(Genos POV)

"I hope he's alright, Dream said he was corrupted..??" I spoke as we walked to the old cottage. "Yeah, he did try to kill me" shrugging he sighed looking at him he seemed really deep in thought.

Bumping him with my shoulder he looked at me "let's not think to much of it let's just try and get him." he nodded slowly grabbing my hand so he could interlace our fingers.

Smiling slightly I walked a bit closer to him since he was basically a walking heater to me it helped combat the cold air, sure I was kinda used to how cold it was but it dosent mean I don't like warmth.

He noticed and chuckled slightly "what" I snapped feeling a bit embarrassed. "Oh nothing~"  scoffing I let go of his hand and crossed my arms.

I heard him laugh again but he just wrapped his arm around me to pull me closer to his side as we walked along  I couldn't complain but I still held my pout.

Arriving at the place the jovial mood ended as we saw that someone had set it up in flames sure the fire was out but the demolition of it was still easy to see. How black scorch marks ran up the standing walls. The roof had been caved it after the fire had problems burnt down the support beams.

"Oh no" I said reaper was silent his arm fell loose off of me so I could walk.

"Damn it." I muttered I noticed the path that we'd use to the berry field had golden splatters on some of the leaves or trees. "Their" I said loudly turning to see reaper who was examining some of the wreckage.

Nodding hesitantly  he followed as I quickly went down the path "Geno wait this is where it happened" stopping I looked back reaper stood a few paces back.

Walking over to him I noticed their looked like their had been a struggle.

"I was looking for you, and then he cane out of nowhere Dream had helped me but I'm not sure where he went after that."

He was looking around as I thought, If I where lust where would I be...

Thunder could be heard over head, making both reaper and I look up. "Shoot we have to hurry" I mumbled knowing something bad was happening clouds as dark as night could be seen dotting the sky promising rain yet it didn't give way.

Looking at a weird jagged mark on the bark of the tree I felt someone pull me back with something around my chest. "Reaper!" I yelped before getting thrown on the dirt making me wheeze.

Reaper quickly grabbed my assailant but got a harsh elbow to the face. "Sh*t" he cursed stumbling back glaring kicking the persons shins you don't hit my mans and get away with it.

That seemed to catch them off guard long enough for reaper to get them down and pin them.

Now able to get a better look I noticed it was non other then the Angel we have been looking for "lust?!" I asked he was struggling beneath reaper. Yet he definitely wasn't him self Black was running down one of his eye sockets and his eye lights where a darker purple then usual.

Giving reaper a nervous look he exchanged it back "gen what are we supposed to do." Thinking I looked around seeing a long root jutting out the ground.

Summoning my knife I sawed at it. Until it cut from the tree, mumbling an apology to the poor tree I cut this off of, reaper was to distracted holding just and trying not to get a wing to the face to notice.

"Here move slightly, having to kinda duck under reapers arm I tied the root around lusts wrists. "And his wings?" Reaper asked making lust snarl more "touch them and you die.

Ignoring that I cut off another piece of root I tied the two wings together.

Reaper now finally aloud to let go heaved a sigh, eyeing lust for a moment before looking back at me, "do you know about this corruption?" Lust piped up interrupting reaper before he could reply "of course they wouldn't tell him he's a traitor to his kind~" 

Reaper gave a low growl resting an hand on his arm "it's not worth it" I didn't think he would listen if he injured lust anymore then he had to toriel wouldn't let us hear the end of it.

Sure he's dangerous but he's still an angel, non the less a virtue angel.

Thankfully reaper let out a sigh still looking like he was about to tear off lusts wings.

"Let's just go and quickly" he said quietly. Hauling lust up who still struggled spitting out curses, Toriel would wash his mouth out with holy water for centuries if she heard.

Holding on to reaper I teleported us back up.

We where in the castle, I didn't mean to teleport us here..

Looking at reaper confused he didn't think much of it. "Good job getting us away from the action we might have been swarmed if they saw me having lust up in diy hand cuffs.

Smiling slightly I know he was trying to lighten the mood but I couldn't help not shake off the eerie feeling.

"Let's go to cells, that way we can keep him their and not have to worry." Reaper nodded again.

"Do you know the way?" He shook his head "it's right left right and then down the steps, I just have to go fetch a bracelet I'll be back in a moment okay?"

He paused "be careful" "you too" he gave me a long look but turned and continued to drag lust down the hall who weirdly didn't struggle anymore instead he was just limp in his arms grinning back at me with a smug look.

"What's he up to" I mumbled turning around to go to the court room where the bracelets where hoping I would run in to a fellow virtue. Or rather not run in to any demons or corrupted that managed to get through.

Turning the corner everything seemed clear. Walking in I enter a small closet like room just within. A file cabinet that could only be opened by us seven was in the Center, using my magic it unlocked.

Seven bracelets where kept, seeing a brief cause on top of a shelf I reached and grabbed it tucking each one within.  Locking the brief cause I headed out to go find reaper.

Jogging slightly the dreadful feeling grew. Was I being watched?  Gripping it tighter I jogged a little faster until I broke in to a run knowing the way perfectly.

Looking behind me I hadn't noticed a artifact had fallen off a shelf in the middle of the floor my foot caught on it and I face planted on the marble.

The cause sliding across the floor.

"Ow" I groaned freezing when I heard foot steps echo in the quiet hall behind me.

Not just one set but multiple. Trying to discreetly reach for it before I could make a run for it.

A foot stepped on the my hand making me wince looking up it was none other then the demon of wrath. "Nightmare" he grinned "so we meet again. Where's lover boy huh? " quietly staring at him I looked seeing chara and horror follow  with swap fell flanking nightmare. "Well he can't save you this time. Geno."

(Now where getting somewhere XD, but hope you enjoyed this chapter was listening to this song the other day and thought of this book if you can guess the song then yay! But anyways this will be updated again soon I'm trying to update my books more frequently now since I'm getting more time. Till the next chapter!
