Chap 2 - The Prophecy
2 months later
In the middle of the night, a black haired girl walks through the forest and towards a pile of rubble which was known as Zeus' fist. Halfway up the path, a muscular hand shot out from behind a tree and grabbed the unsuspecting girl. Before she could attack, she caught a glimpse of familiar red and calmed down. When the hand released her, she slapped the owner of that hand.
"Don't do that! You almost gave me a heart attack." She whispered furiously.
"Sorry princess," a deep voice chuckled.
The girl rolled her eyes and said, "When exactly can Nico and I come back home?"
"Soon princess, father says that in a day he will send monsters to attack and declare war on the gods." The deep voice said, he spat at the word 'gods'.
The owner of the voice stepped forward. Under the moonlight, the girl could see the lean muscular build of a man. She hooked her arms around his neck and ran her fingers through his silky black hair, striped with red, green and gold. She leaned in gave a soft kiss to the man, who instantly deepened it. As his tongue aggressively dominated her mouth, a mewl escaped from the girls mouth.
"You should get back Thalia, before border patrol or the harpies find you wondering around." He said after pulling away from the kiss.
"Fine. See you later Perseus." She purred looking into his entrancing eyes.
(His eye colour. Just ignore the dam eyeshadow)
Thalia skillfully crept to the Hades cabin, avoiding all the sentries. Stepping into the cabin, Thalia spots her little cousin/brother playing with his mythomagic cards.
"I thought you said you don't play with those things anymore." Thalia said, announcing herself.
Nico jumped from surprise and scrambled to hide the trading cards but ultimately failing.
"I wasn't playing with it. I was just...reminiscing." Nico said with a frown.
Thalia felt bad and tried to cheer him up.
"Cheer up Neeks few more days and we finally get to leave this shit hole and go home and you'll see Bianca again."
That seemed to do the trick as the corners of Nico's lips twitch upwards.
"Also, there will be a monster attack tomorrow. So be ready." Thalia added.
"Alright. Goodnight Thals." Nico said while crawling under his blanket.
"Goodnight death breath." Thalia replied, getting into the spare bed.
Morning
BANG! BANG! BANG! Thalia and Nico jumped awake and looked around wildly. BANG! BANG! BANG! Thalia groaned loudly and went to answer the door.
When Thalia opened the door, she didn't have a chance to snap at the person disrupting her precious sleep as Annabeth shouted, "The camp is under attack!"
"Fine, just give us a minute to grab our weapons," Thalia said, waving the blonde away.
Annabeth immediately ran to the border to where the 7, now including Chad, were waiting.
"Come on Nico, let's go." Thalia said, grabbing her shield and new sword.
Thalia's sword was a gift from Perseus but they didn't want to raise any suspicion as to where she got it from so she told them it was a gift from Nico, since the sword was like Nico's stygian iron one. Her and Nico raced to the borders and put on a mask of alarm as they witness the amount of monsters. There were roughly a thousand monsters, give or take a few. The gods flashed in front of the demigods and glared at the opposition. In front of the monster army stood Kampe.
"Olympians! I have brought a message from Lord Tartarus. Surrender or die!" Kampe hissed.
Campers gasped at the mention of the dark deity.
"We will never surrender to you, vile creature!" Zeus shouted, angrily.
"Then you shall all die! ATTACK!" Kampe roared.
The campers charged and meet the monster halfway. The campers were falling one after the other, until the Olympians joined the fight. Only then were they pushing the monster back. After the Giant War, the gods abolished the 'no godly interference in mortal affairs' law. The seven were in a circle in the middle of the army, cutting down each monster they come across. Five minutes later, Kampe, the only remaining of the monster army, knelt before the king of gods.
"You will never hope to win this war, Olympians!" She said venomously.
Zeus glared at the beast before plunging his master bolt into her chest. With an agonizing wail, she withers into gold dust.
"Meeting in the big house!" Zeus ordered.
Once everyone was settled into the big house, Zeus started speaking.
"Does anyone have any ideas to increase our chances to win this war." He asked.
"Father the ice ball has broken. Should we consider asking Perseus for help in this war? He is the one that foretold this war and maybe he can tell us how to win it." Athena suggests.
Thalia's POV
Are they for real right now? They want to ask Perseus, a man they exiled to Tartarus, to help them in this war? Wow. Perseus is right, the gods are brainless.
"Wait, didn't he say he wanted revenge?" Asked a Demeter girl.
Zeus scoffed, "I'm sure Perseus meant nothing when he said that. Even he isn't that foolish to go against us, the Olympians."
"We shall need a prophecy then." Athena announced.
All eyes turned to Rachel and waited for a prophecy. Suddenly the room filled with green smoke and a raspy voice said,
The Seven, Sky and Night shall venture into the pit.
To retrieve the exiled hero with only their wit.
The exiled shall help those that betrayed,
Or an opposition shall be made.
Two siders shall be unveiled,
And the gods of Olympus shall yield.

"Okay so the prophecy says that 'the seven, sky and night shall venture to the pit'. The seven shall be going, then the sky and night should mean Thalia and Nico. The second line means we shall go and find Percy and get his help. The third and fourth line is either he agrees or not. And I'm not sure what the fifth line means. But it looks like something will be revealed. And the sixth line is about the Olympians yielding something. Maybe a weapon of sorts." Annabeth explained.
Chad, who was sitting next to her, looked proud and gave her a kiss. Ugh gross.
"Perseus will surely not dare to deny the chance to aid us. Now, off you go. Get ready to leave after lunch." Zeus said, flashing away.
Oh Void, what did I do in my last life to get a father like this.
'Hmm, I don't know how to answer that Thalia.' A voice said.
'What the... Get out of my head Void!' I mentally shouted.
'Fine, fine. But I need to talk to you about something when you come home. It's also about your father.' Void said.
Wonder what that's about.
After lunch
So...right now, the quest members are all standing at the edge of the hole that the gods opened. The hole is our one way ticket to hell.
"Let's just jump in. I could control the winds at the bottom so we won't get hurt." Jason said, cockily.
I glared at him. Ever since he started hanging out with Chad, he's become a typical jock. I don't know why Piper is still with him but I guess she changed as well, now she actually cares about her looks. I looked at the other and saw them agreeing with Jason's plan. One by one they jumped into the hole. Luckily Perseus got rid of my fear of heights, and I jumped in after them. It felt like a year before we finally landed but the seven forgot that their powers don't work here, in Tartarus. The seven went splat but thanks to Nico and his control over shadows, he managed to land himself and I safely on the ground. Not a second later, we were attacked by hellhounds and empousa.
"So where are we headed." Piper asked, dusting herself off of gold powder.
"Look over there. There are many monsters headed that way. Let's follow them and maybe they will lead us to Percy." Annabeth said.
"I still don't get why we need that loser help. I can beat this Tartarus dude with my eyes closed and one hand behind my back." Chad complained.
The ground rumbled but nobody paid any mind to it except Thalia and Nico, who glanced at each other.
"Of course you can babe. We just need to know what Tartarus' weaknesses are and we'll just dump the traitor back here, where he belongs." Annabeth said then kissed him.
"Can we go already! We don't have much time!" I snapped pushing them apart.
"What her problem?" I heard Chad murmur to Annabeth.
"She's just jealous." Annabeth whispered.
But obviously not soft enough because I could hear it. I felt myself twitch but look a deep breath. Just you wait Annie. Just you wait.
We followed the monsters up until we spotted a huge castle. The monsters were still walking to who knows where. But Annabeth already ran off and we had to follow her. The palace doors were open and Annabeth thought it was a good idea to just barge in. Five steps into the castle and we were already surrounded by guards. We had no choice but to drop our weapons. Nico was beside me and I gave him a small smirk which he returned. The guard closest to me, roughly grabbed me by the arm and pulled all of us to the throne room. The guards pushed us forward and forced us to our knees. The seven where struggling to get free but me and Nico were just glaring at the guards. Heavy footsteps entered the throne room and all eyes were turned.
