We're Going To Another Camp!
Hello, little midgets! Sorry I haven't been updating. I will try to update more frequently.
READ ON, MY LITTLE MIDGETS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-------------------------------
Ginny POV
I opened my eyes to see the place we were supposed to be vacationing at, or Camp Half-Blood.
We appeared in the middle of the archery range, which the Apollo Cabin had just arrived at. They were looking at us weirdly, except for Will Solace.
The blonde walked over to us. "Back from your quest? How did it go?"
The rest of the Apollo Cabin rushed over and fired us with questions.
"Everyone! We have to speak with Chiron!" Hermione yelled. It didn't have much effect.
Will called out, "Everyone! Back away! They have to talk with Chiron!" That had about as much effect as throwing an action figure at Kronos.
Suddenly, a piercing sound cut through the air. It was so horrible, that the campers stopped with their questions for a few seconds. It affected us too, but Annabeth and Percy pulled us away from the archery range.
I looked back at the archery range. Will Solace grinned at us and mouthed, "ultrasonic whistle."
I had heard that he could do really bad taxicab whistles. But I had never expected it to be this bad.
We ran for the Big House. Mr. D was on the porch with Chiron and a deck of cards. Probably waiting for another person to play pinochle.
"You up for pinochle?" Mr. D asked lazily.
"Chiron!" Harry panted. "We failed to retrieve the wand! Sylvia's forces got to it!"
Chiron, who was in wheelchair form, sat forward.
"We'd better get the defenses ready. What have you gathered from your dreams?"
Percy answered, "Not much. Annabeth was running away from a basilisk in one. Sylvia and a snakey voice were talking about releasing something in another. And in another one, they were talking about finishing something."
"Oh dear," Chiron said. "It is worse than I thought."
"What?" Annabeth asked.
The centaur grimaced. "I cannot tell you much. But Sylvia is making a monster that is very deadly."
I sighed. "Why can't you tell us much?"
Chiron bit his lip. "The Fates forbid it."
I was about to say something derogatory to the Fates, but Ron said, "How much time do we have?"
Percy said, "Approximately two weeks."
Everyone turned their head towards him. Since when has he known battle strategy?
"What?" He defended, "Annabeth rubs off on people."
Mr. D said, "Now, are you all going to play pinochle?"
Chiron cleared his throat. "Mr. D, they have more pressing matters at the moment. Call a counselor meeting."
Minutes later, we were seated around the ping pong table. Clarisse, Lou Ellen, Clovis, Piper, Jason, Nico, Leo, Rachel, Will, Travis and Connor Stoll, Grover, and some other campers were around, including us quest people.
There was a lot of foot tapping and finger drumming.
We went over the defenses and how we should set up the army. Since it was most likely that Hogwarts was the one that would be attacked, we should set up cohorts of about forty people. That was about how many people were in each cohort at Camp Jupiter.
The meeting was soon completed. Each counselor was to tell their cabin the news.
Hermione rubbed her eyes. "We should have dinner."
I hadn't even noticed that it was around seven. We headed down to the picnic tables.
We finished our dinner and headed to the campfire. No one was really in the mood for s'mores or songs. The fire was a blue-ish shade.
Hermione went to sleep in the Aphrodite Cabin. The rest of us went to sleep on our rooms in the Big House.
