For the first time!!

Serena's POV

Calem!! I shouted in surprise. I really was shocked to see my old freind here. Calem was a friend of mine while I was young. We both used to play together and he was my best friend . I didn't know he too had started a Pokemon journey.

"Serena! It's so nice to see you again!!" he said with enthusiasm. He almost ran towards me in order to hug me but was abruptly stopped by my raven haired crush.

" Excuse me, now who might you be? " ash spoke in a slightly annoyed tone.
Wait!! Did ash just feel jealous???
No, but how.. He's soo.. Dense.

Calem replied in a clearly annoyed tone"I am Calem Xavier,  an old friend of serena and the second best trainer in kalos . "

Calem stretched his hand for a handshake.

Ash accepted it and said while shaking hands " I am ash ketchum from pallet town and serena is traveling with me. "

One could clearly see they were trying to crush each others hands but suddenly calem pulled his hand back and shrieked in pain.

Ash said " Oh, I am sorry,my grip is quite strong as I  personaly train with my Pokemon ".

Calem's POV

Oww... This guy really has a strong grip. But i am not going to let him take Serena away. She is mine and mine only.

Suddenly serena asked me
"So calem, what are you doing with miss Diantha?".

Miss Diantha abruptly replied "He is training under me as my assistant.We were just about to meet some important friends of mine."

I said"Hey serena, if you want you can come with us. I am sure miss.Diantha wouldn't mind."

Suddenly that ash replied "We would be glad to come if that's not a problem with miss.Diantha."

Ughh, the nerve of that boy. I am not going to let him get serena. Such a beauty should only be mine. I angrily replied "How about this ash, if i win a one on one Pokemon battle with you serena and only serena comes with me and if I lose you all can come with us."

Serena's POV

"How about this ash, if I win a one on one Pokemon battle with you serena and only serena comes with me and if I lose you all can come with us." Did I just hear that right? Calem has challenged ash to a battle and I am the one who is being used as a prize? What the hell is happening!! Ash thought for a moment and replied "Very well, I accept but only if serena agrees. "

I immediately wanted to say no but ash gave me a look which said "Trust me. Nothing wrong will happen. " I sighed in defeat as i could not say no to those beautiful auburn eyes of his and simply nodded. Miss.Diantha said that she would referee the match.

NO ONE'S POV

The kalos champion stood at the sideways of the battlefield and said "This is a one on one match between Ash ketchum and calem xavier. No substitutions are allowed and if any Pokemon is unable to battle the the opponent will be declared victor.
So trainers send out your Pokemon! "

Ash said "Greninja you're up."
Greninja simply nodded and jumped right on the battlefield and stood confidently.

Calem simply smirked and said "Watch as my Pokemon wipes the field with that overgrown frog of yours! Go virizion! " Calem threw his masterball and it revealed a green stag like Pokemon with legs seeming as it wore boots.

Clemont said "Oh no! It's the legendary Pokemon virizion!"

But to everyone 's surprise virizion ran straight towards ash and knelt down on one knee before him."Lord, it is finally you!I thought i would never be graced by your presence again !"

Everyone was both confused and shocked especially calem as he quickly blurted out "How are you able to speak?!! And why are you calling that idiot with such respect?!! "

"Foolish mortal!! How dare you call lord a fool!! If i wasn't bound to serve you then I ..... "Ash suddenly interrupted and replied in a gentle yet commanding tone "Virizion!! Stand down. I understand all of your confusion but allow me to explain. "

Ash said while looking at his friends . "I met virizion a few years ago while I was on my unovan journey. I helped it and as a result it considers itself indebted to me, nothing more nothing less." It seemed as if virizion wanted to say something but quickly stopped as ash quietly hinted. Virizion messaged something and showed him some memories through a closed link through telepathy.

Ash almost wanted to punch the living daylights out of calem but calmed himself and said "Virizion! Before the flames of freedom burn the shackles of bondages, one must experience it's searing burns. Therefore, in this battle, hold nothing back! "
To which virizion simply nodded and took its place on the field.

Clemont said "Even though ash has the bond-phenomenon, virizion has two type advantages over it along with being a legendary Pokemon. "
Calem said while being confused "I don't know what this whole scenario was but now you're going down! Virizion brick break! ".

Ash simply nodded as greninja dodged the hit. Diantha could only mutter, "Such speed.."

Ash said " I expected a better choice in apprentice from you miss.diantha but nevertheless.... Greninja! Let's go all out from the beginning ! No holding back! Stronger and stronger letz go!!" Suddenly a water veil started to appear around greninja.When it cleared, standing proudly was ash- greninja with a giant shiruken of water on it's back.

Calem looked at it in terror and said "I am royally screwed. "Ash paid no attention to him as greninja ran towards virizion with surprising speed and bombarded it with punches and kicks. It effortlessly picked virizion up and threw her in air and hit her with a water shiruken which instantly knocked it out.

"Vi..virizion is unable to battle and hence the winner is ash and greninja. "
Diantha said while stuttering.

Suddenly a long ,red object,  which was greninja's tongue, snatched virizion's masterball from calem's hand and placed it in ash's. "You never deserved virizion as you only caught it because you had a masterball. You are unworthy of her power. "
As soon as ash said these words he threw the masterball on the ground and smashed it into pieces with his legs thus setting virizion free.

Calem shouted "Why you little..."and ran in order to attack ash but found himself quickly pinned down to the ground by ash as he said "Try to attack me next time and a lot of things other than you're pretty face will be broken!Understood!?"
Ash spoke in a tone so terrifying that giratina himself would be scared.

"Clemont, would you please heal virizion while I  gather some berries for setting a camp?"clemont simply nodded in shock while ash went into the bushes.

(In the deep jungle)

Ash carefully looked around him and said "I know you're here so you can come out now. " Out of the bushes came at least ten team flare grunts with their weapons and while the leader said "You may have found us but now what are you gonna do? You clearly are outnumbered and outmatched in power. " The other grunts started to laugh with their boss.

Ash calmly asked them "Tell me, do you all have a family? ".

One of the grunts smirked and asked "Why, you missing yours?"and started laughing hysterically.

Ash merely replied "No, but be sure to remember their faces because that's the second last thing you will see. "

Ash said with a smirk. "T.. Then what's the last? "a grunt asked while stuttering.

Ash shouted with an evil smile "My face covered  with your very own blood!! ".

As soon as ash said it, he quickly threw his hat in the air and the only thing one could see was a bright flash of light. As soon as it subdued  ash emerged picking up his hat and wiping his face and hands while saying
"I still have to improve my speed it seems".On the ground the only things that one could see was blood, bits of torn flesh and dead bodies with some having their spines crushed or their guts ripped or even their heads decapitated.

Ash looked back at them and said "It really has been quite some time since I did this."
