Adrien was making sure to stay hidden from Marinette's parents. He was not ready to reveal that he was alive. He loved his sweet baby daughter that would one day grow up to look so much like him but to him, she would look so beautiful like her mother. Right now, he was playing with Emma while in Bat Noir form.

"You got your daddy's paws?" He played with her tiny hands.

"Ba wa gah!" Emma giggled cutely.

"Yes, you do" He purred near her tummy to tickle her.

"BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Emma laughed due to being so ticklish.

"Awww how sweet," Marinette said.

"Hey bugaboo," Bat Noir said.

"Seems Emma loves her Batty dad," Marinette said.

"Indeed she does but she loves her mommy's milk like a kitten" Bat Noir hands the baby to her.

"Thanks, Kitty" Marinette cradles her.

As much as Bat Noir wants to warn her about Lila returning, he doesn't want to stress her since she's already a mother. He just wanted to see her happy.

"You're welcome Princess" Bat Noir said.

"So how are you doing with your prey that is a bird?" Marinette asked.

"Doing good. And so is Rena Furtive and Carapace in the meantime" Bat Noir said.

"Good. I might consider giving Kagami her dragon miraculous back" Marinette said.

"And hopefully my cousin learns to never do that again. I remember how much it traumatized you but you never lost me" Bat Noir said.

"I've put it behind and he has done better now. And since you drank his blood, you two are basically blood brothers" Marinette said.

"In a manner of speaking," Bat Noir said.

"You two are very identical. The first time I punched him was because the real Adrien would never be so pushy" Marinette said.

"Yes. I know" Bat Noir said.

Marinette puts Emma in her crib, "But then I got tricked twice because I was too obsessed with you, I wasn't thinking about my awareness" Marinette sighs.

"Yes, but we got them all back now," Bat Noir said.

"But you didn't get the butterfly," Marinette said.

"I still remember the painful memories, milady. It's too scary for me to get my hands on it. I can't even bare to look at him" He shuddered.

"Not to mention he doomed himself," Marinette said.

"His blood is on my hands when I was human" Bat Noir said.

"Yes. If this keeps up, he has not have long to live. It's been 9 months" Marinette said.

"I checked and it's spreading to his chest slowly," Bat Noir said.

"No good" Marinette said and walks up to him, holding him close.

"Killing is not how I gain freedom, justice does" Bat Noir held her too, slow dancing with her.

"I guess I'll have to get used to it" Marinette rest her head on his chest.

She heard his soft purring while they danced. His tail belt wrapped around her waist, being overprotective of her since he doesn't want anything to happen to her.

"I won't let anyone harm you again, Princess," He said.

"You still remember being my knight?" Marinette asked.

"Yes, I remember it since I saw you again," Bat Noir said.

They hear their daughter wailing that she's hungry again.

"Hold on, Mommy's here" Marinette ran over and picks her up.

"Hungry again? She's becoming more of a kitten like I am" Bat Noir chuckled.

"Just because she needs to be nursed?" Marinette said while nursing Emma.

"Yeah, but this is just too cute. I'm a dad, you're a mom, and we are both teenage parents" Adrien said.

"Yeah, it sure is. Even though the day we did it we didn't expect that" Marinette said.

The feline bat blushed at that memory, "Heh, but it did give us a miracle. When I look at her, she reminds me of my mother"

"I wish I could have seen her," Marinette said.

"It's all coming back to me. As a kid, she raised me to be kind and special. My father would spend less time with us in his studies while my mom gave me all the fun to grow. But then she had dizzy spells which worried me. And when that day she disappeared, my father locked himself away, losing his title as a father while I'm isolated in that mansion" Adrien explained in his childhood memory.

"Oh Adrien," Marinette said once finishing feeding Emma.

Bat Noir then hugs his girlfriend for comfort.

"Ga!" Emma wanted a hug from them too.

"Come here Emma" Bat Noir picks her up to let her join the hug.

A while later at night in the abandoned warehouse, Adrien was hanging upside down, scrolling through his phone pf the photos. Argos was not amused that his cousin is not getting a headache.

"Man, being part vampire made you immune to headaches" He leans back on his chair.

"My blood is not flowing. I'm undead, remember? And I see you have this abandoned warehouse as your detective office" Adrien said while looking at the photos of him and Marinette.

"Yep. And headquarters. No sign of Lila yet" Argos said.

"I still can't believe she's coming back. If my father knows it's her, he's gonna repeat it again. You do have all the proof captured on video, right?" Adrien puts his phone away.

"All of it" Argos loads it all on a USB.

"But we still need more than just my emotions to express. He needs to be lured out so the public can see" Adrien jumps down in a pose.

"Of course. But how?" Argos wondered.

"Mom is our proof. The videos she left for him and Nathalie. But we need her back, without a price to pay in exchange. I discovered my blood can revive the dead. Watch" Adrien sinks his teeth in his wrist and slowly lets his blood drip on the dead plant. They observed it for a moment and then saw it revive to full health.

"How the hell?" Argos examines it like it's really healthy and alive.

"Pretty cool, huh?" Adrien asked him.

"Magnificent. Give me the dead rat you drank from. We need a test on something that was once living" Argos said.

"Okay," Adrien goes to find a dead rat and picks up one dead rat outside.

"Let's find out" Adrien drips some blood into the rat's wounds and its wounds heal rapidly. For a moment nothing happened until the tail twitched.

"It moved" Argos saw it.

"It does work on organic beings too," Adrien said.

The rat squeaked and munched on a Camembert cheese.

"Incredible," Argos said.

"Yeah. Let's hope it works on humans" Adrien said.

"We need to run a few tests just to make sure this rat is healthy, breathing, and who knows what. This could be your chance to bring your mother back" Argos said, bringing equipment to test the rat.

"Since when are you into science and doctor?" Adrien asked.

"I'm not. Graduated school at a young age, remember" Argos said.

"Right of course. It's like how you get a driver's license at 16 in the USA" Adrien said.

"This is why I hate being a prodigy. As much as you hate modeling" Argos said, holding the rat to take a blood sample.

"Yep. All these diets and forced schedules" Adrien said.

"And skinny. Skinny leads to dehydration, nausea, and near death" Argos looks through the microscope of the blood sample.

"Yep. I get the time to build some muscle" Adrien said.

"I don't see any mutation in the rat's blood cells. Just normal. I don't understand how vampire blood can bring dead things back to full health" Argos said and looks at the rat being just a rat.

"That's one good question, since I was revived it means there might be magic in the blood" Adrien guessed.

"The deity thing did say you were not ready to die. Your body was 3 days dead" Plagg said.

"Three days dead?" Adrien replied in shock.

"Yes, you were dead for three days before the deity turned you into a vampire," Plagg said.

"Oh boy," Adrien said in shock.

"And I couldn't bare to lose a cousin. I did say I would never hurt you but apparently, I did. Emotionally" Argos said, remembering how angry his cousin reacted when he was scared of losing Marinette.

"Forget that, you did try to avenge me by giving Lila one hell of a beating" Adrien didn't want to resume the topic.

"And that psycho needs to be stopped. You can't die like a human but your princess can. I'm not gonna let you end up like him" Argos said, knowing they're a lot of stages of grief.

"Yes. But I wonder where she is now?" Adrien scratched his own chin wondering.

"Just a few more days and I'll be finishing what I started and claiming what's mine from Gabriel," She said with venom in her voice.
