[As Asagi Igawa speaks, a portal opens up behind her. A lone man appears from the portal and falls to his knees as Asagi turns around.]

Asagi: Great Kabuki! Are you alright? Let me help you.

[As the portal closes, the man doesn't even register Asagi's presence. He seems completely stricken by whatever he saw on the other side of the portal.]

????: It can't be! We routed his invasion! He was destroyed!

Asagi: Who? Vilgax?

????: I saw him...more powerful than ever! Torn his realm asunder! Am I too late? Has he already brought the apocalypse to this world?

[He looks around at the devastation around him. He still hasn't noticed Asagi Igawa, who now speaks into her communicator.]

Asagi: Asagi to UN Orbital Space Station. I need a med-unit at my location. We have another victim of the invasion.

[Asagi stops the communication and approaches the man.]

Asagi: Please come with me, you're safe now. We--

[Asagi Igawa tries to gently touch him on the shoulder, but her hand is slapped away. He now finally registers Asagi's presence and quickly becomes hostile.]

????: I have been followed! Who are you?

Asagi: No one will hurt you. My name is Asagi Igawa.

[His eyes suddenly glow yellow with rage and his voice distorts.]

????: I am not so easily fooled, horseman of Apocalypse. Your master has sent you to finish me, but this battle will be your last! FIGHT!

[They fight. Forced to defend herself, Asagi Igawa manages to subdue the man and knock him to the ground. As she approaches, he scurries to his knees and opens a portal.]

Asagi: Please wait!

[While the rage has worn off, He is still very much afraid of everything around him. With barely a look behind him, he plunges into the portal, which closes behind him. Asagi Igawa then receives another communique.]

Murasaki: Asagi, this is Yatsu. Monstrous Man is not in Metropolis. The Ninja Temple has been breached.

Asagi: That's impossible!

Murasaki: Dax may be in serious trouble.

Asagi: And without him, so is Earth. I'm on my way.

[Asagi Igawa cuts of the communication and walks away.]
