Chapter II

-=Present time on Earth=-
Flashes of blue light appeared in the air and the four girls landed in snow with blistering cold winds hitting them. This didn't seem to affect them too much due to their auras keeping them warm for the mean time.
"What the, where are we? And why is there snow?" Ruby said getting up out of the snow.
"I don't know, but this isn't Atlas that's for sure. Snow storms never got this bad up there." Weiss replied to her.
Blake sighed, her bow got ruined and so she took it off and tossed it in the snow. She could hear better without it anyway.
Yang unclogged the barrel on one of her bracelets because snow got in it. "Well, we need to find shelter. Our auras won't keep us warm forever."
"Let's get moving." Ruby took the lead and the rest of her team followed her.
They walked through a small crevice and they came back out into the open, a small structure was just ahead, with a cable car that goes up the mountain.
"Yes! Shelter!" Yang shouted. She didn't know of the danger that laid ahead.
"Yang wait!" Blake stopped her. Her ears twitched as she could hear foot steps. "We got company."
They heard a yell as aliens, some with four arms and some with only two, they had plasma weapons and started firing at all of them. They were easy to kill that was until a big one with two swords with lightning coming out of them put them in their place. It grabbed Yang by the face and slammed her into the snow, he caught Ruby's scythe and threw into the rock wall. Blake and Weiss try attacking him at the same time but his swords broke what was left of their aura knocking them unconscious. Yang tried to get up but he stepped on her chest ready to finish her off. Before he could swing a gunshot went off and his head had a hole that went straight through it and he fell back.
Yang looked back and it was a Guardian with a sniper in her hands. "Get back, now!"
Yang grabbed her unconscious teammates and fell back to her. Ruby did the same. The Guardian slowly walked up to the rest of the aliens and they watched as she encased herself in lightning and a glowing machete formed in her hand. She cut through them all and they disintegrated one by one until there was nothing left of their bodies. Her machete disappeared and she pulled a revolver from her side. The ones that rushed her were met with flashes of green through their heads.
Weiss and Blake woke up, missing the carnage Ruby and Yang saw. The Guardian walked back up to them.
"Who... are you?" Ruby asked her.
"The better question is who are you four? Are you trying to get yourselves killed?" She was angry and very concerned of how they got here.
"Look, ma'am, we have no idea where we are, we killed some big robot and somehow we got teleported here." Blake told her calmly.
"If you must know my name is Ashla." She told them. She got on her radio, "Lord Saladin, we got a slight problem. There are civilians here." She told her temporary commander.
"I can see the feed your Ghost is providing. Judging by their weaponry I'd say there from Remnant." He knew about where they came from.
"Remnant?? Isn't that where..." She trailed off.
"I know about the accident that happened to that mercenary Cayde hired for the Vanguard. That's where he went to control his new found power. Those girls are huntresses from that planet, we can use them to reclaim what lies on that mountain." He explained to her.
"Understood sir." She replied. She got off the radio and pulled some earpieces out of her pocket and handed them to the girls. They put them in so they could hear his voice.
"Ladies, there will be time for introductions later, we could use your help to take back this place from the Fallen." Saladin told them.
"The Fallen?" Ruby was confused.
"Space pirates." Ashla told her.
"Right now, do everything Ashla says and you'll make it through this alive." Saladin said.
"Let's go ladies." Ashla told them.
She led them into the cable car and Ghost warped out and turned it on for them.
"What is that thing??" Yang asked concerned.
"What? Oh, forgot about this little light bulb, this is Ghost." Ashla said.
"This cable car hasn't been activated in over four hundred years, and what did I tell you about calling me that?" Ghost got a slight attitude with her.
The Fallen ambushed them on their way up, one of their drop ships turrets blew a hole in the cable car.
"We can't take another hit like that, jump!" Ghost told them all and they did sliding down a small hill.
"Why are the Fallen going through so much trouble to take an old observatory?" Ruby asked.
"At the top of the mountain lies the Iron Temple. I sealed it away a very long time ago." Saladin said.
"If it's so important, why wasn't the Vanguard protecting it all these years?" Ghost asked.
"The temple and its secrets are my responsibility. I went to great lengths to lock it away." Saladin sounded grim about this, he didn't want anyone knowing.
They made it to the top of the mountain after some hiking, killed some Fallen and they could see the temple from the platform they were standing on. They heard a weird noise, it wasn't Fallen, it was something else. They made their way to the noise and they saw Fallen bowing to one of their creations, a Servitor, it's what they depended on to survive since their home was destroyed.
"Servitor! Wait, Sepiks Prime? It's supposed to be dead! And the energy signature is different. Not Fallen, but its regenerating." Ghost said.
"Did you say it's regenerating?! Kill Sepiks everyone, kill it now! If that's what I think it is, the temple doors won't last much longer!" Saladin told them.
They made their way to the temple to see Sepiks try to break the doors down, they all fired at it and before long it had to retreat to make repairs. They stood in front of the door and they saw a ship fly down and Saladin warped out killing two Fallen from behind the pillars with his LMG.
"Even old wolves still bite. Shiro, what's your status?" Saladin had asked a Vanguard Scout to help him with this whole mess.
"Circling around, making sure the temple is clear, be there in a sec." He replied.
"Well done you five, now we can-" Just as Saladin said that Sepiks came back only for a second and then teleported away again.
"Shiro, get a lock on him!" Saladin said.
"Got him, I'm picking up- wait, multiple impacts near the wall at Sector 17!" Shiro said.
"They're attacking the sensor grid, they must know where SIVA is! You five, go to the Cosmodrome, if Sepiks escapes, the Fallen won't be our only problem!" Saladin told them.
