These two were extremely hard to create and I am still in the middle of trying to come up with black and blue haired Rafael from his first few appearances.

Ajani is a complicated character too, he is Rafael's adoptive brother - which isn't known to Marcus yet.

Both of these characters that I am going to show you are probably the most difficult I've created so far...

For Rafael, I mixed Jensen Ackles with another actor who I'm not familiar with. It came out as this. This is the Rafael that you get to see after the showdown between himself and Marcus.

This is Ajani. A mix of Tony Todd and Morgan Freeman. A fun fact is that Ajani was inspired by someone I know in real life who gave me some wise words of advice which I still carry with me now.

Pretty easy to create, though I definitely should have created these visuals sooner. His character plays a vital role as you will know if you have read through the books.

This final picture is Maria, Eric's girlfriend and mother of his newborn son Kristopher. For her look I mixed Nina Dobrev with Emma Watson. It took a few tries before the look came out right, although her hair is supposed to be darker. While she isn't present in the last few chapters of book 2 or the first few chapters of book 3, she will reappear later on. Her story is not over.
