The weekend quickly approaches, and I am looking forward to a special and tranquil day with my goddess. Raven is still sound asleep when I turn around and check on her. As I kiss the top of her head, she gives me a happy smile and her eyes slowly open.

"Happy Birthday baby," She says as she lifts her head to kiss me.

I wrap my arms around her and kiss her back, thanking her. We lay there for what seems like forever but I don't care, I inhale taking in her peppermint scent.

"You know you smell very delicious," I tease her.

"Oh is that so?" She raises her eyebrow.

I pin her arms to the bed and place myself on top of her kissing her neck.

"Hmmm", I mumble as I leave wet kisses all over her.

"Have I ever told you that your body is shaped like a bottle that I want to drink from?" I ask while trailing my tongue in between her breasts.

"No," She breathes heavily in between cute little giggles.

"Well, it is," I make my way down to her thighs and kiss her. She moans and I feel the goosebumps rise on her body.

"Baby," She says in between breaths, "It's your Birthday, shouldn't I be the one to pleasure you?"

I lift my head and look at her and smirk plasters on my face.

"Yeah, It is my day, which means I get what I want and right now what I want is to taste you." Before she even gets a chance to speak, my tongue is on her spot, and it is causing every sensation in her body to be triggered. After a few minutes of my taking her in completely, I see that her body is beginning to tense up. As she releases her grip, I continue to lick her and grin to myself. I give her one last kiss on the inner part of her thigh to seal the deal.

"Who needs coffee when I can have this every morning," I smile.

She rolls her eyes and throws the pillow at me as she laughs at my nonsense.

"I got something for you," She tells me, "It's on the top shelf of the closet,"

I get up and head to the closet, where I remove a little box before returning to the bed to proceed with the opening of the package. Taking out a bracelet made of silver and black carbon, which is the guy's equivalent of the bracelet that I purchased for her. When I look attentively, I see that the words that I frequently tell her are written there.

From now until forever, we will always be together

"I love it, thank you," I kiss her, "When did you get it?"

"A couple of months ago, I wanted to make sure I had it ready for your Birthday. Then I hid it, there's also one more," She smiles.

"What? This is enough," She helps me with the bracelet, I lift her onto my lap "Actually you are enough," She kisses my cheek and then walks to the closet, taking everything out until she brings out another box and hands it to me.

"I hope you like these," She says quietly.

I open the box to find a brand new pair of black Timberland boots.

"I think these are going to be my go-to boots from now on," I smile and pull her in for a hug kissing her forehead. This day is already starting off amazingly.

I got up and hurriedly showered after the substantial breakfast that Raven and Brie had prepared. As soon as I get dressed and put on my new shoes, I tell Raven I'll be back shortly. I'm ready for a fresh tattoo when Logan and I get to the tattoo parlour.

"You're crazy dude," Logan laughs.

"Yeah, you just noticed?" I laugh along.

"Ray is going to kill you," Logan adds. I just shrug my shoulders.

After everything is finished, I check the tattoo in the mirror. Aside from the Bird on my arm, I believe this is my favourite. It is distinctive due to the blue flames.

As we pull into the driveway, we can hear the girls playing music outside from the front yard. As I close the door to my car, the thought that crosses my mind is that at least I can stomach the song that they are listening to right now. As soon as we step inside, I stop where we are and watch Raven move her hips before I turn to stare at the patio in the back of the house. After taking a cursory look at Logan, I hand him two hundred dollars.

"I don't care where you go but you and Brie need to leave for a few hours, Now."

Without a word, he walks to Brie and tells her they need to leave as I walk up behind Raven and kiss her neck. I whisper,

"Go get your bathing suit on,"

She doesn't hesitate, she runs upstairs and gets dressed as I do the same. When she walks out of the bathroom she looks at my stomach and notices the new tattoo.

"Why?" She asks.

"Because I love you,"

She gently glides her fingers over the cursive lettering that spells out her name surrounded by blue flames right on my V-line. She looks up at me and smiles.

"So now this will make any girl look right here, your V-line is already very defined but this accentuates it," She laughs.

"Well, if they do, they'll see your name right here, meaning I'm yours and yours only," I grab her waist, she wraps her arms around my neck.

"Should you be going into the pool with a fresh tat?"

"It's already healed, remember fast healing. I want to have fun with you, so let's go." I pick her up and carry her downstairs and outside.

I ease her into the water before submerging myself completely. After moving closer to her and beginning to kiss her, I move her against the wall of the pool and began to make love to her. As her legs encircle me, I come closer to her and press my hardness up against her body.

"Clay," She says quietly, "What about Logan and Brie?"

"I kicked them out for a few hours, we are completely alone," I tell her as I continue kissing her neck leaving my mark on her.

She grabs my face and gives me a fierce kiss. I take her in as my tongue divides our mouths. My hand moves down to her bottoms, yanking them to the side as my finger slowly slides into her, pumping.

"Clay", She moans.

I kiss the nape of her neck as I slowly enter her from behind after turning her around and kissing the back of her neck. As I continue to move at a rapid pace, she experiences goosebumps all over her back and a rapid rate of heartbeat, which causes her to give out a gasp, which is then followed by a moan. We both achieve our apex, at which point she savours the moment by planting a passionate kiss on my lips.

"Happy Birthday baby, I love you," She tells me.

"I love you," I say, holding onto her.

She swims away and starts laughing.

"Do you remember when we first met?"

"How could I not, you were a bitch to me," I laugh.

"Yeah, and you were a playboy getting every girls number", She smiles.

"Hey, I didn't get your number", I swim towards her. "I settled with just your name."

She looks at me, her eyes locked on mine. I move closer and grab her ass, lifting her up to me.

"And then you made your way through my veins," She gives me a sultry smile.

"Ray?"

"Yeah?"

"You're the best damn thing that has ever happened to me", I take a deep breath, "No one has ever made me feel the way I feel when I'm in your arms."

"Mr.Cladwell, are you saying you can't live without me?" She grins.

I take my hand and caress her face. "What I'm saying is I can't live without you and what you do to me".

"Well, if we're being honest, I knew all about your reputation. I was warned that heartbreak would happen if I involved myself with you but I didn't care I liked the challenge, then you sparked something in me that I didn't know I had and I can't help it I'm helpless every time your around," She kisses my lips tenderly before continuing, "I'm a strong person but when you walk in all my strength walks out the door,"

"That's funny, cause when you say my name I can't fight my feelings for you, I become weak but loving you has become my strength,"

Raven runs her fingers through my hair and I can see the sadness in her eyes.

"Okay, tell me what's running through that head of yours, what's on your mind?"

"Nothing," She pulls away and gets out of the pool drying herself off then heading back inside.

What the fuck?

I get out and run after her, catching her walking to the fridge.

"Babe, what the hell?" I'm confused, "I literally just poured my heart out to you and you walk away?"

"Sorry I just..." She starts but turns around and looks away from me, "This summer has been filled with silence, just you and I, I'm dreading heading back to school or attending any of the parties you and Logan throw,"

"Why?"

"Because...because you're Clay Cladwell, the boy of every girl's dream at that damn school. I hate the things they say, every time I walk that campus all I hear is talk about I'm just your next toy or you're just having fun or my favourite -It's got to be a bet between him and the guys, there's no way he would go for someone like her- I can't take it," She shouts and walks away heading up the stairs.

"Ray!" I yell after her, grabbing her arm, turning her to face me. She looks at me tears starting to form she says,

"They say I'm something you can do without like you can just toss me aside as if I'm nothing," She blinks back the tears, "I've seen it before you can have any girl, anyone you want so it makes me wonder why me?"

"How long have you been keeping this in?"

"Since you asked me to marry you," She tells me.

I take a deep breath, turning her towards our room, "Okay, let it all out"

She sits on the bed as I close the door behind me.
