I can't remember where I found this headcanon, who's it was, but I love it.

Armin was Switzerland in a past life. This explains his withdrawal from conflict (in certain aspects) and his will to stay behind and plan tactics instead of fight, like Switzerland's neutrality.

Like seriously though, look me in the eye (it's a figure of speech. I know you can't exactly) and tell me they don't have striking resemblance.
