Roshan ki tarah body bhi hai!

She was busy in her lala land when Sameer shook her shoulder and brought her back to reality.

Sameer: Kahan khoyi ho? Kabse awaaz laga raha hun. Jawab hi nahi de rahi ho. Kis baare mein itni gehrayi se soch rahi thi?

Naina: Woh....aapke baare mein..... Mera matlab hai aapki body..... Nahi mera matlab hai ki aapke abs..... Nahi main yeh keh rahi thi ki..... Ammmm..... Aap kya keh rahe the?

Naina mentally slapped herself for fumbling and giving incomplete yet complete answer to him. Firstly Sameer was confused as to what she is speaking but then he connected the dots and a smirk appeared.

Sameer: Meri chodo. Tum kya bol rahi thi uspe concentrate karte hai. Kya keh rahi thi? Meri body, mere abs..... Hmm toh meri bholi Naina ke mann mein waise wale khayaal aane lage hai.

Naina's lips quivered and her heart started thumping loudly as Sameer had caught her. She was too shy to be up front and boldly accept that she was gawking at him.

Naina: Kai... Kaise wale khayaal?

Sameer: Waise wale khayaal, jo soch ke gaal laal aur dil ki dhadkan tez ho jaate hai. Jaisa haal tumhara hai abhi.
Naina! Abhi tak tumne mujhe I love you kaha bhi nahi aur aisse khayal aa rahe hai tumhe. I love you bol dogi toh kaise khayal aayenge?

Naina's eyes widened in realisation and she looked away. She found the monochromatic floor tile interesting, and continued staring it till her heartbeat could be normal and her breathing was slow. But before anything like that could happen, Sameer pulled her closer. His warm palm rested on her bare waist, and thanks to the thin material of the saree, the heat emitting from his bare and freshly showered skin transmitted to her and her heart rate quickened. Her throat went dry and her cheeks turned beetroot red.

He curled his finger under her chin, and lifted her face a bit. Her eyes were still downcast and her lips parted a little. She was mentally getting ready to give in to her husband's desire. Not because it was her husband's desire, because she too wanted to have the experience of the intense love of her husband. He eyed her face which was flustered and had pink tint all over, he could feel the rapid thumping of her heart and heavy breathes.

It was first time that he was looking at her from so less distance. Her skin was polished and without any make-up, it looked glowing and flawless. Her perfectly threaded eyebrows, with the a sharp edge gave a volume to her eyes and made them more beautiful. She had a small and less prominent mole under her left eyebrow which he hadn't seen yet.She didn't have the typical long lashes, her lashes were neither long nor short, they were perfect and under them hid her expressive doe shaped eyes, which had the power to make him knee in front of her and had captivated him. Her button nose looked more cute from closer view and he couldn't control himself and planted a soft kiss on it. And she drew a sharp breath, which made him chuckle internally. Her cheek were more pink now, and maybe it was the most darkest shade of pink which was possible to make appearance on human skin. And then comes her luscious plump lips, which he dreamt of feeling since two years.

Sameer huskily whispered: Naina, jaan! Meri ore dekho.

Naina was not confident enough to meet her eyes to him, as she was excited as well as nervous about what she would find in his dark orbs. Gaining some courage, she lifted her eyes and looked at him. And she saw love and a pool of desire in them. Sameer inched forward finding the same emotions in her eyes as his, and Naina could anticipate what is going to happen.

But before any of those things could happen, a loud knock disturbed them. And when they turned to the side, they found Abhimanyu and Akshara standing on the threshold with their palms on the other person's eyes. Sameer stepped away from Naina and grabbed the first shirt he could find in his bag, and pulled it on his body.

Akshara: Humne kuch dekha nahi hai.

Abhimanyu: Par koi aur dekh sakta tha. So next time romance se pehle door lock kar dijiyega.

Akshara: Aur jaldi neeche aa jayega. Lunch ready hai.

Naina: Aa.... Aap..... Aap dono andar aa jayiye. Bahar k...ky...kyun khade hai.

Abhimanyu: Nahi nahi. Bas neeche bulane aaye the.

Abhira ran away, and Samaina bursted laughing seeing them embarrassed and ran away. But when the cause of their embarrassment hit them, their cheeks turned pink and they couldn't say or look anything.

Sameer decided to break the awkwardness, so he cleared his throat and went to spray his perfume. He stood in front of the mirror and completed his business. Seeing him doing his work, Naina tok sat on the stool infront of the dresser table and wore jhumkas and slipped some red glass bangles which Sameer had got from Bapu bazaar for her.

Sameer: Tumhara hogaya hai na? Toh chale?

Naina: Haan, bas ek cheez reh gayi hai.

Naina picked up the vermillion box and forwarded it infront of Sameer. He took a pinch and filled her hairline. He could see that Naina was still a bit blushing. And flustered. So he hugged her softly, and whispered calming words along with a I Love You.

Naina smiled and dug her face on his chest. And replied back with a I Like You too. Sameer chuckled and kept his chin on top of her head and weaved his fingers through her hair.

They stood like that for sometime and after giving normal and calming smile to each other, they left for lunch with Birla family.
