Chapter: 18
Decorated with strings of fairy lights of golden and white light, along the branches and trunk of the trees, and green carpet of grass was sprinkled with golden foil streamer, the lawn of the haveli looked different tonight. A hammock was hung with the support of two adjoining decorated tree, and a small screen was hung down as a background with various pictures of Swati and Munna from their school till the present time. Near the base of each tree, two pink foil balloon was tucked with Happy Anniversary written on it.
At the center a medium sized metal round table was placed, which was for the dinner purpose for the five couples. And on the left, a small stage was set up in case someone wants to say or do something.
Naina: Sameer Ji, kitna sundar sajaya hai na. Aissa lag hi nahi raha ki, yeh wohi lawn hai jahan apne kal subah mujhe itna accha surprise diya tha.
Sameer smiled seeing her excitement, and nodded his head in agreement.
Sameer: Jab aap kisi se bahut zyada pyaar karte ho na, toh usse best dene ki chaah mein koi kasar nahi chodte. Aur natize mein aisse sundar result aa jaate hai.
"Bilkul sahi kaha tune, Sameer''
Samaina turned around and found Ruhaan standing there along with Purvi, with a evil smile on his face. He was wearing black shirt and beige trousers with a beige blazer. While Purvi was giving her beautiful smile and looked pretty in the peach pink silk saree.
Ruhaan: Pyaar mein woh kashish hai jo kisiko bhi majboor kar deta hai, apni limits push karne ke liye. Ab mujhe hi dekh lijiye. Jab pehli baar maine Purvi ko dekha tha, toh ussi din mere dil ne mujhe keh diya tha ki yeh hi hai, jo mere berang zindagi mein saare rang bhar degi aur mere saath saath Rohan ko bhi sambhalegi. Toh bas, main iske peeche peeche ghumna shuru kardiya aur aaj yeh meri wife hai.
Ruhaan's words had colored Purvi's face, and she was blushing like a new bride. She looked at Ruhaan with pride and wrapped her arms around him.
Purvi: Aap hai hi itne acche, main aapse bina pyaar kiye reh nahi payi. Aur jhat se aapke saath chali aayi.
Sameer was happy seeing Purvi's love for Ruhaan but the conversation he had with Ruhaan few hours ago, played in his mind and he felt pity on her, as she was thinking that her husband loves her. Whereas Naina started wondering that if someday, she would be able to fall in love with Sameer or not. She would be able to reciprocate the same feeling, care and emotions like him, or he has to stay unloved and have these emotions missing from his life forever.
Ruhaan: Chaliye, chalke baithte hai. Baakiyon ke aane tak, hum charon baatein kar lete hai.
Ruhaan and Purvi sat down, and found Samaina still standing in their places.
Purvi: Naina ji! Sameer ji! Aayiye na....
Sameer looked at her, and signalled her to move first, and he is behind her. Sameer pulled a chair for her, and kept the pallu lying on the floor on her lap, to save it from getting dirty. And sat next to her, holding her hand softly as he knew she would be feeling quite uncomfortable around Ruhaan. She looked at their hands, and smiled warmly at him.
Purvi: Waise ek baat kahun.....aap dono ko dekhke lagta nahi hai ki aap dono ki arranged marriage hai. I mean, bahut comfortable hai aap dono ek dusre ke saath.
Naina: Woh isliye, kyunki Sameer Ji bahut understanding aur caring hai. Jabse humari shaadi tay huyi hai, tabse se humesha woh mere saath acche se pesh aaye hai. Kabhi bhi jabardasti nahi ki aur na hi apni marzi thopi hai mujhpar. Bahut baar mere bin bole, inhone mere liye bahut kuch kiya hai, aur meri ankahi baaton ko samjha hai. Toh unke saath comfortable hona mere liye asaan hogaya.
All the while Naina was expressing herself, her eyes were on Sameer, and his eyes were on her. Both of them were looking lovingly at each other, and hearing his praises from her, Sameer wanted to hug her tightly and never let her go out of his embrace.
Purvi: Yeh bahut acchi baat hai ki aap dono ke beech itni understanding hai. Maine bahut si meri friends ke fiancee aur husband ko dekha jo apne haq ka galat fayeda uthate hai....Sach kahun toh Ruhaan se milne se pehle mujhe lagta tha ki saare mard ek jaise hote. Par inhone meri rai badal di.
Purvi looked at Ruhaan lovingly and kept her head on his shoulder, while he caressed her hair and rubbed the back of her palm with his thumb which was held by his other hand. Even though Sameer knew that Ruhaan doesn't love Purvi but seeing her love towards him, he prayed that God bless Ruhaan with brain and make him value his wife.
Sameer: Waise aap dono mile kahan pe?! Aur aap dono ki bhi arranged marriage hai?
Ruhaan: Nahi nahi! Hum dono ki love marriage hai. Aur inhe dekhiye....Inko dekhke lagta hai ki koi inse bina mohabbat kiye reh sakta hai?!
Purvi's cheeks coloured and she said: Kya aap bhi Ruhaan! Kahin pe bhi....
Naina: Kal aapne kaha tha ki aapki shaadi ko 9 saal hogaye hai. Lekin aap dono Sameer Ji ke age ke aas paas honge na toh....
Purvi: Humne college ke first year mein hi shaadi kar li thi. Rohan tabhi bada ho raha tha, aur uss age mein usse Maa Baap dono chahiye hote.
Maine kaha tha ki, hum dono Rohan ki zimmedari sambhal lenge par isne kaha ki nahi. Usse Rohan ko sambhalna hai, waise hi jaise ek Maa sambhalti hai uske bacche ko. Aur inn dono ko behtar future dene ke liye, maine jald hi apna business set up kar diya.
Purvi: Meri bahut si friends ne mujhe kaha ki Rohan mere beta nahi, mere husband ka bhai hai. Usse itna zyada pyaar dena sahi nahi hai. Uske liye woh sab karna jo apne bacche ke liye karna hota hai, woh sahi nahi hai. Par mujhe uss waqt sirf 12 saal ka Rohan dikha aur kuch nahi.
Sameer: Aapki tarah meri Bhabhi Maa ne bhi mujhe bahut pyaar diya hai. Woh bhi bilkul mujhe apne bacche jaisa treat karti aayi hai pichle 10 saalon se.
Purvi: Ruhaan ne bataya tha mujhe aapki bhabhi ke baare mein.
Ruhaan: Naina ji, aapki mother ki death kaise huyi....
Naina's eyes moistened remembering that day when she had witnessed the gloomy environment of her laughing household. Sameer could sense her turmoil and before she could reply, he replied.
Sameer: Mummyji ko cancer tha. Last stage....aur 10 saal pehle, woh guzar gayi.
Naina didn't want to lose her sanity infront of Ruhaan and Purvi , so excusing herself from them, she went inside to her room. Sameer could feel that she isn't in the right condition and needs him, so he too left with the context of calling home as he didn't call yesterday and his grandfather had put a message to call today.
When Sameer entered into their room, he found Naina sitting on the couch set with her head resting on top of the backrest and she was looking at ceiling with emotionless eyes. Her face was pale and he could see her cheeks and nose were pinkish which indicates that she has been crying. This wrenched his heart, and he was walked slowly towards her.
Keeping his hand on her shoulder, he slowly called her name. Naina looked at him with teary eyes and the next moment, her head was crashed into his muscular abdomen and her arms were wrapped around his waist. In the moment, the fact that she was pulling him closer to her wasn't important for him, but she was in pain was what he saw at the moment. He caressed her hair with one palm and with the other, he was rubbing her back to calm her down.
Sameer: Naina.... Ssshh ssshh! Shant ho jao. Naina....Shant ho jao.
Naina: Sa....sam.... sameer.....Sameer ji....ai...ais...aisse kai.... kaise sh....shan....shant ho...ho....ja...jaun.
Sameer loosened her grip around him a little and sat next to her, with her arms around him and her head on his chest. He kept his chin on top of her head and weaved his fingers through her hair.
Sameer: Janta hun ki kitna muskil hota hai apni Maa ke baare mein baat karna. Par Naina...Aisse har time agar hum unhe ansuon ke saath yaad karenge toh unhe bahut taklif hogi na. Kya Mummyji ko sukoon milta hoga apni beti ko rote dekh? Nahi na....Aur Naina, Mummyji yahan se isliye upar tumhare Bhagwan ji ke wapas gayi thi na, kyunki unhe yahan apni sehat ke wajah se bahut zyada taklif hoti thi. Wahan sukoon paane gayi hai, par unhe yaad karke rone se unhe pehle zyada dard ho raha hoga na....
Naina: Janti hun par....Mujhe unki bahut yaad aati hai.
Sameer: Haan bilkul sahi kaha tumne! Par aissa kisne kaha ki tum apni Maa se baat nahi kar sakti.
Naina wiped her tears and came out of his embrace, she looked at him with expectant yet confused gaze.
Naina: Matlab?!
Sameer wiped the teardrops resting on her chubby cheeks with his thumb and the smudged kajal. He gave her a warm smile and replied to her question.
Sameer: Matlab yeh ki....Maa humesha apne bacchon ke saath aur paas hoti hai. Bas unhe bulao aur woh aa jayengi. Maine aissa pichle 18 saalon se kiya hai. Jab bhi mujhe meri Mumma ki yaad aati. Main aankhein band kar, unhe dil se pukarta. Aur woh aa jati thi. Mere mann mein jo bhi baatein hoti thi, main unse sab bolta, jo bhi sawal hote ya uljhane hoti. Sab kuch share karta aur woh saare jawab deti.
Naina: Kya meri Maa bhi aayengi?!
Sameer chuckled at her excited and innocent question. He kissed her forehead and cheeks, and nodded his head in yes.
Naina: Par mujhe pehle kisi ne bataya nahi iske baare mein....
Naina pouted in annoyance, and Sameer found it cute and held her face in his palms, and joined their foreheads.
Sameer: Kyunki pehle tum mujhse mili nahi na! Isliye, tumhe kisine nahi bataya. Lekin ab tumhe bata hai par iska matlab yeh nahi ki tum apni saari secrets sirf unse share karo, aur mujhse kuch share nahi karogi.
Naina giggled and shook her head like a good girl obeying to all the rules. Sameer kissed her forehead once again, and gave her a glass of water to cool her down. When she was drinking water, he wiped the smudged kajal and patted her cheeks dry with his handkerchief.
Sameer: Tum jaldi se apna make-up thik kar lo. Isse pehle ki Munna aur Swati bhabhi hume dhundhne ke liye yahan aa jaaye, hum bahar jaana hoga.
Sameer was about to get up from the sofa, when Naina held his hand and said: Thank you so much Sameer ji. Mujhe sambhalne ke liye. Aaj aapne jo kiya usse, mere dil mein aapke liye izzat badh gayi.
Sameer smiled at her and patted her head. He was about to say something, when his phone rang.
Sameer: Tum taiyar ho jao. Mujhe ek important call aa raha hai.
Sameer: Hello Mr. Batra. How are you?
Mr. Batra: I am good. And congratulations on your wedding, Sameer. Hope you have a great married life with your beautiful wife.
Sameer: Thank you Mr. Batra. Waise, aapne mujhe call kyun kiya? I mean, maine aapko koi legal consultancy ke liye approach nahi kiya tha. Aur nahi koi legal issues aayi hai company mein...
Mr. Batra: Sameer, it's not about the company. It's about Jaiprakash Sir's personal bank account transactions.
Sameer: Dadu ke bank transaction? What's the matter Mr. Batra?!
Mr. Batra: Kal ya Parso Sir ke savings account se 10 lakh ka transaction. Do you have any idea ki unhone yeh transaction kyun kiya??
Sameer: No, not that I am aware of. Main Dadu se puchke, aapko batata hun. Aapko receiver ka name toh show kar raha hoga na.
Mr. Batra: Pura naam nahi bas first letter of name aur last letter of surname dikha raha hai. Jo K aur I hai.
Sameer: Okay. Main kal Dadu se baat karke aapko inform kar dunga.
Mr. Batra: Thik hai. Main phone rakhta hun. Bye and take care.
Sameer: Bye and you too take care.
After declining the call, Sameer stood near the window thinking about who was in need of so much money, among their acquaintances. He was lost in deep thoughts, when Naina shook him out of his reveries. When Naina came out of the washroom after fixing her make-up, she found Sameer lost in his thoughts and his facial expressions indicated that he was worried about something. So keeping the face towel on the chair, she went near him.
Naina: Sameer ji.... sab thik hai na? Aap itna pareshan kyun nazar aa rahe hai. Ghar par sab sahi hai na?!
Sameer: Haan ghar par sab sahi hai. Woh humare legal department aur finance head ka call aaya tha. Woh bata rahe the ki Dadu ne kisi ke account mein 10 lakh rupaye transfer karwaye hai apne account se.
Naina: 10 lakh!! Itne saare paise kisko chahiye Sameer ji?
Sameer: Woh hi toh samjh nahi aa raha. Agar kisi rishtedar ko chahiye hoga toh Dadu personal account se nahi dete. Unke aur Papa ke joint account se nikalte. Zaroor koi baat hai.
Naina: Aap Dadaji se directly puch lijiye na.
Sameer: Haan, party khatam hone do. Phir karta hun. Abhi baat karne baitha toh bahar nahi ja payenge. Toh chalo, aake main unse baat lat lunga.
Naina nodded her head and was about walk in the opposite direction when Sameer held her hand. She looked at him and found him smiling lovingly at her.
Sameer: Tumhe pehle nahi keh paya. Par ab kehta hun. Tum aaj bahut khubsurat lag rahi ho ❤️. Itni ki meri nazare nahi haat rahi tumse ❤️. Agar main already tumhare pyaar mein nahi pada hota toh aaj tumhe dekhke zaroor pad jaata.
Naina blushed and looked at his fingers wrapped around her wrist, and it reminded her of the day of their wedding when his fingers were intertwined with her's while taking the pious seven rounds around the sacred agni kund. It has been only 4-5 days of their marriage but in these few days, the equation between both of them changed. When he had held her hand and took the seven vows, she wasn't happily involved in it and wanted to run far away but today when he is holding her hand, she doesn't want to go far from him.
Raising her head with a smile which melts Sameer's heart everytime it appears on her face, she looked directly into his eyes.
Naina: Aap bhi handsome dikh rahe hai ❤️
Sameer went near to ear and whispered: Koun sa wala handsome? Normal handsome ya Hero wala handsome.
Naina giggled and replied: Kisi ne mujhse kaha tha ki normal handsome aur hero jaisa handsome, aissa kuch nahi hota. Handsome handsome hota hai.
Sameer chuckled and said: Mujhe lekin kisi ne dono ke beech ke difference ko samjhake yeh bataya ki dono alag alag hote hai. Toh batayiye Biwi ji/Dost ji, main kounsa wala handsome lag raha hun.
Naina neared his ear and whispered: Hero jaisa handsome.
And rushed out of the room before he could react. Sameer smiled sheepishly and rubbed the back of his neck, seeing her cute antics. He was happy to see her being playful with him rather than the old shy and inexpressive Naina which she was since the day of their roka. But soon it dawn to him that Ruhaan is outside and he can put up any act and it can make her uncomfortable. So he rushed out to find Naina chattering with Anjali and Pandit. Seeing her with the other couple too, Sameer's heart came at peace.
Pandit: Sameer! Tu wahan kya khada hai!? Yahan aa.
When Naina saw him standing there, her cheeks coloured again as she remembered what she had whispered in his ears and ran away. By seeing her coloring, he understood what was going on in her mind and he smirked.
He sat next to her, and immediately held her hand under the table so that she couldn't ran away. Naina widened her eyes and tried to release her hand from his hold, but his grip was too tight to get loose.
Sameer: Humare anniversary couple kahan hai?! Itna time thodi lagta hai ready hone mein.
Pranati: Main gayi thi dekhne. Par dono mein se kisi ne darwaza nahi khola.
Pralay: Lagta hai, hume yahan baithake dono apni alag special and private celebration mein lage huye hai 😂😜
Pandit: Ho sakta hai. Woh kya tha....Munna college mein kehta tha......Haan "Fevicol ka jod hai, asaani se nahi chutne wala" 😂😂
Naina was confused with the double meaning conversation, and to get involved in it she tugged Sameer's sleeve. Sameer raised his brows and asked what happened.
Naina whispered in his ears: Yeh aap log kya baat kar rahe ho?! Mujhe kuch samjh nahi aa raha. Alag aur private special celebration kya hota hai?!
Ruhaan heard her whisper, and decided to create a small drama.
Ruhaan: Naina ji! Private and special celebration ka matlab woh hi hai jo pati......
Pranati understood his intention, so she stepped in.
Pranati: Naina! Kuch khas nahi. Bas woh dono kuch alone time spend kar rahe hai aur kya. Pandit aur humara toh aissa chalta rehta hai.
Anjali: Haan, tum abhi zyada iske baare mein maat socho. Jab tumhara koi special day aayega, tab Sameer tumhe samjha dega. Kyun Sameer?!
"Kisse kya samjhana hai?!"
Hearing the voice, everyone turned towards the main entrance, and found Swamun dressed in Indigo outfits. Swati wore an elegant indigo silk saree with sky blue and white abstract print on the body with a sky blue and white embroidered border, and Munna wore indigo dress pants and jacket with white T-shirt.
Pandit: Tum dono ko samjhana hai....
Anjali: Ki yeh Mumbai nahi hai.
Sameer: Aur yahan hume dress up karake, wait karwa ke, tum dono apni private party nahi kar sakte!!
Munna and Swati coloured hearing them, and couldn't meet their gaze with any of their friends.
Munna: Ais....aissi ba...baat na...nahi hai.....Woh....woh....woh Swati ke blouse..... blouse ka hook....I mean uski fitting loose thi. Toh usko usse thik karne mein der hogayi.
Swati nodded with whatever vague excuse he gave, as she wanted to get over this topic soon or else their friends would tease them till their faces resembles tomatoes.
Ruhaan: Hume sab pata hai. Hum sab bhi shaadi shuda hai. Kab kya loose hota hai sab pata hai.
Sameer saw Naina wriggling at her place as she couldn't understand a bit and she didn't like that. So in order to get her into a conversation which is comprehensible and suitable for her, he put a stop on the teasing.
Sameer: Bahut hogayi chedkhani. Humare aaj ke star couple yahan hai, so let the party begin!
Pandit: Haan! So, let's begin with the cake!!
Pandit whistled and one of the bell boy got a trolley on which a three storey cake was kept. Ot was a white icing cake with small square edible photo frames of Swamun stuck around each tyre and on the top, a small plastic banner was put with Happy Anniversary written on it. Munna stood behind Swati smilingly with his arms around her and both of them cut the cake. After feeding each other, they fed others and lots of pictures were clicked.
Ruhaan was looking through the pictures clicked by Purvi on his phone, when he saw the group picture of all 7 friends.
Ruhaan: Iss picture ko humare school wale picture ke saath collage karke rakhna chahiye. Nahi?
Anjali: Haan, ruko ek sec mere paas hai woh wali picture, abhi collage kar dete hai.
Swati: Main soch rahi thi, kyun na hum sab apna ek whatsapp group bana le. Ruhaan itne saal humare kisi ke bhi contact mein nahi tha. Ab finally mila hai toh contact chutna nahi chahiye hai na!
Ruhaan: Nahi chutega. Kyunki main Sameer aur Pranati ke contact mein jo aagaya hun.
He smirked at Sameer and Pranati, whereas they glared at him. Naina didn't like the way he was looking at her husband and sister in-law, and now she was inquisitive to know what actually happened between him and Ruhaan and maybe Pranati has something to do with the rift too, as Ruhaan's behavior towards the other four friends was quite normal.
Purvi: Maine bahut suna hai aap sabki dosti ke baare mein. Lekin kabhi yeh nahi suna ki aapki dosti huyi kaise? I mean aap sab ek class mein nahi the right. Ruhaan aap sabse ek class senior the.
Pandit: Sameer aur Pranati ke wajah se. Ruhaan ki dosti sabse pehle inn dono se huyi thi, phir humara number aaya tha.
Munna: Sameer uss waqt school cricket team mein tha, aur Ruhaan shayad vice captain tha. Wahan inn dono ki mulakat huyi aur dosti bhi. Aur Pranati badminton khelti thi aur yeh dono bhi.
Sameer and Pranati looked at each other. Sameer blinked his eyes in assurance, and this didn't go unnoticed by Naina. She immediately understood that her assumption was right. Ruhaan had done something wrong with Pranati and that happened in the last inter state competition they all had played in.
Naina: Sameer Ji! Pranati bhabhi, apne kabhi bataya nahi ki aap log badminton khelte hai....Mujhe bhi shauk hai badminton ka.
Pralay: Haan! Humari Naina kuch kam nahi hai. Ghar mein humare living room ke shelf full hai iske trophies se. Badminton, debate, dance aur painting, har cheez mein number one hua karti thi humari champion! Bas badi chachi ke jaane ke baad, ek sanduk mein band hogaye iske saare talent.
Everyone could see Naina's eyes starting to tear up. Munna poked his elbow in Swati's shoulder and signalled her to change the topic.
Swati: Aammm....yeh toh bahut acchi baat hai. I mean, Music aur dance jaise ek dusre ke bina adhure hai, waise hi husband and wife bhi adhure hote hai na.....
Anjali: Swati ke kehne ka yeh matlab hai ki, Sameer aur Naina ko apne talent ke liye partner mil gaye na. Jaise music ke bina dance nahi ho sakta aur music bina dance ke adhura hota hai, waise hi ab jab bhi Naina ko dance karne hoga. Sameer apne guitar ke saath gaana gaa lega. Kyun Sameer!?
Sameer: Haan! Aur mujhe bhi gaana gaane ke liye ek solo audience mil gayi.
Munna: Baat gaana gaane ki chidhi hai toh Sameer! Chal bhai, ek gaana gaa de. Dekh yeh stage tere liye hi lagwaya hai.
Sameer was about to give an excuse but seeing Naina's glittering eyes, and her shining excited face he couldn't get a no on his tongue. So he happily nodded and went to the small stage with a chair and immediately a guitar too came.
He started strumming the strings and hummed a tune. He had closed his eyes, and smiled seeing Naina's face and started singing.
Tera fitoor jab se chadh gaya re
Tera fitoor jab se chadh gaya re
Ishq jo zara sa tha woh badh gaya re
Tera fitoor jab se chadh gaya re
The day of Pranati and Pralay's wedding ran through infront of his eyes, where he had laid his eyes on Naina for the first time. The innocent looking girl clad up in mauve pink silk lehenga, took away his breath in the first sight only, in such a manner that he was roaming around her the whole wedding.
Tu jo mere sang chalne lage
To meri raahein dhadakne lage
Dekhun jo na ik pal main tumhein
Toh meri baahein tadapne lage
All the time he had followed her to her college in morning and to her home in the evening flashed in front of his eyes. He had make an excuse everyday for being absent for 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the evening. He mentally chuckled remembering all the silly excuses.
Ishq jo zara sa tha woh badh gaya re
Tera fitoor jab se chadh gaya re
Tera fitoor jab se chadh gaya re
The day when he had gone to Agrawal House with his family came rushing infront of his eyes now. He saw his nervous Naina looking magnificent in the navy blue bandhani saree. How she was trembling in anxiety till they had the conversation on the terrace. How a mere funny conversation made her till comfortable and she flashed her priceless smile.
Haathon se laqeerein yehi kehti hai
Ki zindagi jo hai meri
Tujhi mein ab rehti hai
The most memorable day of his life. His wedding day with his love, Naina ran through infront his eyes. His love dressed up in the maroon and golden bridal lehenga, as his bride sitting next to him infront of their families and the Panditji performing all rituals of the marriage, and the moment where he filled her hairline with vermilion and tied the mangalasutra around her neck, was the best one among the short flashback he had while singing.
Labon pe likhi hai mere dil ki khwaahish
Lafzon mein kaise main bataaun
Ikk tujhko hi paane ki khaatir
Sabse judaa main ho jaaun
The day of her pagphere came in front of his eyes, when he had shared his pain of being a motherless man and half truth of his love towards her. He wanted to tell her on the day of their engagement itself but then seeing her irresponsive demeanor, he had to keep quiet.
Kal tak maine jo bhi khwaab the dekhe
Tujhme woh dikhne lage
Ishq jo zara sa tha woh badh gaya re
Tera fitoor jab se chadh gaya re
Tera fitoor jab se chadh gaya re
Next was the day when she had revealed that she wanted to leave him and their families because of the stupid things imbibed in her brain that she is ominous and all. And how he handled her, and made her see the reality. After which she was willingly taking steps towards him and started to do small small things that wives do for their husbands.
Saanson ke kinaare bade tanha thhe
Tu aa ke inhe chhu le bas
Yehi toh mere armaan thhe
He opened his eyes and found that his wife was looking at him with a proud in her eyes and her gaze held a softness towards him. It seemed that she was lost in his melodious and soothing voice.
Saari duniya se mujhe kya lena hai
Bas tujhko hi pehchaanu
Mujhko na meri ab khabar ho koi
Tujhse hi khudko main jaanu
Raatein nahi kat'ti bechain se hoke
Din bhi guzarne lage
He smiled and got up from his sit, he walked till her and held out his hand for her. Her face was flustered, and blushingly she kept her palm on top of his. He was singing and also swaying both of them according to the tunes.
Ishq jo zara sa tha woh badh gaya re
Tera fitoor jab se chadh gaya re
Tera fitoor jab se chadh gaya re
With her head kept on his shoulder, and her arms around him, Naina felt like she was in heaven. It was so warm and soothing that she didn't want him to stop singing and dancing with her. Sameer had felt that she wouldn't be leaving him, as her grip was quite tighter than usually a woman has while dancing with her partner.
So with her being in his arms, he prompted the other couples to get up and start dancing while he started to sing another romantic song to set the mood.
Pal, do pal, ki hi kyun hai zindagi
Iss, pyar, ko hai sadiyaan kaafi nahi
Toh khuda se maang lun
Mohalat main ik nayi
Rehna hai bas yahaan
Ab door tujhse jaana nahi
Jo tu mera humdard hai
Jo tu mera humdard hai
Suhaana har dard hai
Jo tu mera humdard hai
Teri muskurahatein hain taaqat meri
Mujhko inhi se ummeed mili
Chaahe kare koi sitam ye jahaan
Inme hi hai sadaa hifaazat meri
Zindagani badi khoobsurat hui
Jannat ab aur kya hogi kahin
Jo tu mera Humdard hai
Jo tu mera Humdard hai
Suhaana har dard hai
Jo tu mera Humdard hai
Woooo...
Teri dhadkano se hai zindagi meri
Khwahishein teri ab duaaein meri
Kitna anokha bandhan hai ye
Teri meri jaan jo ek hui
Lotunga yahaan tere paas main haan
Waada hai mera mar bhi jaaun kahin
Jo tu mera humdard hai
Jo tu mera humdard hai
Suhaana har dard hai
Jo tu mera humdard hai
hmmm.. humdard hai
hmmm.. humdard hai
hmmm.. humdard hai
hmmm.. humdard hai...
During this whole song, Naina's eyes were fixed on Sameer's, she was reading the softness, love, care, respect and affection he had written all over his face, towards her. She had already started feeling being the most lucky woman in this world for having him as her husband since day 0, but the way their relationship has shaped in the past couple of days, her feelings had got stronger and so was her determination towards becoming the best wife and daughter in-law for Sameer and his family.
Pranati and Pralay noticed how lost were Samaina in each other and seeing their relationship taking it's shape, they felt emotional.
Pralay: Pranu, Naina aur Sameer ko aisse dekhke main kitna khush hun, main bata nahi sakta. Mann kar raha hai ki abhi Bade Chachaji ko call karun aur unhe yeh khushkhabri suna dun.
Pranati: Haan! Main bhi inn dono ko aisse ek dusre mein khoye dekh bahut khush hun. Bhagwan kare, inke beech pyaar jaldi ghar kar le. Aur inka rishta normal pati patni jaisa ban jaye.
Pralay: Accha hai ki tumne mujhe Sameer ke baare mein bata diya tha. Nahi toh main shayad hi Bade Chachaji ko convince kar pata Naina ki jaldi shaadi ke liye.
Pranati: Pralay, uss waqt ke liye I am sorry. Mujhe tumhe blackmail nahi karna chahiye tha. But I didn't want ki Naina apne shell se nikalne mein aur der kare.
Pralay: Pranu!
Samaina's closeness was adored by everyone there but except for one man. And that was, Ruhaan Roy Choudhry, he was thinking of ways to hurt Sameer as he wasn't liking the smile on his face. He wanted to destroy Sameer's little happiness, and the only way was Naina.
Before he could say or do something, Munna sighed loudly in tiredness.
Munna: Bas bhai! Ab thodi der hum bhi baithte hai aur Sameer ko bhi aaram karne dete hai. Lagataar do do gaane gaaye hai. Thak gaya hoga.
Pandit: Haan! Chalo kuch kha pee lete hai tab tak. Aur saath mein baatein bhi kar lenge.
Anjali: Tumhe sirf khane ki padi rehti hai. Yeh nahi ki itne dino baad tumne Sameer ko gaate suna, toh uski thodi si tarif kar do 🙄
Pandit: Arrey meri jaan! Sameer ki jitni tarif kare utni kam hai. Kyun Chenu!?
Munna: Haan! Apna Sameer karoron mein ek hai ❤️
Swati: Aur usse ussi ki jaisi pyaari aur sabse acchi biwi mili hai, Naina ❤️. Naina, main tumhe sach bataun. Jab Sameer ne hume aake kaha ki woh arrange marriage karne wala hai aur woh ladki dekhne ja raha hai. Hum sab itna ghabra gaye ki pata nahi kounsi ladki ko dekhega. Woh usse pyaar, respect, support, care aur affection de payegi ki nahi jitna uska haq hai. Par jab hum tumse pehli baar mile airport par, hum jhat se jaan gaye ki tum humare Sameer ke liye Best ho ❤️❤️
Sameer: Tum logon ko meri baaton se pata nahi chala ki, Naina kitni acchi hai. Phone par aur milne par, baatein hoti toh thi tum sabse iske baare mein.
Munna: Haan haan, humari conversation teri sagaai ke baad Naina se shuru aur Naina se khatam hoti thi. Bhabhi, aapko pata hai, humse milne aate hi bas ek sawaal puchta tha humare baare mein phir uske baad bas aapke baare bolta rehta tha. Naina yeh, Naina woh 😉
Anjali: Munna ek dum sahi keh raha hai. Tumhe bataya tha na ki isne tumhare liye kitne saare gifts kharide the, aaj maine kisi bhi ladke ko itna fussy hote nahi dekha jitna Sameer ko dekha tha. Ek saree kharidne ke liye, usne Mumbai ki haar dukaan kam se kam 2 baar ghumi hai.
Swati: Itna agar Munna aur Pandit karte toh aaj hum itna complain nahi karte inke baare mein 🙄🙄
Purvi: Naina ji! Aap bahut lucky hai ki aapko Sameer Ji jaise husband mile. Itna caring aur loving husband milna asaan nahi hai.
Naina smiled at Purvi and then looked at Sameer with adoration.
Naina: Main janti hun, Sameer Ji is the best. Unke jaisa bhagwan ne sirf ek banaya hai. Aur woh ek piece unhone mere liye banaya hai ❤️❤️
Sameer: Tum bhi toh single piece ho, mere liye bani huyi, specially manufactured piece ❤️
Samaina were lost in each other, and were brought out of their lala land, when Munna coughed loudly.
Ruhaan: Waise Naina Ji hai hi itni khubsurat, kisi ko bhi inse pyaar ho jayega. Agar main shaadi shuda nahi hota, toh shayad main bhi inke pyaar mein pagal hogaya hota jitna Sameer hai, ya shayad usse zyada.
Ruhaan's eyes held lust and desire in his eyes, and he was undressing Naina through his eyes which cringed Naina and wasn't left unnoticed by Sameer and other's too. Sameer had to bite his tongue as Naina held his hand when he was about to attack Ruhaan for his filthy gaze and indirect sexual comment.
Naina: I doubt Ruhaan Ji! Jitna Sameer ji mujhse pyaar karte hai, utna koi nahi kar sakta hai. Woh baaki patiyon ki tarah nahi hai, jo apni patni ko apne ichchhaon aur zarooraton ke neeche dabake rakhe. Inke liye, khudse pehle main aati hun aur shuruwat se aati rahi hun. Mujhe nahi pata ki aapka aur Purvi ji ka rishta kaisa hai, par main itna zaroor janti hun. Humara rishta agar aaj khubsurat hai toh woh sirf aur sirf Sameer ji ke wajah se hai. Kyunki inhone mujhse pyaar kiya hai, mere sharir se nahi.
Purvi was mortified due to the direct attack by Naina on her husband, in order to prevent further embarrassment, she called off the night by saying that they have to wake up early tomorrow morning to catch their flight and dragged Ruhaan alongwith her, inside the haveli. Sameer and others were glad that Naina spoke for Sameer's love and shut Ruhaan's filthy mouth and mind.
They all enjoyed the dinner and it was time to return back to their respective rooms, when Sameer and Pranati asked Pralay and Naina to came back to the lawn once again after four of them have changed and freshened, as both of them have something to tell the siblings duo.
Naina had got a small hint of what they wanted to say, and quietly agreed to her husband and sister in law's request.
Apologies for late update. I was busy with the various festivities and work, and couldn't write anything.
