I Help With Drills

Hello, little midgets! I am sick today. I am coughing really badly, so this chapter might not be good with mah head on sick mode. In fact, I think this one is going to be a filler. I dunno. I just make stuff up as I go without much of an idea. This one is the only one in which I know what happens at the end.

READ ON, MY LITTLE MIDGETS!!!!!!!!!!

Hermione POV

"So today we are just going to do a full force charge drill," I told my eighth, gesturing to the magical practice dummies that we used for drills. They could basically act like the monsters Ron and I saw.

"We are just going to attack them. And don't worry, they can't really do anything to you. If they manage to bite you or try to suck the happiness out, nothing will happen. They'll go right through you. If they 'harm' you though, your flag will turn red," I told them, and they looked a little more eased. We'd attached CTF flags around their waists.

I muttered a quick spell, and the dummies came to life, but they didn't attack. Of course, they were under my command.

"I'm going to blow my whistle, and you will start fighting. Ready?" I blew my whistle, and the two small armies ran toward each other. I watched, observing where people could improve and where people where best.

Boom. Katherine Wright shot a monster. Slash. Damian Garrett decapitated one. Flash. Dennis Creevey sent an fire charm at another. People were killing monsters decently, though some weren't as good.

*cough* Drew Tanaka *cough cough*

Merlin, I must be coming down with a cough.

They were done in about twenty-five minutes. Only two of them looked winded: Drew and Pansy Parkinson, who had both become friends as soon as they had met. Surprise, surprise.

"That was pretty good," I told them. I didn't know a ton about combat, but enough to know how good they should be at the least. They had exceeded that, but we needed all the training we could get.

I looked at the ruined dummies. "Reparo," I muttered, and the dummies fixed themselves. They were already in fight mode, which saved me some time.

I said, "We'll do that again. Ready?" I blew my whistle and they clashed again.

I was watching them, but Annabeth and Percy came jogging up to me.

"We saw a dwarf man in the woods. He told us that Ginny, Sylvia, and Hazel are our key. And we can't let someone die until the time is right. And that someone is female," Annabeth told me.

Percy frowned. "I wanted to say that!"

Annabeth rolled her eyes in response. "Yeah. Sorry. So, do you an idea of who she is?" she asked me.

I scowled. I hated not knowing something, including now. "No idea. Maybe one of those three or someone close to them."

Annabeth nodded. "I was thinking the same thing."

They jogged away, to their eighths, leaving me wondering about so many things.

Yeah, I know. That sucked. I blame History.
