Rapunzel's POV

Jack and Hiccup came to my room in the night insisting we go back to rescue Merida now and not in the morning. I completely agreed. I was determined to get my best friend back at all cost. I transported Jack, Hiccup, and I outside the castle.

I looked around to see a familar redhead climbing over what looked like a stone wall.

"She's over there guys!" i whispered.

We ran towards the wall and climbed over it to see her holding something gold. Her memories!!!

She turned around and almost screamed until I calmed her down.

"Please we don't want to hurt you, we're just trying to get our friend back." I said.

"Please go away I know nothing of your friend, I'm deeply sorry just please leave me alone!" she said.

"Open it." Hiccup said quietly.

"What?" Merida said.

"The box it holds all your pass memories. Only you can open it." he said hoping.

"Don't do it Sarah!" The Nortix appeared in his human form. "They're tricking you! That box holds evil things it will make you go away again."

"Don't listen to him Mer- Sarah if it did do that then why would he keep it in his own garden." Jack said.

Merida turned to the Nortix for an explaination.

"I was making sure it wouldn't fall in the wrong hands."

"I'm sorry but I trust my husband." she said giving him her memories.

Hiccup's POV

Our last chance was now officially gone. She had given back the Nortix her own memories without even realizing it. Then she walked over to me.

"Dear man, I would like for you  to talk, you are very depressed over your loss and I think it would be good if you talked about it. I know you miss your beloved but blaming others is no way to handle so talk to me you can trust everyone here."

Oh god if only she knew.

"Sarah I don't think this is a good idea, he's mad! You could get hurt." The Nortix said.

"I trusted you and now you must trust me I can handle myself." she said sternly

"Now tell me about this girl."

It's official nobody's life........ well after life sucks more than mine right now. My girlfriend who has completely lost her memory is asking me about herself without even knowing it. Unless who knows maybe telling her one of our stories will bring her back. It's worth a try.

"This one time yo- Merida and I were walking in the woods, I spent hours packing and planning this picnic date. I set everything up and it was pretty much perfect. Well while we were walking we heard a noise come from the wood. Merida will never admit it but she's terrified of bears. So I said I would check to see what it was. I let out a disappointed groan. Merida followed right behind me and we both saw Jack half way done eating the picnic I had spent hours setting up." I chuckled remembering.

"Hey I was hungry" Jack commented.

"Jack your such an idiot, I can't believe you ate almost a whole bucket of apples." Merida laughed.

We were all shocked. 

"Mer?" I asked slowly.

"Yes, No I'm Queen Sarah, Wait no I'm agh." she suddenly cried in pain.

"No what have you done!" the Nortix cried.

All of a sudden black dust was falling off Merida's dress, Her memories flew out of the Nortix's clutches and was now in Meridas hand. The box opened revealing gold and blue. Until finally it all stopped. And It was just Merida in her regular dress on the ground.

"Merida......it's me........it's Hiccup." I said.

She looked up and smiled. "Hi Hiccup nice to meet you." my heart sank. She doesn't remember.

"You look familar...." she said. "You know I have a boyfriend who looks exactly like you.....funny has the same name as you too only he tames dragons and is the guardian of Fall." she smirked.

"I'm going to kill you for making me think I lost you again! I mean really pulling jokes at this kind of time...." I ranted

"Hiccup just shut up." she said and grabbed the front of my shirt and kissed me.

It was good to have her back.

"This is not over." The Nortix shouted.

"I still have your little golden friend, though she's just a power minion now but still powerful. You will pay for taking my heart away from me for a second time. I swear." he yelled and disappeared.

All of a sudden Mitch appeared. MITCH! We totally forgot him at the castle!

Merida's POV

"I'm glad to see your back Red." he said.

"Thank you for leading me back to where my memories were kept." I said giving him a hug

"I am deeply in your debt." Hiccup said holding my hand.

"No problem just help me get back my kingdom when you have the time." he said.

i looked over towards Rapunzel and Jack.

"I'm sorry can I just hug you now." she said.

I gave her a hug. "I missed you so much Punz."

"Hey what about me, you know best frenemy in the world.......helped you get your memory back by eating apples." Jack smirked.

"Wow I can't believed I actually missed you Jack." I said giving him a hug.

"I missed annoying you. I haven't been threatened to be melted in like weeks!" he said.

"Sorry to ruin this whole reunion but we still have a problem." Mitch said.

"Penelope." I said.
