Jack's POV

"We're giung to need a plan if we want to defeat Pitch and Penelope." I said "Hiccup?"

We all turned and faced Hiccup waiting for him to come up with a plan since he was the most sensible one, and resourceful.

"What are you all looking at me for?" he said.

"Well you're probably the best thinker out of all of us, we thought you would have a plan." Rapunzel said.

" I do, I just -- I'm lust not used to people asking me what to do." He said.

"Well get used to it Hic, Yer a brilliant person and someone worth listenin to." Merida said with a smile.

HIccup's face lit up and he began explaining the plan.

Hiccup is going to enter Pitch's lair begging to be on Pitch's side saying he would like to be on the dark side. Merida and I will sneak in and monitor everything from above. Rapunzel  will take on Penelope. Since Rapunzel is not as effected by her powers, because she is the healer. They'll defeat Penelope, while Merida and I will come out from our hiding place and help Hiccup defeat Pitch.

Hiccup's POV

It was a pretty good plan........that is if everything goes right. We were starting to pack up the sleigh when I noticed Merida sulking while packing her arrows.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

She looked at me and hugged me.

"Hey it's okay." I said soothingly

"Please be careful, I don't want to lose you too." she said.

"Hey, you're looking at the most cautious guy there is." I chuckled.

"Says the guy who decided to fight a huge dragon while he was human." she said.

"Well, you got me there." I smiled down at her.

"If anything goes wrong, just remember you're not useless, you never were and you never will be, you will always be the most talented amazing intelligent person I have ever known and I'm thankful for that." She said.

I kissed the top of her head.

"I want you to remember that you're beautiful, funny, and couragious. You are the bravest, passionate, and the funniest person I have ever met." I stated "You scare me in the best possible way."(Got that last quote from a picture and LOVED IT haha -Firegirl101)

"Come on lovebirds, it's time to go." Jack said.

************THE ATTACK (Still in Hiccup's POV)*********************

I walked into Pitch's hideout and called out for anyone. Nobody answered. Maybe they're not here. I turned around only to see Pitch and Penelope standing before me.

"You have a lot of guts coming back here little viking." she said.

"I wanted to come back and tell you that I want to join your side..........the winning side." I said.

"Really?! What about that whole big speech about loving your friends." Pitch questioned.

"I thought I did but then I realized that their just so annoying. They never listen to anything I have to say and Jack and Merida are always fighting. Please, please don't send me back there." I begged.

Merida's POV

My heart was beating faster than a hummingbird. I was so worried. I was able to see Hiccup from my hiding place. I saw him beg Pitch to take him to his side. Please work please work. I saw Pitch open his arms and gave Hiccup a hug. Phew it worked. Now Rapunzel let's just hope Rapunzel will find and defeat Penelope.

Rapunzel's POV

Alright Penelope prepare for a battle I thought to myself.

I yelled "Hey Penelope I'm right here, Go ahead take your best shot."

The three of them turned.

"Rapunzel what are you doing?" Hiccup pretended to ask

"I'm fighting for what's right unlike you who deserted us." I shouted

"Hello my dear, you're the little golden one aren't you?" Penelope said.

"Yes, I'm up for a challenge, though I guess you'll have to do." I smirked hiding of how scared I was.

"Hmm well let's begin." she raised her fist.

I instantly felt pain but it wasn't that bad. It was like getting punched in the gut. I heaved over and began rising the ground and shooting rocks at her. She began to dodge and started to shoot fire at me.

"Oh come on you can shoot fire now!" I shouted.

"Always have, dear you still don't understand I can control anything that can cause pain." she smiled

"Well good thing I can do that too!" I heard Merida yell.

What was she doing she wasn't suppose to come out yet! I saw fear cross Hiccup's face. Merida began sending fire balls towards her. Of course Penelope caught it.

"Nothing you do will stop me silly child, The more pain you throw my way the more strong I become." she began to raise her fist and Merida hunched over in pain.

Hiccup begged Pitch to make it stop. "You were never on the dark side Hiccup, I know your deepest fears, and this one is your ultimate losing the little fire girl."

Hiccup began causing winds and rocks to fly towards Pitch, but Pitch's nightmares held Hiccup tight and forced him to watch Merida in pain.

Wait that's it! If we can't defeat her with pain maybe we can defeat her with something else.

I began to walk towards her.

"What are you doing?" she asked raising her other fist at me.

I began to feel pain but I walked on more towards her.

"Rapunzel stop!" Jack yelled.

Pitch then grabbed him with his nightmare dust and had him chained as well.

"Can you handle the little girls?" Pitch asked.

"Yes!" yelled Penelope angrily.

"But I still kept walking towards her. the pain started to grow to the point  where I was crawling. I finally came to her feet. I rose and hugged her.

Light started to glow.

"What's happening!" she screamed.

"I'm defeating you with your pain. Kindness." I said.

Finally the light exploded. I was thrown back. I looked up to see a woman on the ground.

She stood up wearily, she had blonde hair and pale skin. She was dressed head to toe in white and gold.

"No what have you done!" Pitch yelled.

The woman got up and began to glare at Pitch. She releaseda blast of light. We heard him scream and wither down into dust.

Hiccup and Jack were free and I rushed towards Merida and began to heal her.

Hiccup helped Merida up and I hugged Jack.

"Thank you children, you helped free me from Pitch's dark spell." the woman said.

"Your welcome, but who are you?" Jack asked.

"I am the Lady of the Sun.also known as Penelope the Sun goddess." she stated.

"Woah." we all said.

She chuckled "I must go back now but I will always be watching over you children. Thank you all. Especially you little flower." she said to me.

She flew off into the sky.

"Well now what?" Merida asked.

"I could go for some pancakes." Jack said.

We all laughed.

"First let's go back to the workshop." I said holding his hand.

"Alright workshop........then pancakes." he said.

Author's note: OH MY GOD story is almost done just like a few chapters left. so sad. I know this story is shorter in terms of chapters then Merida in Berk, but that's because some of these chapters are longer than the ones in the other stories. By the way sorry if you don't like the whole pancakes thing. I"m writing this at like ten am and I haven't had breakfast yet haha. Remember to Share Comment and Vote!!
