It was the day after the party and I had a huge hangover. "Thanks a lot Joshua", I thought. Then I looked at my phone, it was Levi. He seemed to waited until I woke, or maybe he can just relate to hangovers. I picked the phone up and reply to Levi, he immediately replied. Even tho I knew he was dating Eren, I asked him to meet me at the coffee shop. Levi happily accepted. I got ready and took some pain medicine for the headache.

I get to the coffee shop. My heart stopped.

I was swallowed while by fear and anxiety. It was Eren. He was standing there holding Levi's phone. He looked over at me, as quick as his emerald eyes could be warming was as quick as they could cut you. Eren started walking closer to me, his left arm behind his back. I had my fists balled in the pocket of my sweatshirt.

Eren: Dante, why are you asking Levi out on a date. You know we're dating. You know that if you where to cross the line, Levi would kill you no second guess. I love him with all my heart. I would do anything to protect him. Me and him already had a serious talk.

I could feel his cold stare. He took out was behind his back. It was Levi's baby blue sweatshirt. I looked closer. There was blood on it. I felt my chest get heavy and my face hot. I stared to yell at Eren.

Dante: Y-You hurt him! T-There is all the proof of it on that hoodie! W-Why! Why would you hurt him? He wanted to get out of the house because you're and overprotective asshole who won't give him space!

Anger stared to take over my body. I stared crying.

Eren: This is what love is! If your partner isn't acting correctly you teach them a lesson! Remember Dante, you where taught all about them! I heard your talk with Levi. Your 3 ex's beat the shit out of you! I believe on of them but you in the hospital!

I stared remembering everything. I darted our and ran though the Ally way. I looked over and saw a limp body, lying there, crying in pain. I ran over to it and turned it over. It was Levi. I held him, and started to shake his shoulder, trying to see if he was fully awake.

Dante: L-Levi? Hey your gonna be fine. I tired my phone on, the cops are gonna be there to get I. You gonna be ok. I promise.

Levi was too beaten and upset to get his full story out. All I remember was "he got mad". I was crying hard. Levi hand gripping my shirt tight, he kept crying, I was trying my best not to fully break down.

About 5 minuets later, the cops and EMTs arrived. This is where the problems started, the one EMT went to go pick Levi up, I he let out a horrified scream, like he was scared of everything and everyone on, but me. I remember Eren saying "This is love". But was it really?

I did something I later regret, I kissed Levi's blood covered forehead. I talked him down.

Dante: Hey, Levi look at me, your gonna be fine. I'm not leaving your side. Your way to important to me, the EMTs are here to take you so you can get all cleaned up, I'm gonna go with you, I'll hold you. Your gonna be just fine. I promise. But I need you to tell him what happened.

Levi look up at me with his eyes ice blue, he was still crying but I could understand him more. But his voice was still quite and scared.

Levi: A-After I accepted y-your invite to the coffee shop, E-Eren, h-he snapped. H-He tackled me, a-and just started hitting me. Then he d-dragged me to the car. W-We got o-out and threw me here. M-My hoodie, h-he took it so I couldn't c-call you. D-Dante I'm sorry! I-I'm sorry! I d-didn't mean to put you in danger!

I held Levi and rubbed the back of his head, kissing him once more on the cheek. I could feel his breathing after I did it, it was softer and calming. He was laying his head on my chest so he could hear my heart. Levi passed out.

The EMT took him and laid him onto the stretcher, he looked at me asking if I wanted to go. I declined the offer, but I gave him my sweatshirt to cover him up with. He nodded and closed the doors. Driving off.

The words Eren said dung a hole into my head " this is love". I knew only 1 person mattered, and no matter what I was gonna protect him.
